Wayne what alias's are you going by?? <g>
I bought 33K+ GOZ today!
What strength I have been getting my butt kicked? <g>
I wish we would get news on SVL but I don't think we will get hurt.
I hope it works for both of us Frank.
I should own it Frank but have all my eggs in the SVL silver basket. WTZ is a long term keeper though for those who have it.
I am tired of hearing about this base metal crap if you guys were buying gold bullion my gold shares could rally. <g> Do you sense a small bit of jealousy here or what? <g>
More on from the INM news release:
http://www.stockhouse.ca/news/news.asp?newsid=1944692&tick=INM
At El Tesoro, Northair controls a contiguous land package of approximately 1000 hectares and has received very encouraging exploration results from its exploration programs to date. Seven distinct zones of classic low sulfidation epithermal gold and silver mineralization in zones ranging from ~1 to over 15 metres in true width have been identified from a series of mapping and sampling programs. The zones are exposed in erosional windows as well as in numerous small gambusino workings; detailed continuous sampling has returned results of up to 9.33 g/t gold and 32.6 g/t silver over 10 metres. Property wide, the Company has taken a total of 474 rock chip samples to date, with a project average of 5.18 g/t gold and 37.36 g/t silver. ****Roughly 70% of the property position is covered by post-mineral volcanics and surficial deposits, concealing very prospective ground, and exploration potential is excellent for discovering additional zones of mineralization***
*** I like the potential and the stock is trading up.This is one of Claude's favorite picks these days.

Louis you da man! Thanks for posting here.
<Suggest you be careful adding gold stocks here, US does not take a liking to POG during these auctions...>
Good thought. Never came to me before but no doubt spot on.
<Tom just confessed to selling 50K the past week> those sales of 50K CKG took place over the last couple of months. I remembered my other sell CBD. 32K++. BUT!!!!!!!!! I am buying both of those back just watching and holding some smaller multiple and smaller market cap stocks of Claudes recommendation. IE: GRS, GOZ, INM, AQI, SVL. All of which I like but will trim back on as news and price evolves, (hopefully upward)and put the money into CKG and CBD.
I am a huge optimist but think we may see CKG and CBD well over $10.00 a share next year. So yes I have talked about each of them and traded them but they will be in my back pocket before year end.
zeev,
Welcome to the thread. Hope you can hang your hat over here once in a while. Looking forward to it in fact.
Tom
Yeah that is funny you have that long term outlook. Bob Johnson one smart guy, Claude and cycle pro and others are looking a long timeout. If it works we will be happy. Yeah Marc Faber too. Says buy now and hold for a long time and quit trading. Of course trading is half the fun and makes my broker money too. <g>
Now off to work.
Dan,
Not at all. You da man! I am just one of the frozen in the head lights ankle biting deer you have read about and a raving lunatic rare golden deer at that. Always bullish. <g>
Sounds great Scotland Elk!
Please buy SVL with both hands. My shares need bidding up.
Hey boxman where is my bbq invite? Ol campy cat are you ready for a tour out west I have a spot for you too!
Yes have been back but the manager has been hovering like and unwanted waiter. <g>
Not that much the volume is low for the day.
basserdan it is always best as you say to check out both sides of the story. I meant no harm I was just "thinking" the more bearish it gets sometimes it is better for the bull case.I appreciate the articles.
Tom
Wayne,
<oh, oh, I almost for got SVL....tom is buying and pushing the price up to
$1.15....>
Hey I have supported this one enough. It's time for the rest of you to step up to the plate and make a donation. Still.....................................
I am happy with what I have. Not buying or selling anything today
Tom
Time will tell. <g>
Big early office meeting gone for 3-4 hours now.
Might negate the lower gold or hui prognostication?
That may make a fun trip and visit sometime. Looks like we get a bounce today.
tom
PS:I will be out the 1st few hours today with an office meeting. Also under guard with new management in office starting next Monday. <ng>
I bought some of your SVL. <g> For the long long haul Dave we should each own CDE. I do not own any yet.
Tom
Frank I just got an e mail update from Ian McAvity from Toronto. He is a long term gold bull but thinks we may see the 200 day average before the next assault on 415. Ouch! Down to 1150 HUI and 325-340 gold. He is pretty sharp. But I just have my grassroot plays for now and hanging on. Just kidding on last post. I don't make too many calls am just bullish for the big big picture.
Tom
But Frank I had made such a great call recently it was just the wrong way. Wrong way loantech. <g> That is why I have two new bicyles instead of BMW's. <g>
huesos I am not buying CBR on the current run but may do so this coming winter if it falls back.
basserdan,
The more bearish stuff you can find the better as POG may not rise until bearishness is pervasive.
Tom
Wayne this may be of intrest to you. portion of the company is in your neck of the woods.
From the CBR board on SH:
OCTOBER 6, 2003 - 09:30 ET
Strongbow Announces Acquisition of Claims in Committee
Bay Gold Belt, Nunavut Territory
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Strongbow Resources Inc. (TSX.V-SR)
reports acquisition by staking of approximately 200,000 acres of
mineral claims over potential gold-bearing Archean greenstone
belt geology near and adjoining claim blocks owned by Committee
Bay Resources Ltd. (CBR) in the Committee Bay Greenstone Belt,
Nunavut. Costs of staking and resulting claim ownership are
shared 50:50 with Navigator Exploration Corp. (TSXV-NVR). The
Committee Bay Greenstone Belt is 300 km long, 5 to 50 km wide and
geologically comparable to the great Canadian gold producing
greenstone belts of Red Lake, Timmins, Kirkland Lake and
Yellowknife. High grade drill intersections recently announced by
CBR, including 16.0 g/t Au over 12.6 m, 19.0 g/t Au over 14.4 m
and 24.8 g/t over 12.9 m, have confirmed the potential for
economic grades and widths in the Committee Bay Belt. An
aggressive exploration program on the newly acquired
Strongbow/Navigator claims is planned for 2004.
At Strongbow's Curraghinalt gold property in County Tyrone,
Northern Ireland, Tournigan Gold Corporation (TSX.V-TVC) has
reported (see October 1, 2003 news release) the results of a four
hole first stage drilling program designed to test for southeast
extensions of the three main veins that make up the Curraghinalt
resource, previously estimated to be 468,000 tonnes at average
grade of 16.9 grams gold per tonne - the largest known gold
resource in the United Kingdom. The veins are high grade
(generally 10 to 25 g/t Au) but narrow (generally less than 1.5
m), with complex geometry pinching, swelling and splitting along
strike and down dip. The four reported holes indicate that the
three main veins (and a fourth newly identified vein) in the
Curraghinalt gold system can be traced approximately 325 metres
southeast of the existing outlined resource. These results are
considered encouraging and consequently the Tournigan drilling
will continue at Curraghinalt. Following completion of $2,000,000
in exploration expenditures by Tournigan, Strongbow may elect to
participate as a 49% joint venture partner or accept further
dilution of its interest.

Well $3.50 would be a major low eh? <g>
Taking it on the chin!
Pretty good results recently on Leg.
Portions printed with permission from today's weekly update. From the great technical analyst and person who sees and utilizes varying monetary relationships and trends to a greater degree than any one on the web, Steve Saville:
http://www.speculative-investor.com/new/market_logon.asp
<The only surprise so far is that the drop in the gold price to test support at 370 occurred over the space of 2 days rather than 2 weeks. This, in turn, probably means that the gold-market correction is going to be over a bit sooner than previously expected.>
<Whereas the daily chart of December gold suggested a target of $370 for the current correction, the below weekly chart shows equivalent support at $365. Either way, gold is probably close to its correction low.>
<If the current correction in the gold market turns out to be longer and deeper than we currently expect then this would indicate to us that a major peak in the gold price was most likely not going to occur until well into next year. We see little chance that the spike up to $395 during the week before last will turn out to be a major peak given the substantial downside in the US$ that we are confident will occur over the coming 6 months. In our view, a major peak in the gold price will only occur after the gold market has discounted a drop in the Dollar Index to around the 80 level.>
Thanks for the link much appreciated.
Thanks Frank.
John Embry had an interview or an article in Investor's digest of Canada on Oct 3. any link? I am going to do a further search at this time.

I thought this would work out, but it hasn't. Without explanation I am banning myself and will not post here any longer. I have no plans as to where I might go.
Good Luck To All Of You.
nspolar
I am with you all the way on that post. The way I sort of buy bullion is by paying my house down. I treat it like a home so am not interested in if it goes up or down in value and will not borrow more against it. (Unless I had to for an unseen reason.) But I want no debt more than bullion right now. I already have all my eggs in one basket so to speak.
As far as storm clouds who knows but if any ever came about a market crash is preferable to a major war in my book. But one may precede the other some day.
tom
Kastel that was good. I think Frank needs to award tackler the Golden Poster Hero Of the Week award.
