I didn't know that. That's great news. I must have missed that somewhere along the line, thanks. That really bolsters the hope.
Great, now I have a bullet statement for my EPR!!
- Great communicator; Investors Hub comment lauded by former Air Force Liutenant
Thanks, I need some bullets :o)
If you're ever in town within the next year, look me up and we'll go out.
Ciao signore
Yup, you guessed it. I am at Aviano. Have you been here before? Ex military?
Grazie e altre tanto.
Well, she's doing her job. I'm selling all my QBID...LOL
Hey guys, this is from another stock but it gives me hope regarding the O/S of cetek. If it's good for one, why not the other?

Q Television Network Retires One Billion Shares
December 14, 2004 10:30:00 (ET)
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Dec 14, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Q Television Network, (Pink Sheets: QBID) announced today that its CEO, Mr. Frank Olsen, will retire 1,000,000,000 shares of his personal QBID stock.
Q Television's board of directors has agreed to retire the QBID shares to the treasury. The 1,000,000,000 shares are QBID common stock. Mr. Olsen will retain voting rights and a long term conversion provision. The retirement of the stock will occur in pre-set blocks over the next two months.
"This non-dilutive measure will bring an increased value to our shareholders," said Olsen. "We have negotiated and put contracts into place to ensure longevity for our network and, as this occurs, we will take steps to bring value to our shareholders."
She's animated? It looks like a real person to me.
Due,
You have a ton of input and admittedly, most of it goes way over my head.
It sounds like either you have dedicated your life to investing/possible career or livelihood or you are a lawyer or something of that nature.
Is there any way you could dumb down some of your responses to a certain degree? Just like a doctor has to explain things in layman's terms to a patient.
I'd like to learn more, but it is hard when I don't understand what you're saying half the time. The typical investment jargon is a real turn-off and uses many more words than necessary.
You don't have to, but I'd certainly appreciate it. There was nothing in this particular response that stumped me, but I'm just saying in general.
And can you please tell us your motive for posting about a stock you don't own? What's the point? It has to benefit you in some way.
I want to give you the benefit of the doubt in this basher theory, but considering your knowledge of investing and the rest of the evidence, the deck is stacked against you.
What I really want to know is who is the hottie in the advertisement next to all the messages? I love her.
Patience will be key. I'd say wait until it drops. If you are looking to swing trade, get in at what suits you best (1.20 maybe) and then sell at 1.40 for example.
Personally, I will wait if and when it goes below a dollar again before I buy any more. I think it will drop a few more times before the big push. I think there's time, but I could be wrong.
I really expect to see another split in the not too distant future after their first year of production.
Right now, my purchase price is .90. If I see it go there again, I'll get anoter few thousand shares. I'd like to be over 10K shares before they start selling.
Now, it depends on how many shares you're buying at a time as well. If you're only getting 50 or 100 shares a pop, the difference between 1.2 and 1.3 isn't much, only a few shares. If you plan on getting a few thousand, play the waiting game.
That's what I'd do anyway.
So, to sum up:
Going long with a small purchase, PPS doesn't make much difference except personal gratification on buying a "discounted product".
I really expect to see this stock over 5 someday and possibly way beyond that. If that is true, looking back and buying at 1.2 or 1.4 will not matter in the least.
What do you think? I'm open for correction or suggestions in investing as well. I like new ideas.
I think you hit on the big key to all of this...Cetek must expand its manufacturing capabilities. I recall that in a previous news release that they were operating at 100% of their capability. So, in essence, they physically cannot grow anymore with their current status.
So, until we see a news release about the aquisition of another facility, I wouldn't expect to see any more profit increases.
I'm about an hour north of Venice. The main city is Pordenone.
Unfortunately I only have one year left here before I must leave. Hopefully I can come back here on another assignment (military).
I haven't been to Ischia, but I have been to Capri. VERY nice. I plan on taking a trip to Sardania on my motorcycle in the spring for my last big trip before I leave town.
Maybe that's what he's got up his sleeve.
No sorry, never heard of it.
I've lived in Italy the past 6 years so I'm a little behind on the new stuff in the states.
I'll ask my dad if he's heard of it. He knows some big time investors who know all about this stuff.
I never thought about that. How do you move the shares to a Roth? What are the benefits and negatives?
Just to let you know I didn't forget about your request.
I talked to my dad today and he said he hasn't seen "the guy" in a while. They're not friends, this guy just works at the same building as my dad does and they run into each other once in a while at lunch in the cafeteria. "Water cooler talk".
As soon as I hear anything, I'll let you know.
Just a reminder, I have no idea how reliable this guy is so please don't take any of these posts to heart.
To recap, this is what I've gotten over the past few months:
1. His son works for the company as some type of product designer or developer (I could be wrong about that)
2. His son is very optimistic about the company's future and both of them are heavily invested in cetek.
3. His timeframe for a rise was after Christmas
4. He told my dad these exact words..."It's not impossible for this stock to jump to $10".
IMO, this guy is a little overzealous. However, I do believe that there is something stirring to create a good jump in the stock.
One thing that keeps me hopeful is that this stock used to trade at $1.75 on the NASDAQ.
If this company has been there before, it can get there again.
Can you imagine if it hit that again? Hello vacation!
Actually, one of my goals in life is to open a shelter for abused women. A nice run in Cetek could get me off to a good start at that. I want to be operating independantly of the government so I don't have to abide by their silly rules. I could use government grants and do it at the expense of uncle sam, but I'm not looking for a handout. I want to do this all on my own.
Hey PW,
Yea, I saw that a while ago. I don't take it personally. However, I still don't lie down either. I am from NY you know. We New Yorkers always have to get the upper hand. If there's anyone on here that knows about a NY minute, it's me! LOL
Our little spat seemed to have done some good. I sense a better atmosphere and correspondance now.
Thank you. That was a good post.
Nevermind. Just drop it OK?
Buckle up boys, it's going to be an exciting ride with many bumps!
Here's a question,
What if they bothered to research it and cetek released some info to Putnam but gave them a gag order.
The investment team actually visits the companies they research. That's what they get paid to do and can do it much better than any of us can.
The info was something like Cetek could prove that they will be a multi million dollar company and will be off the pinks in one year, and this info was solid.
Would they still ignore it? If so, why?
Thanks brg,
I was probably shooting in the dark and due is probably right. It was most likely a useless effort.
However, his tone is so demeaning that it is hard not to get upset at his posts.
That confused comment was great, I was cracking up.
Oh well, it takes all types to make this world go round. I'm sure Due has his place in the world that somehow fits into God's big plan.
Whatever due,
You're missing the point.
Here's the basics:
I said I mentioned Cetek to a fund company.
You said, I'm an idiot for even trying.
Maybe I am naieve in trying, but it's not something you should get your panties in a bunch over. Are you bi-polar or something?
What's it to you if I did that or not?
Do you smack your kid in the face if he spills his milk?
It's not ad hominem because you attacked me first. I was just defending myself against the way you talked down to me. You could try to be a little more tactful in the way you address others. Try not to be so pompous and arrogant becuase you are "intelligent".
Here's what you could have said:
Hey Padrino,
that was a valiant effort, but it probably won't get far because that is not how funds operate. Even though it says OTC, it doesn't mean they will buy penny stocks.
Nice try though...good luck.
Do you see how much better that sounds than the arrogant crap you wrote?
You are probably right in your assessment and I appreciate the info. However, people are more likely to listen to you if you are nice to them, not demeaning.
Ever hear the phrase, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar?
You'll have my posts removed? OOHH I'm petrified.
You are a parasite on this board since you don't even own the stock.
I still don't understand your motives for posting about cetek if you don't own any or are not planning to buy.
Can you at least explain that? I'd love to know.
God bless,
Il Padrino
Warning noted, thanks.
I was just being cute with the words. It was not meant to be a threat.
Sorry due and to anyone else who was offended.
I'm in your shoes. In at .004, averged at .0019.
Just be patient. Unless they go out of business, it should go back up and you will at least be able to break even. Don't worry. If you have to hold on to it for years, so be it. You havent lost until you sell short.
Welcome aboard Jason,
Good post.
Look,
What chip is on your shoulder? If we met in person, I'd do you a favor and knock it off for you.
All I did was say that I mentioned Cetek to the company to let them decide if they're interested in it or not. What's with the hostility?
I TOOK A SHOT AND PUT FORTH EFFORT.
I'm new to investing so maybe it was futile and pointless, I don't know. I'm sorry if it sounds silly to the all knowing due dillinger.
What have you done besides bash this stock that you don't even own? What do you benefit by posting here?
What does OTC mean to you? To me, it means that they look for companies that have potential that aren't on the main stream market yet. Which tells me that they are willing to take risks. If a very knowledgeable investment team did research on cetek and found it worthwhile, they'd invest in it.
And why wouldn't you mention what stocks you invest in? I'll tell you. Either because you're not an investor in anything or because all your picks suck and you're embarrassed to say.
You're a poser.
You strike me as one of those people who think they know everything and are so pompus and arrogant that no one wants to be around you.
I hope that Cetek makes us all so much money we can swim in it. I'll invite you to my pool party so I can take care of that chip for you.
Ciao
Thanks,
I just checked it. It seems to be next to its 52week high. I'll keep watching it to see what it does.
Have you ever seen QBID? I just got into it. It seems very tradeable. I'm going to play that one for a while.
I won't tell anyone either...lol
I like the recent releases about aquiring other companies, all the funding they need, looking to be the largest small market cigeratte co.
All good news. If their press releases are half as good as they predict, next year will be very profitable my friends.
I'm the stock curse. If I get in now, it goes down to 2. If I don't, it goes up.
I'll check out that other one you mentioned.
I'm looking for penny stocks because I don't have enough money to make much on big dollar stocks.
OK, ADSX down 53. I feel a little better.
Maybe it will go all the way back down to 2 so I can buy back in.
I'm scared to see what it's at today. I'll check and then come back on here and cry when I see it hit 10.
I'm all out. I'm happy with my move because I doubled my money on WLSF. So I took a loss to get a better gain. The only thing that upsets me is that ADSX took so long to pop. I got out at a good time to buy the wlsf. If ADSX rose one month earlier, I would have made out like a bandit.
This drives me crazy.
I saw that and it seemed like great news but the stock still went down yesterday.
Dare I predict it goes back down to around .70? If it does, I'm buying more and more and more. If I can aquire another thousand shares, I'll swing trade those and keep the rest for the jackpot.
Thanks,
We must stand for something or fall for anything. I'll choose to stand for Christ.
No problem sir. I will let you know as soon as I find anything out.
I'll ask but I don't think he can give much more than he already has. He keeps saying that after Christmas we should see some good gains. Why? I don't know.
It's less than a month away. If we've waited this long, a few more weeks won't kill us.
I just talked to my dad yesterday and he said he hadn't seen the guy for a couple of weeks. I think he's on vacation or something.
I'm going to wait until then and then pry a little more to see what I can get out of this guy.
Actually, smoking is not a sin. People use the scripture that talks about the body being the temple of the Holy Ghost, but Christ said that what goes into a man does not defile him, but what comes out of a man (meaning if his speech or actions are ungodly).
But you are right, we all fall short of God's glory. No one is sin-free. The difference between the children of God and the ungodly is that His children will recognize sin as sin, be sorrowful for committing the act and try to change. I am so sorrowful when I sin and I try to change to serve God better and apologize for my sinful actions.
These days, people want to change God to suit their needs, like the openly gay bishop. They are not sorrowful for their wicked ways. They think that because society is changing, that God is changing with it. Boy is that a bad way of thinking. There is a scripture in Malachi 3 that says God doesn't change His ways.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
6 For I am the LORD, I CHANGE not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
The whole point of belonging to any religion is to try to conform your lifestyle to what it says to do, not try to make up your own rules or pick and choose what you like or don't like about it. It's 100% or nothing with God.
I hope it works out for you. I am one of those people who as soon as I sell a stock, it goes up so I'm holding this one for the long haul.
I held on to ADSX for 2 years and all it did was go down and stay on the bottom. I sold it at $4 to buy more WLSF just 3 weeks ago and now it's up to 7 or so. I swear that stocks wait until I buy them to go down and wait until I sell them to go up, no matter what the time frame is.
If you guys all chip in and send me some money, I'll sell cetek for you and maybe it will go up lol.
This stock scares me because it could just jump up to a nickel in one day with the release of some really good news. I'm not selling until I make some good money on this one.
Funny you should say that. I was talking to one of my best friends last night and I was telling him about it.
I live in Italy but I'm from NYC so I was talking to my friend back home about the gay network. We were cracking up joking about it.
I think it's a great stock pick though, it's bound to go up (no pun intended).
Seriously though,
It's just a sign of the times we live in. The whole world is turning into Soddom and Gomorrah. It won't be long before Christ returns and takes His chosen with Him.
I don't believe in persecuting people for their sins, because I've done plenty of sinning myself. However, I can't turn a blind eye to it and condone it. Accepting sin won't get you a relationship with God.
Someone is wrong, either the Christians or the rest of the world. I guess when we die, we will find out who was right.
I'll take my chances on the Christian side of the battle.
Another great start!! How long and far do you think this will go??
Hey guys, I just got into QBID at .005. Thanks for the tip. I just found out what it was after I bought the shares and I was a little shocked.
I knew it was a television network, but I didn't know it was a gay TV network.
In these crazy times, it probably will take off pretty good. I do feel a little weird about investing in perversion. It's against my beliefs, but since I'm not the one participating, I don't feel bad about trying to make some money in it.
