Hey guys,
Long time I haven't posted or been keeping up with the board. However, I'd like to say that I'm very excited about the aquisition (old news I know). I do think it will be some time before they are able to turn the place around and start making profits from it. My guess is at least a year.
Now, here's some mysteries for you research hounds. I don't have the resources or the time or insight to really search these things out, so some of you might be able to take this and find some stuff out. I really don't know where to start looking for these answers so I'll leave it to some of you experts.
Back about 10 years ago, this stock was trading over a dollar. 1.75 to be exact. They also did a reverse split around that time.
Here's some questions maybe some of you can find the answers to
1. why did the stock go sub penny in the first place?
2. What kind of money was the company earning at the time it was over a buck?
3. Will this aquisition put Cetek in a better position than it was at that time?
Have fun looking for the answers and I hope something valuable gets found out from looking into this.
Il Padrino.
Chucker and GR,
Thanks for the info, that makes me feel better. GR, to answer your question as to why I dont call the guy myself is twofold. One, I dont know either the guy or his son. Two, I live in Italy and cant meet them in person. If I knew the guy, Id feel more comfortable about talking to him. I dont know if he would be reluctant to talk to me since we dont know each other. He might get scared away and not even talk to my dad anymore.
However, it is a good idea.
I just found the apostrophy on this keyboard'''! I realized why it was in such a remote spot...Italian doesn't have contractions therefore it is useless in their language.
Hefe,
Im just as much in the dark as everyone else. I have no clue as to why or when this can or will happen. I get this from my dads friend whos son works for the company. I dont know anything more. I asked my dad to ask this guy if he knew anything else but they dont see each other very much. If I hear anything else I will let you know. I dont really rely much on this info because I dont know if its reliable or not.
However, I am a little nervous because I dont know if this is starting to cross the line as inside information. I dont think it is because its just heresay really. If there are specific dates, etc, I think it would be inside information and therefore illegal for me to act on it.
Please dont rely on any of these posts as bond. Im just repeating what could be a bad rumor or false hope. On the other hand it could be accurate and good info. I honestly have no idea which. I promised some people that if I heard anything else, I would post it, so I did.
Sorry I cant help you anymore. Believe me, if I knew more, Id tell you. I want to know more myself.
She is great. I just got orders to Osan so as soon as I can, I will apply for a follow on to Aviano so I can retire here and be with her forever. But if Cetek pays off, I might not even have to make the trip. Vedremo. Tu parli LItaliano abbastanza bene anche se non sei stato qui in tanto tempo. Bravo.
ok guys, i know its been a long time, but they blocked my internet access at work so I cant get on here very much anymore. Im using my girlfriends computer now with an italian keyboard and its a little different so Im trying to get used to it. I cant find the apostrophy so forgive my bad punctuation. Anyway, I do have some more heresay if anyone is interested. Once again, this is just what I hear so dont ask for any more info because I dont know. The minute I hear anything else, Ill try my best to get to a computer to post it.
Here goes:
My dad talked to his friend and the guy said to expect between 4 and 10 dollars a share. I dont know why or when this is supposed to happen. Thats all I know. It sounds like a dream to me, but Ill keep my fingers crossed until it happens.
Sorry I dont have anything more. If you reply to this message, it will be a long time before I can respond so please be patient.
Anyway, my daughter is crying so I have to go.
Happy trading.
Please dont take any of this to heart because I have no idea if this info is reliable, im just repeating what i hear.
Ciao
I hope not. I'm just ready to see the ball start rolling here. I'm a pack rat by nature and I don't think that I'll sell before I reach a certain goal. I guess my impatience is more of an excitement I have for this stock.
I think it does. Every time he said it, it seemed like he had some underlying plan as to why a R/S wasn't necessary. He said it with such confidence that I think he's telling the truth.
Let's all hope that he has everything under control and that by the end of the year, we will all be happy.
Any word on the supposed second PR?
Low volume trading last few days. Maybe it's the calm before the storm. I am not known for my patience and I can't wait for them to start selling the cigarettes. I know it will be probably a few years before we see some real share value, but I want them to hurry up and get things going NOW!!
Don't worry buddy, in a few months, you'll be smoking your Silvertons and loving them. Here's something that I would like for you to do if possible.
When you switch to Silverton, see if you notice a difference in your ability to breathe and taste food, etc. If the tar is cut out, then you should be healthier and breathe better.
Thanks, that clears a lot up for me.
But according to confederate, there were buyers lined up and the shares weren't sold. I'd think that would be because no one wants to sell their shares and there aren't any available to buy.
If all the O/S are always owned by someone, does that mean that the company owns the ones the public doesn't?
Do you think that could be because all the O/S are bought up again like last time? I remember that the share price wasn't really moving because of that so they did the split. If no one wants to sell, we might see a split again to get the price moving.
That would be awesome geoly, thanks. I have a feeling that it won't be too informative though, but will have hopeful statements. Fayiz is a master of vaugeness...he'd make a great psychiatrist.
You're telling me!
That would be a nice little nest egg for me in my old age. I think a more reasonable target is $20, but I really do belive that even $100 is possible. Time will tell.
I would assume that he meant the most profitable quarter since we know other quarters had 100% growth. But if this quarter was 50% more profitable than the last quarter, that makes this one the best quarter.
If they are growing at a rate of 100% a year, that is huge news. How many companies actually do something like that? Heck, most companies would be happy with 10% growth annually.
Good call, what's your source if you can say?
Yea,
It's strange that with all of the great news that the stock has been trading lower than normal.
Hi Gary,
If that is the case, maybe Fayiz was planning this for a while. I really hope the PR rumors are true and that we will hear something of an SEC filing or acquisition perhaps. Something of the sort could really get this stock moving. The activity is interesting and positive. I just might have to move some things around to buy some more shares before this supposed PR hits. I think if there is one, it will be great news.
I know one thing: If this stock takes off, I'll send a nice little note to Due Dillinger and invite him to my pool party in my Italian Villa.
God bless,
Sal
I agree that whatever happens will be good. I think that we're looking at a very good news release next time and some substantial info. They could be ready to give out the info that we all have been waiting for if indeed the PR is coming.
I recall what my dad's friend said, "expect some good news sometime after Christmas".
I thought it was the PR that came out in Dec, and I wasn't so impressed. But if this PR that you guys are talking about is real, it could be the one that this guy was talking about.
Let's hope so...I could be out of the military in a couple of months if that is the case.
I would love to retire early and stay in Italy forever.
Maybe he needed the money for a move that would propel the company into new highs and couldn't wait. Sometimes in the business world, you have to take risks to make gains.
For instance, I sold short on ADSX and CMGI to buy WLSF. It payed off royally and I doubled my money.
Maybe he needed the cash to buy another facility and couldn't have done it any other way. It would be better than taking out a loan and paying interest on it, IMO.
I'm just guessing here, no knowledge on anything, but it could have been the right thing to do at the time.
Another one is ADSX. It R/S last year and is doing well.
Where are you guys hearing about this PR?
I don't think so for a few reasons. One because of his oughtright denial of such a thing. Two because of the supposed buyback and C, because he seems to be certain of the no R/S because of reasons that we are unaware of.
Even if a R/S does happen, I don't think it will be that bad for the stock as long as it happens while it is a pink sheet stock. It is virtually unknown now and if we get on a real market most people won't know about the R/S and would still be willing to buy.
I think we'll be OK.
I was reading the end of year news release and I came across this statement again that really caught my attention this time:
"Our original business plan's objective was to become a fully reporting public company as revenue growth dictated. It would be likely that we will see this objective met by the end of 2005. And, based on this and other anticipated developments in the new year, it would be reasonable to begin seeing Cetek's stock prices realize its rightful pricing, based on our fundamentals and based on simple audited performance."
If this company becomes a fully reportable company by the end of the year, it's very likely that we could see those big numbers we've all been hoping for.
There was another statement that said growth in 2005 is a definite.
I think that we will all just have to deal with the vauge info that we get until Cetek is a reporting company. I can wait a year to see a few million in my pocket. Until then, I'll just keep buying a little at a time to position myself for that big payoff.
I think Fayiz is trying to keep the price low to keep the cost of the buyback down. If he can buy at .002 instead of .05 that's a huge savings when you're talking millions of shares. It's the smart thing to do. That's the only reason I could see why he wouldn't release real numbers, especially if they're a profitable company.
Why else would he purpously seem to want to keep the share price down? That has to be the reason.
I'm sticking with Cetek because I believe that this company will be trading on the Nasdaq in the near future.
Guys, this stock could be the lottery ticket that we all have been waiting for.
OK, the website is down again. I was going to send them an email as if I was interested in their product to see if they would give me some price and spec info. But since the website is down, I can't do that.
Maybe it's down because they're upgrading again and getting ready for the big news release about them working with Dell Computers to produce all of their laptop screens.
That was a joke...rumor control guys.
I sure don't. I do remember reading that they have customers in england.
The big thing that's killing us is that we are left to speculate everything. I wish we knew how much a substrate costs and who they're dealing with.
You learn something new everyday. I thought that they didn't have to file as an OTC.
Well, confederate was right and I am happier because it is better that he was right.
Wow, I didn't think they could cost that much. That's a big difference and would make the $80M figure seem more realistic.
You can be sure as soon as WLSF has reportable earnings;they will move to Nasdaq.
I'm not so sure about that. Many companies have earnings but they don't have to report them unless they plan on getting off the penny stock listings. Apparently, filing with the SEC takes time and money. As long as Wellstone stays on the OTC they don't have to report squat. Hand might prefer that for a while and elect to stay on the OTC.
I see Wellstone getting off the OTC, but not as soon as you think. I hope you're right and I'm wrong, but I think that the end of 06 will be a more realistic timeframe. You have to consider that they will be paying off debts and such this year. It will take about a year for them to figure out what to expect as far as sales goes.
To buyback 3B shares right now to get the O/S under 100M would take $12M. I don't see Fayiz spending that much money on a buyback when it could be used towards other things.
Where did Roundmot say the $80M in sales was probable? I missed that somewhere.
If that is the case, then maybe buying back 3B shares is possible, but $80M is a huge number for selling ceramic substrates. Anyone have any idea how much one of those things would cost a buyer? I can't see it being more than $50 depending on the size.
So, if the average cost of a substrate is $50, Cetek would have to sell 1.6M of those things a year to reach $80M in sales.
I guess it's possible if they land some contracts with cell phone and computer manufacturers.
I hear ya,
The main question is what is this stock really worth? I've heard everything from .05-$10.
How can one accurately figure this out? These are all hypothetical questions because I don't think anyone can give a secure answer.
For you, it seems to be .25 Universal Trader sees $3.75. My dad's friend said $10 is possible. And then there was the nightmare I had which saw the stock go to $9.30.
Right now I'd be happy with .01. At least it's a move up.
What we are dealing with here is a non reporting company that has something up its sleeve which no one knows about. Or so it would seem... If there was some serious news about this company I would think that the info would leak somehow. Presidents can't even keep things secret for long, I find it hard to believe that with all the employees, etc, there wouldn't be at least rumors if there was anything solid.
Look how fast info can spread. My dad's friend mentioned some stuff to him in NY, who told me in Italy, who posted it on a worldwide message board, which was relayed by someone else on another message board and so on.
People love to tell secrets so I have a feeling either nothing big is happening or if there is, Fayiz is the only one that knows about it.
Right now, the only thing from keeping me from selling out and buying more WLSF is the fact that Fayiz is such a mystery and the small possibility that this stock could hit a dollar in the near future. Not to mention the fact that their product seems to be very useful and unique.
I'll stick with this stock for another 2 years. If I don't see anything, I'll just move on and try my chances elsewhere.
My dad's friend's son works there but he hasn't given any information except that his son is very optimistic about the company.
I am beginning to think that this guy doesn't know much and isn't a very wise investor. My dad doesn't really know him that well, he's just another guy who works in the same building with him so I am hesitant to ask for more information.
If you're going by shear numbers, then sure it would take that. But, couldn't hype alone cause the stock to rise? Wasn't that the case with all the dot com stocks in the early 90's? They had absolutely no profit and some operated at a loss, but their stocks soared to incredible highs.
What if they make a huge deal with a major company and generate alot of interest and buying is sparked?
Take that, add a buyback and possibly a reverse merger, and we can make over $1.
I think you're right about the buyback though. As long as it keeps going on, we won't see any real press releases.
I wouldn't mind this stock staying where it is for a while so I can get some more shares at this price. I was able to pick up 1100 shares at .88 the other day so I was very happy about that.
Once this stock splits again, I will have a very nice ammount of shares that could potentially buy me a house for cash with enough left over to have a nice savings account.
I don't think we will see serious gains until after the first quarter of sales. By the end of the year we should see $5 at least.
I'm sure that somewhere down the road, this stock will get off the OTC and go to the AMEX or NASDAQ. We're looking at some time though. If I was to guess, I'd say by the end of 2006 we should see, at the least, Wellstone filing with the SEC to do that.
We are on track to be a few dollars richer in a year or so.
I really hope that we have a winner here like Audible. Could you imagine if it hit $10?
I'm a believer and I think that this stock could certainly do that. It will just take some patience and the right moves by management.
I had a dream this weekend that CEtek went up to $9.30 and that very day, etrade changed their website and I couldn't figure out how to sell my stock. By the time I figured it out, it went all the way back down to the penny range.
Some stupid little animated character on the etrade website was laughing at me because of the trouble I was having.
That was a horrible dream. I hope that it goes up, but I also hope I can sell the shares.
Actually, if you read the bible, it talks about giants in Gen 6:4.
Evolution teaches that we started out small and ape like, but the bible teaches that we started out bigger and are degressing. That's why our wisdom teeth must be pulled out because our mouths are too small compared to what they used to be.
There was a short period in the dark ages where we lost all wisdom, medicine, etc and got sick and lived shorter lives and everything. It would seem today that we are better off now, but it's like a stock market graph. The dark ages were a dip and we are increasing now but overall, we are smaller than the original people.

Thanks,
So, what happens to the people who do that and how can the stock get back to it's correct asking price? I'd assume that they'd be fined and possibly get jail time.
