Ok Derfie...thanks. ...sigh (it is Derfie this time, I hope.)
I don't see Fidelity in there. Weren't they under investigation too.
So far American Funds is ok too. Wonder how long that will last though.
I am sick of these crooks!
Sorry, Soxy...forgive me for calling you Derfie. I don't do mornings well. LOL
Thanks, Derfie...That sounds encouraging. I don't mind waiting if there's a chance for them.
I've been averaging down...was thinking of doing it one more time as it drops even lower. Can't take a tax loss or I woulda dumped it long ago.
#### the American Way! I want my dollars back.
Derfie....what you think about SUNW? Are they going down the tubes without Joy?
And shopping! LOL
And then there's the mutual fund industry! What other little secrets are going to be divulged?
Squeaky clean industry, indeed!
Thar you go! Like I said...He's a wussy!
in "the interest of the institution." ROFL
Grasso is a wussy. He bowed to all the pressure and is giving up $48 million!
Oops...was in a hurry earlier and missed your post.
Here you go....
http://www.interknowledge.com/bahamas/bsanin01.htm
I don't think I'll touch that one...lol
Ahem...Mr. Churak, I am not thinking of San Andres Islands.
Do you like bone fishing? Check it out...

It is a bit musty, isn't it. Well, back to the fresh air (the Grotto).
Andros Island is in the Bahamas...but I believe it's off the beaten track as far as touristas go.
You too, FD....(response on travel board).
Get thee bod over to the Travel board for a response. ;)
I can't read...thought it was #200 instead of #120!
Fung Derf...Thanks. I've bookmarked the site for Playa for future reference.
I've never been to the Bahamas ...your mention of Abacos Island rings a faint bell. Have you ever heard of Andros Island?
Did I just get a grub?
WTMHouston...I don't remember all that much about Galveston except for Guido's! Even over 20 years ago, the water wasn't inviting. I can only imagine what it's like now.
I've heard of Rose Hall and the legend behind the name. Also been to Ocho Rios...the waterfall is a must see (experience) but only if completely sober. LOL We usually stay here...

Thanks, Matt...I didn't even know about that board. Will respond to any messages directed to me there.
That's so sad, Tate. I read about the Haitians who try to come to our shores all the time...they seem so desperate.
There doesn't seem to be a solution for them, however ...and that's even sadder.
FD - now that you put it that way, I'm interested in Playa Del Carmen. I really didn't like Cancun or Acapulco at all. Puerto V. wasn't as bad but have no desire to go back there.
Topless? Only your son's favorite part? Yeah, right. ;)
The Europeans mostly go topless in Jamaica - my other half wouldn't allow me to...such a prude! But I did notice he couldn't take his eyes off those who did!!!
I witnessed poverty in most countries I've visited, unfortunately.
What is it about Haiti you liked? I've never heard anyone mention it before as a good place to go to.
Tate...I don't know what the iron market is but being there alone ...in Haiti, sounds kinda scary unless I have the wrong impression of the place!
And trying to buy your hair? That's funny.
Was the lunch good? ;)
If Cayman's water (and other things) is that superior to Jamaica, indeed, it must be something to see and experience! Seriously...I'm not trying to be facetious.
Everything you've described is how I would describe the places we stayed in Montego Bay...except for the crime. However, our hotel was so well guarded (gated), it never affected us as long as we stayed on the grounds. Of course, during the day it wasn't a problem to go wherever we wanted.
So tell me, Troy ...on a scale of 1 to 10, how does Cayman compare to Galveston? LOL I haven't been there in years but as I recall it wouldn't be worth the drive anymore except perhaps for a great seafood place called Guido's (sp?). I wonder if it still exists...this was over 20 years ago?
Hmmmm...yep, that one is good too but I liked the first one better. LOL
"digital penile oscillation" ROFL Very Good!
If we could make it there and back in approx 6-7 days and still have time to really enjoy the trip, I would love it.
Unfortunately, other half hath spoken! No more long trips.
Spoilsport! :(
You familiar with golfers and their cronies? Enuff said?
Cancun was the biggest disappointment...not only the commercial aspect but they had a red flag out the entire time we were there indicating it wasn't safe to go into the water...albeit I wouldn't have gone in anyway as it just looked dirty to me. The clear, aqua-colored water in Jamaica spoiled us, methinks.
I hardly spent any time in Cayman. We always had a direct flight from Atlanta to Montego Bay but for whatever reason, on one occasion our plane touched down there for about an hour or so...just enough for me to have to answer yes at an IRA audit when asked if I had ever been there. Talk about a red flag! LOLOLOL (it really wasn't funny ;)
St. Martin sounds ideal actually.
FD...We have always done the "all inclusive"...mostly in Jamaica. Have tried Acapulco, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta but always return to Montego Bay as nothing else compared to it. Have only spent a couple of nights in Hawaii...when traveling to and from Hong Kong a few years ago.
I'm always willing to try something new...that's why St. Martin interested me and now Playa Del Carmen. Am assuming it's in Mexico too??
Have also passed through Cayman Islands...will have to tell you a funny story about the IRS in connection with my very brief visit there some day. LOL
I'm a few hours late reading your post, Mokew. It's been that kind of day!
Haven't had a chance to find out what got into this market today, much less do any research on St. Martin. We've been looking for a new playground...am hoping it will be the one.
I'll have to look it up. I've heard it mentioned by others...now my curiousity is aroused. ;)
What's so great is not having to mess with your hair while on vacation. One could go swimming in the ocean, spritz it with something the good ladies sold to me, shower and be ready to go out for the evening. No blow-drying...nothing. I wish it were in style here year around.
Have never been to St. Martin. I don't think I really know exactly where it's located???
Yep. The women in Jamaica hang around the hotels and do it right there on the street.
Gee Tate...I'd really like to see your dreadlocks. I had it done once in Jamaica (if we're talking the same thing). It was great...lasted forever but played hell undoing it when I got home.
I've found that most posters on these stock message boards are loads of fun and outgoing.
I'm fairly new here but have been thoroughly enjoying the experience. Hah! And I was going to limit the time I spent on my 'puter! How can I when it's so delightful? LOL
Did you look at the site today? Susie's picture is there too...another cutie.
Am trying to find out who the gal is in the newspaper clipping.
A cutie like her? I know you guys! LOL
LOL......Vos ist lose mit ze pictore?
