Excellent overview of last weeks trading activity with a very rational explanation of the forces behind it Dooley. Pull backs and subsequent consolidation are very healthy for a stock. It builds energy which can be compared to creating a launching pad upon which to launch the next upward thrust. Technicals are always in play even with event driven stocks. It's how the game is played by the MMs. I expect next week will continue to add MOMO leading into acquisition announcements. By far the best is yet to come. It would be a shame at this point to jump off the train just as it is beginning to leave the station.

Not only does the NYSE fit Dean's style, there is no SP requirement so no issue with regards to R/S. By the way, I live in Kapolei - where are you located?
Makamai
It's possible that it could be $5 in 3 months in route to the Nasdaq, however I would prefer to see QASP on the NYSE - Over 80 percent of American securities are traded on the NYSE, the oldest and largest of all the US stock exchanges. Qualifying for the grandaddy of them all just seems to sort of fit Dean's style IMHO.

QASP Conference Call Summary for May 27, 2010:
1. Dean Bradley, says he has it directly from the Chairman and managing director in London, that log jam has been broken in regards to the bond funding in London, and the 350 million funding will be coming in very soon – talking about a matter of a couple of weeks in traunches. New agreement is they only get equity by how much they fund.
2. New additional financing: Newby & Assoc. Shannon Newby will be in Jacksonville Tuesday thru Thursday of next week. Dean has advanced $100k already to secure monies as stated in NR. 10 Million LOC should have within the next 10 working days. Will have 3.5 mil in working capital from it to begin a real serious share buyback in earnest. Total funding to be 110 million. Newby requires that they be given Warrants upon the close, and those are all being issued at over 20 cents a share...
3. Outstanding Share (O/S) count will be under 1.5 billion (which is the A/S at present) and 100 mil shares was used as collateral and will not be sold into market.
4. Up listing: A condition for Newby loan requires application to Nasdaq or AMEX within 90 days of funding. Dean plans to bypass OTC. Application to up list means audited financials must be completed and submitted to the SEC among other requirements. Dean says our company is going to be big enough and profitable enough to qualify for this sort of listing.
5. Estimated Revenues for 2010: For the acquisitions closed between now and end of June, very confident that revenues will exceed 150 mil dollars. Pre-tax profit will be ~30 mil.
Revenues for 2011: Expect to triple that number...most from Mineseeker operations.
6. MineSeeker: MS will play a major role in revenues going forward. He didn’t discuss the acquisition of Mineseeker in his CC today but rumor has it that its imminent.
7. VLJ (Very Light Jet) program: QASP starts next week building their own VLJ!!! Funding wasn’t completed in the past to move that forward, nor was all the engineering done but the predecessor company paid 50Million for that work. The company wanted 10 mil in previous negotiations for that work which had been completed. Now Dean was able to obtain all the plans for $80,000 and transported it to target #3 in Midwest. Work will resume next week on completion of VLJ. Dean said the company will diligently pursue bringing that certification subsequently to market. (Dean is one hard bargainer - this is genius! )
8. TIGERFISH: BeechCraft will be first high performance aircraft to use working RAPT (Retractable Amphibious Pontoon Technology) technology (BEECHCRAFT KINGAIR) The TF founder and two lead engineers will arrive in two days for meetings of CEOs of #3 acquisition, along with KTM Engineering, who is the engineering/design firm that QASP has employed to make it happen. Dean stated that this will be the first time in aviation history that a high performance aircraft has ever been turned into a sea plane.
9. Conference Call to be posted on website with Video. In about 2 weeks, CC info will be posted prior to CC and folks will then be able to call in and ask questions.

OT Richie - repost it, just leave out the "challenge" Dean refered to as that becomes a TOU violation per MODs
Makamai
Excellent overview Richie - I think we have a real winner on our hands with a brillient and agressive CEO at the helm...I couldn't be more confident in his ability to deliver now that the pot holes have been filled...
Makamai
That was my understanding to Surf - in other words NO A/S increase planned..
Makamai
I was thinking of comments regarding paying for our 51% interest which is supposed to occur more in the near future than 2011.
Makamai
No mention of Mineseeker today - things that make you go Huuuummmmmmm
Makamai
Mahalo titonick - what I want to see now is the 200DMA chasing the SP vice leading it
Makamai
I totally agree - now we tested support at the 200DMA and are bouncing nicely off it. Don't think we have to worry about it any longer. Upward and onward...
Makamai
I would add and close above it, so as to transform it to a strong support level from a present resistance level.
Makamai
Any good news before the CC or as a result of the CC will be most welcomed. What I believe the market is looking for is a meaningful acquisition closed and/or notification of money in the bank. Mineseeker certainly fits the acquisition criteria. When that happens there will be no stopping the MOMO and all longs, especially those of us who have weathered the storm for months, can finally take a deep breath, sit back and enjoy one heck of a ride that should extend for the next several years.
Makamai
Agree Jinman - the 200DMA is a strong resistance level and once we break through it, it becomes strong support. Levels from there to about .035 are quite weak by comparison. Once through .035, she goes up and never returns with only minor hic ups in its way to blue sky above .06 and change.
Makamai
I predict that at this point in QASP's growth stage, that the flippers will be doing more chasing than flipping while the longs portfolios grow by leaps and bounds But then each to his own...
Makamai
Think of the band snapping in a sling shot and you'll have a good idea of what is about to happen.
Makamai
If you look at the chart below, we have support at .008 and around .010. If we break through and remain above the 50 DMA (.0115) which is also roughly the upper Bollinger Band tomorrow, that resistance will then become solid support. The primary short term resistance level is at the 200DMA (.018) so if we can break through that, we are well on our way to the 02's and above.
Makamai
Looking forward Surf to what the rest of the week has to offer - Keep those NRs coming Dean!!
Makamai
Well Richie, it's been a long time coming, but our patience will definitely be well rewarded and soon all the true longs will be reaping huge dividends. I love it when a great plan comes together
Makamai
Unfortunately MMs want a close just below the 50DMA, however I'm good with a 60% increase in SP today...It will only get better from here. A nice launching pad was formed today.
Makamai
Looks like we have the largest volume GREEN DAY since mid January.
Makamai
As far as birthdays go - yours had more impact today than mine did last month (lol). Enjoy!! - also I might add that IMO Dean always has had the vision to make our dream a reality - just that when you have to rely on others outside of your immediate circle of influence to fulfill their part, they often have their own timetable that isn't always in alignment with his. However a competent CEO always has a back up plan, and they surround themselves with competent people that can jump in and salvage a situation when problems arise. That's the sign of a true leader...we have one in our CEO.
Makamai
With the major markets selling off in the late hours due to fears about the Euro - just how many companies ANYWHERE could qualify for and receive 110M in financing in this present hostile economic environment - and this is only backup financing at that!!
Makamai
Excellent overview Banker - folks need to read it over and over again until they get it. The flexibility and diversity you have as a conglomerate, with individual companies spread around the country, vice one big company like Boeing; allows the individual entities to respond to high intensity, short fused projects to bail the big boys out of a jam. In addition, as a conglomerate with pooled common resources, each entity is more cost effective. Its a win-win scenario and demonstrates the brilliance of the man putting it all together. Now add to that the innovative financing aspects which will allow all of this to happen, and IMO you'll soon see Quasar's business model being revered and setting the standards for innovative excellence in both the business and financial sectors of Wall Street.
Makamai
QASP Chart - Looks like the SP is within an upward channel making higher lows followed by higher highs. Only news of substance will cause a break out of this channel to the upside IMO. The SP dropped after Thursday's hangman - based on the technical indicators, we should have a neutral day on Monday and an up day on Tuesday if this channel holds true.
Makamai
Disq - Go to the Quasar website - they now have it under News & Media and you'll get the unedited version w/all the interference included.
Makamai
I agree with your summation, especially regarding the importance of Mineseeker being added to the conglomerate. My DD tells me that all documents were signed when MS folks were in Fla end of last week and all that remains is payment to MS. Dean is obtaining a 50M LOC to tide things over until the bond financing is in. Its all about the money and if/when he receives it. I'm certain that the LOC lender would not have committed without knowing the bond financing was real and will be received in the near term. I have to give Dean, the CEO, a little slack regarding the time it has taken to get the financing lined up do to this extremely unfriendly financial climate we find ourselves in at the present. If he can pull this off, he will have mega star status in the financial world. My DD tells me he will succeed...
Makamai
IMHO, the risk to reward ratio with this stock is awesome in favor of reward, especially at the present price at close today of $.0085. I see very little downside at this point as we hit a 52 week low last week. Folks have estimated the SP between $1 to $3 by December. The company in 2011 could easily have over a 1B of revenue with 7 acquisitions and Mineseeker which alone has 1 contract proposal of 900M over 5 years as stated in the CC. Dean has committed to having the 6 acquisitions not yet named acquired by the end of June at the latest. I'm confident that will happen.
Makamai
Spongeni - Re: PM - OT: regarding the difference between hangman and a hammer look at the following resource - it's much clearer than your example

Makamai
Lets hope we don't have to wait that long and get some news of substance regarding MS before then...
Makamai
CEO of QASP, Dean Bradley, had a conference call yesterday. Very well received. To listen to it, go to the youtube links below. It was broken up into two segments to get it all in. First portion of the CC was noisy as Dean forgot to cancel out incoming line.
Makamai
PART 1:
Did anyone get in using the 404 A/C number? It wouldn't accept the conference # and I tried several times. When I went to the 800 # it was full already...
Makamai
It's a rare opportunity for the little guy to be able to get into a start up of this potential - most go the IPO route. Our patience will soon be well rewarded IMHO...
Makamai
Had the funding come in on time, many here wouldn't have the number of shares they currently have. Just couldn't resist the price today so I raided the petty cash fund for the last time and bought a few more(lol). No matter what the news today during the CC is, I'm holding long and strong.
Makamai
A very welcomed GREEN close for a change - I sense there will be many more to come in the near future..
Makamai
Boomer - I couldn't agree more, seen that time after time of late where the ask is being hit hard and the MMs drop it.
