taketheredpill, this stock is wound tighter than a grandfather clock, it's clearly consolidating at a price in the 004's and yes, it seems that it could "explode" when Baltia releases some new news about proving flights; because, proving flights equal REVENUES finally for Baltia with the cargo revenue stream.
The waiting for a decision is very frustrating because from the posts and DD I've read, it's either we successfully completed the mini or we need a number 8 and we further know that if it is the latter, that the stock will truly tank even though we know it is a superb investment. Baltia isn't going to quit and I am not going to quit.
Further a poster said it is usually 8 weeks between mini's; so the fact that we are at that time as of yesterday or the day before yesterday, seems like Baltia knows it doesn't have to prepare for another mini.
position: long and strong buy.
Baltia and Russia flights can be more important than before. Today's news about the US partnering with Putin to handle the Isis situation and also partnering with Persia (Iran). Now that is good news for us because some person posted that we have adverse political relations with Russia and it's simply not true.
One broadcaster asked the question is the US "calling in the cavalry" in meeting with Putin regarding a way to do something about Isis?
Just awesome for us. Delta sold its Russian routes to make money to pay down their debt, IMO. Delta did not sell their Russian routes because of politics as some naysayer implied.
Baltia to St. Petersburg all aboard! As soon as Baltia conquers the mini.
did they tell us before how we did and did they release information about doing another mini. TIA
It would also be huge news if BLTA announced a hedge at these low fuel prices. We would know they're totally an Air Line, it would tell us the mini went well and proving flights started. IMO.
We have great facts and enough to sustain these levels. I was looking more towards October for an official press release.
I think the fact that we can make revenues during operational proving flights is a huge fact, early revenue (then having to wait until inaugural flight for revenues.
I just feel good about Baltia and how they are handling this situation.
Thanks, I don't know all the different size planes I just read on the board that, when speaking of cargo; somebody mentioned how important the size of the plane's cargo is to Baltia.
Now this is looking better than it looked last week. Combining proving flights and cargo = early revenue that is a total surprise to me.
Now I think the guru posters have absolute knowledge of planes and aviation and even the Airforce planes...and we are getting the best DD and the puzzle pieces are coming together.
It gets better and better. Very good insight. That is a positive way of looking at the planned upgrade and a very positive thing for upcoming proving flights.
These proving flights have to be almost ready as the three crews completed their recurrent training in anticipation of the upcoming proving flights.
Cargo carried on proving flights. Even better. Revenue could come sooner than we thought, before the inaugural flight.
Thanks speckulater, Ah Ha! There is the sentence I wanted to read.... cargo can generate more revenue than ticket sales! That is why choover is happy about the upgrade of the cargo area of the plane and the NLG (sp?) is so important.
I bet they already know what they'll be delivering and picking up. IMO.
Baltia_hopeful, I guess we're all thinking that now, and we have enough puzzle pieces to draw that type of conclusion. It seems like its been a focus since I began posting.
I invested some earlier but don't like being the 'newbie' investors; but I feel everybody's perspective who have been waiting for an ROI, because I got stuck in a stock ten years ago and that word 'soon' is a nightmare to me.
Its the posts since August that seem to focus on freight and cargo and mail and not just passengers. And the anticipated upgrade to the cargo area makes me think Baltia's got something going on with the cargo that a jumbo jet can handle.
Remember, the only planes bigger than the Jumbo jet is a military plane..maybe a C 130.
Wow, Carsmax177 that is very astute of you and your research, you clearly know your way around financial statements. I was going to begin researching the 10Qs for clues because I know there are clues inside all financial statements.
And now we need the CTO for Southwest. I know it's a lot of reading...but easier if you know where to look.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Precisely Firestream, those companies have toxic debt on their balance sheets or commonly known as Convertible bonds, Convertible debentures, and Debt convertible into common stock.
All I am doing is mentioning some other possibilities since Baltia needs cash infusions and it's got to stop flooding the market with its shares.
And the timing of our filing on 9.10 and Virgin America CTO 9.10 and Southwest CTO on 9.22 (a day important for some reason per Robodog.)
There could be a reorganization in the works or a merger and acquisition and yes, Baltia would be the superstar because of its minimal debt, no toxic financing, and all revenue status. It is truly a cash cow..but it needs funding to get it there.
We don't know about the mini although we think it cleared that hurdle.
I don't see anything wrong with studying our future competition and keep an eye on what they're doing. It is smart business.
Further, since CARGO and FREIGHT seem to be the first priority, I've begun looking at Federal Express and UPS as well.
flaflyersfan, we can't possibly know that because included in the CTO is information that should be published; but for reasons that it might affect its pps or the pps of another stock, it's not published.
The timing of the filings are very coincidental to our filing audited financials. Our volume went wild when Southwest filed a CTO.
In other words M&A could be in play but we wouldn't know that because those airlines filed Confidential Treatment Orders.
We're entertaining other ideas, and I think this idea is worth entertaining or thinking about if it's possible. IMO.
maybe they're in a quiet period or waiting period just like I said. The confidential order for Virgin America was filed on September 10 just like Baltia's audited financials.
UAL filed a CTO (confidential order treatment) and Southwest airline filed a CTO on September 22, the day our volume went wild.
What did our volume do on September 10th.
There are things we can discover without Baltia specifically telling us. And facebook is a good source; and the SEC website is a good source...surfing the web is another good source of information like this operational website.
Awesome speculater! An operational website. Almost like tracking products with Federal Express and UPS etc.
Because of the focus on cargo and freight, it seems as though the passengers might be secondary to the freight revenues. Either way, it's revenue and Baltia needs it.
St. Petersburg has begun to focus on its manufacturing begiinning around 2011.
Russia's vodka is 10% of its economy; but they are into textiles, cotton, and shoes made in Russia as well as timber products, among other things.
Baltia's cargo operations seem to be paramount to the air lines. After researching manufacturing in St. Petersburg, I noticed two new businesses under construction, 1. pharmaceutical company and 2. a Nissan plant. Maybe Baltia intends to assist with distribution of products to capitalize on the American purchasing power and Baltia will be transporting goods (cargo or freight) that say "made in Russia".
The construction of a pharmaceutical facility began in 2011.
I wish I could read PRAVDA myself. PRAVDA translates to "truth"
Thank you speckulater, I'm wondering why doesn't he have shares like the other directors, is he buying in a trust or something. Doesn't he want shares? He could be the one that has the contacts for the private placement which would protect BLTA from a hostile and he could engineer a friendly M&A.
I think of Baltia as a start up too. I also think of it as a takeover target for the bigger air lines who got caught up in convertible debentures, and derivatives and hedges on fuel at premium prices.
With the St. Petersburg flight at 60 MILLION revenue, everybody would be looking at them....even billionaires like Trump and Bloomburg and Spitzer and Buffet and Gates, etc. Can't rule them out, maybe they want to own an airline company, it is very prestigious.
Well, I have to look into that. I think the president can just do that, I don't know that it takes a vote.
BUT that is a good question. We're under the impression that there are 6+ billion OS. But we don't know the float which could be much less.
Maybe we just need a majority vote, like all six of them voted.
But it appears it would be easy for an interested party to be able to pick up 51% controlling interest, and then approach the company.
The six directors own a cumulative 26.78% and Mr. Drago owns 5.78%. Seems kind of odd.
Then we have all these Private Placement people and they own a % of company and we don't know how much... And we don't know the float, which could be substantially less than the OS.
Any party interested has to buy stock slowly and under the radar and be careful not to run up the stock price.
I think the private placement holders should have to disclose their position if it is a beneficial ownership just like Mr. Drago.
certdog, we were granted exclusive routes which are very valuable and lucrative, especially for cargo. The office in Russia in St. Petersburg at that Pokolov airport.
They have permission from the Russian Federation.
These ARE their crown jewels...any other air line already has that plane and could get faster than Baltia can get it approved.
IMO
26.78!! that is the percentage of outstanding stock owned by all of the directors and officers and there is a 5+% owned for John Drago.
All of you need to stop being an ostrich and understand it would be easy to acquire a controlling interest in the company.
An interested party only needs 51% for a controlling interest.
This info comes from the audited financials.
They don't have to be issued finna! They can just have Authorized shares and shorts are not allowed to borrow "Authorized shares" because they can only borrow stock in the "float" which is a very different number.
absolutely finna_make_gains.. They can authorize as many as they want according to the corporate laws of the state in which they're incorporated. It does not mean they've been issued and they're not outstanding.
The just authorized, a maneuver commonly used to prevent a hostile takeover if another airlines accumulated 51% of the outstanding stock.
But you guys have your heads in the sand when I discuss this possibility of Mergers & Acquisitions.
I want to know when Tony was hired because with his experience he is familiar with M&A.
How come Tony isn't listed as an executive or officer on the share structure list?
I did read the financial statements maybe it said 7 employees but if I had "word search" I could find it or at least find the sentence.
And nobody mentions the Confidential Treatment Order filed Sept. 10 for Virgin America
or ual's CTO filed on the 22nd or anything about a possible takeover or M&A. You can't keep ignoring that information.
When did Tony join the company. Anybody have an exact date please!!!!
I felt the same way when the knowledgeable posters on the board said the FAA was involved with this latest mini and put tamper proof tape on all the requisite doors.
RoagTrader, more good research shared with us and now I am wondering if it isn't pressing to do the filing to register its use.
Kicks69, absolutely agree. They're basically flying once they pass this mini...everything else will get in place and voila, New Air Lines...I do think because of its balance sheet and no toxic financing it is appealing as a takeover target.
Everybody knows that the really big corporations buy their competition.
Confidential Treatment Orders are filings containing information that would otherwise have to be reported to the public.
Baltia Airlines (BLTA) September 10, 2015 files audited financial statements
Virgin America (VA:NASDAQ) files confidential order treatment on September 10, 2015 (day we filed our audited financial statements)
United Air Lines (UAL) Files confidential treatment order September 22 (our big volume day)
who needs a pass from FAA if we're merging. In fact it could be because of the expected pass that we could get a good price on our shares. As soon as mini passed; we were already an "air line" as the other stuff is the easy part.
As per the audited 10K, BLTA employs 70 people. We're not that small like we seem.
We don't have bad derivatives for fuel
We don't have toxic debt
We don't have employment contracts as of the audited 10K
We just have a big share structure and we don't know the float anyways. We're really fortunate and we are a target of the bigger air line companies.
BLTA's audited financial statements filed September 10, 2015 and Virgin America filed a Confidential Order on September 10, 2015.
How can you say that like it is a fact. I don't mind, hope you're correct, it just sounds like you know this for a fact.
I'm not a man emit!! lol thanks..probably a complement thinking men are smarter or something.
Oh yes it can flaflyersfan. Our CEO could be working a deal now or anytime and a reverse split can be done but that is a cruel thing to do to stockholders.
Our share price has been in this .004-.005 place for quite some time. That tells me there is more going on than we know; like letting a friendly takeover BLTA in a mutual agreement between two CEO's.
Raising the Authorized shares is usually a preventive measure taken by a company who does not want to be taken over.
UAL files confidential treatment order 9.21.15
LUV (Southwest) files a confidential treatment order 9.22.15
DAL (Delta) China Eastern Air Lines Corporate Limited in Shanghai on 9.18.15 issues 465,910,000 to Delta; and Gol Intelligent Airlines issues 32 million to Delta (Gol Intelligent Airlines is in Sao-Paulo Brazil.
JBLU files a tender offer to buyback convertible debentures and get a loan from some corporation (trustee) in Wilmington Delaware on 9.16.15
funny emit, we didn't get PRs that we know they could have PR's on Audited financial statements = huge and they could have PR'd recurrent training with three crews and they could have PR'd the mini...and the vendor.
On September 22, 2015 SOUTHWEST FILED A CONFIDENTIAL Treatment Order!!!!
United files CTO on the 21st and Southwest files CTO on the 22nd of September and Baltia went wild on 9-22-15
pfgolf, that sounds nice; but, our revenues are calculated at 60,000,000 just on our flight and cargo service per trip or was it 60,000 for Inaugural flight. Anyways they look at the potential future revenues for a price (Baltia would base it upon BLTA flying)...plus any suitor would already have the planes to do our route and a lot faster; but again, they would look at the revenues.
It's better than .25; but because of the shares we have, .50 would work but I'd prefer much more for the future of BLTA presuming they passed and got their air carrier certification and are flying perhaps $5.00 per share.
I'd like a stock for stock transaction (a 1 for 1 share) of UAL trading around 58 to 60 per share right now.
We honestly do not know our float.
That could be part of quiet period preceding unprecedented announcement for our benefit.
It could be a defensive maneuver in a hostile.
Or it could be Baltia is trying to keep share price at this level, or it could be Baltia is holding all this information close to the vest because there are sharks circling around BLTA because of its soon to be cash cow status OR because they don't want to run the PPS up until somebody purchases all the shares it needs to present a decent offer.
A defensive maneuver if a hostile takeover, or at these prices, a billion costs 5 million dollars. United Airlines has 3 Billion to spend.
If we are not in a quiet period somebody explain why Baltia didn't PR the audited financial statements, the three flight crews recurrent training or the issue with a vendor about the mini.
No reverse split is acceptable. And if anyone is bothering to notice my important and well researched posts, you might be aware that an increase of shares is a defensive maneuver in an attempted takeover.
neither of those posts explains the lack of a PR about recurrent training recently, like Baltia PR'd in late July.
It could have PR'd financial statements audited.
It could have PR'd recurrent training for upcoming proving flights.
nothing but a quiet period explains the lack of Baltia's information and ongoing operations. Because those PR's coming from Baltia Officially would have caused the pps to run up more.
We just got this from the board.
If you are Mr. Drago who filed a beneficial ownership interest in Baltia, do you do that on a maybe or on a known fact.
The amount filed is 862,964,262 shares at a weighted avg. price of .0045, Mr. Drago paid $3,883,339.18.
Seriously, who on earth bets that much money on a "maybe".
