Hey Lou, I use Datek level II with the Medved QuoteTracker. So I get island book in the pre-maket and after hours sessions and Nasdaq Level II during the normal trading session.

Dick, you said "but what if it hit my limit price, but dropped back down before my order could be executed. It would not sell."
In this case you might want to consider a stop market order. That way if price hits your target price the order is executed at the current market price either above or below your trigger price. This can be risky though. Market makers play games with the stock prices when they see a lot of orders on the books. There are books out there that exlplain what they do. From my research it is safest to only use limit orders. I have been burned numerous times.
If this is not the answer your looking for let me know and I will try again.

rrochon, GTC stop orders are executed if the stock trades below the price you specify. Since you entered the orders with a price higher than the current selling price of the stock the orders were executed. I believe you wanted to sell if the price reached those levels and if that is the case you would want to use a Sell Limit Order.

Dambo, are you still watching RSTO?
JimBob
I love the pics. I wish I had time to do that stuff. hahhahaha
Kaye, no.. I am refering to a brand new version being released in January. Looks alot like the RT version, multiple chart windows and more.

Yeppers, if the fundamentals hold up, a good dip will be good for the stock. So if you like it, now is the time to get your X_Dev setup going and get a good grasp on the industry and fundamentals. Then when the dip comes you will know if it is for you.

Hey Lou, CTSH, check the short interest out:

Dambo, I spent a couple hours looking over this stock on Friday. I was still unsure. There is an X_Dev buy signal recently, but I was concerned that the price action over the last two days was just short covering. I had the idea of buying at $4.00 and selling at the 20 day ema. The market is turning bearish again and RSTO has weak fundamentals.
Is there any other criteria that you are considering? I would love to hear it.
Talk to ya soon,

Lou, thanks for the ACF setup. It's an improvement over mine. Myst sold me on his Primary Trend indicator, and with low capital I find using it increases my probabilities for success.
I use the Primary Trend indicator on the VXN as an early indicator for trend change. Over the past week the VXN was bullish while the Primary Trends of the indexes remained bearish. As of Friday the VXN started to move to the bearish side again. So I wait and maybe pick off a daytrade or two in the meantime.
I really enjoy reading everyones perspective on their picks or the market. Take RFMD for instance. I feel that the stock has some more downside to it while most of you are taking long positions. I don't think anyone is wrong in their observations or choices as it is a matter of their personal investing situation. That is what makes the market go up and down.

Jerry, the X_Dev 12day portfolio view would give you this information. I have posted posted both views but was unsure which view was prefered. If I use the 12day view (from the day I started trading the stock) viewers were unable to see the backtesting results.
One option would be to have the setup shown seperatly and the X_Dev picture as the actual trading period.
Let me know what you think.

Myst, I can't complain and have only made money using X_Dev.
I think my added concern is that of low capital. I am finding that I have to be more conservative in my stock selection and entry points. With the lower capital available I won't be able to average down as much and could get stuck in a buy and hold type situation or getting stopped out to frequently to be profitable.
Jim
Myst, I was looking at RFMD (like I do everyday, gg). I thought I would throw this weekly chart up. It's a little busy but if the picture is correct we could be heading down for awhile with a pullback or two along the way. What do you think?

Kaye, Did you see the new TC2000 stock scanner coming out in January? I am getting it so if your up to sharing some of your X_Dev scans with me I would love it.

Lou, I am looking at the ACF charts,
It looks like price is holding to the assending pennant still with price sitting on the bottom trend line. ADX 12 is bouncing off the the bottom of the scale and turning up and the average volume is trending lower. I am thinking we will see some directional movement soon.
The banking index $BKX is showing some bullish signs in price and Aroon 10, and ADX 12 is also sitting on the bottom of the scale and turning up.
ACF's weekly chart is showing some positive signs in the indicators as well. ADX 12 has just turned down from it's highest spot in 2 years and +DI -DI are starting to close the gap. Aroon 10 is now bullish as well.
To sum it up, I see signs pointing to a positive swing. What's your DD telling you?
Talk to ya soon,
