Proto, if they have one I would be doing cartwheels. I do not believe they are that advanced yet and the presentation will be an overall progress report. Tom is getting a ton of heat to stop sitting on his hands and get the word out.
8-k should be interesting as far as where we stand with old partners and possibly new ones.

Everyone is trying to guess where the first contract or revenue stream comes from. Better yet someone to fund our testing instead of us doing it. How they cannot get someone to back their technology is beyond me.
LSS-Intel
EM Photonics- probably on the back burner
Lockheed- assuming history
new 8k- hopefully someone new to the mix. Will they announce a name? Without one this news is muted.
Fiberlogix-Celestech-Who knows?
Anyone have other names to add to the mix?
You do realize the post was in jest. Some of us here have known each other for years and get along just fine.
If I had to make an assessment, I would presume that the price is dropping because we are void of news from EM Photonics, Michelson, many overdue timelines among others. Blaming the fall in price on IH members has to be a joke Proto and George. You guys are better than that( I think).
Proto, that 1.46 call was a doozy. I would guess LPC is the only one short against the box. They would be fools not to be.
Walter, how many black people are of belgian descent. I think they brought in some Nigerian brothers for that game.
Walter, soccer is about as popular as badminton for most of us. Great sport though for the children to play.
World Cup is great to watch when the fans are into it.
If I am wrong, I apologize and he can disregard my post. Not sure that I am.
I am here to make money and this is a great risk/reward with the right management team. You Star Wars geeks can play connect the dots.
Can I play What's My LIne here?
1) Are you affiliated with Lightwave in some aspect?
2) Do you spend more time reading boards than working for the company?
3)Do you receive close to six figures for manning a projector at the ASM's?
If you answer yes to any of the three, it would be nice if you paid more attention to getting the word out about Lightwave than calling shareholders mental defectives and psycho's. We have some hard earned money invested here. You collect a nice paycheck for what.
If you are not the IR person, disregard this e-mail.
Gates , you have to be kidding me. I did not assert that anyone positive on Lightwave was a kool aid drinker. I would not have invested here if I was not positive at one time. Now I am a realist and am less than enthused with our prospects after 5 years being here.
I like Tom but see him as just the face of Lightwave while JM runs the show in the background. There are so many questions these guys need to answer and the ASM will be a focal point this year.
1)Where are Michelson's white papers?
2) EM Photonics seems to have come and gone. Appears to be another waste of funds.
3) Using universities that turned out to be one and done was another waste of time and money.
That is for starters. If this was a private company, then so be it. Problem is they are public and shareholders are technically the owners. I will be thrilled if they announce a new partner or contract before the conference. Remember that Tom said he will only speak to institutions if he has a working modulator and not before. Looking forward to that news.
I have done enough digging to make the assumption that things are not what they appear to be. A dissenting opinion is justified if it is warranted. Some of the kool-aid drinkers need to walk against the wheel.
Proto I need you to turn negative and then I will wet my beak. You are the ultimate kiss of death in this stock. Might be a good thing.
X, I know you have a lot of skin in the game and have a right to be grumpy. Could be wise to lighten up a bit if we trend higher on good news in the 8-k.
Joker, what is Private Pyle doing out of his bunk after hours.
Take it easy Leonard
That is exactly what should happen but I want to see the deals of the PP first.
Nrd- The ASM will be a doozy minus some blockbuster event in the interim. The gloves will come off and they might have already. How does a CEO who gets demoted get a raise and nice options. I just do not get it unless he is really the CEO(just not in name).
I thought when we hired Lou B. it was a slam dunk but EM Photonics has made me question whether we have the right team in place. Something seems amiss there.
I have heard positive and negative in the last few weeks and I believe this conference and what Tom tells the attendees and amy subsequent 8-k will go a long way.To pay Tom,Jim,Steve, and Chuck a good deal of money to basically work out of state and part time is not in shareholders best interests. That is what people here are pissed about.
I am most intrigued by what Joe Miller provides to the company or is he just going to be used once we achieve some sort of contract.
If I had to guess, the PP will be around 10-12 cents with warrants. The dilution will be heavy so they had better have a plan post financing.
I thought you liked me George.
Excellent post. I could lay out a scenario where everyone has prospered under LWLG except shareholders but I will refrain. Tom had better have something to report in the next two months.
If that is the case, I would liquidate my holdings. I wonder who was the point man and what was told to them to make them invest. From various reports, they either hold a lot or next to nothing. The move in Jan 2012 from 1 to over 3 would have been ideal for them to sell against the box. There were penny stock sites pumping LWLG at the time and I am sure they sold into the hype. I would have. It is all about return on your investment.
You will have to thank X and Proto for GIG. They are the Black Cats of LWLG although they mean well.X is brilliant with info and Proto's predictions are right about .00000001 of the time. Fact is none of us have a clue where LWLG is headed. I am as bad as the next guy here and I was a professional trader. Trouble is this turd does not meet the snuff test and could be fifty next week(doubtful) or zero. It is a roll of the dice and so far we have rolled snake eyes. How is it that Jim and Tom keep rolling seven's.
Have a nice Memorial Day weekend. Less than two months till the ASM.
I will be asking the same question 5 years from now.
The stock looked strong in Canada on the opening and just faded out. Every day is Groundhog Day with my investments.
LOL I would love to see that meeting. Everyone would be asleep and Jim would be playing with his LEGO's as Mary is flying off the hinges.
You are getting more bitter than Six and me(lol). You might need a pep talk from X.
The ASM should be quite interesting. I forget what we vote on this year. Need Mary Goetz to lay the hammer down.
Some sort of Joint Venture would get many to invest. We have a viable product but a dormant mine. Peter needs to get a deal closed or we languish at these levels. Hopefully Mark Smith can find us some capital and then we get the partner.
Invesor made a great find on the situation with CBMM. They could be the answer to our prayers if Brazil plays hardball with them.
He has skin in the game unlike everyone else save Fasick.
Besides Mr. Bucchi, does any BOD member have shareholder's interests at heart. The three amigos can keep running the raises and options past us as long as no one tries to stop them. We could use Phil back and some new board members to represent our interests. Seriously, what do any of these guys contribute.
1)JM
2)Cordevano
3)Ashton
4)Glasgow
5)Miller
Keep Greenlee,Eaton,Lou B.,Babu,Leonberger, maybe Turpin( not sure what he does for us) and Tom Zelibor. The rest are deadwood.
A few of us have already tried to help the company in different ways. I might be a negative here(realist) but I have at least spent a few years trying to offer advice and people. Still trying to connect the dots.
I have questions as to why Prather did not merge with Lightwave. If we had something, you think he would have gladly picked up a controlling stake in the company.
Just show me some progress in writing and we can all do cartwheels. Christ, they cannot even update a website but can sure give out nice salaries and options. Just keeping it real.
Their website is awful. No one disputes that Invesor. As of yesterday,Louis Glasgow is still CTO. I was told he was never the CTO. Go figure.
I am more for losing some of the BOD and getting someone who will represent shareholders or their own interests. Besides Mr. Bucchi, there is no skin for these guys in the game. Joe Miller is the wildcard here. I cannot imagine he would let us down.
I am hanging out in the pumkin patch with Proto smoking crack. Getting my next rock is my main concern.
LWLG is not really that much of a concern. Just thought we would be at 15 bucks by now instead of 97 cents ands reading Jim got renewed and more options. He must be doing big things.
propjoe13@yahoo.com
will do
Nothing in my yahoo e-mail.
OT-Say a prayer for the people around Moore Ok. This is beyond belief the power of the storm that passed thru a few hours ago. Heartbreaking video being shown.
Thanks Buzz.
Buzz,
Do you know how many shares LPC holds at present? Various reports indicate they either hold a significant amount or nothing at all. Would they not have to file a 13-D if they hold at least 5 percent?
Maybe Jim Marcelli is being upgraded to CTO.
We have the Holy Grail of Optical Comuting and Yahoo just announces the purchase of Tumbler for 1.1 billion. Something is wrong with this picture.
http://www.lightwavelogic.com/about_us_leadership.html
There are only a few guys on that board that I would consider keeping. Flush the company(toilet) and get some guys who can get our story out. Having a management team in office that lives across the country is beyond belief. I wonder what the hotel bills are costing the company in Delaware.
X, would you have really split the money if you won the lotto(lol).
The share price has been drifting lower for weeks and I am looking at prices below 80 cents soon if we have no concrete news. The news on Glasgow is not what I wanted to read. If he was ill why did they ever bring him on board to begin with.
Bud, I look at Lightwave now as Leonberger, Eaton, the two guys in the lab, and Lou Bintz. You can place all the others on waivers. If there is nothing done by the ASM, something needs to change. I am all for getting a voice for shareholders on the BOD. A fellow shareholder has recommended banding together and getting us represented. He makes a valid point.
