Glad it gave you a laugh. we need to lighten up the board, too much dizziness from our stock action, all three today.
A green day. Maybe we should name a band after it.
Thanks. Don't be too far from your computer or we will lose money, LOL
TA, maybe you should use me as a contrarian indicator, that's why I listen to Monk. Looks like I was wrong again today, LOL. Got to go to work, hope that helps the share price.
Me too, but no worries. Daily up and downs, can't let them get you down, we know the long term picture, which is very bullish. Even at these prices, going to add when I get some money in a few days.
Spoken like a true Midwest golfer.
TA, sure hope I'm wrong, it won't be the first time, but I'm not selling anyway. We know what we own. GLTU and all Monksters all over the world, my friend.
I guess for a Hawkeye and a snowbird golfer, today would be as good as any, LOL. We're too spoiled here, at least I am.
I hope so, but I think we are in a low volume, brief consolidation phase right now, normal and healthy. We're Monksters, ain't skeered at all. Upward and onward pretty soon.
Ice shavings from the rink wouldn't suffice? GM NMC.
I agree, but it's a rainy day here in CA, you have to be a diehard to play today.
Converts are always the most enthusiastic. Good luck to you both, we don't need luck here, just more powder to accumulate.
Actually am a morning person, but not this early. Had a bad dream, but fortunately not involving our stocks, hard to get back to sleep. Better to get up early with the other Monksters, having fun and getting greener. Will you be in Palm Springs around the 24th? I am going to a concert in Indio at that time, a country music spectacular all weekend.
Hi, Bob, always good to see you on the board, then I know profits are coming.
GM Den, up early today by accident, more time to chat and do DD. Should be a green week for us all.
YW, Mr. Fields. I'll probably be a lurker, with occasional questions, not an expert chartist, can always use the help.
Board Marked you, hfields. You are one of the best chartists on IHUB, and you have some strong posters here also.
Good evening, Board, have been lurking here on and off and am giving you guys a belated BoardMark for your good work. I know some of the mods here and this is a quality board with good DD and positive ideas. Great results on the Wealth Tracker, congrats.
YW, Connie. Eugene is a great college town but you need breaks from that weather.
Rubenesque, I believe, is the correct term, a more old-fashioned type of beauty. In Hollywood they like them thinner, but styles and tastes change.
Nothing dates you, ask the Monksters that know you in person.
In certain parts of the South Pacific, such women are considered the height of beauty, but not in Beverly Hills.
You're John Elway's mother? I'm impressed.
Check out the post from MCKINLEY MORGANFIELD that EX was responding to, a risque pic indeed!
Not many peopole have earthquake insurance, very expensive and high deductible.
I suspect he was responding to that interesting photo.
As some say, more to love. Depends on your taste.
Actually, in LA there were two major ones, with loss of lives, in 1971 and 1994 that I experienced which were scary, but these others have been far away so they are shorter and milder, with minimal damage around LA. Lived in Illinois for many years but never saw a tornado. I think they were mostly in Southern Illinois.
It feels like a total loss of control, and mostly I fear for my family, my house, and people's safety in general. We have had several since I have lived in California, but we've been pretty lucky. Hope our luck remains, we are due for another big one in LA, according to projections. So far, compared to hurricanes, tornados, hugh snowstorms, rainsstorms, cold and flooding, we are still blessed here with the weather, but one can never be complacent.
Hi, Karin and Den, I definitely felt it. Beter than snow and rain, but not fun, nevertheless. Was a rather mild, rolling one but you could tell it was a quake. Welcome back to Monk, hope it was a great vacaton.
You'll get there sooner than you think, packer, those are good ones like CDIV.
In Australia it's called the "tall poppy syndrome." In other words, the tall poppy stands out in the poppy field and the other poppies want to bring the tall one down. Non-Monksters and other, more sinister characters, are jealous of our success and try to damage it or undermine our confidence, but to no avail.
Maybe we can get a group hike going for the Monksters when we get to Barbados for a reunion, then on to the beach.
aim, I wish I could help but I'm no car expert. I really only know Volvos.
Thanks, packer, I'm just an amateur. I'd better get in much better shape to keep up with you, LOL
Zach, the only way I've found to avoid unsavory people on IHUB is to stick to the Monk boards.
Yw, packer. Like to hike also, did most on the Appalachian Trail in New England, now do it with the Sierra Club in California on occasion. Good for health and more importantly, for the soul. Health is wealth, but hiking makes you a Viking.
thanks to a good guy.
birdd, I bought a one year basic premium membership. Your level depends on how many bells and whistles you need, mine fits me but your needs may be different.
Sorry about the duplicate post. It was meant as a reply to dred.
