They wanted to check it out for themselves - kind of like a "try/buy" - if they like the one then more will follow. The more will follow buys will justify if it is good. The leap to "it's the best" is a huge reach....
Anyone!
Great move today price over $10 - does anyone know what is happening.
Quarter is ending tomorrow - great quarter?
There is speculation of a buyout - any credence to that rumor?
Thank you
Dubi
Kind of surprised you were not able to get through. I am in the States and spoke to Daphna Golden in IR a couple of times at length on the phone and she replied to my emails timely as well.
Bottom line you measure investments whether money is made or not. I think this stock is about to pop - time will tell.

Wish you well - I do agree the company's IR/PR could be improved and they do not promote the company as well I would like but....
Bottom line if the company performs from a financial perspective and continues to profitably grow revenue - meet or exceed EPS guidance the stock will rise based on the low # of shares outstanding.
I will remain patient with this one - especially to wait for the Q3 results. If targets are met the stock will move with it.
Good luck

The stock sure lost the momentum from yesterday and has stalled. Oh well

I can read just fine - I think you type slow because that's what you do. Where you been man?
Hang in there - you sure do let your emotions get the best of you. Don't forget to keep your appointment with Dr Melfi!

Ya think - Profitable sales drives a company...
It's not rocket science as they say...
Time will tell
David
I think it will continue to move up tommorrow as many do not know of the news yet and there will be some momentum players and the promotion companies should grab the news and you'll get some daytraders...
No crystal ball here - high teens? If the company can followup with more news...
If the Army likes what they see there is the chance for add on business...
Time will tell
David OT
The stock is going to move up from this level IMO - the PR is actually very good news and your chance to take some off the table after the move up to allow you to sleep nights...
Good luck
Anyone?
Does anyone know the approximate revenue value of this win? Sales are always a a good thing....
NDakota
What company has the best upside at this point?
Neither...
Robo
I was replying to NDakota's message about VTSI and FATS being in the doldrums like those 2 companies mattered in this industry when they make up .01 % of this market.
Sanmina - big deal they announced a potential relationship if/when VTSI lands a contract which VTSI will need them to source, manufacture etc the product needed for them. Means nada without contract awards.
Opinions are opinions not certainties - like your post was facts?
The trend of the PPS from $.40 to $.11 is where the rubber meets the road and what the market thinks about the company's prospects and future...
NDakota
FATS and VTSI - 2 small BB companies - look at Lockheed Martin and L3 - that's the real big picture for this industry.
At the end of the day VTSI is a 2 bit player and FATS kicks their ass from a revenue standpoint but overall not a helluva lot better from a capital structure viewpoint.
"I have not seen many companies moving up in this field.% wise"
Sounds like both should be avoided. Why such a narrow view...
Doug
I don't what your background is or maybe you are a relative of L Kelly or the Kool Aid has taken effect but...
All the items you mentioned haven't meant anything close to financial progress also if I recall the Mexican deal was announced but delivery was far short of the original announce and was put on hold.
It is what it is and the price has gone from $.40 in 1/05 to $.11 in 9/05. All things considered on my report card I'd say Virtra is NOT doing ok.
If Virtra is is doing ok why is the stock price down 72% since January???
Kathy/Doug
With all due respect the price is not going down because of the convention. I do feel for you and Doug as it appears you do not understand the market and have attached the wagon to a non-performer.
The stock is going down because there have been little or no sales, continued loses, negative cash flow and negative net worth...
Good luck
David
Take this the right way but unfortunately you've been in the denial stage for quite some time...
Greg
I have been quiet too along with the company. Do you still own a couple hundred thousand shares?
Goldone OT Trout
Troutworld looks like he bailed too - still playing the pennys it seems "Break out Trading"

Sounds like Greg sold whatever position he had - he has been the mouthpiece for L Kelly on this board in the past
Weo 50?
Weo - I mean Nero - fiddling while you lose $$$ - take your blinders off.
50 yrs old - your tirades are more like a 5 yr old....
Barnabus
They are buying unfortunately just not from VTSI....
Ceres
So you still believe the company will be profitable for Q3?
Doug
If I recall you have a large open order at $.12 - you are about to get it filled...

From the 6/28 L Kelly email: "VirTra Systems has been very busy on all fronts, and we have much to discuss. Some projects have been delayed, while other new opportunities have arisen. However, we are unaware of any pending simulator sale where we have "lost out" to the competition. As we successfully install more and more simulators in the field, the interest in our products continues to grow. We have seen a rise in U.S military, international, and law enforcement interest. There are many pots on the stove. We anticipate the remainder of the summer to be quite successful."
Summer is over - looks like the powder got wet and the pots boiled over on the stove.
L Kelly time for some more excuses - the issue is even the most patient have heard it all before many times over...as they say the rubber meets the road and the results will speak for themselves. The expectation was the company would be operationally profitable for Q3.
Time will tell...
Paul
The con calls are pure lovefests. Amazing - it's only $$$$.
Barnabus/All
I couldn't have wrote it better myself -
"how the powder is dry and the ducks are lined up" - the best -L Kelly is now going to get out the Thesaurus and change the words...
Weo
What's that line? You can't handle the truth - for a 50 yr old you sure are cranky! lol
You take care
David OT
On the next pump (assuming there is one) and there's some good volume suggest you sell some into it...
Good luck
Jerry Long Gone
"It is with mixed feelings that I share with you last week's departure of Jerry Long from VirTra Systems, Jerry's vast experience gained from service in Viet Nam, stateside law enforcement work as a SWAT and narcotics interdiction officer, and his subsequent service in the intelligence side of our nation’s security efforts have afforded the company an unprecedented level of expertise and breadth of experience to develop our simulator scenarios. Unfortunately, it is precisely this experience our nation now needs in the global war on terror, and is why Jerry is now needed by our federal government. We hate to see him go, but we are honored to have closely worked with such a true American hero. We are extremely proud of a man who, even now, will return to action and will continue the fight to secure our freedom and make safer our troubled world. We wish him the very best in these endeavors.
Jerry, being the team player that he is, told of us several months ago of his pending call back to duty. Thus, we were not caught flat-footed, and this is why we brought Jeff Anderson on board several months ago to ensure a smooth transition as we continue to build quality and timely training scenarios for our military and law enforcement clients."
We were not caught FLAT FOOTED - lol - police term!
Ceres
Just trying to add some value to the board!
David OT
Just curious what is your breakeven # because over the last 6 mos you have been debating since Jan when it was $.40 and it has steadily dropped to the current level of $.13...
Hopefully you've taken some off the table during this time because it is going to be much harder for it to get back to $.40 than before...
Good luck
Paul
Ok they changed a few more words
You said: "The new release also includes new detail about the conversion kits (wireless/tetherless) and a great quote from the customer."
From the release:
"will take delivery in early December, upon completion of its new training facility."
Hey they can issue the third PR on this $140K sale when installed in Dec!!!
Sad....
Little or no news and the company announces the same news on 6/8/04 and 9/19/05??? I guess the only difference is the city in Georgia is disclosed. Two PRs for the same $140K that still won't be installed until hopefully December - Q4 revenue not Q3. "will take delivery in early December, upon completion of its new training facility."
I think they should have referred to it as previously announced verus making people think it is a new sale.

Same to you good minds think alike - I too added in the mid 8's and now will reap the move up.
The 2nd quarter was not that bad - revenue target exceeded and a one time expense which forced them to miss guidance by $.01 or $.02.
I firmly believe the new CFO is taking control and the company's guidance going forward will be more conservative. The Street does not like negative surprises only positive ones...
A $370M profitable company with only 35M shares outstanding. I love this stock and think it will continue to move up. There is some major accumulation going on. The large brokerage house ie Merrill Lynch and others are getting their clients in this stock and soon the Strong Buy recommendation will be issued.
Take care

The positive action continues - Over $10 today very nice move over the last 3 weeks. Some large accumulation - note some very successful mutual funds have positions in this stock. Fidelity Small Cap and Contrafund funds

Yeah you give good advice you hothead... like this to David -"Sirfelix, if I were you I would just sell your shares"
A message board does not affect the price of the stock - go the Yahoo GOOG board and there are shorters there everywhere and the stock is over $300.....

Greg would not question Kelly - this is another example....
This is not about relationships - Kelly does not care about Greg, Doug, Weeble Wooble, NDakota, Sir Felix(Doug) even Weo, etc - he appeases them so they do not sell and attempts them to invest in his company. It is amazing how he has them under a spell and they think he is some sort of god. In reality what has mgmt accomplished? This an investment and should be evaluated and I making or losing $$$ - period.
L Kelly is here to make $$$ just like everyone else - unfortunately things are not working out as he has planned. He has little or no experience in this market.
My guess is many feel the same way but for some reason they do have the conockers to question him and accept excuse after excuse and they are all against us mentality. Each con call is a love fest...
It's tough out there suck it up and grow the company or get someone who can!
All
"If EIS is doing so well, how come its representatives, after our press release, called Charleston PD and trash-talked little 'ol VTSI trying to dissuade them from buying our system?"
L Kelly give it a rest with they keep bad mouthing us. If you were IBM you'd be a target - your revenue is approx $1M/yr - people are scared of VTSI????
This IMHO is not an email a seasoned and good CEO would write - extemely juvenile and desparate.
