EZ - Caught it! :) eom
EZ - Very interesting article! I particularly liked this part:
"It could also be (companies) who operate sports services, event organising or people who provide different kinds of financial services," said Mao.
Wake up people! Our transient from the RB Board has been quite successful in disrupting this board by monopolizing it by way
of having each one of you repeatedly respond to him. I am disappointed. IMAN, nice try in keeping it of the 'open' forum.
IMAN - May I have your consent to use that sage advice in my treatment sessions tonight? Sorry, fee splitting is not allowed!
What a pathetic joke! Another $64.00 trade ( 200 shares @ 0.32 ). When will the manipulation cease?
So much for the power of positive thinking. Well, possibly Cisco's report will give the Markets a jump start tomorrow. Geez, that sounds like some more positive thinking!!!
Well, okay, I don't know about the rest of you, but I am about as ready as I can be for a GREEN day! I know, Mr. Greenspan is
capable of ruining a wet dr___, but I believe that these Markets
better get some positive thinking from us investors real soon. So, shoot me for trying to get things moving in a positive direction......
One Final Comment ( before I head to happy hour ). In reading over today's posts, like those from funincolo, ThorsHammer and
TFN, it became clear, that this was an excellent example of a stock message board at it's best! I would like to thank those that contributed to today's discussion and especially EZ and Tin for making it possible. Enjoy the weekend, All.
fun - I do not disagree with what you wrote, but since markets have been down for a significant period of time many investors have been licking their chops for so long that their lips are chapped and their pockets empty! IMO, it's going to take a rather significant event, series of events, or a sustained market increase before we begin to see a return of investor confidence and significant monies flowing into securities once again.
Heard this morning that Mr. buffett is preparing to move aside.
May have some others working with your money.
BUCKLE-UP, Here We Go Again!!!
9:10AM: The futures are trending lower since the release of the worse than expected employment data...An interesting trend over the last few sessions is that the Nasdaq has been reversing its pattern mid-day. If it opens higher, it trends lower and vice versa. The 1640 level has acted as a short term floor over the last four sessions. These are levels not seen since mid-October. The Nasdaq has fallen 10% in just the past two weeks...There are few big movers thus far. Sonic Solutions (SNIC 7.05) is up 22% in the pre-market as it beat consensus and boosted guidance...
CSFB is cutting estimates on Ciena (CIEN 7.05) while Goldman Sachs is doing the same with Oracle (ORCL 8.55)...Current indications: S&P 500 futures are -1.30, or 2.3 pts below fair value. Nasdaq 100 is unch, or 1 pt above fair value. Nas 100 PMI +0.64.
Important Information For Today's Investors:

Terribly disappointing and very, very discouraging! Yes, I know " HRCT is a long term investment " and I plan on holding, but this
pps deterioration, on the heels of shareholder meetings, is not at all encouraging!
Well, I do not know how anybody else feels, but I am very glad that this trading week is nearly over! It seems so long since the Markets
have had any significant, positive momentum maintained that I am
reminded of a novel from the 60's entitled; Been Down So Long, It
Feels Like Up! Everyone, enjoy your weekend and I'll see you in the trenches on Monday.
Haijek - I really want to believe in your ability to 'see' HRCT's future, but having John Edward as your source does not make me feel very confident!!!
That's funny, I thought you two were married? Ah, learn something every day!
n-tres-ted, Thanks for your summary statement on the meeting.
When I saw the ongoing debate on semantics between IMAN and
lookslikecrap and then noticed MsAllorNone was also present, I thought that I had logged-in on the RB board by mistake!
Rogo788 - Please tell me you are not basing your investment decisions on what you read on these panic-driven, the sky-is- falling message boards!
With some very positive accomplishments being discussed and promising forward looking information being offered, it seems unfortunate that so much time is being devoted to, what appears to be, a non-issue. I guess that's the nature of things; people
preying on other's insecurities!
jedigit - See Tin-Berrygood's post # 8121. Hope that helps!
Don't know if this was posted:
Cisco to back up CRNet expansion
(04/19/2002) (China Daily)
Cisco Systems, the US network equipment giant, announced on Thursday it has been chosen by China Railcom to conduct their second phase expansion of online network, the CRNet.
Following the expansion, CRNet will offer a 10G link connecting Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and 125 other Chinese cities, making it one of the world's largest broadband networks.
CRNet is a high-speed public Internet network, offering integrated services including dial-up and DDN access, as well as value-added services like VPN, IP voice and video conferencing.
Rick Justice, Cisco's senior vice-president of Worldwide Field Operations in Beijing, announced the deal and expressed his appreciation of China Railcom's vision in market expansion and network construction.
"When this second phase of expansion is completed, CRNet will, I believe, contribute to the development of China's broadband communications and market prosperity."
As data services continue to develop in China and become an increasingly necessary tool for both individuals and enterprises, telecom operators are looking to broadband networks to drive growth and revenue. Last year, Chinese data subscribers increased by more than 100 per cent over the previous year, reaching a total of 33.22 million users.
The construction of broadband networks like CRNet will eliminate bottlenecks and allow operators to move ahead of subscriber growth.
CRNet's second phase network expansion will deploy Cisco's 12,400-Gigabyte routers. The project is expected to finish by the third quarter. Co-operation for the new phase of expansion is part of a long-term strategic partnership between Cisco and China Railcom.
Well, Mr. Greenspan talks and everybody leaves for the beach. Come to think of it, not
a bad idea considering the weather here in NY. cya tomorrow!
Well, HRCT reports a very promising 10KSB late Monday and on Tuesday the Markets explode ( DJIA +207; NASDAQ +63 ), but HRCT's
pps drops 18%. Not very logical. However, I have seen such phenomenon before especially when the MM had information of pending news and were anticipating a nice run-up...Nah, probably just wishful thinking on my part!
Remember ThinkersGroup.com? Well, this appeared in today's Newsday. Life, it is truly amazing!

mmayr - The larger the research N the more powerful the significance. Just be prepared to bring your own 'paper' and
munchies! LOL
Research Is Important....Well, until this Market gets it's act in gear, I have decided to further medical science by volunteering for a profound study on the treatment of migraine.
Possibly, if it is successful, I wouldn't care what happens!!!

Nice exchange of information today. Thanks to those who posted. Enjoy the weekend, all!!!
My favorite part of today's PR in reference to the signed agreements:
Dr. Wallace Ching said, "The
agreements have generated revenue from day one, and we expect a very healthy
growth in this business as the mobile data market continues to expand."

Subject: HRCT
Dear Linda, As A long time and long term shareholder of HRCT I will like to say welcome, we need you. We have been through many IR firms without much success so I have a few questions. What is your specific plan for building shareholder value for HRCT and ETLK? How do you plan to accomplish this? What are the credentials that your company brings to HRCT? I would be especially interested in the credentials of the people working on our account. Thank you in advance.

Nice of "You know who" to copy and paste that post for us from RB..lol..ET has never been anything but a (partially) Government owned telecom that has never had very much success in the past...A few years ago ETNS was able to acquire the cable that runs North to South along the most populated coast of China...This gave them much more potential value..It's not surprising that ETLK had a rough year last year...There aren't too many telecoms that didn't..Especially the smaller ones...Ask Richard Li...He lost a good portion of his behind recently....
So if all this is so bad over at ETLK what could Hrct possibly want with it?....Well, imho...Russelle Choi who runs ET and ETNS is a hard working focused CEO that has a plan to make ET extremely profitable with it's offering of long distance, voice, data/fax, calling card, and VOIP services through advanced, scaleable networks.
The past few PR's worry the bashers because it is a true sign that ET is making headway in their pursuit of a global network...Now that they have partnered up with Great Wall, Jitong, China Netcom and now EADS Multicoms, along with U.S. partners AT&T Corp., Cignal Global Ltd., Frontier Telecom Ltd. and MCI Worldcom Inc, they have come a long way in a short period of time and that much closer to completing a worldwide network...
So if you look at last years results you might just think ET has nothing going for it..But if you've been around here long enough you may be aware of ET's potential and plan for the future that is being executed in rapid fashion.....ET is growing and Hrct is lucky to have them as a sub..The best is yet to come..imho....Aloha
Wow! It looks like I missed a good, no a bad, or maybe just an interesting....nah, never mind.
Would like to see some positive trading on this issue today...for that matter, any day...in the near future!!!
I concur with you in that I, too, HOPE THAT YOU ARE WRONG!!! lol
Well, we might have gained a little insight into this day's trading. It would appear that the tree shaking resulted in few,
if any selling. I just wonder if...:)
gustavagans - I am sure that there is some 'meaning' behind the
trading pattern we are all witnessing, but on this OTCBB Board, unless you can get into the mind of the manipulators it's anybody's guess!!!
boatRgirl - Do not give it a second thought. If you hadn't provided the soapbox/stage, it would have been found somewhere
else. You have private mail.
Thanks, Mark! Now back to the staffing for me....
Any word ( leaks ) on how the Fed meeting is going? I believe 2:30PM the official Fed position is announced, right? TIA
When we begin to see 10x this number in daily trading, I will
begin to smile. Until then......
