In 16170316, Privitera acted on his own and tried to argue the uniqueness was the mobile system. He added a note to the prosecutor saying he was trying to continue on a very limited budget in a difficult situation. In 16171107 and 09, IBAT traverses all rejections, and claims the selective interconnection system directing the input brine. Also, IBAT used Buchalter attorneys from the funds Ensorcia advanced.
Who owns this patent? It’s quite different than the other two. Privitera signed everything for it. Burba is not on it
Privitera’s patent application #16170316 received a final rejection today, on 10-19-20
Bullish on South American lithium
[We continue to forecast lithium prices will begin to rise in late 2021. We maintain our $125, $13, and $57 per share fair value estimates for Albemarle (ALB), Livent (LTHM), and SQM (SQM), respectively. /i]

Well, We here at ibat have been risking everything for the last 3 years.
“One of the regulator’s challenges is to establish a common set of standards for different users of both fresh water and brine in the Atacama basin.“. Hopefully using DLE technologies.

Makes sense
That’s how I take it. I have looked, unsuccessfully, where/what the yamara salar is. Maybe you can find it.
Burba says they will be pumping water from the coast as make up water. That seems like a far way to pump.
Here it says Sorcia minerals is the wholly owned subsidiary of Ensorcia Metals Corp. It is doing business in Chile.

But in the agreement it says Chemphys holds 20% of sorcia minerals, Ibat 10%, and Ensorcia 70% so it wouldn’t be wholly owned by Ensorcia.
Ensorcia Argentina LLC (“EAL) is another wholly owned subsidiary of Ensorcia Metals. https://www.mining.com/web/international-battery-metals-announces-second-licensing-agreement-ensorcia-metals-corp-lithium-extraction-technologies-argentina
The patent will be assigned to IBAT once granted. Any other way would be outrageous for us shareholders
Nah this is merely the teaser trailer
Why doesn’t burba put that he is CEO of ibat on linked in
I believe they are Swiss companies.
https://www.cofigen.ch/en/team/board-of-directors - Monserrat DEL VALLE - Beaty
Integra Energy Group AG- Micheal maltzoff.
Beaty is still a mystery to me. Could it be connected to Maltzoff??
I bought my first shares here two and a half years ago for .39/share... LOL... but I have never felt better in IBAT! Lets GO!
He is pretty sobering on the lithium clay industry, and in general how the economics of rare earth mining have not worked in this country. Thanks for posting
If you ever find where you read that, please post
Read post #382
Nice find! Interesting new development
Burba talks about the desalination systems around the 2:30 mark in this video.

I dont remember the desalination system purchase.
Wow, Bowles is really going to quote Mao Zedong about Marxism?
When you get the opportunity to produce in Chile, you take it. Hopefully IBAT intends to produce domestically in the future too.
News on the second patent, 16/171,109
https://globaldossier.uspto.gov/#/details/US/16171109/A/100792
It is very similar to the previous patent.
Do you think the major players with existing evaporation ponds will abandon them right away, or will only new projects use the new tech?
Lilac solutions has been making headlines lately. What is your take on them?
Excellent insights Market Stalker, everyone on the board appreciates it. It has to be frustrating for Burba that the examiner did not see it as selective. She is a newbie at USPTO.

Sometimes I have more luck on PAIR using the application number than the publication number.
I cant get either to work with the assignment search.
They have to have an agm, don’t they?

Well we have 2.5 million ( Canadian) in funds now.
Elon’s not the only guy looking for lithium. Competition will catch up. Particularly in Asia. And I believe dle can be cheaper than clay stone mining with less of a footprint. ( you are not digging up an entire valley nor trucking in salt or acids and diesel)
Daniel Jimenez, partner at Chile-based consultancy firm IliMarkets, expressed doubts about the extraction of lithium from clay using salt, and its projected low cost, as announced by Musk during the Tesla event.
“[Mass adoption of] EVs is coming faster, driven by [economies of] scale and lower costs,” Jimenez said about Musk’s ambitious plan to reduce battery production costs. This had the ultimate objective of slashing the cost of EVs, which would speed their uptake compared with traditional internal combustion engine vehicles.
“A localized supply chain might be good from a safety/geopolitical perspective, but not necessarily on cost. But it will happen,” Jimenez added, referring to Tesla’s hopes to vertically integrate and localize supply chains.

I’m not saying clay stone isn’t coming, but it’s hardly a “claymate”. Best of luck to us both.
I’m here till the end.
I am still hopeful. It could have been worse. They could have drove this sub penny, RS, and then finance with Layton effectively wiping us out.
This board is about to get a lot quieter. Was a pleasure chatting to you. Will you keep your existing shares?
