Stead claiming Handcamp in Kats name in dec 2003 before kat existed begins to make sense.
I suggest to holders of Katx to look into William Jacobson and atlas.
I have emailed Stead asking was Jacobson at any stage a board member of Katx and how many shares does he control.
Again no reply.
Steads connections
William (Bill jacobson)
He has been listed as a board member
http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/people/board.asp?ticker=KATX:US
Suddenly he is not a board member I wonder why ?????????
Investigated for fraud by sec

The SEC's complaint, filed in federal district court in Idaho, alleges that, from 2002 to 2005, Jacobson caused Osburn, Idaho-based Atlas Mining to sell millions of shares of stock to the public while evading the disclosure and registration requirements of the federal securities laws. Among other things, the SEC alleges that Jacobson issued stock to family members and companies he controlled, who then resold the stock to the public and funneled the money back to the company.
Gair was at cornerstone with stead.
And Mr Zwicker is well worth investigating.
Finally there is a report circulating from Hilbroy
These guys have a colorful past also.

Jacobson again listed as a board member
I only have one post per day
I am awaiting Info that I will gladly pass on to any shareholder of katx.
Thank you
Yes my point exactly
they only have 300k
and in my opinion this management has been diluting
time will tell
Is this our Jacobson?????????????????????????

LOL
Looks like mzei will be heading south this week
no money to even release a pr
nice weekend all
It seems he is a board member
CERTIFICATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS
COMPANY EXECUTIVES
Stead, Ken (Board); Stead, Timothy R. (Board); Matheson, James (Board)
BOARD MEMBERS
Stead, Ken (Board); Stead, Timothy R. (Board); Matheson, James (Board); Akagi, Jerry (Board); Jacobson, William T. (Board)
Is this man on the board or is he an advisor???????????????
The SEC's complaint charges Jacobson with violations of the antifraud and registration provisions of the federal securities laws, as well as reporting, internal control and certification provisions. Without admitting or denying the Commission's allegations, Jacobson consented to settle the charges and agreed to a permanent injunction against future violations of the federal securities laws, a $50,000 penalty, an order barring him from serving as an officer or director of any issuer for a period of five years, and an order barring him from participating in any offering of penny stock for a period of five years.
If one lies down with dogs one may catch fleas
Is this Mr Jacobson on the board of directors?????????????????
Grateful for anybody confirming this indeed is the same person.

Mr. Bill Jacobson (CEO) Atlas Mining stated, "Due to the historical drill results on the Handcamp property further sampling will be performed to understand the gold anomaly of 5 ounces on 7 feet of core drilling." This was completed by the Newfoundland Government prior to our purchase of the property. Other areas of interest on the property came from grab samples that reached as high as 158g/t au (over 5 oz/ton).
Mr. Jacobson also stated, "Because we now hold title to the property and our low acquisition cost we feel we have the best situation possible. Our partner on this property, KAT exploration, will head up the further sampling and will advise us on future core drilling and aerial surveys to best define the true worth of this unique property. Although no future plans have been finalized they may include a joint venture with a major mining company or outright sale. We continue to search for other outstanding opportunities as we move forward and maintain our discipline of increasing shareholder value."
Katg definitely
Katx maybe depending on answers I get back from Stead
Wish you well.
Bad experiences have taught me the best lessons.
It freaked me out when the BIG Bird asked me to post here on his behalf from time to time.
It also freaked me out when Mr Snead claimed handcamp for Kat in Dec 03
Check the ibox its there in the lovely yellow box.
Then handcamp gets good results and bvig 4 for 1 comes along
Nobody knows if that will be a good deal fro katx shareholders.
Stead himself has said publicly that handcamp is the priority, so bvig/katg will be the big mover
Is there going to be a mass exodus from katx to buy katg
I am not a pumper or a basher.
Those niggling doubts saved me from buying at .20 plus.
It remains to be seen if it was a stupid move on my part.
I will let this board know anything interesting and relevant I dig up.
Its a shame some boards only want to hear good news.
I sincerely hope the new management can turn qasp around
Nobody would listen to me when I tried to expose Bradley for the Liar he is.
He deserves to be sitting in a jail cell for the damage he has done to some good folk on this board.
Wishing the best for Qasp
It may serve you well to try and find a few Cornerstone shareholders and ask for an unbiased view of the great Mr Ken Stead.
You may be very surprised !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While you are at it check out all the hype and excitement created during his tenure there and see exactly how very little was accomplished.
Want to have an idea where Katx Katg are going take a look at Kens previous history with Cornerstone
As the Bird says if you wanna know where we are going we gotta take a look at the past.
NEWBIES BEWARE
FACT AS PER SEC FILINGS
They need to raise additional funds to move forward
Fact if you care to look at the charts and count how many times this stock has retraced from .30 plus to .25
No accusations just facts
In my opinion this stock will retrace below .25 because the current management have not got the expertise know how or funds to move this baby forward.
Time will tell and please when we touch .25 there will be no need to apologize as we all have opinions.
Have a great weekend and see you Monday
Please provide verification
If you take a look at sec filings you might come to a very different conclusion
They need to raise funds to move forward
Time after time theres a big dump at .30
I am surprised you haven't noticed considering you are here every hour every day
Yes and that someone selling shares is Ed Marshall and MZEI
They need cash badly
In my opinion of course
.32 and lots of shorts ready to step in
lol
friday week lol
this stock will break your heart
just take a look at the charts
Yes that is a possibility
I have emailed Ken and asked him
Will let you know his reply
Time will tell
Fair point
I have emailed Ken asking him
I am surprised few people noticed that he claimed Handcamp for his new company Kat in dec 2003
In Dec 2003 he claimed handcamp in the name of Kat
Officially Kat was not set up until 2005
Is this not a little odd????
As co founder and director of Cornerstone at that time, do you not think he has a responsibility to those shareholders.
He was a decision maker at that company and he decided to claim Handcamp in the name of Kat.
He states he left Handcamp in 2004
I am aware that 2 other directors left the same year
Would love to know the reasons why there was a bailout from cornerstone
Check through the cornerstone filings
Well worth a read
I have emailed Ken with no response
Apart from one or two niggling questions I am still very keen on Bvig in the short term
Its further advanced and Ken has stated that Handcamp is the priority.
It will be very interesting to see what bvig opens at when all the shares are released and news hits.
yes it does prove at that time he was in the process of setting up Kat.
It also proves in my opinion that Ken serves himself before his investors.
We will see if the bvig spin was a good deal for katx shareholders
Time will tell
Thats a very good point
Check the ibox
Ken claimed handcamp in dec 03 in Kats name
Very strange
Please stop telling lies
I never said ceo cheated cornerstone
what i did say is that he claimed handcamp in dec 03 in kats name
But was Kat in existence in 03?
conflict of interest?
As a director of cornerstone he should have had the interests of his shareholders as a priority and he believed so much he should have pushed handcamp to be bought by cornerstone.
So now he has sold off handcamp to bvig
it remains to be seen if katx shareholders pre july 16th have gotten a good deal.
Holding up rather well considering no buyers at these levels
Hey Pope
Thanks so much for your post.
Its refreshing to find a poster who answers genuine concerns positively and without insults.
I am grateful for the DD
Onwards and upwards
lol
Go take another look and you will see right beside handcamp claimed in dec 03 by Kat
No need to apologise we all make mistakes okay Mr Bean
Lol
A spelling mistake and I was fully aware when he resigned
I have learned the hard way not to blindly trust everything I read about management.
I strongly suggest that shareholders of katx take a look through Cornerstones public filings and see first hand what Ken as a Co founder and director delivered.
You may find lots of excitement generated but little value added in over 6 years
Why did he claim Handcamp for Kat in 03 and not add value to Cornerstone shareholders ??????
He would not have claimed it for himself if he did not know it had value.
So the shareholders where paying for Ken to go prospecting and claim handcamp for himself?
I question his integrity and character to do such a thing.
He had over 3 million shares plus options in cornerstone
He claimed Handcamp in Kats name in 03 while he was still working for Cornerstone.
If he is capable of doing this to his previous shareholders he is well capable of shortchanging his existing shareholders.
Now you may call me foolish all you wish but the facts are there.
Ken claimed a golden nugget for himself while he was supposed to be looking after cornerstone shareholders.
Yes the BIG BIG gold mine Handcamp was claimed in Dec 03 just before he left Cornerstone in 04
Kinda feel sorry for the Cornerstone shareholders
Seems a little fishy and would love to know why Ken really resigned.
Was he pushed out or was he greedy ??????????
Thank you Splash
I deleted the rubbish I wrote
Have been reading up on Katx for too long
Need to sleep
Looks like quite a few people left cornerstown in 2004
I wonder why ??????????????????
I cannot find anything about Ken leaving
Appears Cornernstown where well up to date with all their paperwork

Interesting story from 2005

Would be nice to get a similiar hit with Katx

Thanks Rick
Wonder why Cornerstown let 'kens' mountain slip out of their hands
Was it a case that Ken or Tim filed the claims in their own names
On April 05, 2002, Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. announced that the Company had received the results of a 3-D magnetic inversion completed on data over a portion of the Ken's Mountain magnetic anomaly on the South Princess property. The work had been undertaken to further investigate the potential for iron oxide-copper-uranium-gold-silver-rare earth deposits in the area. The property is located on the Bonavista Peninsula, Eastern Newfoundland, and is 100% owned by Cornerstone.
