Well, that was a quick dip! hah.
Oh well, 50 pips is 50 pips!
Yeah, I see that! $'s not quite ready to sink lower on the Y. Tricky tricky!
Set your stop losses, fellas!
In it to win it. Shorting $/Y @ 98.5
The Beast is interesting...the Beast is dangerous! I've only been toying with a practice account, and hadn't even looked at GBP/JPY. It's a crazy animal. I'm intrigued to look at it more!
Awesome, will try and check it out tonight. Thanks!
I wasn't able to attend. For those that did, what was discussed?
Any resources/sites/links for Forex Tax Info?
Indeed! Looks similar to http://www.fancast.com.
I hear that! I wish I had $50k, too...but that's what Forex is supposed to do for me in the first place....get me to $50k and beyond! lol!
We all have to start somewhere!
I just went in and read that. Pretty amazing how quickly he tried to tear you down.
Glad to see that he changed his tune after a bit of chatting and researching you and your trades. Best of luck, and my greenbacks may see you soon! ;)
...waiting for my Tax Return, then I may be knocking!
Never heard of it. Will check it out this weekend. Interesting, to say the least!
Sorry, been busy all day...couldn't reply. But yeah, that's my biggest issue, too. Do they save my behind? Sure! but I can't seem to set them quite right.
Stupid thing is, most of the time, if I would just set my S/L just 3 - 4 pips more, then I wouldn't get stopped out and I'd continue to make gains. Grr....
Definitely. I got stopped out of my $/Y short, because I wasn't watching when the tide turned. Oh well, still made money! ;)
8 cents? Fantastic! Once we hit $500 per share, I plan on selling so I can break even! Weee............
Can't lose, indeed!
Nah, it doesn't bug me that badly. It's just strange, to me. But you're right...it doesn't take long at all to find something favorable!
'Grats on the cable!
I opened a short position on $/Y this morning. At this point, I've got the feeling it may go down to the 102.7x area to complete a triple-bottom (if not break through it) that started on Monday.
Being an American, I feel so dirty rooting against the Dollar. ;)
Right on! When does Glance open for business? hehe.
Indeed! ;D
After a quick look....
For this statement: "Glance-FX Capital Management the Way to Go"
I would choose to say: "Glance-FX Capital Management is the Way to Go"
OR
"Glance-FX Capital Management: The Way to Go"
Either add "is" or add the ":"
Toward the end: "...25% of your profit on the last trading day of the the month." Take out one of the "the's."
It looks like your files are in .csv format (stands for Comma Separated Values). Excel can open that type of file, if you right-click on each file's link and then click Save Target As... (instead of just left-clicking on the link). Unfortunately, it looks like you have the right-click ability disabled on your site.
If you can post those files with the .xls format, then they should open up automagically in the Excel program.
OK! Now, how do I turn that fake currency you earned me into real profits? hehe.
Or better yet...do you tutor? ;)
Great job, man!
Just did. Funds coming!
Thank you! Good luck in honing your skills!
Got it. Thanks Worn and Ata!
The allocation was going to be my next question, but my problem was that I was looking in the FXGame Client, not the MA Client (which you just linked to). All squared away now!
When I made the allocation, it didn't give me any confirmation box that said everything went OK. So let me know if there's still no money allocated to you. I'll go in and try again. Enjoy!
OK. Just signed up there, but I'm not seeing where/how to set which sub-account to let you manage. Hints?
Also, do I need to set the starting leverage and/or capital before you start playing?
Book names...here you go:

Canada/Japan - 5m Chart: I'm late to the game with this report, but we're trading in a channel. Cash in while it lasts!
Just stopping by to say "Hi, I'm still here..." and that I purchased both of those books you mentioned. They just arrived Tue/Wed. Haven't even opened them yet, but amongst my unseasonably busy work schedule, I hope to read them both as part of my commitment to learning FOREX.
I'm headed to Germany late next week, on business, so the plane rides should give me some free time to start reading.
That doesn't sound good.
Sorry about telling you what you already knew. All I could remember was that sanesh's post (which is what I linked to) was one of the most recent mentions of contacting Brian. I didn't search for who posted it first. My apologies.
I'm assuming you've contacted Brian about this, already?

It just went down for me, too. We'll see!
It's just how the symbols are paired....essentially, it's the Stock or Symbol Name. You'll notice that some do start with USD (USD/CAD, USD/CHF, etc.) and others end with USD (EUR/USD, etc.). It shows up the same way for anyone around the world...regardless of what your default currency is set to.
Just remember that buying a symbol means going long on the first currency in the name (and simultaneously going short on the second)...and on the flip-side, selling a symbol means going short on the first currency and long on the second. So if you buy EUR/USD, you're betting that the Euro will rise against the Dollar. Whereas, buying USD/CAD means you're betting that the US Dollar will rise against the Canadian Dollar.
Hypothetical example: If the US Dollar were to rise across the board, and you wanted to maximize profits, you'd Sell EUR/USD and Buy USD/CAD (and so on) to profit from both at the same time. Though I certainly wouldn't recommend holding a position in more than one currency pair at a time.
Did I confuse you yet? :P
Just checking in, this morning...so you didn't send out a search party. I'm still alive, but work and the Holidays have made the past 2 weeks pretty hellish. I haven't even had time to trade!...oh, the blasphemy! ;)
Hopefully in the next week or so, I'll be back trading and posting again. I do hope to "adopt a pair," at some point, too.
Happy Holidays!
Yeah it's crazy. Ouch. Take a rest, and we'll see what happens this evening.
NZD/USD is truckin' this morning! Go baby go!
Indeed. The Feds came in their U-Boats and the markets fired the depth charges!
Good time to read up on the Ichimoku!
Now THAT's what I needed! Will peruse the Ichi tutorial this afternoon or tonight. Thanks fore re-posting that here, Ata!
I'm thinking it really will be another 2 weeks, or so. I look at it this way...if they were going to announce everything this week anyway (in the next 2 or 3 days), then why bother wasting money on the PR today? This PR just buys them more time before shareholders get antsy, again.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see another PR this week. It just doesn't make sense to me, to do it this way.
Is this a possibility? http://www.sustainabletravelinternational.org/
Right around there, I'd say. Yeah. :
Heaven forbid I ever believed a CEO would have compassion for his shareholders. LOL!
