sneak, nice find, I've always believed that the JDZ..
was an extension of the AKPO field, in Block 246. STP was successfully granted an oil stipend from Nigeria, because Block 246 encroached on the JDZ territorial waters.
What's interesting in this article, is that the gas in AKPO, will be sold in LNG form to the US and Europe....so it appears that the JDZ gas may have an outlet for commercialization.
Afterall AKPO is but a stones throw away @ 20km....thats probably the turning radius for some of these huge tanker type vessels...

BB...that's a pretty good Fairy Tale....
Oilphant has never been correct about anything, as far as I can remember. What exactly is Oilphants credentials, exactly?
Why didn't the JDA/JMC know about all these wells that were drilled?...they never released News about it.
Sounds like a few SEC rules may have been broken (according to Oilphant)..also.
Drill Baby Drill.....
spp119...that said, your imput is very much appreciated....
and thank you for all you do.
spp119...IT IS RUMOR....
that is not to say anything against you!...maybe you are not getting the exact facts, maybe you are...That is what rumors are!
Can it be verified, by the board..NO...it is thus a rumor!
Sounds like a rumor to me, especially since.....
we seemed to be moving up in late trading today. Like Nick says "Nobody knows Nuttin"
From what I'm reading blowouts are pretty rare these days, if the BOP was done correctly.....then again to say it was "fixed" could actually be good news, if the damage was minimal and the excess pressure was relieved.
Under the gas cap is the earl!....
BWTHDIK
If blocks 2,3,and 4.....
hold no oil, then they just might as well, take all their so called high falutin technology, and whizzbang 3D analysis, and high dollar geologists, and throw them all in a dumpster.

Akpo is pumping 225,000 Barrels per day, from...
about 30+ wells,...no well is stand alone, but with manifolds and subsea development, linking them in a system of underwater flexible piping,.... Akpo is a monster elephant.
Same happens here in the JDZ,..imo
Maybe JCG sold at a very good price.....
and the Chinese paid Top $$$$ for the Deepwater African assets? It seems the Iraq/Kurdish properties may be worthless if the fighting and Political strife continue in that region.
The $10+ billion (including the debt)....may have been based mainly on the JDZ properties, in which case the price would have been at a handsome premium.

Ok, RUBY1100, was your post a guess, hope,an opinion.....
or do you know something about a $2-4 deal concerning ERHE, and how good is your source?
The bigger question is why would China buy ERHE....
especially before they know what amount of oil is there, and what would they pay for it?
Once China knows there is Sweet Light Crude in....
commercial quantities, then ERHE is sold!, China is starving for this type of oil, it will see them thru until they can build additional refinery capacity that can handle Mid Eastern Sour Crude...imo
Carrying ERHE just doesn't jive with China's, spending its USA $$$, for assets around the globe.
A Salute to the drillers and crews who will be working this holiday weekend 24/7....thanks, and hit us a monster!
NITE fell to .70......
Oh, mighty Oil gods, we have sacrificed.....
Joe Shea at your alter, as an appeasement to your powers, grant us an Elephant or two!...thy mighty and powerful gods.
You can't rely on stops in OTCBB land...
you will get wiped out fast!...if you can't track LII, constantly, and see every trade, then you don't belong in the OTCBB's daytrading.
Some poor fool with a stop loss, probably caused the trading today. They probably had a stop in at about .68...and the MM's tripped it, and dragged it down to .60 real quick, and excuted it.
Mental stops require an incredible amount of discipline,....most people can't handle it.

It wasn't any of the longs, selling down there...
that much you can bet on!...Daytrading is a zero sum game,...you make your money off other daytraders. So the traders ripped each other apart!....it happens!

I'm an ERHEaholic, and its been 30 days since....
my last purchase of ERHE shares.....
princeton....ERHE is a fully reporting USA company...
headquartered in Houston Texas, and incorporated in state of Colorado. It's officer's share holding are not gigantic, restricted, and would require SEC filings to sell....presently none have done so....not that it would make much of a dump as you call it.
And Addax is about as prepared as they can be...em
by God that is Nick....lol,lol...em
brez...if the deal is fair to the common shareholders...
then it will certainly be accepted. However if it is geared to grossly favor SEO, at the common shareholders expense, then it will fail....and legally challenged.
I truly doubt SEO or ERHE want anymore problems with the SEC!...afterall, AXC is not governed by USA stock laws, or Colorado State Corporate law.
ERHE is governed by US law, and SEO must act accordingly....I believe any deal will be good for all, because SEO, doesn't need to cheat the common shareholder to make out like a bandit.
These conspiracy theories, where SEO rips everybody off and goes laughing all the way to the bank....ain't happening!
jmho
It will take a 2/3 majority vote to change the....
ownership structure of ERHE. SEO only owns 43%, and FAB another 8%. SEO still needs another 15% to vote in his camp, to achieve a 2/3 majority.
If the ownership change, has favorable terms singled out specifically for SEO,..as part of the deal to entice him to vote in favor of the change of ownership....then it can be challenged that SEO voting shares be exempt from participating in the vote, because of a conflict of interest.
At the very least, a legal challenge, can delay the proceeding, and discourage the suitor from proceeding.
kownski...here is the photo of the 36" pipe....
being loaded on the tug to be carried out to the drillship.
The operator of Joint Development Zone Block 4, Addax Petroleum, has provided ERHC with this photo of operations at the company's shore base in Onne Port in Nigeria. The picture load out of the 36 inch conductor. As of a few days ago, the Deepwater Pathfinder was in the process of leaving for Equatorial Guinea where it will undergo a survey of its hull. The plan was for Addax's work boats to rendezvous with the Deepwater Pathfinder along its journey to off load materials so operations can commence immediately upon its arrival in Block 4 in the next week or so.
