So if that is the long and short of it, it doesn't sound like anyone will lose anything. AVGI can continue their work using
CYGX license. Bottomline, CYGX has too many irons in the fire to spend time on equine/crustacean R&D.
Is there a point at which time AVGI will have to renew the license or was this license granted as a one time deal?
If this license has to be renewed in the future won't AVGI have to give some sort of compensation?
TIA

Funny how what percy says sounds an aweful lot like whwt Larry would say.......isn't it funny? Meanwhile how is GNTA doing? LOL!!!
Even with the pending lawsuits, I for one really don't think
the suits will have an impact on CYGX. For one, the parties involved in the lawsuits know exactly what is at stake here.
I find it a positive that in at least one of the suits, PP, they are determined to get their "money". Money from what?
CYGX hasn't made any................ yet.
OT: Big tobacco also knew about the cancer risks going as far back as the 40's. Bill Moyers does an interesting program showing how tobacco made cigarettes more addictive by adding
more potent tobaccos that contained much more nicotine. The more nicotine the harder the hook for those trying to quit.
A friend of mine who now lives in Colorado has been a life long smoker. Tried numerous times to quit and has not been able to. Big tobacco knows what they are doing just like big oil. It's all predicated on greed. With tobacco it comes at the cost of life.
Nice!
May I suggest St. Barts scooby. That way nobody has an agenda to hide, or anything else for that matter. LOL!!
Sorry scootergirl. I'll try to keep my venom on the CYGX bashers. Wrong forum to do a political thang.
Well scootergirl, here's hoping you get a Harley full dresser and that CYGX can help out getting it.
"Monday Monday, can't trust that day
Sometimes it just turns out that way"

OT: What President Bush did can be looked at in different ways. Opinions on this matter will vary.
Bush, sure didn't do it to help the little guys, that IS for sure.
Chadman, there was an aweful lot of buying when Cyto announced
their DNA purification, even some impressive buys when Cyto hung in the $0.90s and high %0.80s.
If CYGX comes out of these trails okay I think this stock is set to run. News will just be a matter of time and timing.
JMO
Rusty, even with the white knight coming to AURX rescue I find it disturbing that no large pharma/biotech pursued AURX
for its technology. It could be as in many cases that those large companies were unwilling to put the dinero out themselves while waiting for the smaller company to do the bulk of the leg work until late phase II or beginning of phase III.
There is one thing even CYGX topical cannot address concerning Herpes, and that is it's ability to
go "dormant" along nerve fibres in those hard to reach places.
The reason I like CYGX is the enormous potential not only for herpes, but for other dermatological conditions as well as sepsis and a whole host of other applications both animal and plant. Agriculture alone could really use a technology like ssDNA. Herpes topical is Cytos attempt at getting something to market. They don't expect IMO for it to be their flagship
product. In getting it to market they can prove that their technology is safe effective, and that they have the know how to get it approved. Big pharmas like that sort of thing. Sky is the limit after that.
This is still a high risk stock to invest in right now, but I like its chance right now. Large pharmas are aware of the work being done by CYGX. I know they are. I've talked to several people associated with large pharmas who know of Cytogenix. Almost every on of them said that CYGX was a very compelling story that one day may get to be told.
I think more than ever this company is in the right place at exactly the right time.
JMO though.
You obviously have some good contacts. Sorry I can came off somewhat flip yesterday.
Good luck to AuRx and good luck to us.
Thanks suky. Yes indeedy folks, it sounds like AURX is far from CYGX alright.
Hey Rusty, keep your freakin AuRx and rotate on it.
I'll stay with CytoGenix thank you.
No wonder it was so secretive. AURX needs mucho dinero.
And they grow there own DNA? Wow! Maybe they should sell
DNA too.
Rusty's getting testy. (EOM)
nearlynapping, thanks for keeping us informed about the trial. I'm outta here for a while. Have a good day people!
specul8, just having some fun with Rusty. Rusty and I go wayyyy back. I expect Bubbles and Chi_master to arrive on this thread at almost any time. Who knows, one or both could be here now as you know who.
Light volume today although it has picked up some from days past.
BTW, not that it matters but I am baby sitting Larry over on RB. It's not an easy job, but as they say, someone has to do it.
One thing for sure, someone(s) would love for the SP to drop as evidenced by the # of bashers we now have. A very good sign IMHO that good news is only a matter of time.
Whatever Rusty. One thing that private company does not have,
a way of making ultra purified DNA. Maybe they will be a paying customer of CYGX soon, unless they found a way of making the DNA too. Since you seem foggy about them I will assume that they have to go through the same hurdles as CYGX. Money will be one of those hurdles.
For the life of me I cannot understand why they would be so secretive. Can you give the name of one of the staff (major scientists involved)? Or is that a secret too? LOL!
scootergirl, MUCL has had a breakout of sorts. Nice.
Well so far Rusty I see drugs as potential topical treatments currently under investigation. Topicals include foscarnet cream and a topical gel of anti CMV drug cidofovir. One other which IS used for herpes eye infections is trifluridine which is also being researched for use on skin.
So far just drugs. No RNA or DNA found other than CYGX.
I'll keep googling. Silver Springs, Chevy Chase area.
Shake that tree Rusty. Some weak hands may fall out.(EOM)
Do you really think he will tell you? You're dreaming
if you think it. JMO
I really don't think he has much, if anything at all.
Again JMO.
Let's see if Rusty's mommy will let him play, shall we?

So Rusty, IF these clinicals by this "private company" are being performed overseas they will still have to go through intensive scrutiny in the US under FDA guidelines. Another
problem for this "private" company will be money to fund phase trials. Costs are enormous. Pfizer is probably lined up, right?
Yeah, right....
Lastly, if this "private" company is legit why do you need their permission to say who they are and what they do? Are they Iraqi insurgents? What are they trying to hide? Or rather, what are you trying to hide?
Just can't imagine what you're up to Rusty.
Specul8, doesn't it seem odd that all of these speculative/ basher types come out of the woodwork all at once? Almost like they are trying to drive the price down?
Glad Arnold found the licensing app for purified DNA. As MS
said in his 2004 rap up, purified DNA was the last thing on
CYGX's list of things to do. I believe it was #4.
Hhhhmmmmmm
Light volume. 4000 out of ~7500 traded so far, so that leaves
about 3000 and change. Nobody is buying and nobody is willing to sell. A wait and see for sure....... JMO
Hhhhmmmm
Still haven't gotten permission from mommy yet rusty?
Herpes, tooth decay causing bacteria, mRNA, reverse transcriptase??? Ring any bells in that empty head of yours rusty jones?
Did anyone notice the very light volume so far. What is up with that?
Rusty, you talked to someone at this company and you can't even get your facts straight. It isn't DNA they have. More than likely it is RNA. Secondly, I do know of a company that does tooth decay prevention using RNA. They are a private company. The upside is that it will virtually eliminate tooth
decay by destroying the bacteria that cause it. The downside is that people will become complacent when it comes to brushing and flossing. Gum desease will be on the increase.
Dentists will still be in demand. Even more so IMO.
I'll call me hygenist to get the name of the compaay, but they are no secret.
BTW, why the secrecy unless what you post isn't the truth and the whole truth so help you God.
You smell of desperation Rusty. Use some deodorant next time.
JMO
rusty, greed will get some folks in trouble. Pfizer is having difficulties with Viagra counterfits sold over the internet.
Was PP planning to use Indian jailbirds in test trials?
Just what was PP's plan? How did they propose to protect PIP
of CYGX? How did they plan on documenting trials? Was it in accordance with something CYGX could have used for the FDA?
These are some of the questions I have concerning PP.
Hope this company you talked with has success.
Maybe CYGX saw some trees in the forest they did not like.

Thanks Rick. Was unaware. (EOM)
Another student died from the flu in the Philly area which makes the total now 2. Bugs are getting more resistant to antibiotics.
Apologies to this board for my previous inappropriate postings.
Back to the business of CYGX!
Percy, you would bet anyone about the # of patent claims when you ARE a flat out LIAR? You wouldn't honor the bet, so why would anyone bet a LIAR to begin with.
And you have the balz to talk about how messed up this management team is pal? You had best look in the mirror as I told Larry to do.
BTW, I hope you paid cash for your "wife's" 300 Z.
Now that I have seen you for what you are I believe those
posts were not fixed to make you look bad. You just got BUSTED
bigtime, that's all. Again JMO.
Later, you on iggy BOY!

Larry and percy.... one in the same. JMO (EOM)
I don't care what you do percy. If you sold your entire position then you lied to this board. Your credibility
is ZIPPO! Your posts are worth what we pay for them.....
NOTHING!!
Goodbye genius. BTW, good luck with GNTA genius!!
Very sincerely,
CD_98
Hey now HANUMAN. I stand corrected. Don't know how that one got by me, but it did. Thank you VERY much.
BTW, I posted that I would LEVEL A BROADSIDE IF MS
screwed things up. It is obvious that MS actually did a great job in hiring Mssr. Berens who DOES have exerience in dealing with the FDA.
I'm happy. Color me idiot. And a happy one too!
CD_98
Did you read this post Larry. I admitted to this board that I am an IDIOT, and a HAPPY IDIOT too. YOu have my permission to post this on the RB Larry board. BTW Larry, some very teensey
steps these past few days with the stock price. YOu have some mighty small feet for a tall dude. )))))))
holycow, as per your post, many of the requests by the FDA
may turn out to be minor. It could also be that CYGX will
bet hit with another minor change when they go back to re-submit the IND application. My point is that one must have patience in these matters. Sometimes thse are the things that take time.
What I just posted will apply to any phase trials CYGX may go through. The FDA may be more forgiving in the case of preclinicals. Here's hoping they conform to cGMPs.
neo, "So if the IND committee presented the company with unexpected demands for additional testing, documentation, etc -- which I'm surmising from the way the PR was worded -- it'd be yet another example of poor decision-making by management, IMHO."
I agree with you about poor preparation by management if what you post is so. Even with FDA consultants, which is a good thing for CYGX, the FDA can be sticklers for the most inane stuff. Things that would make you go "what the???". VERY surprised that they have not hired a person in who either ran
a pharma/biotech or who was in the pharma business for years to help guide them too. Marshal, are you available???
It could come down to how things have been documented, logs, validation of methods and instruments, not enough information, testing insufficiencies (not enough raw data), SOPs, Job aids, etc, etc. Since many of the scientists employed by CYGX have worked in acedemia rather than in the pharmaceutical/biotech world and probably have little experience if any in CGMP I suspect that it is more along the lines of these things that may be holding the process up. If this is the case, I would love to ask MS
why they have not hired a pharmaceutical consultant familiar with what the FDA wants/needs. At the SHM I will be able to get a better feel for how they have or haven't prepared themselves for the FDA. It won't take long. Just a few questions.
That is why it is NOT a good idea to learn on the fly like MS
is paraphrased as saying. I sure hope he was not referring to the FDA when he said that. When it comes to this type of business, one cannot simply wing it. Now when it comes to criticizing managment for bumbling with this sort of thing I WILL LEVEL A BROADSIDE. No excuse for it. They should know better and if they don't know better, they had best get their collective butts in gear NOW. Not later. This part of the process is very serious business folks. Once the FDA sees discrepancies they sometimes knit pick at everything. Even to the point of missing countersignatures, dates, signatures, and the like.
start up developmental stage company. Definitely!
Sure they could sell their patents but what would that leave
investors. Nada! Other than their PIP they have nothing. No revs and no cash. They are a start up developmental stage company.
You can argue until you are blue in the face, but that is what they are. That is what you invested in. Like it or not.
By viable company I am talking about REVENUE GENERATING.
YES it is a 10 year old start up (developemental stage company). I suggest you check out Wave Systems if you are looking for longterm start up companies. They are like 15 to 20 years out. To even think CYGX is a viable company is INSANE. If one thinks this is so I suggest
that one should talk to his/her financial advisor SOON to a get a grip on reality.
This is a start up company and nothing more. Those who
ignore this fact may end up regretting it. It is not Merck.
It is not Pfizer. It is Cytogenix, still a developemental stage company, with good technology, but still a high risk investment no matter how one cuts it.
holycow, this post is not aimed at you in partular. It is just a reminder to those who may be under the impression
that this is a real company with real revenues. When the revenues start to come in to pay for additional R&D, IND apps, phase trial expenses, then I believe CYGX will be have won half the battle. Right now it is a battle to just to get to that point and I am very optimistic.
And yet another death due to influenza.

Boy Dies From Flu Complications
The 11-year-old Bala Cynwyd Middle School student died Monday and now the school is reaching out to concerned parents.
Letters were sent out to parents Tuesday, informing them of what happened.
School officials say it is an isolated incident and that parents should not be alarmed about a possible flu outbreak or epidemic.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health is recommending however that people who are in a high health risk category, those 55 and older, pregnant women, and the immuno-compromised, who have had social contact with student see their physician for preventive medication.
Counselors will be at the school Wednesday to help staff and students deal with the loss.
The Montgomery County School District is calling the child's death a tragedy and officials are offering their deepest condolences to the family.
A public forum for concerned parents will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Bala Cynwyd Middle School and health officials will be on hand to answer any questions.
To all: This is why some other maens of dealing with these "bugs" is so important. This guy was only 56 years old.

Doobie Brothers Drummer Knudsen Dies
By KIM CURTIS
Associated Press Writer
SAN FRANCISCO - Keith Knudsen, the longtime Doobie Brothers drummer who was part of the band during a string of hits that included "Taking it to the Streets" and "Black Water," died of pneumonia Tuesday. He was 56.
Knudsen had been hospitalized for more than a month, according to the band's longtime manager Bruce Cohn.
"I just saw him Sunday, just before the Super Bowl," Cohn said. "He was in good spirits. He was weak, but he was OK."
Knudsen began drumming in eighth grade and joined the Doobie Brothers in 1974. "After a week's rehearsal, I went on the road with the band," Knudsen said in his biography on the band's Web site.
The Doobies were known for incorporating gospel and jazz stylings into popular hit songs. They also were well-regarded for their live performances. Their other hits included "China Grove" and "Jesus is Just Alright."
Knudsen played with the Doobies until the band's 1982 farewell tour. During the band's hiatus, Knudsen and bandmate John McFee formed the country rock group Southern Pacific, which released four albums and had several hits.
He rejoined the band full-time in 1993.
"He's going to be missed," said Tom Johnston, the band's founder. "We're going to miss him on drums. I'm going to miss him as a buddy."
Knudsen, who lived in Sonoma County's wine country, had cancer in 1995 Johnston said.
"It left him weak and I don't think he ever fully regained all his strength," Johnston said.
He said the band was currently performing about 100 concerts a year and is scheduled to release a new album this summer.
