Appears Cornernstown where well up to date with all their paperwork

CORNERSTONE ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES
December 14, 2004
MOUNT PEARL, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada; Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc.

(TSXV-CGP) today announced changes in its management structure.
John Fleming, Chairman, announced the appointment of Glen McKay as President replacing Jonathan
Challis who has resigned and is leaving the company.

Also, Mr. Fleming has been appointed Chief
Executive Officer, in addition to his role as Chairman.
Mr. McKay is a successful private businessman with long involvement in the mining and construction
sectors. He is a key member of the team that guided Cornerstone’s development from inception as a
private company 7 years ago through the transition to a public company active throughout
Newfoundland & Labrador. Under his leadership, Cornerstone has been successful in negotiating 10 joint
ventures with partners that include Falconbridge, Noranda and Phelps Dodge.

Also, Deborah Thiel has resigned her position as VP Corporate Development.

Mr. Fleming, on behalf of
the Board, expressed appreciation to Mr. Challis and Ms. Thiel for their contributions to the company.
Cornerstone’s 2004 exploration programs saw total exploration expenditures over $3.5 million, 75%
funded by its partners, and the addition of Falconbridge as a joint venture and strategic partner on the
company’s nickel exploration program in Labrador. Other joint venture partners include Agnico Eagle,
Inmet (Woodruff), Thundermin, Moydow, Kermode and Candente.
With a treasury of $1.8 million and a strong technical team, Cornerstone will continue to generate
projects of merit and advance them to the Joint Venture stage to create value for its shareholders.
