I just got a PM from someone who uses Scottrade that $0.067 is showing up on the streamer for ZVTK as the high for the day and low is $0.0055. Did a fat finger mm squeeze the trigger on a $0.067?

ZVTK - Nice looking breakout going on. Sales actually started last night and the infomercial will be released shortly. Here is the PR: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Zevotek-to-Sell-Ionic-Bulbs-pz-3525399266.html?x=0&.v=1
95+ Million shares traded by 10:30am isn't too shabby.
In summary, Zevotek previously announced its intention to market and sell an Ionic CFL Lightbulb. With last Friday's PR issued at the close, the company has announced that it will officially sell the Ionic CFL Lightbulb starting today, but the website actually started to allow sales last night via its website. Also in the PR, the company announced that a media campaign will begin by the end of the month of December.
ZVTK main website http://www.newionicbulb.com/ where the TV infomercial commercial can be viewed.
With the PR, the volume and upward pps should create a true breakout on the chart from the long downward trendline. A breakout should be a bullish indicator, and thus a new upward trendline will be formed.
At the moment, the stock is just now getting the attention it deserves. Note the following:

With sales starting and a media campaign, the website(s) for Zevotek should start to see some traffic as well, and can be potentially tracked by using: alexa.com
Finally, note that the 100W incandescent lightbulb is already banned in Europe, Australia has banned the incandescent lightbulb, and additional bans in subsequent years will be extended including but not limited to, the United States.
Best of luck to you and all, and congratulations to all that jumped in prior to the PR released last Friday!

"Incandescent Light Bulbs to be Banned in Europe
The light bulb, a defining invention of the late 19th century, will soon be a thing of the past in the European Union.
EU Energy Ministers decided in Luxembourg last week to ban incandescent light bulbs in Europe as of 2010. The move comes just a few days before the lifting of EU import duties on energy-saving lamps from China, which will help bring down retail prices of the most efficient light bulbs.
...Last year Australia became the first country to announce an outright ban by 2010 on incandescent bulbs. The changeover in the United States will be more gradual, not mandated to begin until 2012 and phased out through 2014"

Thank you FuturesJackal on the invitation and congratulations on another great idea for a board. Investing in Food, and Agriculture production is huge as populations will continue to rise, while valuable land to raise crops is dwindling. I've been following a scientific discussion bulletin board for agriculture found here: http://www.energeticforum.com/agriculture/ The majority of individuals who post on this board primarily have of course scientific backgrounds, but not necessarily in the field of agriculture and the purpose of that board is to investigate and duplicate possible ideas. For investors who participate on a stock discussion bulletin board, getting your hands dirty may not be appealing, and looking for investment ideas in food may seem rather boring. However, there are some great ideas to solve food production and investing in these ideas may just help bring them into reality and in the process help your portfolio show some green while providing a very precious commodity known as food to people the world over.
Once again, congratulations and looking forward to new ideas and developments.

To me, a big difference this time around will be the fact that the incadescent 100W lightbulb is already banned in Europe. Slowly the ban will include more incadescent lightbulbs and not just in Europe. While we can speculate what the short term might be, in the long run the CFL appears to be the logical replacement and add in the ionic feature, and things might get a bit exciting around here. Hard to compare the SPNG run as other sponges weren't banned.

ZVTK.PK $0.0026, PR Released at close.
==========================================================================================================
Dear Gail,
Per our previous conversation held via pm, I'm providing a 2nd follow up post with your permission. Hopefully, I will have addressed the questions and concerns shared regarding the stock and the PR released at the close on Friday's trading session for ZVTK. (See below for the link found on Yahoo Finance)
In summary, Zevotek previously announced its intention to market and sell an Ionic CFL Lightbulb.
See discussion bulletin board for ZVTK--> http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=9163
ZVTK main website http://www.newionicbulb.com/ where the TV infomercial commercial can be viewed.
With today's PR issued at the close, the company has announced that it will officially sell the Ionic CFL Lightbulb starting Monday via its website, and then will begin a TV media campaign by the end of December.
After watching this stock for a couple of months, I finally stepped in on December 1, and then subsequently posted on your board regarding ZVTK. What was interesting to me regarding the ZVTK stock was that despite a long downward trendline, a base had finally appeared to have been established and therefore, I started to accumulate with an entry point of $0.0021 and then through $0.0029. Note, accumulation only, without selling shares. At the present time, I would characterize the stock as having a soft breakout (albeit established over a couple of months) from the downward trendline only, as no real trigger was really available to cause the chart to break through the next resistance point of approximately $0.0032. However, with actual sales set to begin on Monday, the resistance point of $0.0032 may be tested. With a true break out of the downward trendline, the stock may become bullish on the chart.
Additional items to consider with ZVTK:
1. It is my understanding that ZVTK intends to eventually market the Ionic CFL Lightbulb to Europe and Asia.
2. The incandescent lightbulb will be eventually banned in the US and in Europe the 100W Incandenscent lightbulb has already been banned since approximately September. While the actual ban for the US domestic market isn't right away, this is a "green" product as it saves money on electricity for lighting while clieaning the air.
3. ZVTK recently eliminated approximately $500 million USD in debt, in exchange of shares.
4. The CFL appears to be an instant on type and not one that requires it to warm up before the full capacity of lumens is produced.
At the moment, this appears to be an interesting play. I missed out on an early entry on another infomercial type of stock, SPNG and then kicked myself when I saw the infomercial for SPNG on TV and the resulting pps for that stock.
Please see my disclaimer at the bottom of this post. While I may not frequently post on this board, I stop in and read from time to time. Thank you gail for allowing a 2nd post to be provided as a means of updating the developments of this stock.
Sincerely,
funmaxus

China To Invest CNY90 Billion For Waste Water Treatment
December 4, 2009
China says that, over the next two to three years, it will invest more than CNY90 billion on waste water treatment to ensure drinking water safety.
Wu Xiaoqing, the vice minister of China's Ministry of Environmental Protection, stated at a recent conference that China had made dramatic achievements in waste water treatment in the past three decades, but the quality of water in the country's major water sources is still unsatisfactory. Wu said that the Chinese government would arrange funds of over CNY90 billion in the next two to three years for the construction of waste water disposal systems and to ensure that drinking water is safe.
According to Wu, about 270 million people in rural China do not have access to safe drinking water. Wu pointed out that the water industry still needs to do more to conserve and recycle water resources, and the country's industrial water use could be greatly reduced provided more efforts can be made on recycling water.

I appreciate the boots on the ground dd report of Guam. Since I wasn't as familiar with the island, I looked it up on Google Maps to try and remember where Guam was and just how big the lake you were talking about. To save everyone else the trouble of pulling it up, I made a couple of screen prints showing where Guam is located and how big the lake is which can be seen below. Wow, it isn't very big at all. Hopefully with EPA funding and overseeing the project the islanders will get sewer and potable water. Once again, thank you for your service!

Guam gets $3.9M for water projects
http://mvguam.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8815:guam-gets-39m-for-water-projects&catid=1:guam-local-news&Itemid=2
“This remarkable opportunity to provide much-needed support for sustainable water and energy-efficient drinking water and wastewater systems throughout the U.S. is unprecedented,” said Laura Yoshii, acting regional administrator for EPA in the Pacific Southwest. “This funding will allow Guam to identify its highest water infrastructure priorities, protect human health and surface water quality, address climate change, and create critical green jobs as a foundation for a sustainable future.”
Guam will receive $1,836,500 for its wastewater construction program. The EPA grant provides funding for water quality protection projects for wastewater treatment, non-point source pollution control, and watershed and estuary management. Guam also will receive $2,124,000 to improve its drinking water system.
An unprecedented $6 billion will be awarded to fund water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the country under the Recovery Act in the form of low-interest loans, principal forgiveness and grants. At least 20 percent of the funds provided under the Recovery Act are to be used for green infrastructure, water and energy efficiency improvements and other environmentally innovative projects.
The new grant was announced following EPA’s announcement last week about its final decisions to deny the Guam Waterworks Authority’s permit variances exempting the Agana and Northern District wastewater treatment plants from secondary treatment requirements.
The EPA has concluded discharges from the two plants do not meet the Clean Water Act’s requirements as both plants discharge treated wastewater exceeding Territorial water quality standards for bacteria, designed to protect recreational activities such as swimming and fishing.
Additionally, neither plant has met the minimum standards for primary treatment, which require 30 percent removal of total suspended solids and biochemical oxygen demand.
“We have determined that both wastewater plants fail to achieve the Clean Water Act requirements for a variance from secondary treatment,” said Yoshii. “EPA will continue our work with the Guam government to protect the vital water resources of the island.”
GWA’s Agana and Northern District plants have been operating under variances from secondary treatment. With the final decision to deny the renewal of the variances, both plants will be required to upgrade to full secondary treatment. EPA will work with GWA to develop a schedule for implementing projects consistent with GWA’s priorities. GWA has invested in improvements to its wastewater collection system, significantly reducing sewage spills.
Yes. However, with a little news it would certainly help confirm a bullish indicator. There is a slight deviation between where some people are showing the exact breakout point, however I'm of the opinion that it wouldn't take much.
