Stock, the 10-Q should be comming out next week (last year it was on August 9). I think some forward looking statements will most probably be included in the 10-Q, which will give us a better idea about where MOBL is heading. Until then, all everyone can do is speculate, speculate, speculate.

Re: <<No news from our glorious leader Jay, and no one really knows what's happening. It just looks to me like everyone's sitting around waiting for some information so they can have some idea about what's going on and where the shareholders stand in this whole mess.
My question is, "how long are we willing to "stay tuned"?>>

A good start for some folks here:
http://www.marketresearch.com/browse.asp?categoryid=94
Or, simply, you can take the easy pass by looking into smaller segments of the telecom business (do a Google, and you'll have plenty of entries). For instance:
http://enterprise.siemens.com/open/us/opencommunications/openpath/default.aspx?utm_source=Google_US&...
Telecom has been experiencing some hard times as of late. But, its future looks better than that of many tech sectors. Read, learn, and make informed decisions.

With all due respect, some here behave worse than little cry babies. Their old solution: replace Mgmt; now, replace the MB moderators?
Do some of these folks really know what MOBL is all about? What parts of the business are left after the "deals" are consumed? What is the chance for a good fresh start? Why not all concentrating on puting tegether a realistic picture of the company's past, present, and future potential? You can start answering a simple question: Is it (as of now) the company in a better or worse position than it's been say on December 2003?
Enough said! Stop all these childish complains, and FGS start contributing with something of essence to this board.

7. Opinion: The "dark forces" might still play ping-pong with JUNI for a while, but not for too long, IMO. Reason for this assumption: after what happen as of late to some unexperienced traders (including this morning) the remaining shareholders hopefully learned their lesson. The same unseen forces will push it up in the very near future, IMO. At this point, JUNI is a very good MOMO candidate, IMO.
Disclossure: Have been buying myself lots of JUNI (as they say: Buy Juni in July - in fact, since late last week in my case), and waiting patiently for the MOMO reward, which should come, IMO.

DL, thanks for your E-mail. If you check my home MB, you'll learn I do specialize in what I perceive to be Good Value Penny Bottoms (GVPB), and (overal) it works very well. I also invest in larger caps, but only when I believe they are heavily undervalued.
I learned my lesson the hard way years ago, so I do not have anymore any favorite stocks. I deal with many GVPB's (on most of them I do not post any msg); as soon as I make a reasonable profit, I sell them. It's the ONLY good way!
I was indeed not aware EYII is one of the many of Cornell clents. Hence, as soon as I read your warning, I set a sell @ 0.0017 (some 28% profit), and got rid of them (yesterday, and the day before). However, in the mean time (after doing a deeper DD, and after today's PR) somehow (call it years of experience) I still feel the stock is way undervalued at today PPS, so I reloaded today @ 0.0011. I truly expect if nothing else at least a monkey-type MOMO jump here. Shall see!
In any event, at this price, I treat this as a high risk/high reward potential stock, so I intend to keep it for a while. As for "Angora" (has yet to check it out), or any implied conection with the CEO, I hope you were jocking.
Sorry for your loss here, I know how it feels. Been there years ago. If you indeed need to make some money you, and any other poster here, might wish to join me within the GVPB's board:

Reading a few of the posts here, it's amasing how little some of these "wise folks" posting here know about MOBL. Learning more about its past it's a must for anyone that wishes to understand the true potential here.
Cornell has indeed done lots of damage to MOBL short-term prospects, and this is something I'm blaming Jay for. He should have known better:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=%2BCornell%2C+%2BMOBL&btnG=Google+Sea...
But, is it the game lost? Certainly not! And, I bet Jay (still a young fellow) will not wish to have a failure of MOBL be written in his resume. Since 03, I exchanged numerous pivate notes with him, and I know he's a bright fellow. So, I believe he would try everything in his power to reverse the damage being done. To start with (for those that know how to read) his first priority is to get rid of Cornell. He's using now a delay tactic, that will minimize further dilution, until the company is able to write off Cornell. And, once "the deal" is done, I'm positive the first priority will be to pay them the remaining debt. Then, and only then, Jay and MOBL can figure out alternate ways for growth; and the chance that to happen is very good IMO.
This will be my last post here for a while for I have a better use of my time. Anyone that might wish to ask me a MOBL related question, you can find me at my home board:

***As "Chip" from one of the DVW boards will say: "Tempers are short" with some on this board.
Took advantage (again) of the drop today, cancelled some other good Buys, and used the last penny available to me to load my fair share of what I believe is a good deal that "our little ship" temper has made it possible.
Let me explain. For the sane veterans still with this stock, just remember that in Dec. 03 when we had a chance (as I did) to buy MOBL around 0.018 we thought (at least I did), that was a steal. And history has proven us right. Now, just compare the trully uncertain future of MOBL at that time, and I hope you'll all agree the company is in a much better shape now. Hence, today's price in my book is indeed a steal. Once Cornell is out of the picture, I believe I and some other veterans here will be again proven right.
One warning to some veterans though: If you had a chance to load at todays prices, and the PPS goes back close to its former value, SELL it. Been in and out of MOBL 4 times since 2003. Missed some opps initially myself, but ever since I first decided to do it I can't complain.
Prediction: Once Cornell is officially out (and I believe it will be very soon), MOBL will make a CNCN-type move (PPS increased 11 times) after they announced they got rid of this sick Hedge fund.
Good luck all,
mike306oh
Re: MOBL - QED - see previous post on MOBL.
Just loaded some more @0.0132 (I could have waited a bit longer, oh well...). Canceled another two other good buys (SSWM, andJUNI) and spend the last penny of my available funds on MOBL (after I filled my track over the last few days with EYII (many more shares than I usually load), MSTF (a steal @ 0.0045), and JUNI (cancelled the remaining of my order, but feel good with what I already loaded yesterday).
Mike
FYII was yesterday still (the 6-th day) on Buyins.net "Squeeze Trigger Report."
http://www.buyins.net/tools/symbol_stats.php?sym=eyii
One might still have the opp to load some cheap FYII shares today (unless some big buys will force DOMS and NITE to reverse to their squeezing).
Prediction: Next week this would fly. DOMS (the main culprit for the squeezing for the past several days) starting today increased its "Ask" to 0.005. I expect an easy 3 MOMO (from this morning levels), if not more, by the end of next week.
Disclossure: Loaded my boat today, in top of my small position (1M) I acquired yesterday and the day before. Looking forward to see how things evolve next week. Got a very good feeling it will go well.
As allways, do your own DD, and do not take anyones "advice" on what to do. No pain (a good DD), no gain!

Mike
OT: John, loaded about half of yesterday's volume thus far, and still have a few (to 1M) in my open order. Did you got some? If so, let's hope for the better.
The drop was brutal yesterday, and I see no reason for it. Unlike FYII which was on the SHO list for 5 days (including July 18), JUNI was off list for the last 145 days or so:
http://www.buyins.net/tools/symbol_stats.php?sym=juni
As you'll mention, buyinns.net talks gives the "Squeeze Trigger Report, which is the newest and most perverted form of naked shorting (which we all know is presumably ilegal for pennies). I suspect squeezing is done by some the MM's (e.g., DOMS) and or some other shady small "financial institutions," i.e., VFIN (which is bot a MM, and a pseudo financial institution). They simply force the price down (by selling small number of shares much below the rest of the crowd), while loading, prior to letting it go. I managed to beat DOMS several times yesterday both on JUNI, and MSTF.
Mike
OT: Graspointe, try:
Pennytalk.com
They claim they provide 2 cents/minute (?) worldwide. Not sure if Eastern Europe is included, so check it out.
If they do not provide it in the country you are calling, you can also try: 1-877-879-3133. I used them, and they have 5.9 cents/minute to 6.9 cents/minute (direct dial, no additional numbers to form, same rate 24/7), but again not sure if they deal with the country you call. They might know, however, some other small phone company that does.
Let me know how it went (I might find something else). My home board:

EYII, MSTF $ JUNI - Me think: Good Value (OTC:BB) Penny Bottoms (GVDB's). Just loaded myself today on these.
Specialized in GVPB's and doing well. Being away for a while, I'm talking to myself at GVPB's MB. I would like, after you all see how the three GVPB's I picked today are doing, it will be very nice some of you folks to at least take a look at that board. If you like it you are invited to join us at the GVPB's "poor men's club:"

MSTF - One more to look at, IMO. 0.0053 my bid, but Ameritrade (like many other times) is only posting 0.0052.
Mike
Re: JUNI - Trying to buy a good position of it. Only got 50K @ 0.0055 (new year low). Might have to increase it a bit. I like the prospects here.
Mike
Go to "periods" and push "weekly." You have it set on "daily." That will do the trick for you.
Mike
MOBL - keep an eye on it. W/o news it might go down again today, IMO. If so, it might be a good opp to load. Loaded some yesterday below 0.013, and I will load more if goes back to yesterday low levels, and even more should it go below 0.0125.
Mike
EYII - take a look at it. OTC:BB below 0.002. It look like it has reached the bottom.

Re:Re - PGSW. Oops, never mind! I was looking all over for an answer, when in fact it was readily available at PGSW's iHub board:

I know this board has many bright minds. Would any of you try to explain why PGSW with its good financials and low OS is in free fall?

It's worth a gamble at this point, IMO. Got filled some at EOD, and hope to get the rest tomorrow.
Mike
Rethorical question: would today's move open Jay's PR's bag tomorrow?
In any event, I got back in earlier today, during the first large drop, and ready for a lot more tomorrow if the silence continues.
Mike
Been in and out Covad twice, and COVD has been good to me each time. Looking again for an entry point. But, if I decide to jump in again, most probably that will only be after the Q release.
I'm looking at Yahoo financials. The net loss for the last Q was about $14.5MM, compared to about $13.5MM net loss for the whole 2006. The fact that the results will come out after the hours does not give me too much confidence this Q will be any better than the last one.

It's not the 10Q that will come out first, but the 10K (the annual report), and it will include the numbers for the 4th Q that ended in April.
Given that no news came out as of late, most probably we'll see again the usual NT. So, let's bank for mid August for the 10K to come out (last year, after the NT was posted at the end of July, the 10K came out August 17).
The 1-st Q results (for the Q ending in July) should come out about one month after the 10K (so, about mid Sept). While we already know the 10K won't be good (in fact it will be prety bad vs 2006), let's hope for a good 1-st Q, as Phil promissed in the last PR.
Mike
---------------------
"when is the Q going to be out ,would be nice to see good numbers.would someone like to be a assistant mod.?"
P/S (Price/Sales) is just 0.43 right now. Hence, way undervalued based (solely) on this indicator.
Let's see (according to Yahoo Finances):
Total Cash: 52.57M - Good
Total Cash Per Share (mrq): 1.022 - Prety good
Total Debt (mrq): 5.18B. If this is right, and given the bad (negative) net margins last Q, this by itself would explain the nastly PPS drop as of late.
Anyone heard of any BK news (even at the rumors level)? If so, given the huge debt, I would stay away from it. If not, and if the Yahoo debt figure is wrong, I wish to consider buying some at this price.
Should anyone else interested in an open discussion on this, let's start a brief "pros and cons" session. Anyone (especially the longs here) willing to start this chat?
TIA,
Mike
Tks, just saw the last 14A:
<< 2. To approve the Second Amendment to the Restated Articles of Incorporation to increase the authorized shares of Common Stock to forty billion (40,000,000,000) shares;
3. To approve the Third Amendment to the Restated Articles of Incorporation for a one-for-one hundred reverse split of our outstanding common stock without affecting the number of authorized shares of common stock;>>
I'll pass it.

Latest O/S pls. The info I found is 4.95 Billion shares out:

The PPS is tempting (just a small gamble). Before deciding to do it, however, does anyone know if the R/S possibility was ever raised by the company? I see they only had a 1:20 R/S in Dec. 96:

Hi everyone. I'm finally back from my extendeed business/pleasure oversea trip. I see no much activity here. After I catch up with things, I'll try reviving this board. Using GVPB's teachings, I was doing quite well since last year.
Mike
I guess we were typing at the same time. See my previous post.
Mike
Crashman, I take it back. My previous statement was solely based on the PR. Finally I got the chance to go through the 8-K, and this clarifies the deal:
<<MobilePro’s CLEC Division consists of the wholly-owned subsidiaries American Fiber Network, Inc. (AFN), CloseCall America, Inc. and the company’s ISP businesses including Inreach Internet and Nationwide Internet. The company expects the sale of the ISPs to close within 10 days. The sale of AFN and CloseCall, which are subject to obtaining required regulatory consents and other customary closing conditions, is expected to close in 90 to 120 days. Also, both the ISP sale and the sale of AFN and Closecall require the consent of Cornell Capital to release its lien on the assets being sold.
Jay Wright, chairman and CEO of MobilePro Corp., said, “This transaction, which represents the culmination of a sale process MobilePro has run over the past three months and saw us receive inquiries from more than a dozen companies and multiple acquisition proposals, allows us to become a preferred shareholder in USA Telephone, a privately held telecommunications company with, in my view, superior management and financial backers. It also would allow us, upon closing, to pay off our debt to Cornell Capital and focus our efforts on our other operating divisions. Through our preferred stock position, we will have the opportunity to continue to share in the upside growth opportunity of our CLEC business going forward.” >>
Opinion: No one (including myself) like to hear any company in ones portfolio starts selling parts of the business, especially the better part of it. But, to me, getting rid of Cornell will (business-like, and phsicologically) fully compensate for this. Hence, MOBL might have a future afterall.
Mike
Anyone has look it up? Any pros and cons for this deal? One thing for sure: Cornell is here to stay, and this might spell bad news for the PPS; at least for the near future. Then, depending on performance, things could improve.
Mike
-----------------------
"The purchase price for the businesses is $30.0 million, consisting of $21.9 million in cash and $8.1 million in convertible preferred stock of USA. The closing of the sales is subject to the consent of Cornell Capital Partners, LP (“Cornell”)."
OK Han, you'll get it in June. The rest of us will get 10-K in August, and 1-st Q 10-Q in September. Just check out the fillings history for the last three years in the site I posted in my previous Msg.
Talk to you folks in about 4 weeks.
Mike
True, the fiscal year ends April 30. However, as I said, the 10-K only comes out in August, and the 10-Q in September. Check it out:
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/filings.jsp?symbol=gdvi
Mike
You just have to have patience with it. Nothing will happen before the 10-K is out (last year it came out in mid August). We already know it will not be good (the 10-K, that is), but it should contain some forward looking statement on Q-1. If as good as the last PR stated it would, the PPS will move nicely, if not at that time most probably it would after the next 10-Q, which is supposed to be out in September.
Mike
LOL! Did you (finally) get in, or you just changed your mind: "look, triple bottom is around the corner. It looks like this time will touch .011 or even go below quickly before bounce back up."
Mike
