Health Canada likes the sounds of their plan, so they're guaranteed to move on to the next stage of inspection, but the time from now to then is the only real resistance; it will simply depend on when HC gets around to checking us out.
Once they remove the injunction I think a lot of people will still just choose to grow their own....But there will still be a huge market for those who don't want to bother with growing, or those wanting or needing a legal supply.
Fluctuations in share price are inevitable, especially at this stage, and with fewer shares in the float, post-R/S, no news, but if you're planning on holding into 2015 then none of this should bother you. A good PR once they are inviting HC around to the facility will be an excellent catalyst for a green day, IMO...and in the meantime there is evidence for the work they are doing, but I don't think too many investors do all the sleuthing like some of the iHub-ers, ahem, Sillylung...so the market's response has been negative....good time to load if you're going to be here for a while.
At the end of the day it's the management's business plan that we're investing in, and they're ultimately looking to become an international supplier, nothing has changed there. Also, this greenhouse has a lot more potential than much of the competition in this space; they've sunk a lot of dough into this project which will be a drop in the bucket once they turn on the tap.
Big project! Second half of November. Plenty of time to load!....
What PRE-APPROVAL/License to Build Means (From Health Canada)
An email from Health Canada regarding the process is below followed by my initial email. Important takeaways are that there are no specific process times for each stage of licensing and that Supreme will likely soon be in the pool of companies waiting for that pre-license inspection. People are saying that Health Canada is tarrying in coming around, but I wonder how many companies have actually reached this point in the approval process, maybe 30? I remember the interview we all looked at a while back --with the old HC employee-- and he mentioned something like 26 companies with approval to build, also going on to say that said companies would be as good as in. I'm sure that will be the case eventually, but it seems like it's going to come gradually, as the market demands, with a couple of approvals here and there.
I'm not sure how long they'll take to get around to checking these places out, but I bet it will happen sooner than later as the number of patients increases and doctors gradually become more receptive after being better informed by the various pro-MJ initiatives in place...

Hello,
I just have a couple of general inquiries concerning the MMPR and the process of license approval.
Would you be able to elaborate on what exactly the terms "pre-approval license to build" mean? I am aware that some companies are currently to be found in this state, and are presently going through the building process.
I was wondering if you'd be able to further elaborate on some of the procedures that must follow this stage, such as Health Canada's final inspection to approve production, the approval to sell, etc?
To my knowledge, there are licensed producers and other companies who have been given the OK by Health Canada to produce, but not yet to sell dried marijuana? How extensive is the process from the "pre-approval to build" stage to being authorized to legally sell?
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
Nah man, they've SPENT 25 million.
I was thinking the same thing. He was on queue with 'disaster' one post later though. Poor ol' Bgrass!
I think the Herbergers are pretty familiar with MJ...Combined with Med-Man this should be good.
Yeah I saw that, from Shroomalien. I hope we see something solid soon! This week hopefully!
Sorry, but was this not posted in April? 04/18/2014
Likewise. The slow bleed on the SP needs an ass-kicking PR.
Working with Marcommy's: Looks to be the companies listed here, for surveillance systems, etc. The 5 million is hopefully the whole package deal to get this monster going!

Non-existent? SL has traded over 200k already, Bgras, and all you 'Murricans don't know about this gem yet. Wait for Seattle Greenrush when everyone's paying .50+/share after MMPR is announced!
Holding those .30s. Like TFN said -- some more weak hands(something for nothings) have departed on news of dilution, causing a gap down on Friday, but since then we've been holding our 30s on the Canadian side.
Thanks for the straight-forward reply, ha ha. I guess folks will have to see what --if anything at all-- pans out in the next few weeks...
Looks like the sell-offs and lack of real news are raping this thing. I was just surprised at how well CEN seemed to be showcased in The Globe and Mail....while also speaking warnings of 'junior mining companies', smaller operations, etc.... But I have heard scandalous accusations on this ticker since day one. For an investor-beware sort of article in the Globe, I was surprised at how well this company was projected...
When I'm hearing insider selling I am hoping that new and unsuspecting investors don't read it and jump all over the "largest" (unconfirmed) 600kg license talk. I feel like messaging the columnist over that one.
But I sincerely hope that the plan comes to fruition and that you guys get a solid PR on the happenings soon!
I'm not here and trying to bash or anything, but I'm interested in what's going on here... Sell-offs and yet he's talking about a 600kg license in The Globe and Mail?
Not a CEN shareholder, but I'm not here to wish impending doom on anybody either!
Good luck everybody!
Development to being shortly!:

They don't sound too favourable in this article, but then again it IS the Globe and Mail. They may certainly have biases towards the LPs who are well-established already, but then I don't know about the strong talk surrounding FITX, and also Chaaban's words on 600kg license approval, a license coming by end of month, etc.
And for Chaaban to be talking down to these once-were mining companies? FITX is not looking to be in a great position, IMO, and has had plenty of negative publicity...
I think the important takeaways from this article are that there ARE companies within this sector that are very valuable plays....and that Health Canada DOES NOT have any set-in-stone target for the number of LPs in the interim or mid/long-term...
It's my opinion that Supreme will be in a similar position to Aphria in the not-so-distant future, waiting for a license to sell, but stockpiling the weed along the way...
It sucks getting burned on dilution/financing, my friend... And I'm feeling that too! But we need to keep our eyes on the prize and wait for Winter revenues!
In the meantime we can turn this board into a place to console eachother before the inevitable, or bash one another and go for the throat...Just need to keep focused on the impending news to come.
Nice article in GlobeAndMail about the industry. A mention of Supreme and also of Creative Edge's estimation on having a license in a month. Not sure where that's coming from, at all, or the 600,000kg production figure he's putting out there.
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/high-hopes-investors-take-aim-at-canadas-marijuana-industry/article20085181/
Pretty good summation of what's going on. HC has no projected figure for the number of LPs.
The article mentions Aphria, who has been approved to grow and has been growing for months, but has not yet been approved to sell, and so it's likely that we'll have another hurdle to hop over when it comes to being approved to sell product. There will be some quality testing, etc, I am sure, and then we'll get to sales. I'd say the Supreme timeline is right on! January as a target for sales seems pretty good, considering how long HC may tarry on getting approvals out there, and it's evident that Aphria has been waiting --and growing-- patiently. They're also looking to put out an IPO. Will be interesting to see what happens. If you look on their website they are greenhouse growers like Supreme, and instead have 90k approved space with expansion possibilities. It will be interesting to see what Aphria's valuation is, especially when compared to Supreme, a larger company with a much larger license, that is still very undervalued especially when considering where it will be in six months time.
Aphria might be worth a watch just to see where its SP falls in relation to current LPs and Supreme Pharma....and where they go after a couple months of selling/when financials are reported. They'll probably be ahead of Supreme by a Quarter (on a yearly timeline), and so they might be a good indication of where we roll from here (though I don't know any of their financials of course!)...
JMO!
Canadian side closed -.01. Not bad at all. She's holding! Just need some good news.
Let's break that .005 next week!
Yeah on F1 that's about what we've heard....That they needed to make some improvements....I'm really looking forward to seeing some numbers....especially the sort of cash that thing has made with its MMAR licenses thanks to the court injunction; I hope there's some info on that.
Sold!!!
Yeah I can agree with that! The Liberals are so into it...Jodie Emery now running for and likely to win West Vancouver....Tweed CEO Rifici and his ties to the Liberal party....And I have spoken to LPs who have patients using for headaches and joint pain. Anyone over twenty has joint pain along with literal and figurative 'headaches' lol. I think that now there just needs to be a strict divide between who gets covered for it, epileptics for instance, and those of us who would like to use it as a Tylenol substitute! Haha! We'll get there sooner than later.
Haha, yeah the AZ thing is a mystery.... Maybe they'll be like Bedrocan, supplementing the AZ surplus with Canadian-grown weed just like Bedrocan has been doing from NL....
Once we hear more about the AZ happenings I will have to educate myself on how the laws are moving down there...
I think this whole MMPR bogus could exit almost as swiftly as it came into the weed world....In the Ontario election the Liberals won -- and for those of you who don't know, we elected a white lesbian lady -- so that, IMO, speaks volumes for what may happen in the Federal election since the most conservative part of the country voted in the Liberals....
If we can keep our health care system and it doesn't become privatized, maybe it'll get to a point where anyone having a Class A illness: Cancer, Aids, MS, severe PTSD, severe mental disorders, etc, are all covered through insurance, and Class B: general/transient anxiety or depression, appetite disorders, whatever can get meds at a compassionate price, then the Rec market premium prices will remain from 3 to 12 bucks/gram...
Just an idea....after reading what Bedrocan has done in NL with the government, and that they anticipate trying to work this into Canada. I agree that there needs to be coverage for the seriously ill, and that this MMPR is just a way of making money off many rec users with back pain and tennis elbow by allowing them to classify themselves as "medical users".
I can see why guys who are seriously ill get pissed off with this system. The only ones who are currently covered are accident victims and veterans.
Sorry for ranting....feeling type-y today...
I was checking that out last night. They're the real deal alright! They must be getting a lot of dough for this job. A huge project!
Looking forward to seeing what's to come. End of August could see a huge PR I think, like TFN said.
Nice! I love when you sleuth this stuff out.
Edibles Approved: http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/08/14/medical-marijuana-edibles-bc-court_n_5679468.html
Concentrates and edibles are going to be huge! Once they're approved, and the existing court injunction is settled one way or another, stay tuned for increased revenues + job creation for existing LPs, and likely some new entrants, especially once the rec market opens up, who appear in the sector and specialize in concentrates and other infusions.
By the AZ talk it seems that Supreme wants to diversify themselves in this way, but I'm curious to see where they'll find themselves in a recreational market once there are retailers who want to buy a LOT of weed, slap a brand on it, and resell it through weed franchises/mom and pop shops. The existing (and future) LPs may, in my opinion, become key suppliers in this equation, but I bet pricing will be awfully competitive when considering how flooded the sector will be by then -- and so Supreme is doing it right by entering with a competitive pricing model.
My prediction! IMO
I'll take 20%! Beats my -50% right now ;)
GLTA
I hear ya there! And I agree. I only hold Tweed and Supreme right now, but would be looking at a third if I had some money to work with lol. I'm locked and loaded in these guys....and I'm going to hold off selling anything, even on tempting looking +20-30% gains, etc....We should be due for some exponential gains over the next five or so years! It could be nuts once they get into concentrates, edibles, etc...There will be lots of weed being pumped out of these places...
Right now I wouldn't invest in anything that isn't pre-approved or a current LP.... Maybe we can ride this wave together and then seek out some of the companies who will be buying and branding -- as Chris Parry has mentioned -- since that might be the next opportunity.
But perhaps some of these companies, such as Supreme, will be accommodating their business plan, becoming more vertically integrated, and ultimately becoming cannabis suppliers as well as international retailers for oils/edibles/etc.
This will be quite the ride, my friend!
Yeah it'll just be TSX I guess, but I'd be interested to see if it dips after the lockout period ends. I might stand on the sidelines and see if the big guys dump as soon as they get a chance....Tweed seemed to get hit pretty hard on a variety of factors -- but Bedrocan is in a different situation with their Netherlands connection.
As for selling shake, I did see their product from a patient at Greenrush and it does look nice. I can't say that they've never included shake in their containers though! Tweed got bad publicity for that sort of thing....But they claim this damage happens in shipping?....Which I can't really see...
It would be tempting to sell all that shake, especially when they're made to get rid of all trimmings and aren't allowed to make tinctures/etc!
The OIL market is going to be huge in the next 5 to 10 years....It will be interesting to see how/if these companies adapt to accommodate that, and to see how many new entrants emerge as companies specializing solely in concentrates. Supreme will have some heavy orders for their BUD from these sort of businesses....
Easy! No pre-approval, max capacity of 80,000sqft, and they'll begin working in a 20,000sqft space. In my opinion they are too small! Look at the expansion potential that the major LPs have right now....
They're getting $900k to set up a facility which is nowhere close to the magnitude of Supreme. As The Free Nebula mentioned a while back: nothing comes for free.
We don't know how the financing deal is going to work here, but even after we raise that 5 million our O/S will sill be under 80 million, very shy compared to our old O/S....So I don't really consider that to be "massive" dilution. For a group of gold miners and oil and gas junkies I am pretty impressed with the way they've entered this sector, especially juxtaposed to their competitors coming from a similar position....
Without the R/S we'd be adding another 50million odd shares to the O/S and we'd still have a low share price such that any institutional interest would be non-existent, especially with over 400 million shares outstanding...
Nobody is a fan of losing shares, but the R/S will, IMO, prove to be a good thing after MMPR is released...
Big news to come, IMO. This stock doesn't work like the 'stinky pinky' micropennies. And keep in mind that these guys used to trade on the TSX, a reputable exchange up here, but there are more people playing the MMJ stocks on CNSX.... And it's interesting to watch the nature of both SL and SPRWD, volume traded, fluctuations, etc. If you'd like to feel a bit better about things you should take a look at the Canadian ticker ;) lol...
Nice find -- the Marcomm Systems Corp! Hopefully we get some really nice news in the not-so-distant future. I bet those guys will do a wicked job on this place. A slow unveiling, as you've said. Meanwhile some competitors who are in a similar position to Supreme -- and moving to this industry from another sector -- are really nose-diving. I think a lot of these guys, as we've all been saying, are too small to actually get a license. Smaller operations are far too much like the old system, and too much for Health Canada to keep track of.
I know we're here to talk about Supreme, but I've been looking at some of the other companies that I was introduced to at the Conference and they are beginning to spell "disaster". Looking at Lexaria, for instance, a company moving from the oil and gas sector and who were even recommended to me by a few people, cannot seem to generate any traction. Since the date of the conference they've been slashed over 66% and are diluting to finance there project which has yet to be approved.
I think we can rest easy here, knowing that our facility has been pre-approved and that we're right on track....plus a low float and some big things in the works....
I know we're here to discuss Supreme, but what do you guys make of Bedrocan as a solely medicinal outfit, and where it will chalk up against Supreme and existing competitors? I know they will be more expensive than Supreme at 7.50/gram and they will offer limited strains, but they seem to have a unique plan to stay within the medical side of things (unlike many of the players who wish to enter the recreational market), and they're speaking about working more with the government to arrange for insurance coverage/etc. Once the recreational floodgates open, Bedrocan will cease to be a competitor of Supreme/Tweed/whomever, but will be a unique option, especially for the VERY ill/disabled patients who need financial assistance. What do you folks make of all this, relative to Supreme, and to the entire industry? Do you think these other companies will remain competitors within the medical market, or will Bedrocan cater to a niche of patients while the others seek profits on the recreational side of things?
It's because nobody considers cleaning out a few old lights / sweeping out the place as REAL construction. The latest news just means that the big boys are coming in and getting this thing moving....new office adjacent to grow space, etc, etc. Like Silly said, we just need to hear some info on financing and where we're moving from here.
They said there have been a few amendments to their construction plan -- so hopefully these are all kosher with HC. That's the only bit of information that could even slightly come off as 'negative', but if they are "minor", as mentioned, then it shouldn't be a big deal.
Great find! Thanks! Want this guy stickied?
Hasn't had a chance to fall yet, market hasn't opened! Save the disaster talk for another twelve minutes!
Welcome back, SillyLung! Disaster control time ;) Lol

I agree.... R/S and lift-off to Arizona probably doesn't sit well with many shareholders... We definitely need some information soon! I'd think that they're planning on attending Greenrush Seattle in September? I hope we see a string of updates soon....August is supposed to be a big month....
I agree! Can we all get hyped about news if it isn't tied to Meredith and TCEL inc?
As mentioned here on their website: NOT: TCel Inc. All enquires for that please refer to their CEO John Meredith jwsmeredith@aol.com
It's the same technology, and these guys were partners obviously, but I wonder what sort of sustained connection there is -- because surely there must be one?
