Shouldn't BRAVADA be listed under fashion retailers closing stores? Or did you forget about that one? When's that new store opening BTW? Still waiting. You talk of broad statements, then hand select a few stores out of a million to try and prove your point. How many of those retailers had the same loss of revenues from the prior year as BRAV did? This company IS navigating a storm. An unprecedented six year storm by the name of Hurricane Danny. No wonder we're all underwater.
I need to apologize for that post. I'm getting low and should be better than that. When the CEO doesn't have time to let shareholders know what's going on, but has plenty of time to log on and insult them, it brings you down.
We're all hoping for success. What would anyone get from BRAV failing? People point out mistakes in hopes of a better buy or point out the successes in hopes of a better sell.
Good luck to us all.
Don't you remember? That's already happening, started in 2012! Though no shares have been bought or cancelled yet, I'm sure they will be any day now. Probably right after the commercial airs.
Wow, great news. BRAV actually did something that lasted 5 years and didn't get buried! Too bad nobody knows about it. How did we get those numbers last year? Adwords. Worked great, but Danny couldn't stoke his ego with that approach so he decided to stop funding that and instead produce that amazing commercial starring: HIM! When did that air again?
The big problem is that we came here thinking we were investing in BRAVADA, but instead we dumped our money into the Danny Alex fund. In most cases, if a company is being run into the ground, the board will oust the CEO, but that can't happen here. BRAVo, Danny. You pulled off a pink sheet miracle! A legit company, but the CEO is the scam! Brilliant, I don't think any of us saw that coming. If we had, we may have thought twice before investing.
Why even bother with the company, Danny? You should have just married a Spice girl or a Kardashian to get that fame your ego so desperately wants. I guess they aren't into washed out Canadians with bad hair.
2 years? Closer to six my friend. Yes, danny has planted many seeds, the problem is he never waters them. He once had a nice little sapling going with onlyleggings+adwords, but he managed to kill that off too. The shareholders gave him the land and the seeds, but danny would rather plant a thousand weeds than one strong tree. Maybe if he spent more time tending his crops and less time polishing the ol' ego tractor, we could actually harvest some green.
They shouldn't be late at all! C'mon, this is a tiny company with a professional CPA and a CEO that can verify GAAP compliance in 5 minutes! 90% of it is internet, sales can be figured with the push of a button, the store sales could be done along the way. If that's too much to ask, it could all be done in a week. That's from quarter end, not the due date. Add another month + after that? for less than half a mil sales? That just doesn't add up. Get it?
And what was the date on that filing? hmmm
In the "common sense" universe, it would be understood that I didn't literally think he could print up the numbers in 5 minutes. My point was that given his statement, there should be no excuse for them to be late or to not tie out as has been the case time and time again. That's what you missed.
If you really want to see some errors that speak volumes, take a look at each and every website in the BRAV stable. they look like they were written by a middle schooler! And those are supposed to be business, professional. A big difference from a post on a stock forum. But hey, why provide facts and shareholder value when you can attack the ones who paid your fare on this misguided journey?
While we're on the subject, check out this excerpt from the PR
Whoa, he's back and as usual chooses to attack rather than state facts. I thought those financials were waiting until they were gaap compliant before being released. What happened? Are we going to be current again soon?
Sounds good, I've got time.
Yes, we should. Maybe danny doesn't want to break his losing streak by doing something right.
Lol, I don't sell on the bid. I do still have a few buys down there, but I'm not sure they'll get filled. My sells are in too, but I may be waiting awhile for those to fill. ;)
Hey, look at the bright side, 2 is twice as much as 1!
Tax day is here! Looks like most are holding so that's a good sign. Danny is just so unpredictable that nobody wants to take the chance. He could make a big play. Maybe something legit rather than a idea for the future? He's got the numbers in, albeit over a month late, but they're in. Nobody has been able to tear them apart which must be a good sign. If they are gaap compliant, he could get current, get audited, uplist, buyback etc. Basically, he could do all of the things he's been saying he'd do for years. Will it be today, tomorrow, three months from now, three YEARS from now?? Knowing danny, it will be the latter, but the volume shows that no one is taking that chance. We are not invested in BRAV, we are invested in Danny Alex. Good luck and God help us all.
trips?
A start up company doesn't typically take 5 years to start up, especially considering that brav is just a reseller. A little focus on what works would do a world of good for this company and it's shareholders. Unfortunately, danny tends to stop whatever works and try things that don't. Can you imagine where we'd be if he'd just stuck with the one website and adwords? If he'd actually put that 80k into actual advertising rather than a soft porn video clip never to be seen by the public? For someone who lives by the forward looking statement, you'd think he'd have a little foresight.
Detailed, yes. GAAP compliant?
Haven't had a chance to look at the financials yet. Are they GAAP compliant?
Seriously, this is pinky land. You aren't going to make 50% profit in a month on a big board stock, but you also aren't going to lose everything because one big player decides to dump out. The good news is that this hasn't happened. Regardless of the trash talk, everyone is holding, even buying. Only selling bits to try and trigger others, only to pick up cheaper shares. We're all adults here, let's be honest. The stock is in our hands. Danny may be captaining the ship (remotely, albeit), but we are the ones pulling the oars. The stock could go up just as easily as it goes down. The only thing we need is for the captain to chart the course.
When Danny has talked in the past, he has stuck his foot in his mouth 9 times out of 10. Do we want him to go back to overestimating his numbers only to bring disappointment when it doesn't add up? No. This could be the perfect storm. He could get GAAP compliant, audited, and uplisted all at once, then immediately start the buy back. He will have come through with the biggest of his promises and every one of us (that held anyway) would be singing his praises.
I know everyone hoping for a lower buy in doesn't want me to say this, but the big dogs are staying. It's slim pickings down here, so if you're looking for a substantial position, you can take your chances on the bid or guarantee your spot on the ask. Risky, I know, but again, this is the pennies. SUB pennies. PINKIES. The risk is big, but the payoff can be....bigger.
Good luck to us all.
Maybe he's thinking of going out for a part as a villain in the next Batman movie! For now though, it's looks like we'll have to settle for the Invisible Man.
Maybe they use a different kind of English in Canada.
Everyone is down the exact amount they were willing to risk. A few hundred thousand is nothing to some people, whereas to others it is a fortune. If I had a few hundred thousand sitting around, I sure wouldn't be putting it here. But in the 10k range, some of us low rollers get a chance at a big payoff. All we can do is research and make a semi-educated guess. We have no control in the way the company is run, particularly in a situation like this with super vote rights. I just won't believe that Danny doesn't want to be successful. Maybe he just doesn't know how.
He's probably busy thinking up new insults for his shareholders. Or maybe scoping out which D-list celebrity he will pursue next. Is Vanilla Ice available? It's time for Danny to stop, collaborate and listen to the people who paid to get him here.
He may know what he's doing, but that may not be in the best interest of the shareholders. Just my opinion, I hope I'm wrong.
Yeah, my portfolio is still blighted by it. Wasn't smart enough to take the tax break when I could. Not sure if I should make the same mistake with BRAV. A few years ago I wouldn't hesitate, but with the wash rule, I can't take the chance Danny won't come through in the next 3 months. He's a crafty guy, who knows what he's up to. Here's hoping to a surprise and not the typical pinky cut and run!
For the record, I wasn't saying anything like this would happen in this case, only that it happened in one of my previous investments. I think Danny has a good idea, he just isn't making the most of it. Or the least of it even. Either way, I don't think Danny is trying to scam us, he's just a really bad CEO. I'm sure he wants to succeed the same as we do, I'm just not sure he realizes how to do that at this point in time. Doesn't matter, cards are in his hand. If he wants to go down with the ship, that's his prerogative. Our money, I'll grant you, but his prerogative.
Too true, Orca. Pinkies are for trading, not investing. But even traders get the shaft when the CEO is MIA. Did anyone check that couch full of models? He may be there..
Yup, Beezer was the smart one. I wonder how many here are looking back at their comments from earlier this year and shaking their heads? "BUY, Buy, it won't stay at .008 forever!" "This will never get below .006, I'll buy 50 mil shares!" "Danny's just getting his ducks in a row, then it's to the mooon!". Sad really, but you're not just betting on the horse, you're betting on the jockey.
He cannot be ousted, he runs the show. For someone who can't seem to tell up from down when it comes to numbers, he sure knows what he's doing when it comes to protecting himself. He could literally cut all of his inventory to shreds and there's nothing we could do about it. He'd probably PR it as a new direction for BRAV. Is ONLYSHREDS.COM available?
I don't think his ego would allow him to go dark. How will he be able to hang out with d-list celebrities if he isn't running his mouth about being a CEO?
I was once invested in another penny that touted great things, then went dark. The CEO split to the Bahamas (of course). Even though the SEC wasn't able to punish him, one of the people he scammed did.

Not pretty. Can you guess which fingers they were? I'm thinking pinkies. People don't mess around when it comes to their money. Lets hope this CEO has more sense.
A least he hasn't responded by publicly insulting them or threatening them with lawsuits like he does with his shareholders. Danny seems to have a hard time respecting the people that fund him.
Not with this volume...
Whoa, looks like the whale ain't messing around! A run would be nice, but what would sustain it? Maybe a run, followed by some really good news, but it would have to be real news, not "forward looking" news.
