Look again!
Why do people always blame the shorts for anything and everything that goes wrong with their stocks? IDCC gained about 5 points before the trial verdict. A win was pretty much built in already. Sell the news kicked in imo.
Probably for the same reason people bash IDCC right after they win a court battle against ZTE. JMO
Great analogy, Captain. Thanks!
Thanks DnDodd.
Loop, thanks for your insightful comments. Finally, it appears our momentum has changed directions.....much more than past years. Slow but sure, I think our time is approaching. JMO
I didn't believe the stock had any chance to close at 39 or 50. Make sense now? Whoever came closer had zero to do with it.
Aah, but it has everything to do with it. You said $39 and Mickey said $50. IDCC closed at $46 which is waaaay closer to $50 than $39. Simple math. JMO
IDCC closed nearer to Mickey's $50 than to your $39. Just sayin......
Thanks Bob. Your comments are reassuring, however we know juries can surprise everyone. Good luck to us all.
After the fact and maybe a dumb question, but in Delaware doesn't the plaintiff have a choice between a jury or judge to render a decision? If so, wouldn't a judge be a better choice because he/she would be directly involved in all testimony? Also, a judge may have the higher intellect required to comprehend this high tech stuff.
One more thought: IMO, I wonder how much effect a win will have on the share price without awarding damages.
I also would like to offer a shout out to all 3 attendees. Thank you!
I read their blog and didn't see any source to back this up.
David, I have not heard much about Sierra. Are they reliable? Thanks!
Isn't it always quiet before the storm? We should know more after closing comments today. JMO
Hmmm, it seems he didn't follow what has been reported, but nothing will matter until the next few days. JMO
Good luck to you too Leon. As we all know, there's no guarantee in court. Let's hope we settle.
I agree Pat. IMO, it still wouldn't hurt to reiterate/reinforce the fact that IDCC isn't a troll and designs it's own IPR. And I'm pretty sure the closing arguments are almost the last words the jury will hear and remember. JMO
Just thinking out loud (again)............I hope our lawyers make a mention about the 200 engineers employed by IDCC in closing arguments. This would hopefully remove any "troll" image that the jurors may have.
I'm glad Max is in our corner. He comes from a solid background and is driven to succeed. Here's another tidbit about him:

Thanks Jim. Not sure why I used a question mark instead of a period. It was late and I was half asleep while typing, lol.
So JJFF, Monday could be a crucial point in the case? Thanks for keeping us abreast.
Sons, I'm wondering exact same! Technical said he thinks ZTE performed poorly. I guess we'll find out oon enough. JMO
Jim, can you be more specific? I for one am very curious. Thanks!
My thanks to JJFF, Captain Bob and Technical for their over and beyond assistance during these crucial times for our little flea-----IDCC. Until tomorrow, good night all.
Yes I remember Jim. I miss his insightful posts. I might be wrong, but IIRC he took a beating on options around the time Intel was interested in buying IDCC. JMO
Dozer, good to see you're still in the game.
Makes some sense. We should be hearing results from Huawei arbitration within the next 2 months. JMO
Thanks Sons! Now if someone could jist tell us what all those words means, lol.
Gotta say Leon, I miss when you reported from hearings. IIRC, you would update the board throughout the day.
David, look again, up a buck twenty eight.
Thanks Technical. Your reports are very much appreciated.
I was kinda hoping for a report from Captain Bob and/or Technical. Anybody hear anything?
Well Jeff, I've been around the IDCC block a few times and know nothing is a certainty in the courtroom. Jury decisions are 50-50 at best...no matter what case is being tried. I'm sure you recall O.J. Simpsons trial. JMO
Warbil, I looked and couldn't find the article, but IIRC, the Chinese stated that IDCC had a monopoly of sorts. I also recall that Merritt feared going to China because of being arrested. JMO
More thinking out loud: this time next week our share price will either be in the 30's or 50's. JMO
Thanks Lime. Speaking of Limejuice, am I the only one here who's Gimlet intake has increased of late? Lol
I agree, my biggest worry is that IDCC lawyers won't be able to simplify all the high tech stuff so the jury can grasp how ZTE is stealing from IDCC. Another worry is that if IDCC does win, the award will be small because IDCC is a small company. Either way, I'm holding on to my shares. Just thinking out loud.
Sons, do you think we'll hear anything on Monday? IIRC, 10-20-14 is significant for some reason or other.
In effect, the Huawei boss is pretty much saying that Huawei doesn't need the U.S. market to sustain growth.
I believe in the mass delusion of crowds , there's wisdom in not following the turkeys off to the drive to the butcher on Nov 20th.....
I also think bubbles re occuring events, and the same people do the same thing over and over
Say what?
Did someone say FORTY ONE.......again?
