Thanks for the candid sharing of your conversation with EI IR.
I share in the cause for concern. We need definite results, which there are none at this point in time.
I agree with that analogy IKAG.
It would greatly enhance, IMO, shareholder views on integrity value with the companys they are invested in. Respect and integrity are earned. I'll leave it at that.
This is why they removed VLC from their website. 10K page 7.
Our license agreement with The Vatican Library Collection license agreement expired on June 30, 2008, and we are currently negotiating a new agreement with this licensor. Pursuant to a provision of the expired agreement (“Section 20.5 – Disposition of Inventory Upon Expiration”), there is a six month “sell-off” period after termination of the agreement wherein we as the licensee have the right to continue to sell any remaining stock that we have with the Vatican Library Collection logo. At this time, we have no urns and no caskets with this logo.
It's been expired for over 15 months now. First I knew of it was when the 10K was released on 6/10/09. Nearly a year after expiration and I've followed every EI bulletin, PR and shareholder letter since 2/2007.
So, if you take EI at its word, they're currently negotiating a new agreement with the VLC. How long? I would guess since mid 2008, but with EI'S vague communications that is pure speculation. To the best of my knowledge, we have not received any direct feedback with substance from EI on any progress concerning a VLC agreement.
The VLC line sure drew a lot of attention from investors at one time.
Hey Gator -
I combined the allowances and leases together in a previous post addressing my greivances.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=42335656
Lets enjoy the weekend. Maybe some shareholders persistence will change that policy in the future (common sense doesn't exactly prevail). I don't know when the leases expire and have no idea the intentions EI has after that. I do know, its a very clear sign of extravagance that isn't warranted and an arrogant abuse of funds.
Best to you Gator,
- Saratoga
NY Giants for week 5 please - Thanx S4J
Hi lawrenzo -
I gotta say, I wasn't very impressed with that update. There are many relevant questions/issues that need addressed. What kind of statement is "this is last time EI will address any action on our stock for a while". Other than selling/gifting of shares, I haven't seen any action from EI on their stock.
There was a CC in 2007. To the best of my knowledge it was the only one. I'm disappointed they didn't have a CC after the uplist was finalized.
I hope one day the time will arrive when vague answers are a thing of the past. You, I and all shareholders deserve substance and clarity to our concerns.
I tend to believe there won't be another reverse split, but then again, we have heard and been burnt by that before.
Thanks for your compliments. Don't worry, as long as I hold shares, I will continue to question and comment when I feel the need. We all should.
P.S. I turn beat red every time those car leases are mentioned. That kind of action greatly concerns me. What the heck kind of vehicle leases for $1800 per month? Whoops, I mean 2 for over $3000..... Priorities..priorities.... We have never heard, and I doubt ever will, an explanation on this one.
Take care lawrenzo,
- Saratoga
Hi Basser -
This time I didn't pose these questions directly to EI, but have asked them (IR) alot of similar inquiries in the past 2 3/4 years. Sometimes I get some answers, but most times they aren't very direct.
I have no doubt, IMO (safe-harbor LOL), they perused my last post. Believe me, I, and I'm sure others would love to get concrete answers to those and other questions.
Many have waited very patiently for EI's self-proclaimed pipelines of events to come to fruition. Bring on some direct results and show the merit needed for the company and its shareholders.
I still can't help to wonder what the heck ever happened with the CFA. We were told that they're working to resecure the VLC license and so close on CFA urns hitting the market, but still no cigar. ?????
May you, and those close to you, have a great weekend too Basser.

Hey EI -
How's that LOC coming along?
Are you (EI) working with Selective Development, Mastermind Venture Partners or some new selected group?
Whatever happened to the CFA product line? Release date? At least give a candid update on CFA status.
Break the tap on the "gamechanger". If it's solidly in the works, lets hear some details.
Have you (EI) reconsidered the vehicle allowances and > $3000.00 per month leases for two vehicles?
How's the future updated website coming along? The current one has been in need of dire attention for a ridiculous amount of time now. You (EI) can update for Twitter, but not have a correct current listing of officers? Show some dedicated professionalism and get this straightened out sooner rather than later.
Why didn't you (EI) release your current standing at 2009 NFDA to shareholders when it was decided upon? (pre May 2009 IMO) You (EI) only updated shareholders after it was discovered by one of them. Communications have improved, but that scenario doesn't exactly spew confidence. Not what was done, ie.. no booth, $150K etc.., but the transparency.
Good Day EI -
Saratoga
I would love to see ETNL jump to .03 or higher on a P&D (paid for by anyone)... IMO
I'd vanish faster than a fart in the wind..LOL
INDY please -- Thanx S4J
Maybe. Bulletin stated in the 4th quarter, so could be anytime during the quarter. We'll see frank.
Those car leases still burn me caseytrader. Extravagance at its finest.
I'm all for (like I have a choice) no booth or celebs/Star Trek actors. They went overboard in the past and surely don't have the capital for it now. Buckle down & Partner up is the best avenue at this stage.
EI is making strides along these lines, but their past actions still haunt them.
Hey lawrenzo -
I guess it did turn out to prophetic LOL. I still get email on removed posts.
I was doing DD on 09 NFDA and Eternal Image wasn't listed as an exhibitor ( as of May). First I thought WTF and marked it down as a mistake when I seen the floor plan with EI on it. Turns out the brochure was correct.
You think there is a chance the DD brought about the Twitter update? Just thinking out loud.
Here's a link to view a brochure (pdf) on 2009 NFDA

Here's another showing floor plan @ 2009 NFDA

EI booth is close to Batesville
My apologies to fellow posters for my prior post today. Fat-fingered the post and then got called away on an emergency.
Mea culpa - Saratoga
Good morning -
As of 5/6/2009 Eternal Image wasn't listed as an exhibitor at the 2009 NFDA convention.
Tried to copy/paste from pdf, but it didn't look right. That's the reason for the edit. Sorry
I'm sure they are now. Just found it odd.
Hopefully in the next few days we will find out more on the funding group EI is working with.
BTW.. Snapped a shot of Bee & LFM during their travels while on hiatus from ETNL board.
Week 3 - Philly please
Thank you
LOL - Enjoy your weekend frank69.
That's a strong possibility and is what I read into it. At least, they're beating the drum on funding (LOC).
Props to EI to keeping shareholders informed! They gave an explanation on the filing and (IMO) making strides in very much improved communications.
Hey Frank -
The Tweet said to a funding group.
New Tweet..
Form 4 to be filed tonight .. this was a one-time consulting fee to funding group .. paid from personal shares so as not to increase O/S
about 1 hour ago from web
You left out the LOC and "gamechanger". JK
I agree, small selling of shares by officers is no big deal. Straight sells, no questionable gifting of shares.
In fairness to all involved, the company in the past has set themselves up for scrutiny for events, statements, etc...that didn't come to fruition. Is it worth repeating everyday? Absolutely not, but it does hold relevance. EI is making strides on the shareholder forefront (full reporting, new ungagged TA in future --- hopefully LOC and gamechanging event), but for some trust must be rebuilt.
What some declare as bashers, or others pumpers, has no tangible effect on EI. (IMO) Just the perils and sometimes sanity of readers on stock boards.
Go ETNL -- Come on EI make it happen.
Hi Soulful Strength -
Give Tony (IR) a call. He can give you info on NFDA tickets.
BTW... Love the seafood in Beantown!!
Well stated caseytrader.
Just seen the update myself. Kudos to EI for the TA change. IMO they responded to shareholders requests on this matter.
They are also filed timely for Q2 . Good steps in the right direction.
.0069 on low volume.... Keep building and a give IKAG a birthday to remember
BTW.. Happy Birthday IKAG, SKAG & 2BCLEAR
Atlanta please.....thank you
Hence, as it was stated in IMHO.
Misleading is reality with ETNL/EI. One could interpret the cause/effect as mistakes. In that case I agree to disagree. The proof and verification is in the results.
Cheers Basser -- Have a good weekend and enjoy the west coast weather!!
I want success for ETNL as much as anyone, but IMHO, they have a solid track record in misleading investors. Yes, they're not the only company that has ever taken this approach, but EI is well versed just the same. With EI, I'm only concerned with them and no other company.
Though some may disagree, the way out of line projections, shoulds, etc....(past and present) are a very telling sign on their integrity. Of course, IMHO.
Right now it's the LOC, gamechanger....Well I think the point is made. I like EI on Amazon with their AKC products. One only knows the infinite delay with CFA.
I've seen a number of good investors make EI a distant memory due to their tactics.
Why the hiatus from ETNL board? Please PM or e-mail me. Thanx
Another great call on RBY IH.
As always, thanks for your efforts
Hey caseytrader -
I thought this was a good explanation on views and the business concerning ETNL. I certainly didn't see any malice in it.
Thanks for the compliment.
Saratoga
Come on ETNL !!!!
Sounds like someone pushed the Basser button
Scottrade shows the same after hours - not when the market is open.
Sure would be better if it was actual bid/ask. LOL
Market Maker ploy? Pretty steep for a shareholder.
Al - Does your trading forum have ETNL bid OTC and ask Pink?
Thanks - Go Navy
Good day everyone:
I have Scottrade, with ETNL, the bid is OTC and the ask is Pinks. It's been this way for at least six weeks.
Do the other trading forums show the same?
It may seem trivial, but I would like to know why.
I hope that's a good BWAHAHAHA. LMAO
Yes, I wish David would have had that chance. IMO...David is the best thing going for EI.
Fewer are falling for the prospective jargon from EI. (see my previous post 5*)
It's coming from one of two sources IMO... Not EI officers this time around. I would hedge that EI knows though.
Sorry my cyber friend, I don't want to add years. Coming close to three now. I'm not exactly a flipper, you should have picked this up by now. Correct?
JMO... and probably others - Would like to see events completed. Less of prospective LOC, gamechanger, etc..... This approach has run its course.
NFDA soon. Another big show (which is needed). The last two were heralded as "hitting the jackpot" and "casket sellout", but sales were dismal for Q2. I have all due respect for David, but EI should step up and produce results in his absence. I would be busting my rear for success, 24/7 if needed, I don't feel EI is.
Another grand day for ETNL shareholders.
More assurances from EI and a continuing plunge of the PPS.
