Jerry Long Gone

"It is with mixed feelings that I share with you last week's departure of Jerry Long from VirTra Systems, Jerry's vast experience gained from service in Viet Nam, stateside law enforcement work as a SWAT and narcotics interdiction officer, and his subsequent service in the intelligence side of our nation’s security efforts have afforded the company an unprecedented level of expertise and breadth of experience to develop our simulator scenarios. Unfortunately, it is precisely this experience our nation now needs in the global war on terror, and is why Jerry is now needed by our federal government. We hate to see him go, but we are honored to have closely worked with such a true American hero. We are extremely proud of a man who, even now, will return to action and will continue the fight to secure our freedom and make safer our troubled world. We wish him the very best in these endeavors.

Jerry, being the team player that he is, told of us several months ago of his pending call back to duty. Thus, we were not caught flat-footed, and this is why we brought Jeff Anderson on board several months ago to ensure a smooth transition as we continue to build quality and timely training scenarios for our military and law enforcement clients."
