Sounds like a conference call at 1:15. Can't imagine the company would hold a cc to confirm bad news.

GMCR - The ETF had doubled its bet against Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) before hedgie David Einhorn blasted the stock earlier this month. "We have concerns over their acquisition-accounting methods, and we think longer-term their profit margins are at significant risk," says Del Vecchio. "We think it still could fall another 50% from here."It ended the week around $65; in mid-September it hit about $111.

Yeah I couldn't paper trade either. I learn better doing it for real. Money management is the biggest thing which I need to work on.
If we get another green candle on Monday and it breaks 74 then it could be real interesting. If so I would expect a pullback on Tuesday. Hopefully I can make a decent profit off of these calls because my Nov 4 $55 puts aren't looking too hot. If it trades flat for a few days I'm fucked...lol
13788 sh buy just went off at 70.99 ah
This could be a huge run with the rumors of Starbucks (which I think are a joke), news of the new facility in Virginia, and short covering.
I wouldn't be suprised to see this close at 72 or close to it from the way it's trading.
Bought GMCR Nov 4 75 Calls at 2.15
Yeah GMCR has been a tough one the last few days. There is a lot of support in that 68.6 area. Be nice to see it break through that, hold, and start back down.
I like the Puts for next week. IMO possible high of 73.50 then head back down. Just a matter of how fast...hopefully fast!
thx, it was a nice quick score considering my GMCR Nov 4 Puts are down over 50%. May add some of those next week but I'm going to wait and see how it trades.
Sold GMCR wklys at 1.45 from .74
Bought GMCR 67.5 wkly C @.74
GMCR - The move higher in shares of Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) is being attributed to speculation that Starbucks (SBUX) may take a stake in the company. However, an 8-K filing by Starbucks on March 10 pertaining to the sales and distribution agreement between both companies' states that Starbucks will be limited in its ability to acquire Green Mountain's common stock or propose any extraordinary Green Mountain transactions.
