Huh I prey the same fate don't get GLCC. Trading on these systems makes approval of a healthy, stable and serious company of which management is protecting it's shareholders. Being notorious and trading on NASDAQ doesn't mean so much, it might just be a sign of a bad performance in the past. IMO if they finally qualify (and if it is their intention) it means that a company is fully qualified and met certain requirements to do so.
I don't think you could name companies trading on AMEX/NASDAQ fraudulent and/or corrupted except in the case of Enron.
When I look back the past 8 months i don't see it started trading as a sub penny stock. Yes it plunked down as being a penny when the company stated massive naked short selling, but it was never a penny stock. By the looks of it the real value of the company is IMO somewhere between .2 and .6c at the moment.
This company GLCC has been trading on US market for 8 months, it takes some time to switch between market systems i.e meeting certain requirements. Anyway, what does IR company have to do with trading on different markets, trading there or not. It is up to the company's performance to qualify to switch/uplist. There were peaks and plunks but I believe they will make their strenuous effort to do so.
thanx

Exactly, what I meant by investing is reducing the total number of shares outstanding. So buyback can come prior to buy out but either would do big time.
like I said I believe this is going to be an interesting battle in Q3.
"It would explain why a great company on paper actually chose to start trading on the pink sheets wouldn't it?"
But why are they considering and entertaining the idea of moving to Nasdaq/Amex? I believe, yes, they are thinking of having their pps climb at least by the looks of recent runs.
A mere simple example: If they have recorded an enormous company's growth and so on, they are the people of dexterity and know how to invest their money. If they plunk pps to subpennies how could it attract more serious investors, lest some want to play subpennies.
Apart from that, if we leave it aside, starting from August this is going to be a great battle to wage.
1) They need to complete the buy out and have the pps climbing
2) They need to perform strong marketing strategy with the olympian
They need to invest their money wisely so the business starts paying off. But that is what revenues are for IMO. And more investors attracted.

It is up to GLCC to generate more revenues, open new stores, sponsor an olympian, merger whomever they find it comfortable but i don't really care unless a clear corporate action is taken which is buyback or/and buy out. That would create healthy and stable environment and attract more investors. The good thing is that they rescinded the previously announced deal and that they do DD about another offer. IMO we're close to get going straightforward.
Aug 1-15 is crucial IMO. After that all of the above said will be directly affecting pps.
Chinese people are investor savvy, they know how to grow business i do believe GLCC is set on the right track IMO!
thanks
I think they rejected the previously stated deal because it wasn't worth at least 0.039c. Simply $300 000 / 42 467 888 = 0.00706416104 if we're taking the whole float into consideration.
I don't know on which basis the buy would take action, I mean how many shares will be bought but I believe just enough to get us going forward.
The initial deal was rescinded, so buy back at $250.000 is history. Now 3.9c is the real value maybe not for the whole float but enough to get us back to 168M O/S where we used to be lately.
I agree 3.9c is not "something that big" but would do enough to make pps start climbing.

I can only say we can expect an update on it soon in news or filings. 2MM market cap is not to be thrown in the air but I really think the bank or real estate co was picked up with due diligence.
What I'm trying to infer (in regard to the poster who e-mailed me a comprehensive info on company and it's activities), some management board members are real estate tycoons.
Hope I'm performing right. It's almost 1am. Good night.
Yeah, but baggering a CEO apart from her conducting e-mails through IR won't do a thing.
so PLC just stands for such an entity and the business performs as a real estate co? interesting

yes, that's exactly what they do, http://www.pinksheets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=16397 it says concern for shareholders or so.
Besides, running the company and multitasking management is the most important part of a CEO's job description. They just need to answer a ton of e-mails from everyone?
It really doesn't matter whether your a Bill Gates or a Dongmei, how would you feel If you were to be e-mailed by thousands of shareholders and/or followers in a single day? it surely isn't a CEO's job, that's why it shouldn't be available in public and that's why they hire IR firms.
Yeah, notice the paint down on previous close? Who do you suggest we go with? Let me guess Ludlow?
your welcome. Thanks to the Chinese speaking poster for his opinion on spellings which clearly explains the difference. Dongmei, Doi Mei whatever is the same person and due to the nature of Chinese language and the way one pronounces we have some variations in transcription.
She's a CEO. CEOs do not talk to shareholders, that's the IR co job.
Also I asked IR via e mail on several topics
His answers ///////////////////////

It had 2 big runs just weeks ago. I think it can, that's why I'm here.
Whats your point? Real Estate money is behind this? That's good isn't it?
OK, thank you
www.minamargroup.com/helpdesk right?
Can you please provide 5 different ticket numbers so IR can see where they are? They say all tickets answered up to yesterday.
thank you

I used to work for the European largest tender database corporation. The business was growing rapidly, it had a division which used to develop web sites for Canadian market only (since co-CEO was Canadian), and the division still has no web page!!
OK, the model could not be reflected just like that, but we'll see...
So far I can only say I hope entry into China/Asia index fund could make us rolling. A good point to start from IMO.
The most widely followed index is the S&P 500 to be tracked.
OK the company's not buying back but we have a big buyer here. IMO once it hits 0.2 this will have a firm and a healthy foundation for a stable price. Once index fund is set up, this is going a step up at a time.
IMO this has a potential to go really up 1$ or more! But we will most likely see 0.2 soon and then maybe 0.5. stay tuned
428,325 shares traded as of today?? I want to see millions traded and counting! Like it was lately.
This all is becoming to resemble a TV novel , like now Ludlow fund china is suing IR with a lawsuit and ready to throw money in the air.
This issue will most likely end up at legal counsel like the previous one.
Lets hope the news of yesterday play in our favor. around 20M shares buyback plus spin-off. I think the August is crucial...I also think 0.1 is gonna shift to 0.2 very soon.
I think we could expect an official filing on company's business growth soon, with concrete numbers. IMO in August.
As per company's PRs, there are always more new stores added plus gas distribution..the numbers may vary so noone can tell for sure. I don't care as long as it makes money for me
yes that's what i wanted to ask you, why don't you just bring it back to your broker? of course it's up to you to do whatever you want, but I'm just wandering.
I remember seeing GLCC's status on PS as "Limited".
