This will give Trumpty a major mad this evening.
@mkraju
Nikki Haley, speaking to supporters after losing resoundingly in her home state, indicates she’s not dropping out.
“America will come apart if we make the wrong choices…We need to beat Joe Biden November. I don’t believe Donald Trump can beat Joe Biden.”
Says 40 percent support is not a “tiny group”
Maybe he has a current mistress named Mercedes?
Or- maybe he's confused melania with this one? Remember her?
CNN —
The Republican campaign staffer who has accused Matt Schlapp, a high-profile conservative activist, of sexual assault is now suing Schlapp and his wife, Mercedes, for more than $9 million.
Yes- and it's becoming obvious- even to the media who are now commenting on it.
Easier than my trying to explain it.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Both houses of the United States Congress have refused to seat new members based on Article I, Section 5 of the United States Constitution which states that:
"Each House shall be the judge of the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members, and a majority of each shall constitute a quorum to do business; but a smaller number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the attendance of absent members, in such manner, and under such penalties as each House may provide."
This had been interpreted that members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate could refuse to recognize the election or appointment of a new representative or senator for any reason, often political heterodoxy or criminal record.
However, the U.S. Supreme Court, in Powell v. McCormack (1969), limited the powers of the Congress to refuse to seat an elected member to when the individual does not meet the specific constitutional requirements of age, citizenship or residency. From the decision by Chief Justice Earl Warren: "Therefore, we hold that, since Adam Clayton Powell Jr., was duly elected by the voters of the 18th Congressional District of New York and was not ineligible to serve under any provision of the Constitution, the House was without power to exclude him from its membership."
The Federal Contested Elections Act of 1969 currently lays out the procedures by which each House determines contested elections.
Lately some of his "glitches" have looked more like being caused by a brain tumor of some sort.
They can't without cause.
Former President Donald Trump defeats Nikki Haley in South Carolina Republican contest, pushing him closer into a contest against President Joe Biden for the 2024 election

Some of them are actually funny, though.
5. “In times of bad, she’ll call me up say, “Don’t worry about, sir, you’re doing great.”
Said the Biden-Harris campaign, “A lot of people don’t know how smart and respected Marjorie Taylor Greene is.”
I know, but he's getting worse rapidly now. Pretty soon his speeches won't make any sense. They will literally be a word salad.
What we need is for him to have a complete flame-out at one of these rallys and have to be taken off of the stage. And then play that as a clip over and over.
Meanwhile- someone needs to make him watch these clips already in existence while eating his favorite hamberder. It will get under his thin skin and make him a little nervous- which will cause him further deterioration. He has to be afraid of dementia and somewhere in his malfunctioning brain he knows that it's coming on.
It might, just maybe, be that the GOP are going to learn the meaning of A Bridge Too Far.
This one seems to have actually frightened some of the stupid GOP
@PatrickW
NYT reports Republicans suddenly want to protect access to IVF "in every state."
Excellent. Democrats want the same. The House can pass a bill, the Senate will surely agree and Biden will sign it.
Should be simple. Let's see if it happens.
Yeah- there's been some chat about that. I was reading yesterday about a woman who said she had just "adopted" 14 abandoned embryos and called her lawyer an her accountant and filed an amended tax form and the state would now owe her money for quite some time. I'm not even positive that it wasn't a joke and that she didn't exactly do just that.
@oddemann
Legal predicament:
The power grid fails in Alabama
All the frozen embryos melt, and die
Who’s gonna be executed?
My answer- Abbott of course. He's the one responsible for the power grid failure.
Well- he should and also everyone of those who had any part in the disinformation campaign.
Maybe he thought no one would notice...............
Let's get Trumpty's day off to a great start.
@Victorshi2020
NEW: NY AG Letitia James just wrote to Judge Engoron, saying, there is “no room for further debate” & “nor do Defendants provide any basis for staying enforcement of the judgment.” In other words, AG James is making Donald Trump pay & it’s amazing. Great news.
That should work as long as you stay out of Alabama.
Egg substitutes, maybe?
How did I miss this one..........
@NotHoodlum
The Supreme Court rejected appeals from three Republicans who challenged fines for refusing to wear masks on the House floor. Thomas Massie (KY), Ralph Norman (SC) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA).
MTG now owes in excess of $80,000.00 in fines.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday squashed an appeal from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and her two Republican colleagues attempting to overturn their fines for repeatedly opting not to wear face masks on the House floor during the COVID-19 pandemic. The justices left no comment accompanying their decision to decline the appeal from Greene, who was joined in the case by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ralph Norman (R-SC). Their decision allows a lower court ruling to stand, which tossed the Congresspeople’s constitutional challenge and ruled that courts lack jurisdiction to review the mask policy.
Of course she is, but that doesn't mean she cant infuriate Trumpty. Maybe he'll stroke out.
The D's should take as good of aim at ytum,pty as Haley does.

Haley: Trump is talking about how he's a victim and comparing himself to Navalny, who died fighting corruption against Putin. It's all about him, he's obsessed with himself
Also talking about staying in the race past SC.

Good! I hope he's having a big sad over that. Eventually- he'll either run out of cash or have to move to Russia.
What did he even mean here. Navalny's dead- that's not the same as paying fines................
The Daily Beast
@thedailybeast
Having to pay a fine for bank fraud “is a form of Navalny,” Donald Trump said during a Fox News town hall Tuesday night.
You have a point, but I don't think that stuff would add up to enough to pay the fines.
True- but then- Trump's always been for sale- Russia was just the first in line to take advantage of it.
I think so, but not positive.
I want to see this happen!
Republicans against Trump
@RpsAgainstTrump
NEW
New York AG Letitia James prepared to seize Trump’s assets if he does not pay the $355 million fine:
“If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets.”
It's an excellent idea, but he'll need to be careful or the damn MAGAs will get him arrested for bribery/.
They can all go to Texas. Abbott should welcome them with open arms.
And the equally laughable MAGA truck drivers screaming "Boycott NY". We'll see how that hoes.
Oh no! What's worse is when I first read it I thought it said 50-cat-equipped Roomba becomes sentient and sweeps room
A source of money for Trumpty?
@clearing_fog
So Musk’s jet landed in West Palm Beach around 5pm EST yesterday, was there for ~24 hours, & left around 4:30pm EST today.
Interesting, considering Trump is likely trying to figure out how to come up with $400 million.
Things the scrambled brain media doesn't show you.
@FeistyLibLady
4,000 homes owned by Veterans across the country were foreclosed as of mid-October and 6,000 more were in danger of foreclosure.
After review of the foreclosures, the Veterans Administration under Joe Biden will buy missed mortgage payments from loan servicers to create a new, no interest loan that will be due when the home is paid off so the borrower can stay in their homes.
The VA says lenders shouldn’t take action before consulting agency.
The VA observed that lenders “may have begun foreclosure” before the VA had the opportunity to review borrowers’ circumstances regarding the high number of foreclosures in October.
Lenders now have until May 31 to submit loan-modification requests.
Joe Biden is working for America's heroes and sheroes.
Republicans not so much.
On no- he's selling sneakers!
Trump Ruthlessly Booed At Philly SneakerCon While Hawking $399 Trump Sneakers
Donald Trump announced his latest grift on Saturday, appearing at SneakerCon in Philadelphia, PA to hawk his new gold Trump-branded sneakers for the price of $399. At least some in the crowd were not very receptive, to say the least.
While on the stage talking about his new sneakers, many in the audience quickly erupted into boos.
“There’s a lot of emotion,” Trump commented, his voice drowned out by the booing crowd.
“Thank you, thank you,” Trump continued as the crowd continued to boo him ruthlessly.
In addition to sneakers, Trump also announced the sale of his new fragrance “Victory 47.” Donald Trump’s scent has been the topic of a great deal of discussion in recent months, with a former Republican congressman claiming Trump smells like “armpits, ketchup, a butt, and makeup” blended together.
Trump has to find ways to raise some cash – and fast. Between his judgments in the E. Jean Carroll defamation case and the New York civil fraud case, Trump owes more than a half a billion dollars. That’s equivalent to the sale of more than 1.25 million Trump sneakers. Good luck!
Sorry to have crossed whatever the line is on your board. I'm gone.
You'd hope so!
I read that the interest rate would be 9%, but i have no idea if that was a fact for a WAG.
Don't make excuses. At the time Jordan was a wrestling Coach- not a politician. There's no difference in the 2 situations.
