CAON-new one
I play these criminal scumbags for all they are worth. I respond that I am very interested but they have to call me first. I then give them the number of a FBI office. Many will email back saying their "refugee" camp, etc., does not have a phone. I then ask them how they are using the computer. Those who do call the number I gave them NEVER REPLY back to me,lol.
My last email to them says I have turned over all of their emails to a group of terrorist hunters who promise to hunt them down and beat the &^%* out of them. I never receive another email, lol.
Another day, another "someone knows something", "going to the moon", "this is a scam", "we will have a PR today", etc, etc, from posters who have nothing better to do and know zilch about what will happen.
Penny buyers beware-check out the email scammers before buying. It is not always the company scamming (but many pinks do so) but a buyer will buy a block and then email scam the heck out of it---then dump after you buy.

Making a killing and so are the people who Follow them.
The key is, knowing which companies have the big potential. We have
found one that we believe is a winner.
Hemis Corp. (HMSO)
Currrrent Price: 0.92 (+5%)
Why is this getting our top rating?
Number one is the quality of the company and the World Class properties
that they are working on. One of those properties is about to cash in!
On June 5th, HMSO put out an update for their El Tigre property Drilling
program and we believe that this is a real winner! Check your favorite
financial news source for full details.
Highlights include:
The initial phase of drilling is intended to test several gold-bearing breccia
zones. Without exception, the completed holes show signs of
mineralization. Broad intercepts showing signs of brecciated, silicified
and/or sulfide-bearing zones have been logged. Dr. Douglas Oliver, the
chief geologist and drill supervisor at El Tigre, stated that the second hole
looked particularly good. "The rocks are gorgeous. A continuous intercept
of over 80 meters shows signs of being strongly mineralized," Dr. Oliver
stated.
In addition, strong signs of the mineral molybdenite was noted below the
mineralized breccias in hole number two. Hemis initially considered El
Tigre to be strictly a gold target. However, several lines of evidence
suggest that additional exploration for the mineral molybdenum porphyry
is warranted at El Tigre.
In addition to the strong possibility of molybdenum bearing-veins on the
La Centela concessions, multiple granite and rhyolite intrusions support
the possible existence of a molybdenum porphyry system. Evidence for
this was noted in drill hole two where inclusions of rhyolite porphyry
occur in granite. Normally granite would lie deeper and be older than the
rhyolite. Also, the granite is extensively fractured with pyrite covering the
fracture surfaces. It is hoped that molybdenite will replace the pyrite at
depth.
Samples of the El Tigre drill core are currently being assayed at the ALS
Chemex lab in Hermosillo, Mexico. Hemis is expecting the results from
the first hole this week with the results of additional holes to be received
on a weekly basis going forward.
This is the PERFECT time to get in. There is amazing potential here and
the weekly updates are going to ramp this one off the charts!
Yep , Petard will have some painters in the cell with him to spruce the place up,lol.
Thanks Roger-this can only help pps IMO.

Calcitonin by Ray Sahelian, M.D.
www. raysahelian. com/calcitonin.html
Calcitonin is a naturally occurring peptide hormone which acts via specific receptors to strongly inhibit osteoclast function. It has been used in the treatment of osteoporosis for many years. Historically, calcitonin was administered as a parenteral injection, but the intranasal formulation is now the most widely used because of its improved tolerability.
Until recently, calcium supplementation with vitamin D and hormone replacement therapy were the mainstays of treating osteoporosis associated with menopause. Hormone replacement therapy, indeed, was (and is) effective in preventing fracture, but is no longer to be considered to be a primary indication for this purpose. Thus, while continuing with calcium and vitamin D, drug therapy now consists of the antiresorptive agents: raloxifene (Evista), calcitonin hormone, and the bisphosphonates. These drugs reduce bone turnover, and do prevent fractures, but are limited to halting further deterioration of skeletal microarchitecture. However, recent evidence points to potential long term serious side effects to the use of bisphosphonates.
Human Calcitonin and Ostoporosis
Calcitonin is a naturally occurring peptide which acts via specific receptors to strongly inhibit osteoclast function. Historically, calcitonin was administered as a parenteral injection, but the intranasal formulation is now the most widely used because of its improved tolerability. New approaches are currently being investigated to enhance the bioavailability and effects of calcitonin, including oral, pulmonary, and transdermal routes of administration, and novel allosteric activators of the calcitonin receptor. Several controlled trials have reported that calcitonin stabilizes and in some cases produces a short-term increase in bone density at the lumbar spine level. The most relevant clinical trial to evaluate the effect of calcitonin in the prevention of fractures was the Prevent Recurrence of Osteoporotic Fractures (PROOF) study, a 5-year double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial showing that salmon calcitonin nasal spray at a dosage of 200 IU/day can reduce the risk of vertebral osteoporotic fractures by 33%.
Calcitonin Function
Calcitonin and its receptor are well known for their ability to regulate osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. Calcitonin has been suggested to be a renal Ca(2+) and Mg(2+)-conserving hormone and may share similar signaling mechanisms with PTH.
Oral Calcitonin
Calcitonin is approved in nasal spray form for treating the bone-thinning disease osteoporosis, and works by preventing the body from re-absorbing bone tissue. Recently an oral formulation has been developed to side-step the tissue irritation that can occur with the spray. To investigate the oral drug's effectiveness in osteoarthritis, Dr. Daniel-Henri Manicourt of the Universite Catholique de Louvain in Brussels, Belgium and colleagues randomly allocated 41 knee arthritis patients to placebo, 0.5 milligrams of calcitonin daily, or 1 milligram daily for 84 days. The developer of both the nasal and oral form of calcitonin, Novartis, helped fund the study. Levels of several of the arthritis progression biomarkers dropped significantly in patients taking 1 mg of calcitonin, while holding steady in patients on placebo. Reduction in pain was similar among all three groups, but only the patients taking calcitonin showed significant improvements in function. Arthritis & Rheumatism, October 2006.
Calcitonin Side Effects
Oral calcitonin has side effects of headache and stomach irritation.

Top 10 spammer nabbed
Feds say computer users will notice decrease in junk e-mail following arrest
The Associated Press
Updated: 8:22 a.m. ET May 31, 2007
SEATTLE - A 27-year-old man described as one of the world’s most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.
Robert Alan Soloway is accused of using networks of compromised “zombie” computers to send out millions upon millions of spam e-mails.
“He’s one of the top 10 spammers in the world,” said Tim Cranton, a Microsoft Corp. lawyer who is senior director of the company’s Worldwide Internet Safety Programs. “He’s a huge problem for our customers. This is a very good day.”
A federal grand jury last week returned a 35-count indictment against Soloway charging him with mail fraud, wire fraud, e-mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering.
Soloway pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon to all charges after a judge determined that — even with four bank accounts seized by the government — he was sufficiently well off to pay for his own lawyer.
He has been living in a ritzy apartment and drives an expensive Mercedes convertible, said prosecutor Kathryn Warma. Prosecutors are seeking to have him forfeit $773,000 they say he made from his business, Newport Internet Marketing Corp.
A public defender who represented him for Wednesday’s hearing declined to comment.
Prosecutors say Soloway used computers infected with malicious code to send out millions of junk e-mails since 2003. The computers are called “zombies” because owners typically have no idea their machines have been infected.
He continued his activities even after Microsoft won a $7 million civil judgment against him in 2005 and the operator of a small Internet service provider in Oklahoma won a $10 million judgment, prosecutors said.
U.S. Attorney Jeff Sullivan said Wednesday that the case is the first in the country in which federal prosecutors have used identity theft statutes to prosecute a spammer for taking over someone else’s Internet domain name. Soloway could face decades in prison, though prosecutors said they have not calculated what guideline sentencing range he might face.
The investigation began when the authorities began receiving hundreds of complaints about Soloway, who had been featured on a list of known spammers kept by The Spamhaus Project, an international anti-spam organization.
'Way beyond a nuisance'
The Santa Barbara County, Calif., Department of Social Services said it was spending $1,000 a week to fight the spam it was receiving, and other businesses and individuals complained of having their reputations damaged when it appeared spam was originating from their computers.
“This is not just a nuisance. This is way beyond a nuisance,” Warma said.
Soloway used the networks of compromised computers to send out unsolicited bulk e-mails urging people to use his Internet marketing company to advertise their products, authorities said.
People who clicked on a link in the e-mail were directed to his Web site. There, Soloway advertised his ability to send out as many as 20 million e-mail advertisements over 15 days for $495, the indictment said.
The Spamhaus Project rejoiced at his arrest.
“Soloway has been a long-term nuisance on the Internet — both in terms of the spam he sent, and the people he duped to use his spam service,” organizers wrote on Spamhaus.org.
Soloway remained in federal detention pending a hearing Monday.

Experts Say British Cases Are Reminder That Mild Bird Flu Could Also Cause Pandemic
Tuesday May 29, 11:50 am ET
By Maria Cheng, AP Medical Writer
LONDON (AP) -- Four people in Britain who tested positive for a mild strain of bird flu should serve as a reminder that a virus other than the feared H5N1 strain could also provoke a flu pandemic, experts say
Health officials in recent years have focused on the threat from H5N1, which has killed at least 186 people worldwide since 2003. But some experts worry that seemingly less dangerous bird flu subtypes like H7 aren't getting enough attention.
"There may be a bit of complacency when it comes to recognizing the pandemic potential of H7 viruses," said Dr. Michael Perdue, a World Health Organization expert.
Last week, British authorities confirmed that four people tested positive for H7N2, a mild strain of bird flu. The four were tested in connection with a small farm in Wales where chickens died recently. Health officials were checking 142 other people for infection, including 11 reporting symptoms of flu or conjunctivitis.
More test results are pending, and officials said the number of confirmed human cases could increase. Those who are thought to have had contact with H7N2 are being offered antivirals by health authorities.
Having so many human cases at once is a potential concern. In Asia, where H5N1 has circulated most widely, millions of people have been exposed to millions of infected birds, resulting in about one new infection per week.
"Here, we're talking about a small number of birds and yet we still have four cases," Perdue said. "Unless there's something unusual about the contact with birds, that suggests the virus is finding new ways of getting into humans."
The H7 subtype has previously sparked human outbreaks. In a large outbreak in the Netherlands in 2003, 89 human cases were reported, mostly of conjunctivitis, as well as one death. There were also at least three likely instances of human-to-human transmission involving family members of poultry workers. In the case of the single fatality, officials noticed that particular virus had about 10 mutations.
British officials have been quick to reassure the public that the "low pathogenic" H7N2 virus -- in comparison to the "highly pathogenic" H5N1 virus -- poses little risk to the population. Indeed, H7N2 appears to cause only mild symptoms such as eye infections.
But low pathogenic viruses can quickly morph into highly pathogenic ones, sometimes within weeks. Too little is known about flu viruses to predict with any certainty which ones are most lethal for humans.
"The pandemic risk from low pathogenic avian viruses is almost as bad as that from highly pathogenic avian viruses," said Dr. Angus Nicoll, an influenza expert at the European Centre of Disease Prevention and Control.
"When people say low pathogenic or highly pathogenic, that only refers to how unpleasant the disease is for birds," Nicoll explained. "That's almost irrelevant for humans."
Like all flu viruses, low pathogenic viruses mutate rapidly, and could theoretically transform into a pandemic strain without the warning signals of a more virulent strain, which would leave many dead chickens -- and perhaps humans -- in its wake. Experts also worry about the possibility of a bird flu virus mixing with a human flu virus to create a new pandemic strain.
"If you have an H7 virus causing mild symptoms, that might give the virus the chance to reassort into a more dangerous virus before anybody notices," Perdue said. And for health officials hoping to quash a pandemic in its emerging stages, it might be too late to contain a global outbreak without an early warning.
Most experts believe that the preoccupation with H5N1 as the most likely pandemic candidate is justified.
"The situation with H5N1 is very intense," said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the United States. "We know that H7 can cause outbreaks in chickens and that it can occasionally jump the species barrier, but it has not done it nearly to the extent of the H5N1 virus."
Unlike many other bird flu subtypes, which disappear off the radar after a short period, H5N1 has remained entrenched in the environment, and continues to spread to new areas.
Still, while no bird flu virus can be ruled out when it comes to igniting the next pandemic, some clues may exist. Though H5N1 has several worrying characteristics, other flu subtypes are also in the running for the pandemic title.
"The last two flu pandemics were the result of a human flu virus recombining with low pathogenic avian viruses," said Perdue. The H7N2 recently detected in Britain would fall into that category. "Given that historical context, perhaps we should concentrate our efforts a little more in that direction."
Only those with inside connections know, imo.

So do I but have not investigated (DD'd) any. Do you know how many co's are currently doing R&D into this area? I am guessing several big pharmas are looking at it.
Had to go to trash can to get the flyer-thats the company. I had never heard of it.
I assume this company would not be a competitor to NNVC as they are targeting bacterial infections (I think) from my quick scanning the lit. Thanks.
We have in NNVC a nanomaterial that targets a ingredient to a specific type of virus.
In Saturdays mail I received one of those hype flyers re a small biotech which has developed a "novel" method attaching a drug to a chaperone protein (RAP) which guides the drug iv through the body. When the RAP recognizes its intended receptor at disease site (organ or tissue) it attaches to the receptor passing through along with the payload (or drug).
Anyone aware of this and is it anywhere close to action of nanoviricide?
Please someone, explain-I thought UGNE held the patents. Why no mention of Unigene here?
