Outstanding. Extremely well said (posted) & complied.
You (two) get four stars.
That seems to be where most of the LONG UOIP private stakeholder's anxiety resides.
Trial & appeals (years?) or settlement (months).
No way. That's the low end.
The MSO's made a profit on charge for the infringed tech/patents.
If settlement, much higher.
75%+ of range, plus extra, extra, extra from Comcast.
Otherwise, see you at the trial, via teleconference.
Yes, JACKPOT too. The game of Clue.
Cluedo (/'klu?do?/), known as Clue in North America, is a murder mystery game for three to six players that was devised in 1943 by Anthony E. Pratt from Birmingham, England. ... The object of the game is to determine who murdered the game's victim, where the crime took place, and which weapon was used.
My head itches for some reason.
That's ONE hell of a NUMBER.
Lots of people, "Yes", but many to a household and business.
Do we have any idea of the total number of:
• All DOCSIS 3.0 non WI-FI modems in-service or deployed at one time (in the past)?
As we know, these are the modems which infringed.
TY Sir LT,
Scruffer
A baker's (dozen) perfect game.

Knock those pins down LU.
Did you know what:
"Mr. Clock, in the den, with the modem" meant?
Swing away Billy.
And the good news is... 3.0 still being sold.
And cheaper.

This one from Mag didn't keep the update (but still in same 4/24/2020 group). ???
It did have:
DISTRIBUTED for Conference of 4/24/2020,... on April 20, 2020
At top.
Maybe it'll change back again once they notice (fix it).
https://certpool.com/dockets/19-455
Still in "Current Conferences, April 24, 2020" though.

Scruff
Oh, just trying to recall infringement damages.
Do you think Cox will go to trial?
Billy may want to though.
$0.28 - $1.06 is a huge spread for x million subscribers per month for y years.
And then Comcast's Willful Intent to infringe.
And future royalties.
It's ALL "Team UOIP" here.
No reason to thank me.
We're all in this together.
When have the time, fun for me to post.
It was mostly driven by my friend who thinks Cox will definitely go to trial b/c "Thought" only $20M.
And then appeal, if lose.
So had to recall and lookup what was posted.
It's $82M was for 7 years and that's on the low-end (0.28), if settle.
So $275-325M is a different story.
And then:
Charter ~ $75M-$90M (low-end) to $275-350M (high-end).
Comcast is bigger than everyone with treble damages so $150M to $500M * 3 ~ $0.5B to $1.5B for them alone.
Plus, Charter acquired Time Warner in mid-2016 so add another $40-50M low-end to $140-175M high-end.
And then all the others.
Plus, future years and royalties.
It's more like I must thank the entire board.
And you're our "Mr. Clock" with both countdowns and the quarantine countup.
Mr. Clock, in the den, with the modem.
Yes, quite fortunately for those holding.
It's gone private now (revoked stock) so won't be able to acquire any shares (at this time).
Do not know what the future holds (relisted?), but this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity.
Unless, you're already long.
Good luck, Scruffer
Sounds like she should be in politics. :)
Tick-tock Mr. Clock.
Also, not sure if "The original" got removed.
Didn't see a Day 1 of home schooling vid with AB.
Hope get nice premium. May get called away.
Yes, this is a tremendous opportunity if have the cash.
Feel so bad for so many. This pandemic sucks.
COVID. SCOTUS & staff just haven't read.
And see your SG against. Confirms LT's post.
And thanks for always updating.
I kept "Coining" Mag's post so it would stay at the top.
I guess you didn't open the link.

Me_2. & a $1 invested soon = $2 post-COVID.
And possibly $3 if invest in big oil.
For those risk-takers, only stick with the majors with good B/S.
Many are going to be wiped-out.
One is already preparing to file for BK.
C, reason BBE. U had lots of Teece posts.
LT: I couldn't find all your posts but found a few, posted a couple.
Had to keep hitting back until found some.
Teece posts meaning the last "Field reporting" at hearing you all so graciously do for the team (and related posts). You were on a roll.
So if:
30M = Subscribers
.648 = per month (40% discount if settle w/o treble for Comcast)
19.44M per month
12 month per year
10 years infringe estimate
That's a discounted settlement of a mere $2.33B.
Divide that by 1.6B shares out = Over a DOLLAR a share after expenses.
But who knows, maybe Billy wants to go to court, get treble, and go for entire $1.08+ and then some.
Thanks, Scruffer
What's your source? Latest = 68M Cable.
Does Xfinity use DOCSIS 3.0?
One would think the number would be much higher than that.
At least, if include, the earlier years of infringement too.
https://www.leichtmanresearch.com/2-5-million-added-broadband-in-2019/
SCOTUS just hasn't read so redistributed.
That's all.
We're all in agreement want DENIED.
Can't remember, but think SG was against???
It's only been redistributed b/c COVID-19.
I'm sure SCOTUS under strict quarantine.
They just haven't had an opportunity to read or deny it.
If it doesn't advance, shelved.
I think 4 of the 9 must agree to hear.
And think Solicitor General suggested against.
It's been so long, forgot what SG wrote.
REMINDER...
$0.28-$1.06 PER MONTH for damages of "xx" million subscribers...
for 12 months for 9+ years = $$Billions$$
Plus, years going forward from Dr. Teece's estimates.
And Comcast for treble damages too!
The soon to be guilty infringers... "Knock on wood". "KNOCK, KNOCK".
Many have consolidated.

That is the damage figure minimum he calculated per subscriber per month. We just have to do the math if we can get some realistic numbers on subscribers. That is the settlement number, I suspect at trial they would use the entire $1.06 for they jury to decide.

For damages, we need to key in on Dr Teece's .28 per subscriber month.
Maybe between now and trial we can figure out the number of subscribers using 3.0 modems, and multiply it by $30.24 (.28 x 12 months x 9 years).

No place to store it. Crazy, crazy.
Unfortunately, small & heavy debt laden oil companies gone.
Will ALL be wiped-out.
Natural gas too.
The majors will get their assets for pennies on the dollar.
On-the-flip-side, hoping our pennies become dollars.
Yes, and I've been in those kinds of meetings. They suck!
Improvise_Adapt_Overcome. ChanBond has a COX fight 2 win.
If it makes it that far.
What are the current odds of trial v. settlement?
Who's gotta a giant swimming pool or cement pond?
Could fill it up with oil for near nothing.
Newbie_here. Always thought, very limited downside, huge upside.
And still think this is the case.
So many prescriptions written, very well received drug and barely touched the global market.
Generic or not generic, this is so undervalued.
Long & strong, Scruffer
Gr8 jÖb GB. I guess still on schedule.
At least until hear otherwise.
Hopefully, settlement is just around "The end-of-summer corner" (or sooner or ???).
How great would that be?
• Settlement
• Football season begins
• COVID-19 fading (this year?)
• COVID-19 vaccine nearing production
• The kiddos go back to school
• Fall / Autumn and cooler weather
• Lawn work ending
• Retirement for many
• Money in the bank
• Stress reducer
• Helping others & charities
• Whatever one's reason?
• Our "Somewhere" TBD celebratory party

It's a workout, Scruff
Good news. We're wired that way. It's natural.
Note to self: No need to feel guilty, unlike the thieving MSOs.
Feels like a big Sunday "Conserve my energy" kind of day, but must do some chores in preparation for the work week.
Getting closer everyday for the big cable company's infringement bill to become due.
Now, pay-up (in most probability--"Dear God").
Our nomadic ancestors had to conserve energy to compete for scarce resources and to fight or flee enemies and predators. Expending effort on anything other than short-term advantage could jeopardize their very survival.

Cox, Cocks, Cox Fight in M-4
Four months (04/18/20) and counting (08/18/20) until "The Big Cox Communications Battle".
ORAL ORDER: After consideration of what was said at the last hearing on Feb. 18 and review of the letters (D.I. [489], [490], [492], [493]), IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that trial against Cox will start on August 18, 2020. There will be no trial on August 21, 2020. Unless the parties reach some agreement on the damages experts, neither sides damages expert shall attend the trial before August 24, 2020, and Plaintiffs damages expert will be permitted to testify on August 24 even if Plaintiff has otherwise finished its case before then. Defendant has a huge trial team from a huge international law firm. If some of them are otherwise committed to other cases, then five months lead time is enough time to make other arrangements. The parties should jointly propose a pretrial conference date to take place before July 3, 2020. Ordered by Judge Richard G. Andrews on 3/16/2020.

One suggestion may be, when filling out call-in info, put:

• Farallon Capital
• Susquehanna Financial

Hi, "8 is Enough" here representing ABC.
Yes, "8 is Enough" like the TV series!
My questions is for JT.
What in the hell are you doing?
Go for it "8", after May 1st though. Call in.
Good luck getting through, Scruffer
To load or NOT to load b4 cc?
Wonder which way we'll break come 3:30ish to close?
Usually, there is leakage.
That will be after May 1st.
This is preliminary.
This conference call is not intended to replace the regularly scheduled call Amarin plans to hold in connection with its reporting of first quarter 2020 results (After reporting ~May 1st).
And from what read over the last couple of weeks, sounds like many on this board have pounded the hell out of Elizabeth for information.
Maybe you missed that part.
And almost all questions are taken from analysts working for big firms anyway.

Billy and our 3 inventors too.
Let's just say,
Come Monday we'll know something.
Vaca-Day tomorrow. Good Friday. Drinking Shiraz. Rough work week.
And GS gave P target of $4.
Probably to buy from retail as their brokers (& same business colleagues) will push to sell.
If gets anywhere near $4.40, buy like hell (but must calculate current premium & OI).
>>> BUT MUST INSURE OPEN INTEREST STILL AT 20K <<<
Someone sold 20,000 $5 June 19 PUTS at $0.70 (as posted by someone yesterday).
$5-.70 = $4.30, but he won't let it get too close to that.
This hedgie or fund manager will insure he keeps his $1.4M premium, even if he has to buy EVERYTHING.
The one caveat is... He can begin to close out his position or premium will decrease so not 100% on this. Have to watch premium, before buying. $5 - "Current--At that date" premium, unless made back his money; otherwise, I'm a big buyer.
Plus, it's a tremendous value, but don't know what news will bring Monday or before 6/19.
