I had to call in order to Etrade...no fill at $.0525
I spoke with Richard this afternoon. I verified that TRGD will get the Raven 2 for 1 split. As to the 2005 filings he is just as frustrated as many of us. They had a confernce call Mon with the auditors (I assume Rich, CA auditor and Mexican auditor) and there were 5 small questions in the audit that needed answering and they were answered. Then the auditor said fine, that should do it, and they should be done in a couple of weeks. Rich said he hit the roof and told the auditor he wanted them in days not weeks. It's showing that these guys bill by the hour and want to stretch it out. I asked if it was time to find another auditor for 06 and Rich said that there wasn't really anyone else (he has been thru several) and that 06 would be relatively simple working off the 05 template. Somehow I feel we are missing some of the gold bull run with this delay, but Rich is committed to getting it done NOW, ASAP, etc

Going Public, Chinese Style
To get listed overseas, companies are getting U.S.-traded outfits to buy them
Slide Show >>Big-ticket IPOs in New York and Hong Kong for Chinese banks and insurance companies make headlines. But in recent years another class of Chinese company has been quietly tapping the international capital markets. Enterprises that don't have the heft or profits for a splashy initial public offering are finding they can get a coveted overseas listing through a reverse merger.
Here's how it works. The Chinese business is typically acquired by a U.S. shell company that is worthless, except for one thing: It's publicly traded. The American board then resigns, the Chinese board takes over, changes the company's name, and issues new stock to hedge funds and other new investors, raising millions of dollars in fresh capital. One example: Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (SVA ), a respected Beijing-based maker of vaccines, executed a reverse merger in 2003 and subsequently raised $12 million.
For more and more Chinese companies, a reverse merger is faster and less onerous than an IPO. Sometimes the process takes as little as a few months, says Peter D. Zhou, managing director of American Union Securities Inc., a New York firm that has helped broker 10 such deals since 2005 and is currently working on another nine. One is the pending takeover by Carson City (Nev.)-based Ticketcart Inc. (TKTC ), a defunct online retailer of printer cartridges, of Tieli Xiaoxinganlin Frog Breeding Co., which markets nutritional supplements made from Chinese forest frogs. All told, some 150 Chinese companies have taken the reverse-merger route since 2005. "The Chinese are realizing that there's a lot of money here," says Zhou.
Many in the financial world aren't happy about the popularity of these takeovers. Something few Chinese executives consider is that Americans generally shun such shells, as they typically trade over the counter, says Neil A. Torpey, a Hong Kong-based partner with law firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. "Nobody follows them, there's no market in the shares," he says. "So after having gone through a lot of time and expense and effort, the underlying purposes aren't realized."
So why do Chinese companies bother? One reason is simple: They have few other options. Small companies in the country's rust belt or in industries that aren't sexy are unlikely to draw the interest of the venture capital and private equity investors swarming over China. Plus there's a two-year wait for a listing on the booming Shanghai or Shenzhen stock exchanges. "If a U.S. financier says I can get you public in two months,' that's a pretty good pitch," says one American hedge-fund manager who wants to remain anonymous because he has invested in a Chinese company that executed a reverse merger.
Another reason Chinese companies favor these deals is that there's less interference from investors. Reverse mergers are usually followed up with a private placement. The hedge funds that typically buy these shares are content to allow management to continue operating unfettered, whereas private-equity outfits would typically demand a greater say in decision making, along with board seats.
Some Chinese companies involved in such deals have, however, found themselves in legal trouble. Fertilizer maker Bodisen Biotech Inc. (BBC ) and now-defunct China Energy Savings Technology Inc. face shareholder class actions alleging improper disclosure.
Still, investors argue there's nothing fundamentally disreputable about reverse mergers. Some well-known Chinese companies, such as Sinovac and Shenzhen-based battery maker China BAK Battery Inc. (CBAK ), have graduated from the OTC market to the American Stock Exchange or NASDAQ. "As we see more of them grow to multimillion market caps, there is more research, more liquidity in the stocks," says Mark Fleishhauer, Hong Kong-based portfolio manager at Jayhawk Capital Management, a hedge fund that invested in 11 reverse mergers in 2005, including BAK Battery.
But even fans of the reverse-merger option recognize its shortcomings. With estimated annual revenues of $15.4 million in 2006, Sinovac would probably not need to take the reverse-merger route today. Says Helen G. Yang, Sinovac's international business manager: "If we wanted to list now, an IPO would be a better choice."
Obviously you will never quit whinning. You seem to look at things half empty rather than half full. Your last few posts denigrated or questioned the Sacks deal and now you have a PR. They are showing progress and potential with each PR...what do you want....a free Tshirt?

One of the key players in this group is Brent Pierce, who has become a stock market leper. In 1993, he admitted diverting proceeds of the initial public offering of a Vancouver Stock Exchange company called Bu-Max Gold Corp. As a result, he was prohibited from trading shares or acting as a director or officer of any B.C. reporting issuer for 15 years, a suspension which is still in effect.
Pierce controls two private Zurich-based companies, Newport Capital Corp. and International Market Trend AG, which perform investor relations services for bulletin board companies. For his services, Pierce usually gets options to buy hundreds of thousands of relatively cheap shares.
Pierce helped promote Lexington's share price to a high of $1.60 US last May, but it has since slumped to 24 cents. Morgan Creek similarly climbed to a high of $5.40 last October, but is now trading at 87 cents. Genemax, a biomedical disaster, soared to $18.80 in 2002 and is now trading at a mere 18 cents.
Pierce is also helping to promote Uranium Energy, which has rocketed from $1.25 US to the $6 level in the past four months, and Geneva Gold, which has levitated from pennies to the $3 level in the same period. But if history repeats itself, they, too, will only momentarily light up the skyline.
Another key player in this group is Pierce's long-time associate, Grant Atkins. In 1993, they teamed up to promote Cost Miser Coupons (International) Ltd., which planned to feature missing children on cash register tapes. VSE officials halted trading when they learned that Pierce, then under investigation for the Bu-Max affair, was involved in Cost Miser.
In 1996, Atkins and Pierce were linked to another murky deal. RCMP alleged in a search warrant that they had manipulated the shares of an Alberta Stock Exchange company called Ultra Pure Water Systems (Canada) Inc. through offshore accounts. No charges were ever laid.
Atkins has served as a director of Lexington, Uranium Energy, Morgan Creek and Genemax. He does not show up in any of Geneva's disclosure documents, but with Pierce on the scene, it is a fair bet that Atkins is not far behind.
Another dubious member of this promotional group is Vancouver chartered accountant Stephen Jewett. In October 1993, the Chartered Accountants Institute of B.C. barred Jewett from auditing the books of any company after he audited statements for VSE-listed Axagon Resources Ltd. that turned out to be materially false.
Jewett also popped up in the Bu-Max affair. Pierce gave commission investigators financial statements that were purportedly prepared and audited by Jewett.
Jewett swore he didn't prepare or audit them. At a minimum, he would have been aware of Pierce's central role in the Bu-Max scandal and his stock market ban.
Jewett is, or was, a director of Lexington, Uranium Energy, Morgan Creek, Genemax and Geneva.
Like a floating crap game, there are many other people who have flitted in and out of some or all of these deals, including Marcus Johnson, Bruce Horton, Brad Scharfe, Alex Cox, Alan Lindsay, Doug Humphreys, and a slew of private companies domiciled in offshore tax and secrecy havens.

I asked if there were other projects on hand and he was not aware of any, but I am sure they would not have opened an office in CONN for the hell of it. Destiny Announces Launch of Clipstream Streaming Video Software
Thursday February 22, 12:15 am ET
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Destiny Media Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: DSNY - News) is pleased to announce the launch of Clipstream Version 3 (http://www.clipstream.com). Under development for two years, this next generation software is the best solution for reaching the largest audience simply and securely.
Clipstream is unique in that content owners don't need to buy custom streaming hardware or server software. The video is simply uploaded to an existing website and linked into the page. Site visitors are not required to download or install player software as the video starts instantly and seamlessly. Because the technology is Java based, it works on every operating system that supports Java including 98% of computer users. PDA and cell phone support is expected to be announced next quarter.
Comments Destiny CEO, Steve Vestergaard "Video has become the must have communication tool on the Internet. Now that the majority of the hundreds of millions of Internet users have broadband, they are demanding higher quality video streaming. Clipstream(tm) meets the needs of these more discerning online viewers, while providing a great experience for modem users."
The new proprietary video codec features the ability to scale to full screen at up to thirty frames per second. The dynamic compression technology allows every user to access the video, even at lower bitrates. The technology automatically detects the users' CPU and connection speed and automatically delivers the highest possible video quality. Even at low bitrates and modem speeds, the codec provides a quality user experience.
Other enhancements make the video more convenient for users. Playback can be controlled by keyboard and volume controls for the high fidelity stereo audio are built into the applet menu.
Clipstream(tm) is the safest solution since there is no player that could potentially put a computer at risk. In addition, content owners can lock valuable content to authorized domains using the optional security package.
Competing video solutions require a buffer to fill before video content can be viewed. With Clipstream(tm), users can instantly seek to any point in the video without waiting for the entire video to download. There is no maximum size to a Clipstream(tm) video, so a user could seek to the last five minutes of a two hour movie without waiting for a long download. Because Clipstream(tm) only downloads what is actually viewed and because it is compatible with caching infrastructure, it is the most economical solution for sites that use large amounts of bandwidth.
Clipstream(tm) is the most customizable solution, with extensive lists of features that can be controlled by parameters. Optionally, Javascript can used to link videos together or to create sophisticated interactions with the user or other components on the web page. Because Clipstream(tm) videos are web objects, they can be stored in a database to be used to create dynamically generated web content.
According to Destiny VP Operations, John Gammack, the new version is expected to generate strong revenue growth for the company next quarter. "We don't limit the maximum number of simultaneous viewers the way other solutions do. We've designed a flexible pricing structure that enables customers to buy by the clip, by the site domain or by a period of time. Existing Clipstream(tm) users will be able to upgrade to the new version at a reasonable cost."

Thanks ced and df. I bought a bunch the other day at near the high I guess and then I averaged down and hope it works back up to my average. A little buyers remorse this am for buying so much before doing a little more DD
TRNP has about 8mm shares of NXNO (75% of 11mm) or $1.6mm value based on $.20 for NXNO stock. IBOX says there are 26mm shares OS of TRNP. We also have a small interest in the Hilton resort in FL thru EMGC valued I guess near $900k. How many shares of EMGC do we have. What else makes up this company or is it basicillly riding NXNO's coat tails?
nice rebound so far today. I hope it portends that 2005 filings are near, not that they will be pretty, but at least headed into fully reporting status soon with Qs for 06 following 05s, as most of the hard accounting is in the 05 filings. Glad it didn't go sub-dollar!

"This gives us the perfect vehicle to launch our aggressive plans to quickly become a major player in the auction arena and the automotive marketplace," said Steve "Junior" Sample, the Company's CEO. "With Tony Moorby in the driver's seat as President of the Company, we will endeavor to replicate the Anglo-American Auto Auctions model, which later became ADT Automotive. Tony was directly instrumental in taking that organization from one single auto auction to 28 auctions in a short time and then, as President and CEO of ADT Automotive, he oversaw its sale to Manheim for $1,000,000,000 cash in 2000." Sample continued: "I was fortunate enough to be in Tony's organization for ten years during that period, saw first-hand what he can do, and firmly believe he is the very finest executive in the industry today. He was Acacia's number one choice for that role, and we consider it a coup that he's with us today. We think it's possible to form another management group similar to the one ADT Automotive had, and that is exactly what we hope to accomplish with Acacia and Tony. We could not be more pleased!"
Moorby concludes: "This is an exciting time to be around the automotive auction business because of its many changes, and I've always maintained that there are opportunities where changes exist. Whilst the fundamentals remain the same, technology has become an enormous enabler for service companies to excel. Junior and I are very like-minded people and I'm looking forward to helping create a new group of auctions that can act in harmony on behalf of the employees and customers alike. He has done a superb job in structuring a company that is now ready to be fully funded and start acquiring auctions." The Company hopes to complete its initial fundraising within approximately 60 days.
Moving its headquarters to Nashville, Tennessee, in early 2007, Acacia Automotive will be more centrally located to better accommodate commerce throughout the United States.
About Acacia Automotive, Inc.
Acacia Automotive (www.acacia.bz) is the newest member of the auto auction industry, but comes with seasoned veterans in management. Acacia's management believes there were once three companies in balance that provided the industry's clients with a solid stance and fair choice. That balance was destroyed when one leg was eliminated with the sale and subsequent absorption of ADT Automotive in 2000.
