Player, it is not traders that I have a complaint about. It is anyone whose purpose is just to manipulate by false facts, spinning false info, discrediting, complaining, in order to deceive. Worse is those that say they do not own shares or will not own shares but spend time mocking managment and claiming that a scam is occuring. Their sole purpose is to make the spreads or maybe just to taunt others due to lack of a life. Many people contribute to this board in order to inform and support. We all know that we are in a stock that is risky. We are swinging for the fence. Despite the odds, Wave is still here. Managment has spent a lot of money. Is it a lot considering they have led the transformation of an industry? Those gaining satisfaction from the suffering of others are just not a necessary part of a great community.
Snackman, why do we need traders talking trash on this board. Legitimate points of view are one thing, but day after day of self admitted manipulators, bashers that claim no shares or traders that purposely mislead are different. We all know who they are. We ignore or we engage. Both choices just hurt the board. If we ignore, new members coming in would view dishonest points of view that its author might not even believe. If we engage it just makes sifting through that much harder.
Larry, I doubt it on all points.
Dell sells more computers than anyone in the world. Their reputation is that they let everyone make mistakes and then when they see the right path they take it. We are that right path. Despite the naysayers, our presence on the Dell site continues to grow. You bashers can have your scraps of trading profit. I pick stocks that I believe have a real future in front of them. The problem is that we, as investors, really can't be sure of what is happening behind the curtain. But you can be sure that Intel, Dell and all of the other household names may have asked Steven a few tough questions before commiting to Wave. Watch the money and the leaders. Don't be a hero, follow those that know.
A billionaire told me to buy Wave. He researched every security company in the world to find the best. He committed time, money and reputation in recommending Wave. He is one of the best informed businessmen in the world. His last name is Dell. Our little Wave has become the leading player in the world in their field. Major companies have formed their future busines statagies and many of them include Wave out of choice and or necessity. The fact that our managment has brought us to this point almost amounts to a miracle. They appear everywhere. They seem to be in all the right places.
I do not believe you will ever see this stock under $1.00 after two weeks have passed. This stock is like a pregnant balloon filled with good news. The share price will explode very soon. It must. Too many major players have included us in their plans. They know our financial situation. They know where we are involved and that we will be around. If they didn't they would not commit to using us like they have. If they make a wrong choice their competitors would swamp them in the time it took them to recover and change their offerings.
Depending on how quick the news all comes out and the pieces are put together by others not reading this board will determine if Weby or Dutch is closer on share price. (rooting for you Dutch, no offence Weby). I can't wait for us all to be able to finally relax and talk about the days when you could have purchased this stock under $10.
Is there anywhere specific that we can E-mail suggestions and feedback to the company. I am sure there will be many steady improvments. Our feedback will speed up the process.
T.V Tonic help please. I got to where the channel screen says it is fetching content. This has been on my screen for about an hour. There must be a problem? How can I get past this. It will be nice to be one of the first watching the future.
Norton Internet Security was my first problem. I turned off security for five minutes (one of the options) and it installed. I still had problems when browsing channels. I don't know if it is still a security issue. Non tech savy people are going to have a tough time installing. There must be an easier way. That being said it is a beautiful, polished looking site.
The strategy is finally becoming clearer. If we think long term, over a year for software it makes sense. We are giving away valuable software with Intel now. We are appearing everywhere. When $20 or $30 dollar updates are available one, two, or three years from now and saying Wave is the same as saying Norton, bingo, succesful business model. Today we are focused on getting to break even so it is hard to see (speaking only about myself). If the dream becomes reality and we are in a majority of hundreds of millions of devices then...(lightbulb comes on, heartbeat goes up)....Wow.
The most important thing about the "compliant with Wave" statement in the Sony literature is that it indicates that for people in the know "Wave" has become or is becoming a must have selling point. It would only be listed this way if Sony felt that it was an advantage to Sony to include us. Same for intel and Dell. This next month should finally get us of the dollar mark as the message seems to be spreading fast.
Awk, another who wishes to let you know how important you have been in letting me sleep at night. I have been here over six years and would not have made it through the last three without you and maybe five others. I hope I have a chance to but dinner and drinks in Vegas. Along with Wavxmaster sometimes I feel totally useless being unable to keep up with the technology or the research in order to make more of a contribution. Many people and their families will benefit greatly because of your hard work. Many thanks
Nice to see, Charles schwab has a full WAVX report which rates WAVX as a "buy" its highest rating. They show estimated earnings per share of .18in 2006. I don't remember seeing this before. Anyone else using Schwab see this?
Snackman, I agree. We are showing strenght. I cannot get a buy at 1.13 for a while now. I predict green by the end of the day. The buying of last week will not just stop cold.
West coast, open my eyes, .96, clear head, go to put in buy order, just a dream.
Amazing CC. Just finished. Unclever many thanks. That is the most straight forward CC I could imagine. Positive and honest, giving as much info as possible without endangering the company without BS projections that cannot be substantiated. The negative people on this board should sell their shares and leave us crazy longs alone to comfort each other. I feel great. I have run companies for over twenty years. This did not feel like avoidance. It felt like constrained enthusiasm presented in a professional manner. He basically said "money is coming". How much is not known but this will be a watershed year and that means cash flow positive so that we do not have to dilute further. What the ****** more can you ask for. Another 5k tomorrow to add to the retirement account thank you. Snackman and others thanks. Great job. Sleep time........sorry for ramble....
Snackman, I am sure SKS would love to tell us all that is going on behind the scenes. The only question is how much he can tell us in order to get the price up. Short term the only issue is higher stock price, lower dilution. With the direction of trusted computing decided it is only a matter of when. We eventually will be much higher than we are today. This is the same as what happened with satelite radio. I knew if GM, Ford, Honda and the rest were making announcments that they would include these radios in their vehicles the companies (xm, sirius) would prosper. Today Intel, Dell, etc have announced. If they thought for one second that Wave would not stay around they would not be commiting time and money. Believe me they know Wave's ability to succeed better than we do. So we might have to wait a short while to celebrate but we will prove right in the end.
All I expect and we as share holders deserve is guidance moving into this next meeting or CC. I am in "the club" and more. I have invested in a public company that I still strongly believe in. However the lack of information is deafening. I agree with Snackman that due to certain agreements and or competitive reasons certain info cannot be divulged but now is the time to give us projections. Not using projections or guidance to drive our share price to a higher level thereby incurring less dilution would be beyond belief.
I have supported this company for over six years. My basis is very high having accumalated over that time. If Steven can help the shareholders that supported them during the times they needed money he should do so.
Being expectant is also dangerous and has led to our share price collapse but I am running out of valium fast. Still hoping to meet all of you in Vegas.
Whitewash, I believe eventually they will all come around. My concern though is more with our competitors such as infineon. We have led the way but how difficult would it be for someone to change their business model to compete with us by making their soutions to the OEM's interoperable. Sorry that I was not more clear.
Even in our current situation it seems that having the only interoperable solution is an advantage that will ultimately allow us to rise to the top of the TPM world. My only concern is what stops our competitors from making their offerings interoperable? Trechnically is it impossible or just difficult? I know from a marketing point of view everyone was trying to develope a proprietary solution but if our solution gains ground then can they change. I would appreciate some enlightenment as I am not technically oriented.
PC Magazine, Wave mentioned in article regarding notebook computers under the security section. Nice to see. Sorry if already posted.
Six years of buying. Todays purchases were tough emotionally but will bring lots of pleasure later. Wavx is the leader, in one the most important segments of technology on the planet. They have adapted and changed business plans to hang on to the tale of a wildly changing industry. Connected at the hip of the largest companies in the industry. All of us long time investors in wavx will laugh when we remember being nervous buying at these levels.
WAVE SYSTEMS STOCK UPGRADED in "The Value Line Survey". This is the March 4th edition that arrived today. It is the Small and Mid-cap Edition. It's there, I checked it ten times.
Someone else is obviously coming to the same conclusions we are. We keep discovering tecnical hints. This is not technical. Someone is starting to notice us. Maybe the beginning of the end of the slog.Price apreciation coming. Sorry for the numerous posts. Must be excited.
An analyst upgrade of this sort will spur interest and buying. They are also now listed on their "timely stocks in timely Industries" page. They have no agenda and are neutral. When you subscribe the recomendation is to follow their portfolio of stocks ranked one and two. Wave
Important! First analyst upgrade I have seen. Value line small and Mid Cap addition follows Wave. Each one arrives on Friday. It has just upgraded Wavx to a "timely purchase". The ranking goes from a one to five rating. Five worst, one best for performance- technical - and safety. Wave was 3-3-4. We are now 2-2-4. Value line is highly regarded. I consider this huge.
Unclever, thanks. Reading the transcript is very different from hearing it live. I finally understand the business model and my investment for the first time. SKS did a great job if even I can understand it.
A consortium led by Electronic Data Systems (EDS) said it has been selected as the preferred bidder for the first increment of a $7.7 billion contract by the UK Ministry of Defence to overhaul its IT systems. The first increment is valued at about $4 billion over 10 years.
Not sure if this could involve us but would seem up our alley.
Does anyone know why Charles Schwab never picks up on Wave pr's? Is it because they use business wire and Schwab doesn't use business wire?
The analyst forum with wave presenting would seem to be a potential pivot point for some sort of clarity. Why hold a presentation with nothing to say. If I were to guess at a strategic date for an anouncement or guidance it would be before the forum. Am I missing something. All these conferences, dots, and Dell and then a forum to explain it all and why the street is making a mistake by not noticing us. That is my prediction. Exciting times.
Look at the IBM advertising campaign. Each ad, in every magazine promotes embedded security. Millions spent to promote the idea. Dell will start that type of advertising as a sales tool. Every company will have to advertise their security. Wave does not need their name up in lights. The people buying for business or government will know which company is behind the scenes. We just want the money.
From the Dell website "Encrypted document sharing and securing of wireless network authentication are a few of the other enterprise-focused features that make WAVES'S TPM solutions the choice for the business environment.
Even though I know similar has been posted, after seeing the juggler, I couldnt help myself. Long and strong for over five years. Happy, happy , happy. A special thanks to all those posters that I read every day that have given me the strength to weather the storm.
