I don't think we even have that role anymore...match the info to the chart in the ibox...
that was part of a discussion related to energy....you might want to read the entire thread before picking out one post
where's the ownership for LLEG shareholders?
with 2.4bil shares outstanding you better have more than a project management involvement in a company...
neither of those categories get deleted. I delete by the site rules. Not up to me to change them.

could be anyone here tonight including any of us, the mod squad or the ihub adm...we all float around
in the photo with MB and Hillary did MB meet with Hillary relating to business or buy a photo op with her via contributions
http://laidlawenergy.com/biomass-faqs.html
again that's community data and until MB clears up whether LLEG shareholders own a stake in the Berlin Biomass plant it looks like we're stuck in a project management company
who is the owner referenced here?
"From the perspective
of the project it greatly simplifi es
the ownership structure so there is one
owner"
http://www.laconiadailysun.com/BerlinPDF/2010/8/20B.pdf
unfortunately this isn't a community board for Berlin. It's a stock board on Ihub for LLEG, one of many being discussed on this site.
Did they ever intend to operate a biomass plant under LLEG or just for themselves
http://www.laconiadailysun.com/BerlinPDF/2010/8/20B.pdf
"Our goal in Berlin as the
project’s sponsor has been to assemble
and manage all of the components to
make it a successful project. Specifi -
cally, acquiring the property, assembling
the project team, arranging
development fi nancing, arranging for
permits, negotiating and executing
the PPA and other key contracts and
positioning the project for construction
fi nancing. We have accomplished
almost all of our objectives and hopefully
once the permitting process is
complete we will be able to promptly
complete the construction fi nancing
and achieve our goal to commence
construction by the end of the year.
At that point the EPC contractor and
LAIDLAW from page 6 those charged with overseeing construction
have a much larger role and
it makes sense for us to take a back
seat and focus our efforts elsewhere."

Not me.
it's tempting to buy but that project mgnt vs. operator of the business has a far spread for me right now. The question is do I risk more because right now for me it would be a major risk compared to what it was prior to this week when I thought clearly we were heading toward
"Laidlaw Energy's mission is to build and manage a profitable portfolio of biomass facilities through the development of new facilities and acquisition of existing facilities, and in so doing become the leading supplier of biomass power in the United States."
http://www.laidlawenergy.com/images/LLEG%20news%20release%2010-19-09.pdf
and not the cloudy information we've been see this week
I feel the same way...the first set of unclear data hit and the upward movement stopped. Were they related? Now we have a second set of data and the pps further deteriorates. Are they related?
there's 2 flaws in that analysis...the pps represents the entire value of the company not the sale of one item
there was no mention of writeoffs (if any) against a sold division bringing the sales price down to something different or significantly different
Accounting Principles 101 plays a big role in the reporting of any company's $$$ transactions received, sold, gain, loss
I don't intend to sell until he clarifies. That's the risk side for me.
he needs to clarify this to shareholders....the pps is suffering right now from these 2 very cloudy informational sources this week...0019/0021
would you then deduct those from your $50mil est sales price?
straight from their PR release in 10/2009 "Laidlaw Energy's mission is to build and manage a profitable portfolio of biomass facilities through the development of new facilities and acquisition of existing facilities, and in so doing become the leading supplier of biomass power in the United States."
http://www.laidlawenergy.com/images/LLEG%20news%20release%2010-19-09.pdf
"Is no one taking the time to do the math here? "
share structure of company?
expenses deducted from this amount?
no and since Apple is in the business of making product that yields sales $$$'s if a div is being sold it would appear to give perception of not contributing to the main goal which leads us to say here if our position is being sold (if that's true) and this is not a sale/leaseback then what other product does MB have to offer to shareholders.....this leads to a lot of questions about the PR's that have been put out in the past and what lead shareholders to buy into this company
clarification is needed from MB
"For 2 years, LLEG owned 37.5% of LBB.
Now, LLEG sold its 37.5% portion of LBB for cash. This cash will be used to further fund LLEG's (Your investment) future growth. A company's goal is to make money. LLEG just did that by selling its equity share to a ~1.5 BILLION dollar 20 year deal."
where does the 1.5bil come from?
what do you est they will get in gross proceeds from this?
but again the key question is do we still have ownership in the operation of it where he mentioned he remains as CEO or is that part over
while I agree charts are good the fact that we are knee deep in facts on this company and the pps went up based on anticipation of the upcoming events the pps is now reflecting a week of very unsettling public information that has not been cleared up by MB...
we have no clue since it's not a reporting company how much money would be owed to MB for back salaries if any (and the others involved) there's a significant amount of possibilities that could reduce any sales price substantially for the common shareholders....
expenses would be deducted
if any preferred shares there
any convertible shares
what % of the sales price goes to LLEG shareholders (in other words what % of interest did LLEG shareholders own in the project)
these are questions MB needs to clarify
steady selloff @ 0023...looks like. I don't plan on selling but this needs to be clarified. I feel like we hold a wastebasket of shredded paper right now and not the business the shredded paper came from. MB needs to clarify.
and even if that were a true figure what % did LLEG own of it?
"We do not know details yet, but it sounds like its going to be a nice, profitable year for LLEG. "
define how you conclude this? what expenses would be attached to the sale of the equity before we get to the bottom line?
MB needs to clarify here......are LLEG shareholders out of the Berlin project? What is the NET PROCEEDS if this materializes and that's true? What is the share structure of LLEG that could possibly benefit from this sale if we aren't involved any further? There's a significant difference between receiving revenues as shareholders of a biomass plant and finding out after the company we invested in is just a project management company
MB needs to clear this up for shareholders....do shareholders own any of this plant in Berlin's revenues
when more shares go off at the bid most folks view it as 'sales' (0023). Do you have level II? it's the only way you can get a clear picture of the volume transactions
what difference does it make until we get a clear definition of what LLEG shareholders own in these transactions. MB needs to clarify if we should expect any ownership in this company or he was just a project manager which is a much reduced role in my mind LOL!
it appears to be impacting shareholder value negatively at this point if you look at the pps tumbling more....
when a corporation is setup there's generally a defined distribution of shares (ownership)....example my nephews company was set up you defined the % of share distribution in his case it was 100% but it could be some other definition. This is a private company
we dont' know the complete share structure...there could be preferred shares in there which are separate from common
depends on the role.....
there's an owner of the project
there's an operational group of the project (these could be one and the same)
if LLEG Laidlaw is in neither of those groups then the only
other role I can see is they sold the shareholders (LLEG) portion and we're done with this
I noticed MBB said he was going to continue to be CEO
"CEO Michael Bartoszek
described it as a sale of his
company’s equity interest and said he
will remain CEO and both Lou Bravakis
and Ray Kusche will remain in
their capacities as well."
http://www.laconiadailysun.com/BerlinPDF/2010/8/20B.pdf
does that include or exclude LLEG shareholders
that's the core of the issue for us right now and it needs to be explained
his article coming out prior to explanation to shareholders could be the reason the stock is tanking right now. I'd like to see him come out and clear this up before shareholders suffer any further damage from this
could be he's moving on to other things while the project is being developed but I agree with you there's clarification needed for this article and since he made his activities public he needs to be clear to shareholders what the Berlin power plant has to do or not do with stock symbol LLEG anymore, specifically when it is up and running (if approved) do LLEG shareholders have a stake in it.
there's one very clear question here.....is MB is project manager (Laidlaw LLEG) and Laidlaw (LLEG) a project facilitator and there never was any intention for LLEG shareholders to be part of the operation revenues from this plant or are they still part.
Nothing else matters.
folks here's MB's most recent post. Post your questions directly to him so we get answers and clarification for this article. We can guess forever. The only one who has the knowledge of this is MB
