Re: "What's going on with FNIX?"
Here you are. Read the more detailed 8-k SEC release.
Note: At this point one only can expect some dead monkey jump, which I believe will happen soon. At this price, IMO, this is a good play for a fast in and out.

Form 8-K for FONIX CORP
11-Jul-2006
Other Events, Financial Statements and Exhibits
Item 8.01 Other Events
Amendment of Certificate of Incorporation
On July 3, 2006, Fonix Corporation (the "Company") amended its Certificate of Incorporation by filing with the Delaware Secretary of State's office a Certificate of Amendment to Certificate of Incorporation (the "Certificate of Amendment").
The purpose of the amendment was to increase the authorized capital of the Company, specifically the number of shares of Class A common stock that the Company is authorized to issue. Following the filing of the Certificate of Amendment, the Company is authorized to issue up to 5,000,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock.
The Company's shareholders approved the amendment to the Company's Certificate of Incorporation at the 2006 meeting of the Company's shareholders, held on June 23, 2006.
"We will continue to search for debt financing using our accounts receivable as collateral. The proceeds of this financing would satisfy any remaining IRS obligation, be used to protect the share price and be a funding source for future clinic acquisitions," Dr. Stucki said. "We are also looking for an investor relations firm that will allow us to tell the very positive AMHI story to Wall Street and potential investors."
1. Danger zone, IMO.
2. You'll most probably see Cornell involved.
I was checking this out today, but due to the bad in today's PR, I'll pass it.
Mike
FNIX @ 0.006 - Good gambling price, IMO
SYTE - something is up. The graph starts looking good, and volume is up.
MOBL - with some news (and Tobin Smith pump), it would move again next week, IMO.
PUPS @ 0.009's - good loading zone, IMO
SDGL @ 0.07's - good loading zone, IMO
GDVI - wating game. If the 10-Q comes out in time (at the end of this month), and it's decent enough, this will move nicely.
VFIN - big dissapoitment
Mike
Good gambling price, IMO. Just got some @ 0.0061.

Can't complain, with close to 800K I bought @ 0.112 average, and intending to keep them for at least a double. W/o strong news, daily traders will bring it down tomorrow. That will give some more people a second chance.
One thing though: those that blame the MM's for the way the PPS moves are the true poets.
Mike
But, of course! And the true winner (as usual) is TB. It just happen that those of us that loaded the boat at around 0.11 regardless of his "advice," and based on the same info he had, are the secondary winners.
That's quite clear it was TB that brought the price down, the way he did it last year when he brought it to below 0.15, and then took it to 0.36 (?) shorthy thereafter.
Prediction: Some good PR's will follow, and this will go back to 0.3 (or more) very soon. These TB-type crooks DO NOT like wating for the reward. They give it to themselves.
Mike
Still pumping this crap? Some people never learn, it looks like.

Newbies corner: GTE
"A source familiar with the matter, who requested anonymity, says Amex is considering delisting GlobeTel and wants to hear GlobeTel's reasons why the exchange should do otherwise.
GlobeTel has put out many a bold press release since late last year, hyping everything from a $600 million deal to build a WiMax wireless network in Russia to a way to call across the world for the same cost as if you were calling next door. The releases sent the stock as high as $4.49, giving the erstwhile Bulletin Board penny stock a Wall Street valuation of more than half a billion dollars, despite the company's modest revenue and history of losses."
http://www.amtddj.inlumen.com/bin/djstory?StoryId=Crl2UqaebqLqWmdi3mdm
Lesson: When these companies promisse you the moon, be very, very cautious, and learn to listen to people that might better recognise the fakes. Before the AMEX listing (following the 1:15 R/S), I tried to alert those poor fools, but they got mad with me. Likewise, more recently, the "XSNX-s fools" got angry with me after alerting them about that fake company - the price was close to $2.9 then (a few months back); and it's below 0.6 now, and heading toward subpenny, IMO.
Mike
First good signs of a long expected Telecom recovery are here. Just do a Google, and you'll find enough proof for it. For instance:
http://www.internetnews.com/bus-news/article.php/2234341
Once it becomes clear that the downturn is over, the sheep will follow, and even small companies such as MOBL will benefit.
Good time to load all you can, IMO.

Got a few more GDVI today. GDVI is not alone. The MM's have declared war on GVPB's: MOBL was brought down to 0.105 $ SYTE to 0.052. Large caps are even worse. Sold one of them today (fortunatelly at a decent gain) & loaded MOBL, and bought more SYTE. Stay away from VFIN for now, IMO.
Mike
Got over 500K since Friday (mostly today). Also some more SYTE & GDVI.
Mike
You got to love this. Bought more today (most shares are mine). Also, loaded over 500K of MOBL since Friday, and some more GDVI. MM's are doing a good job in providing us with such good opportunity to buy GVPB's (Good Value Penny Bottoms):
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=5444
Mike
I LOVE it. I'm back to over 500K since Friday.
FYI: In this nasty (to say the least) market environment, the ONLY way to come ahead is to find GVPB's (Good Value Penny Bottoms). If any newbies here, you might wish to check out the GVPB board:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=5444
MOBL made it as #1 GVPB on Friday, and again today. If you like that (winning) strategy, check out the teachings of that board. You won't be sorry! Enough said!
Mike
GVPP's today: MOBL (@ < 0.12), GDVI & SYTE (@ ~ 0.06).

This stock turns out to be a big, big dissapoitment.
Mike
Dave, just wait for the 10-K (it should be out by the end of this month). If good enough, the chart will take care of itself.
Mike
Go to the SEC fillings. I don't see any insiders that actually sold any shares. Rather, I see Jay is still buying small amounts (and all well above today's PPS):

3-Jan-05 13,000 MOBL.OB Purchase at $0.234 per share.
(Cost of $3,042)
DSP,
I doubt it. The 10-K should move it, IMO. But, after that, who knows, especially if the dilution continues.
This is a pitty, as the company got into a good bussiness, but poorly run.
Mike
GVPB's today:
MOBL @ high 0.12's
GDVI @ low 0.06's
SDGL @ high 0.07's
CKEI @ low 0.01's
Mike
I'm back with a few shares (using some small amount of "opportunity" reserve money I usually keep):
"For your order to buy 50000 shares of MOBL at 0.1261 limit, good for today:
You bought 25000 shares of MOBL at $0.1261 on 07/14/2006.
This is a notification of a partial fill."
Got them all. The way I translate the Cornell deal is a polite way of saying: "Go to to hell Cornell." Of course Jay won't say it, but I bet it's what he thinks, and it's planning for. A golden rule of doing business is "not to burn any bridges after you passed them," and Jay knows it.
I predict some nice surprises are awaiting those that are buying at these price. This is, of course, JIMHO.
Mike
Re: "Recently I have e-mailed the Ceo once and Larry 3 times without a returned response"
Wou are wasting your time writing to Larry. First of all the company should not pay him for public relations. When he finally answer, he's nothing but a nasty SOB. Why does the CEO needs him? He (the CEO) should answer himself all the inquiries any investor might have (or have a Q&A section attached to their web site, as I suggested to this Larry character). He's either not able to, or simply too lazy to do it. Being the head of a small public company brings some responsibilities, and this is one of them.
Mike
As a start:
http://www.80211-news.com/
MOBL has what it's needed to not only survive, but prosper in the Telecom market.
Mike
It's official. Cornell is out:
http://www.bbwexchange.com/publications/page1423-170916.asp
and I might get back in, as a result.
Mike
This acquisition looks to me as a very good deal for SYTE:

If you like Energy stocks, save this site:
http://www.energyandcapital.com/
PS: Expect uranium price to explode after the G8 summit on July 14. Oil will continue its move up, toward $100/barrel, IMO, and this will trigger a better price for most renewable energy companies.
Mike
That's a 144 form: planned sale. Anytime an insider actually sells any shares, the forms "4" have to be filled. Look at the SEC fillings:
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/filings.jsp?symbol=gdvi
No form 4 filled since 2000. So, whomever Brooks Phillip is, he actually did not sell any shares. Hence, I wouldn't worry.
Let's us see what the 10-K will bring us. It should be out by the end of this month.
Mike
Read and educate yourselves. Oil will indeed become a very scrace commodity:
http://www.peakoil.net/
Renewable energy (e.g., solar power that includes PV, wind, renewable oils, etc.) and some forms of alternative energy (e.g., nuclear wether we like it or not) are the only good answer to a very predictable energy crash. The oil crash might not be as bad, nor as sudden as some pessimists want us to believe, but for sure not as rosy as some oil companies are tooting.
Mike
Re: "Have you seen the price of Oil?"
You haven't seen anything yet, IMO. Oil will soon become an unafordable comodity for many. Just two sites:

Biodiesel fuel use growing steadily
SAN FRANCISCO, July 2 (UPI) -- Biodiesel fuel, a renewable energy source, is beginning to integrate into the U.S. farming and trucking industries, the San Francisco Chronicle says.
Production of biodiesel fuel, manufactured from animal fats or vegetable oils, tripled in 2005 to 75 million gallons, the Chronicle reported. The United States uses almost 140 billion gallons of gasoline per year.
Government subsidies and a nationwide increase in fuel plant construction have many business owners experimenting with biodiesel fuel for vehicles with diesel engines.
Once far more expensive than petroleum, a sharp price increase for regular diesel makes biodiesel more attractive. The average gallon of biodiesel fuel costs between $3.00 and $3.50, the Chronicle said.
Sixty-five biodiesel plants are operating in the United States, and fifty more are under construction, the newspaper said.
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory found in a study that pure biodiesel fuel releases 78 percent less carbon dioxide than regular diesel.
A federal tax credit for users of biodiesel fuel was introduced in January 2005, the newspaper said.
