that is where I heard it. nice call.
I heard that adjective being used 35 years ago on the exchange. In the stage of getting ready to run. I just hope LWLG=Secretariat instead at the Derby instead of a stakes race at Delaware park.
Inversor, which one do I buy more of-LWLG or BCRX. Both of them look runnerish. LWLG getting that look guys. BCRX could be a huge winner and it has already come from 1.43.
Are you lost Buz. This is the NIo board.
Thanks Tony. Excellent presentation by the company
When should we receive an update from Tom? Thankfully I do not follow this as much as I used to because my other stocks are waking up from their slumber.
20 cents should be the resistance line due to warrants receive on previous PP. Canada showing an 18 cent bid for 200k pre-market.
Do not forget that his Chevron owned the property before Nio and he was at the helm. Smith has a very good idea of what is in the ground. I have only one concern and that is will a suitor play hardball with us when it comes to taking over and a minor one concerning the idiots in washington getting involved.
Mark Smith did not come here for a few cents of profit. I am expecting NIO to be north of 1 in 6-9 months and then acquired by a large producer.
I have a hard time seeing who would be a seller here. Some of us have been holding for years and this is the first big piece of news that should move us higher thru the coming months. If the Senate votes like the House and we see top results, I imagine Smith can cut a favorable deal with would be suitors.
Only downside I see is that I am not sure how many companies mine this product so the pool is limited in so far as a bidding war for the right to buy us out. NIO will not be around in 18 months I can assure you.
The key here is whether they will be able to attract a JV partner or an outright buyout of the company. I hope that in the months coming Mark will be working heavily on attracting that angle.
As I stated before Walter, if one of our two investments takes off, then I will be thrilled. Looks like Nio has taken the first step but it is early. Check out the difference in management though. An inactive mine and Smith is able to raise 10 million dollars and also put his hard earned money into the project.
Still have yet to see one of these guys pony up a penny.
He might have regretted living in the great state of Delaware. The only time I enjoy Delaware is when I cross the state line leaving it.
I am sure Jim and Tom cannot wait to hit the airport after the ASM to be headed west.
Not going to get into a discussion about who runs things but I stand by what I posted. A title is only a title. I do not care really as long as the company gets the desired result which it has not so far. WE have no idea who we are working with and we all guess who the LSS is. We just seem to throw darts and hope one sticks. Go back and look at the all the names we were supposedly working with and then nothing. The science of what they are trying to achieve must be mind boggling and that is why I still hold on. Lightwave should have never gone public until they were ready to roll out a product.
Excited about our other investment though. That will be well worth the wait. Also, my biotech plays are hopefully ready to rock as well. That sector is red hot right now with speculation on deals. All you want is to be able to trade and see some volatility.
I still believe Marcelli runs the company. They just shifted his title to put him in the background. The three of them are joined at the hip.
Anyone care to comment on the registration filing?
I think what scares most here is your knowledge of the field and since we have been in limbo for years, anyone upsetting the apple cart is scorned. If it adds to the discussion, then fire away and maybe we can all learn from you. However I do believe you have an agenda. Who wastes time on a message board unless they want to influence it one way or another. With your busy schedule, you seem to have enough time in answering everyone.
You do not have to answer mine because I am a black sheep here but could care less.
I would not mind having Dexter on the BOD.
It will be nice when we finally know what the **** is going on.I remember how upbeat Tom was and that was 13 months ago. People have every right to question this management team. Marcelli expected revenue close to 2 1/2 years ago and zilch. It is what it is,
Maybe this guy is here because things are starting to heat up. I will take anything at this point.
Red, do you actually believe that the whole world will see it at the same time. You have to be kidding me. I can recall countless times where this stock moved up without any news and then the PR materializes either that afternoon or the next day. Do you think management is going to let Sixshot and myself see news before LPC and others. The guy landscaping out in front of headquarters will get a copy before we do. And those guys live a few thousand miles away.
I have been a bullion guy for many years. Nothing stands the test of time like gold and silver. You need to go back and watch Edward G.Robinson in the "Ten Commandments". He is not throwing 20's around.
BSmith has been a good thing for the board and with Invesor mailing questions to the Admiral, maybe the veil of secrecy can be lifted. And maybe the kid can finally get some sleep.
I cannot take credit for the research. The guru of investigative deductions tipped me off to that. I cannot reveal the source unless he wants me to.
The more I do informative work on a company, the more I lose money. LWLG and NIOBF are two good examples. I do 3 hours of work on BCRX and hit a small payday. Go figure. I am born to trade and not to invest unless it is bullion.
GLTA the longs here including yours truly. I hope we get something real soon.
You seem to be a west coast guy. Your post about going back to work when it is dark here has me curious who you are. I assume you are not Greenlee although your posts started when Chuck split from LWLG and moved to the west coast.
I have always been leery of management as well but would you not assume they have something of substance to convey with the hiring of the new PR firm. I could not imagine that Tom would go out on a road show being supported by Stonebridge if it was not kosher. Also, Miller and Leonberger would be embarrassed if this turns out to be a dud.
66 posts for a stock that barely trades. Imagine if we move more than 5 cents in a day.
The battle of the titans here. This could be Ali vs Frazier(Thrilla in Manila). X might come in as a 2:1 underdog but I like his chances. Just hoping he does not have Marcelli as his cut man.
Does X have an evil twin brother? Even though the PPS is stagnant, the amount of posting is impressive. I believe we are very close to some news and I would guess it is good.
I saw it as well thru the help of a young genius and I did a double take when I first read it. Glad to see it was taken down.
Did you see where Boulder Colorado is experiencing the end of days.
lol. If this thing ever comes off, make you you get a prenup. I am going to go back and watch some Peter D. interviews. Be like traveling back in a time machine.
I am glad Peter said only a few weeks. Imagine if he said it would take time. We might be waiting until the next decade.
I will bet the ranch on 54.
Use Stonegate to get interest to push the stock up and then hit LPC for more cash while LPC has a boatload to sell new suckers(I mean investors).
I wonder what the Cordevano buyout will be.
I need a translator for your post and I believe you were speaking to Proto. He is the only one that understands your messages because he was once kicked in the head by a mule.
Who says we are depressed. Just put in the right management if this one cannot get it done. Their track record speaks for itself.
This is just a message board and nothing else.
A different way to look at LWLG.
I consider LWLG to be a biotech now. Any of the posters care to speculate where we are in the process? I am assuming the LSS is the FDA and they have the final say.
Let me get this straight. We had a CEO tell us to expect revenue in 2010, countless promises unfulfilled, not one of these guys has a bought a share of stock and long term shareholders are the whiners. You are the guy that thinks Lockheed is on the table after Tom said they were out of the running. It is all about the share price and we sit at near all time lows.
Been here since 2009 and still expect something to come but it will not be because of management.
These small companies with zero institutional representation will never kick out a bad manager especially if he has the BOD in his pocket. You need big shareholders to step up and we are not going to see it here. My whole reason for even being here is Miller. If he drops off the board then the shareholder base will be down to nothing.
I am already looking forward to next summer at the ASM when they dress Babu up as an Indian servant and make him serve tea to the three shareholders left(Proto,X and Nitro).
Buz, what exactly are we waiting on from the company. Is it the completion of a modulator, a transceiver or something else from the LSS. The ASM seems like it was 6 months ago. It seems like the only time we get the talking heads together to tell us they are on the right track.
My guess is Fred and Lou are doing most if not all the work now.
That will be the best day in our history if it ever comes to that.
If he was not running this company, he would have been long gone by now. There is no accountability here and I was hoping Tom would be different. I believe Jim and Tom are joined at the hip along with IR and no one is breaking up this act. I also believe Jim is calling the shots and was demoted in position only but still gets paid a nice sum of money. The company is headquartered in Delaware yet the CEO and COO reside in Colorado. Makes perfect sense.
