Do you see IDCC aquring or partnering up with a nano tech stock for the future of wireless semis?
Do you think someone will buy IDCC out before it ever pays a dividend?
they actualy sent me some sample cigs i don't smoke tho my dad tried them he said no big deal ..lol
(they sent 3 cigs ) cost them about $4 to ship them .
I have tried Dickens cider tastes like a sweettart w/ carbonation
better than red bull and others .. The huge float and r/s threat scared me off .
I read the pr today even tho its too late for me (i sold it)
Its really good the r/s was not applied this is good news.
I hope my call to them helped them make the right decision for you shareholders good luck gang...
R/S is kissing death
they made the right call too bad its too late for some like me tho.
Please be careful; I have been thru alot of them all R/s companies are out of business or done more even another r/s to stay in business .
WLSF wellstone filters done a r/s and does not answer their phone anymore its not a good sign.
SSPC southern states power co. went up nicley and then the ceo took a vacation for 2 weeks when he came back they done a r/s and
went out of business and not even a web site anymores..
call a stock broker and ask his advice to get his side.
Then call DC brands and see what they say then make your own mind after that..
I am not a basher I would sell any of my stocks doing a r/s..
the company also said its almost a given it will happen
do your own dd good luck.
My questions were why the r/s it screws every shareholder you have ?
He replied that the r/s will make new investors think the stock actally went up that much and bring in new investors..
I told him I have never seen a otcbb R/S that worked .
He said they done research and said it was the best thing to do .
I said name one company bb that done a r/s and was good for that companies holders..
He could name none or at least he didn't tell me any.
TAKE IT FROM me R/S means all shareholders take it you know where and they go on vacation.
I decided to sell and if you wanna know what I bought with that e-mail me franksaidso@yahoo.com
I sold all my shares Friday.
My reason is simple the reverse split is like screwing shareholders out of their money and shares .
I talked to the company before I sold and he had no good answers for the r/s .
IMO its a pos.
I am not a basher just been thru too many r/s.
good luck to all in what ever you decide .
I got Tobin's ChangeWave e-newsletter this morning, "Blast-off for Microcaps. Get on board now." Expect to see ITKG soar next week...
(found this on yahoo board)...
Here's what he says on ITKG:
For decades, engineers and designers have been searching for just
the right formula to make a plastic...
...which combines plastic's very best qualities, lightweight and
moldable, with the best qualities of metal -- strength and the ability
to conduct electricity.
If you had such a product, design engineers could:
*** Reduce weight of a jet airplane or bus or truck or automobile
10% or more - cutting costs and improving gas mileage.
*** Create a cell phone case that doubled as an antenna -
increasing range and quality of wireless phone calls 20%-40%.
*** Substitute plastic for silicon in the making of semiconductors,
RFID chips and diodes.
*** And substitute plastic for metal in about 100 other applications
as well.
This truly is the engineer's "Holy Grail." And this little company
owns the patents and manufacturing process that's going to make
them, and us, rich.
Imagine if you had gotten in on the ground floor with the company
that owned the license to Teflon. Or bought Qualcomm before
anyone had ever heard of its CDMA technology.
That's how big - or bigger - this technology can be. So how close
are we to making money?
Well, we're up over 100% at MicroCap Investor already - so our
one-year profits are nothing to sneeze at.
But - and for you this is critically important - we've just reached
the point where this rocket is launch-pad ready and about to go
stratospheric.
You see, some investors have been waiting for years for this
company's technology to translate into real products - and real
profits. And that time is coming very, very soon.
They've got a manufacturer on board. Dozens of companies are
already testing the product, which just garnered a key industry
award.
In other words, things are getting very, very REAL. Once this
really hit the news - and the Discovery Channel just did in-depth
interviews with the lab scientists - it's going to blast skyward.
How much can we make?
Frankly, I have no idea how high it can eventually go. But I'm
looking to sell half when we hit a 10-bagger. The rest? I might
just let it keep growing forever.

Long Lasting Fuel Cell Batteries: Why I'd Buy Mechanical Technology
Posted on Jan 19th, 2007 with stocks: MKTY, PBW
Michael Brush submits: Wouldn’t it be nice to get a month out of your cell phone battery without having to recharge? That may sound far fetched. But it’s the kind of mileage you could see from fuel cell-based batteries in a few years. The futuristic battery is based on what’s called direct methanol fuel cell technology [DMFC]. An Albany, NY-based company called Mechanical Technology (MKTY) has a version of the battery that can last for over 90 hours.
Plus it probably won’t blow up in your lap.
Of course fuel cells, like many other kinds of “alternative energy,” are one of those areas that hold plenty promise -- and let down -- for investors. So if you buy shares of Mechanical Technology, limit your exposure and be prepared to think long term.
“This is one of our most speculative stocks,” agrees Edward Guinness of the London-based Guinness Atkinson Alternative Energy Fund [GAAEX], which holds the stock. “We are in it eyes wide open coming up against crunch time. The problem is it they are nearly a year and a half from hitting a revenue upswing. The next 18 months are going to be key.”
But like Guinness, I’ll give Mechanical Technology the benefit of the doubt as a speculative play -- because insiders have been buying the stock.
In November insiders purchased $262,000 worth for $1.81-$2 right before the stock shot up to nearly $3. Then chief executive Peng Lim bought $20,000 worth in the pullback in late December. You can get it even cheaper now at around $1.80.
I’d be a buyer, for the following reasons.
Strong partnerships
Mechanical Technology is developing fuel cell batteries with several high-profile partners, including the Duracell division of Gillette, the cell phone maker Samsung, and the U.S. Air Force and the Army.
It has a low-powered battery for consumer applications (called Mobion-1) that packs a lot more power than standard lithium-ion batteries – the kind you use now. One problem: The battery is still too big.
Mechanical Technology is also developing high-powered versions of this battery for use by the military (Mobion-30) in applications like satellite communications systems.
The company is in the demonstration phase for each. But it hopes to be selling the military batteries in 2008.
End of the road for lithium-ion
Makers of lithium-ion batteries been cramming more and more energy into smaller batteries, and they’ve pushed the limits. The result has been exploding batteries – which recently lead to a massive laptop battery pack recall by Apple (AAPL) and Dell (DELL).
The whole affair heightens the interest in fuel cell batteries, believes Rodman & Renshaw analyst Amit Dayal. Besides, portable digital gadgets will continue to demand more memory and computing power to handle more complex tasks. This calls for more power – and fuel cell batteries may be the answer.
Pure methanol
Mechanical Technology develops fuel cells in its MTI MicroFuel Cells division. Rodman & Renshaw’s Dayal thinks the company’s direct methanol micro fuel cells are superior to those of competitors because they run on pure methanol, which means they produce more power. The batteries operate on a small cartridge of methanol, and they can be “recharged” instantly by putting in a new cartridge.
Bigger potential upside
With a market cap of just $55 million, Mechanical Technology looks like a better deal than competing plays like Medis Technologies (MDTL) which has a market cap ten times the size.
“There is significantly more upside in Mechanical Technology if this does take off,” says Guinness.
Cash burn
By a rough calculation, Mechanical Technology seems like it could go a year or more without another dilutive capital raise. It looks Mechanical Technology used up about $13 million to $14 million in cash in 2006.
As of early November the company had $5 million in cash. It also held shares of Plug Power (PLUG), which the company helped found, worth $11.6 million. It December, it raised $10.3 million by selling stock to RG Capital Management based in the Cayman Islands.
While the MTI MicroFuel Cells division burns cash, the company also has an instruments division that produced $1.7 million in revenue in the third quarter, an increase of 19%. The company has no debt, and it has a tax loss carry-forward of about $46 million.
Mechanical Technology may announce a new partnership in the private sector this year, and the Department of Energy could increase funding for alternative fuel cell technology. It expects sales in the military sector to start in 2008.
The bottom line: These kinds of alternative energy plays often flame out – so be careful with position size. But the recent round of insider buying suggests this company is one of the safer ways to get exposure to what could be a big deal in consumer electronics a few years down the road.

Harris & Harris Gets Down to Business
By Jack Uldrich
January 16, 2007
Last week was a busy one for Harris & Harris (Nasdaq: TINY), a publicly traded venture capital firm specializing in nanotechnology.
On Friday, the Motley Fool Rule Breakers recommendation announced it had invested $4 million as the lead investor in Xradia, a company that designs and manufacturers a suite of ultra-high resolution 3-D X-ray microscopes and fluorescence imaging systems which have applications in everything from semiconductors and advanced materials to biotechnology and nanotechnology.
Time will tell if the investment pays off, especially since it is a highly competitive field. But the fact Xradia is already working with Argonne National Laboratory to study interactions at the nanoscale is a promising start.
What was more promising, however, were recent announcements from two of the companies Harris & Harris has invested in.
First, Nanosys announced that DoCoMo Capital, a subsidiary of NTT DoCoMo (NYSE: DCM) -- which is itself a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NYSE: NTT) -- had entered into an agreement to develop one of Nanosys' nanotechnology platforms for potential opportunities in the wireless communications market. That's particularly noteworthy because DoCoMo Capital apparently thinks enough of the technology to fund its development and take an equity stake in the company.
The second bit of good news came compliments of Molecular Imprints, which says it has shipped one of its new step-and-flash imprint lithography pieces of equipment to a "leading semiconductor memory manufacturer."
Now there is nothing inherently special about the shipment of a piece of equipment, but it is an indication that the semiconductor industry is looking seriously at Molecular Imprint's equipment to help design and build next-generation semiconductor components at and below the 32-nanometer range.
I have long felt that one of the keys to success for start-up nanotech companies is their ability to enter into agreements and/or establish partnerships with leading corporations. Nanosys, which already has an agreement with Intel (Nasdaq: INTC), is doing this with DoCoMo Capital; Molecular Imprints, which sold some of its equipment to Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) and Motorola (NSYE: MOT), is also doing the same with the semiconductor industry.
In and of itself, neither of these items guarantees Harris & Harris' success, but it sure beats the alternative of no new news and no partnerships. This is also just one of the many reasons why I continue to believe the company represents one of the better ways to invest in nanotechnology.
I encourage investors to watch for news of Xradia supplying its equipment to leading biotechnology or semiconductor companies. If it happens, it will be further proof that Harris & Harris is getting down to business in a way that should reap dividends for its investors.
IFX does make a chip that is in the new I phone apple but that is a 2G chip in it and IDCC only has a partnership with a 3G chip.
jimlur and apple Iphone
Can you tell me if this will help or hurt or no effect on towards IDCC share price?
Will Apple have to pay for licence with IDCC too?
PLFM is so quiet even after Shareholders meeting .
Lets hope its only coz they are trying to get the SEC off their backs then it can hopefully do a national demo for the gov. to see and pass the test and reward us long terms some gold and cheese and some new shoes too.
Yahoo don't have a message board for TINY anymore wonder if they will come here to post?
Is the stock market open tommorow?
First day in Jan when IDCC closed in 2006 (jan 3) was 18.33
last day of 2006 33.55 ..
+15.22 per share.
The first day in Jan 2006 ITKG closed at .30 cents ended this year at 3.76.
nysepick can you copy of what changewave mentioned said about ITKG thanks
I am with Jimlur and DD on the divdend along with the buy backs.
Our stock would look so much more attractive with a 3% yield ..
As Bob the builder says can we fix it ?
YES WE CAN!
I recall a long time ago Disney corp found that it owned too much cash and was to pay the goverment it or give it to shareholders they gave a HUGE dividend one time per share of disney stock could this be a possible thing for taxes and IDCC?
On the new years blog ..
Its very good but I have a question a ten bagger means $10 or ten times where it is now?
NVEC up nicely today too.
Quantium computer company TINY invested in is call Dwavesystems.
www.dwavesys.com
And we shall get our happy ending soon....
ITKG is a winner winner chicken dinner!
Jim Cramer needs to do some homework on IDCC.
On May 1 2006 lighting round he said time to sell IDCC.
it was $25.56 then now its $30+
Anyone else in GERN its taking off lately?
From my understanding their product will be displayed and they did not buy a booth .. refering to CES.
still here and just waiting for price to move I am long term tho ..
I am excited about one of their holdings Nantero which is working on nanotubes for computers and its goal to never have to wait on a computer to load up just turn it on like a tv how HUGE would that be?
that looks really good for PLFM!
Go PLFM
fossa check out some other stocks I like too.
