OT: Big tobacco also knew about the cancer risks going as far back as the 40's. Bill Moyers does an interesting program showing how tobacco made cigarettes more addictive by adding
more potent tobaccos that contained much more nicotine. The more nicotine the harder the hook for those trying to quit.

A friend of mine who now lives in Colorado has been a life long smoker. Tried numerous times to quit and has not been able to. Big tobacco knows what they are doing just like big oil. It's all predicated on greed. With tobacco it comes at the cost of life.
