Ha, that does make zero sense, other than to expose how little trust one should put into the info provided in the reports.
Yep, you are likely right . . . just cut/paste BS to make it all sound real
If it was stated in March, then that is not what is referred to in the Q2 report, right? April-June is what should be covered for Q2
It appears you are viewing and have summarized the situation, although perhaps it is not simply that "No one according to the SP thinks there is any mineable gold." but rather According to the SP either no one thinks there is any mineable gold, or no one seeing value is willing to work within the framework of the current ownership/management.
Yes, "the current" whole story for delays during Q2.
I still do not find any prior direct statement / admission the the unit was broken and needed to be repaired.
Granted, reading between the lines of previous information released I was only able to find a sensible explanation based on the unit either not working at all or not working as intended/desired/hoped.
But as far as I recall, from having read everything released, this is the first time we are "told" that the unit was broken or otherwise non-functional such that it needed repair.
One would think that would be deemed "material information" which the SEC rules require to be provided to shareholders in a timely fashion.
Digging their graves deeper ?
limited time and additional funding requirements to complete the unit’s repair
I think it is an honest mistake, reading as "a letter" rather than as (letter sent via) email.
I have stated many times before on this board that, imo and in my analysis the ONLY way Wanderport will have a successful consumer market product is if they are able to show significant reduction in total cost of ownership (per year over lifespan) compared to other water heaters of all types.
As I see it any Wanderport unit will have significantly higher initial cost (for amount of hot water available) and electrical requirements (hence higher initial installation costs). However, the product will at best be equal to the electric competition in terms of efficiency of changing electric power to heat in water. That means that to be competitive it will require a low continuing maintenance hassle/cost and a long lifespan.
I have to agree. There prices have not been seen since the days of the initial Kaminac discoveries. At this deep discount I am willing to wait for signs of some life in the sector to load on more, as opposed to chasing the knife, as I have already avg'd down quite far on this one. Of the issues with ability to raise Kaminac seems to be one. Now, if the electric infrastructure in the Yukon planning just gets back on track, although I do suppose with enough ounces and blue sky for most majors aging a nice property where they would not even (eventually) have to install large power generation is likely not such a big issue as they (may) have the time to wait while polishing a mine plan and see the Yukon get its grid interconnect and added power source(s) at only the cost of the power to the mine.
Do you have a photo of a microwave water heater to. I never seen one working not even one of Wanderport Corp.
That must mean they are both short reduced and hedged and long loaded, all ready for continued profit skimming, just via reversed trending.
Aren't we all glad they are trendsetters ?
Nice, looking forward to part 2
Thanks for posting
The first time I read the responses from CD when you finally did receive something my jaw dropped in disbelief.
If I recall correctly you had to "pester" with that list of questions by sending a few times, waiting respectfully quite a length in total and between attempts to get some sort of response, and it was not until you (and others) had publicly commented on this board about the inexcusable lack of replies from EXS and/or CD that you did finally receive the reply in which most questions were just cut/past "see BoD" co-outs to not respond meaningfully.
When you first shared that my expectations for EXS (then already quite low given what I consider guidance behavior likened to a drunken gambler infatuated by the chase of the glitter of gold) hit a new low.
Numb ears. "My brain is encased here. Around this is a barrier I choose to place that keeps alien voices and ideas from penetrating."
Sheesh
In connection with the Release, Waterton received a break fee of US$ 1.0 million as outlined in the Company's press release of June 6, 2013.
Good to see your humor is full-bodied today
I wonder if any publication has resulted from the press investigation now that the records are unsealed. Have you heard anything yet?
Yes, obviously microwave water heaters can be done, which is why there are US patents granted for doing so that go back to the 1970s ! Dooh. That all shows up in a little DD. It is not doing it, it is doing it in a market worthy fashion !
clear like crystal
The E.U. is in crisis mode, as we see now in Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain. A continuation of low interest rates from the E.C.B. does not help them more than superficially.
I became tired of that very same "assumption" to get to an "all-in", and so started working it backwards from the stated net profit (which does not include cap ex or exploration, which have been previously larger than the net profit so BRD has in prior periods been operating in the red). Working from the net profit it appears that 1400 +/- 50 (things are adjusting due to cost reduction efforts previously announced) is the break-point. I could not find, not being an accountant nor having a temperament to tolerate digging into balance sheets for too long, how to get at the "all-in" cost in a way I would trust to be complete, and the net profit route seemed reasonable to me.
That said, as long as BRD is able to keep some of its exploration and cap ex funded I will be a happy camper as the pipeline appears to have some nice growth waiting to mature, and even if that must be put on slow burner or hold, it appears BRD should be able to operate in the black if the gold market continues in the absurd.
JMO
Even if gold stays around $1200, they are keeping costs so low that they will remain profitable.
But we're way beyond that stage..........aren't we????
Bravo. It just goes to show that even the sleeping awaken.
He keyed in on one of the main issues that came to me upon reading the FB blurb. Adjusting, by some third party, the guts of the system ?
Now he has a good point that most transformers and I assume commodity magnetrons are set by design at manufacture to specific voltages and for magnetrons wavelengths of microwave produced. So what is to adjust?
Are they testing with transformers and magnetrons that are not ones that would be used in a mass produced "heat engine" ? If so they are further from licensee ready product than has been claimed. If not then this is jst more BS verbage being tossed out.
I thought they were hired to do an independent testing and analysis, and Wanderport claimed the results would confirm Robert's in-house testing.
I would think that independent testing would do things as they, as professionals with vast resources and expertise, saw fit for the objective.
You can tell me that, but I have to tell you that in my scientist mind I have believed that is the case every since the first time I ran the thermodynamic number crunching.
And NO, of course not, is my answer, for the second year in a row (albeit a little earlier this year) no one will be able to even apply to do field testing of a Wanderport water heater by Christmas 2013 let alone buy one.
Meanwhile, the fact that all is not well in the EU is gain loader exposure, and it is not just the recent issues with Cyprus
So when will the house of cards come tumbling down ?
headline today
Greece has three days to deliver or face consequences - EU officials
http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/07/02/us-eurozone-greece-idUSBRE96107A20130702
(Reuters) - Greece has three days to reassure Europe and the IMF that it can deliver on conditions attached to its bailout in order to receive its next tranche of aid, four euro zone officials said on Tuesday.
The lenders are unhappy with progress Greece has made towards reforming its public sector, a senior euro zone official involved in the negotiations said, while another said they might suspend an inspection visit they resumed on Monday.
Athens, which has about 2.2 billion euros of bonds to redeem in August, needs the talks to conclude successfully.
If they fail, the International Monetary Fund might have to withdraw from the 240 billion euro ($313 billion) bailout to avoid violating its own rules, which require a borrower to be financed a year ahead.
That would heighten the risk that concerted efforts by policymakers over the past nine months to keep a lid on the euro zone crisis could unravel, at a time when tensions are rising in other troubled debtor countries.
Inconclusive information is an excellent reason to recalibrate the core of the unit ! ! !
I find this even more contadictory
we have heard request for the company to release whatever results obtained thus far, however they are inconclusive because we were unable to co-relate the raw data to the current draw as the intervals were too long in between. We tried everything to recoup or convert the data to no avail unfortunately
In the interim, Wanderport has recalibrated transformers and magnetrons and awaits their delivery in preparation for the up-coming re-tests.
Also, most FB posts have been copied here, so there is evidence sufficient to get a court to cause FB to release the archive.
I find this delete of posts very troubling in light of the recent decision by the SEC that FB and other social media can, once so announced, be the official news release method of exchange listed companies.
Getting back to WDRP, I wonder if any of the GB posters are now willing to still call this board a bunch of whinners, as they are now sounding like this board did about 3/4 of a year ago when the last of the die-hard cheerleader sorts were changing their minds, or rather were becoming willing to express their doubts.
I notice that there is mention that posts have been restored, an action the voice of FB only (or FB administration) could do, just as those are the only parties able to delete.
Is it now going on two years since there has been any news of any new progress by WDRP ? My how they have managed to stretch this out.
Anyone with ideas on the next tactic for delay ?
Be a realist - that is as good as, as precise as Wanderport has ever been in putting lines in the sands of time, probably better than their usual projection of the future in words readable in three or more ways.
So yes, that is their announcement of by end of H1, like it or leave it, but the last would leave you with no timelines.
Had it been done by the company that did the first 2 estimates,we would have been closer to the 1.5 million ounces we were looking for. From what I heard,we used another company for the last estimate.Any thoughts from anybody on post?
Same thought here . . . not aware it was removed . . . ?
building a case to claim the FB site was hacked or what ?
Thanks. I knew FAU was on a July '13 death-march, but just didn't remember start or end of month.
G mC has been indicating the mgmt and BoD need to wake up or change for quite some time, Seems I recall seeing hints of that attitude shift some months after MDO came out strongly that way. Too bad MDO got banished from the BB back them for the accurate critique.
Frankly, in this climate for resources in general, for exploration juniors, and funding it is pretty hard to see what could turn this ship around but something I have been certain of for over a year and a half is that CD is not going to be able to do it, not with the unlistening stubbornness.
That millions of debt payment I was trying to recall must have July 1 due date . . .
In the interim, the Board will run a strategic process and consider and evaluate all options with respect to the Nixon Fork property.
Ha, yea I hear you. I just went about as far as the wash needed but in the other direction . . . nice cool night up on the back side of Mt Humphreys won't be heading south for a while, at least until that heat wave ends.
Good to see a little sanity started flowing back into the metals
???
you intended to post something ?
Shakespeare could not have authored a more folly filled and humorous tragedy than is this Wanderport story
Klondex Samples 22,396 gpt (653 opt) Gold Over 0.15m (0.5ft) on the Vonnie Structure at Fire Creek in Nevada
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=58188265&symbol=TSX:KDX
Klondex Mines Ltd. (TSX: KDX) (OTCQX: KLNDF) ("Klondex" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the results of additional exploration drifting and metallurgical sampling on the Vonnie vein at its Fire Creek gold project in Nevada. Highlights of the channel sampling results (Figures 1 and 2) include assays of 20,231 g/t (590 ounces per ton) Au, 15,891 g/t (463 opt) Au, and 22,396 g/t (653 opt) Au, 63ft, 69ft and 74ft north of the 5400 cross cut, respectively. The complete set of results of channel sample assays is set out in Table 1 below.
The high-grade gold mineralization was encountered while following up on a surface drill intercept from FC-12-11S that returned 2,910 g/t Au (85 opt Au) over 1.5m (4.8ft) as announced on September 24, 2012. As a part of the exploration and sampling program, Klondex is assaying the Vonnie vein after each exploration round.
?? PB, ?? Ouch for G Mc ??
the terms of the off-take agreement would have been nice !
the proof is right there on FB

unlike a lot of other claims, disclosures, projections that have disappeared lock, stock, and barrel, this one is still there
do a little research and you will find
