GMCR - The move higher in shares of Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) is being attributed to speculation that Starbucks (SBUX) may take a stake in the company. However, an 8-K filing by Starbucks on March 10 pertaining to the sales and distribution agreement between both companies' states that Starbucks will be limited in its ability to acquire Green Mountain's common stock or propose any extraordinary Green Mountain transactions.
