No consensus between the bidder and the seller
due, At least now I have two known variables to play with..the outstanding and AS..The market cap is calculated based on OS..he came out clean on that today..what is our market cap based on 64,394,000 shares ? At 4.5 cents, it is just 3 million dollars range..The question is, do hemi desever a higher market cap than that ? My answer is a resounding yes..thats why I am comfortable buying here..When he puts out a buy out offer, we will fly big with this tight float (even assuming it is around 50 millions now)..
I was poking fun at your attempt to equate the monthly volume with the shares issued..lol..An increase in OS does not automatically transalate into an increase in float..so comparing the monthly volume is a waste of time..also with MM all the double prints and after hour trades, that number is totally whacked..
giving me one share?? What about giving a smile..lol..
If I had a nickle for teaching the difference between float/OS/AS to folks every time on the forum, I would be rich by now
Is AUTO getting scared ? He is not on the ask any more and currently on the top bid..ofcourse the top bid is just 4.2 cents and that is a sick joke on us..
There is a first time for every thing. All would be virgins otherwise..lol..He can do it for sure.
MM lowers the ask again!! Unreal..Shame there is no one with the spine to take them head on..We need a few million shares buying pressure to chase them up but looks like most here are already tapped out big time..not going anywhere with this being the case unless Keith gets aggresive with his approach and improve shareholder value..
We need to turn AUTO off. Based on today's PR, it is clear to me that that company is not selling through AUTO.
The way AUTO is pushing the stock down is an indication of shorting. We have to beat AUTO with MOMO. Thats the best way to do it.
HMGP : Hemi Energy Group, Inc. April Update
Hemi Energy Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: HMGP) The evaluation of the well logs and the drill cutting samples from the new well drilled on the Collins lease in Woodson County, Kansas has good oil shows from multiple pay zones. This well should be a good producing oil well after it is frac'ed and other completion techniques are finalized based on experience of industry professionals. This is not a mature lease and therefore should have longer lasting production at a higher rate than wells that are drilled on leases with mature wells in southeast Kansas. Hemi learned much more about deeper pay zones (the Company has declared tight hole status) from this drill site but this will not be divulged at this time for proprietary reasons.
An updated and expanded reserves report is in progress on our leases with wells in Woodson County, Kansas. The well logs and core samples from several new wells that we have drilled in this area will help expand our oil and gas reserves. This report will also begin to verify blanket geological formations of our much larger virgin leases' acreage that are adjacent and contiguous to the west and to the northwest of our five mature producing leases whose total is approximately three square miles.
Hemi has 64,394,000 shares of stock outstanding. Hemi has never issued convertible debentures, preferred shares or any other forms of toxic financing and Hemi also remains debt free. Neither Hemi nor Hemi's management have sold shares in 2008. Therefore, Hemi's opinion is that after hours postings are not shares being sold in volume but are predominately reporting of transactions from the day. Hemi's artificially low market cap is substantially below book value based on conservative oil and gas industry standards. We believe, as oil and gas reserves are proved up in several states, that a realistic value will be assigned based on assets. [/B]
Hemi Energy Group is an independent crude oil and natural gas producer employing a unique business model capitalizing on technological advances to exploit mature fields with millions of barrels of proven oil remaining in the ground. Using attractive lease/royalty packages Hemi has secured, in its history tens of thousands of acres of productive domestic projects. The company's forward-thinking strategy has placed it in an enviable position at a time when prices and global demand for oil continue to rise.

A buyout offer need not have to be accepted right now..but by indicating the receipt of the buy out offer to the market place, keith can show what we are really worth..that will immensely help the situation to show the market place where we belong..that would be the right way..I guess that is where he is going now..
I think Hemi might announce the buyout offer(s) first and then should let the shareholders decide on the best one to take. I would love that moment The stock will shoot up and shorts will be road kill..lol..
Exactly. I am very clear on that now. Any one can check with Keith if you are in doubt.

Jagman, here is a partial preview of next pr, just for you.
"Hemi is certain that the DTC issue will have no bearing on the eventual buyout of Hemi."
HMGP : The anticipated event can take place sooner than we think. I clearly got that impression. Today's clarification is a clear indicator in that direction. Any one still talking about 2010 as the time frame for anticipated events has no clue how the market works. DTC is a non issue for events like tender, cash buy out etc imo.
If some one can't get their spirits lifted after reading this, may be they need to be on prozac. lol

Kansas Eastern Crude...4/16/2008...$103.75
HMGP Share Price.......4/16/2007.... .489
HMGP Share Price.......4/16/2008.... .045
FMNT might even go up tomorrow..lol
call it ironic but actually the stock price went down due to my buy..the previous transaction was at 0.047 and AUTO dropped the ask to 0.045 and I bought at the ask..so the stock price went lower on what considered to be a 'buy' technically
the transaction on the top is mine..
Price Size Exch Time
0.045 70000 OTO 13:09:57
0.047 2000 OTO 12:10:05
0.047 1400 OTO 10:48:54
HMGP : Added more to my position..Bought 70k at the ask..
I always think about them going to 50 cents or a dollar there is no such thing called pinkie dollars..lol..going to amex or nasdaq doesn't guarantee higher return on investment for us..see all the bloodbath on the big boards. I would be happy if they start reporting..going to otcbb might be the next step..

I managed to speak to some one at the new york office today. I did this after I got a tipoff from repoman (our new DD whizkid that there is a human being available to answer the calls..lol..The person who picked up the phone told me that NWOL guy is out of office and he is an investor in NWOL who is sharing the same office!! The number to call is (212)6050156. I will let repoman having the honor of filling the forum what he heard (assuming he wants to). I am not a 'private message' specialist but sent one to you on this. check it out..
NWOL - Sinopec agreement - It is a welcoming change we are seeing in North west's approach..The contract agreement getting uploaded to their website is a pleasant surprise to me.

Mick, welcome to the HMGP board, as Big Mur indicated I too have liked HMGP for the buyout potential and strategy as well as the basic business model of the development strategy of new and re-worked wells in SEK. I've been in HMGP since 11/06 and although not as long as Big Mur, I too have seen HMGP move on a course that is building and developing a business plan that HMGP has indicated since day 1.
Today I look and consider the following as this relates to the HMGP business strategy and the moving forward of HMGP as an emerging O&G company:
-SEK - Woodson/Montgomery County - big proven up O&G reserves
IMO this is the backbone to the HMGP business model and value build up. HMGP has developed this area increasing its proven reserves with each new or re-worked well. A big part of these proven reserves are the NG that is brought up (behind pipe) and then capped. In addition the oil is under production and going to market providing HMGP the needed revenue to remain debt free and monthly cash flow positive.
The buycase from these SEK leases IMO is the NG, the potential candidates ties into the strategy the HMGP is utilizing with its involvement of the Tarrant County, TX leases
-SEK Recent NOI's (Collins, Weseloh, Driskill), recent drilling activities (Collins) and re-works (Sturgeon)
Basically, IMO, this is where HMGP wanted to be last year at this time regarding these drills, NOI's and development, but as many understand and know 2007 was basically wiped out by mother nature. The silver lining about these drills holding off for a year is that the energy markets are paying >50%+ when brought to market. These reserves are not going anywhere and as mentioned above HMGP remains debt free with excellent share structure
-Tarrant County, TX leases - Barnett Shale Play - XTO, Chesapeake, Devon
IMO this is pure HMGP business strategy, getting involved in an area that has very high market visibility with companies that are also active in the SEK market place and Sabine County. In addition since HMGP announced these Tarrant County, TX leases, back in 2007; these leases have increase 5X-8X in value. So worst case, HMGP continues to built its assets while protecting the current company assets and increase overall company value
-Sabine Lease, TX - Big Haynesville shale discovery from Chesapeake last week.
Interesting potential given the developments of the announcement last month of the Haynesville Field, IMO increasing value going forward.
-And now the Bakken Formation news - HMGP has 640 acres.
US Geological report will certainly raise the level of interest and value in this area. And given the level of energy market rates IMO development will ramp up in this area by the O&G companies given the now profitability opportunities. The leases that HMGP has in this area again brings value to the table.
Kels
Thanks for the link, nick. Very informative
SIGM : Plenty of good news today. The stock is really beaten down and has a huge short position..Nice mix for a rally

ants, This is what counts in my book..A CEO gets my respect ONLY when he hands out a good return on investment..Maly may have all the connections the world needs in Russia but until that gets translated into gains for the shareholders, there isn't much to write home about. This is like a story of a woman who had this best body builder on the planet as husband but sadly this guy couldn't lift his 'thing' how good is that for her??!!
Having said that, Maly might be on to some performance enhancing stuff at this time..So we may finally see the boost that we need..GL!
eik, That explains it very well It is possible that sinopec might use North west's influence to catch some big deals..Thx.
I like Hemi a lot here GL!
