Millo: It will only appear to be positive if someone with deep pockets agrees with you and shells out some dough. We've been bombarded with "positive" PR's and rumors for years now. What's more bothersome though, is the fact that they buyers keep coming -- they speak with "management", look at some carefully prepared papers, kick the tires and then go away -- never to be heard from again. Kinda like the animals marching up the gangway to the ark -- only this time there's a back door and they march right back down again. Am thinking that our "product" might not be what we are hoping it to be.
Hock, I got a call from the Birdster just a week or so ago. It was the first I had hear from him in some time. All is well with him. He still dabbles in the stock market but not nearly as much as he once did (ain't that the truth for all of us?). He asked me what was happening with Power to which I gave him a totally unbiased (LOL) sketch as to our many trials and tribulations. He also informed me that (gasp) he STILL hasn't received his certificate for the shares in the MikroDry investment. Now THERE'S a shock! He didn't mention anything about his knee that was so badly infected at one time, so I've got to assume that it's okay now. All in all, he sounded like the same old Birdy.
More when it comes available.
teemer: lol, I have no doubt but what he's "trying" which takes some effort. The end result though, is a big, fat goose egg. Please don't mis-read me, good sir, I am not switching camps and will be pleased to purchase the rope for the necktie party if it comes to pass. The key to highlighting absurdity is to illustrate absurdity WITH absurdity -- which is why I used the must absurd character I could come up with. Chriminy, did that make any sense? lol
"I'm sure that it's my fault that we still don't have a battery."
You're not being blamed for anything other than having no class, Tex. Elbee is not the favorite character on many of our plates but I'll bet he's more popular than are YOU! As much as I despise the man, I'd put his efforts many notches higher than your crying and border-line slander any day.
There's nothing -- NOTHING -- that you can possibly say that hasn't been said before. Your repetitious, ad nauseum statements indicate that you have a firm grip on the obvious.
Trust me when I tell you, this board is not going to turn into another e-Y bitch session.
Tex -- your hyperbole is getting dicier all the time. Please tone it down or run the risk of being censored. Nasty word, censorship. Necessary sometimes, though. Please note, I said "please".
Hmmmmm. Who to believe. Who to believe. Alvin Snaper with credentials up the ying yang or our beloved Elbee with a real sketchy past including a scrape with the SEC. Hmmmmm. I give up. Too cerebral for me.
chet-the-jet: There's your answer in a couple of the preceeding posts -- the longs keep on adding. Are they right in their belief that Elbee will take us to the promised land? Only time will tell. Even the ultra-faithful have their breaking point and when and if they quit covering the sell-off, even Ray Charles can see what will take place. I would feel a lot more warm and fuzzy if Wolf and Snaper were still in positions of strength with the company. Imagine, a man with Snaper's credentials bailing out on his own invention! Speaks volumes for me! How many times have we heard: "Tomorrow" or "Next week" or "Next month" or "Right after their big meeting"? Now that the market is making some sort of turn-around, even it will no longer be an excuse for lack of funding, fairly shortly, I would hope.
Lots of dumping again today. Now who can afford to dump their shares at a nickel? Party favor recipients would be my guess. I guess they don't share Elbee's "vision".
I don't believe Pomrehn bought those shares. It is my understanding he acquired them as a "consultant's fee". Could be wrong.
Thanks, Teemer. Regardless of sex, Frost was quick to respond and were very professional in answering my questions.
Best regards,
It took no time at all before a Mr. Weber from Frost contacted me via email and invited me to give him a call as he would be happy to answer my questions.
He took pains to explain the research process that leads to the selection of the award recipient. The analyst takes upward of six months of research including interviews with many people within the arena of study before nominating their selection to a board within the company.
The name of the study that PWTC was involved with is: "World Lead-Acid Battery Markets, Global Study". After all of the interviews and study, this nomination had to go to the Chairman of the Frost Board who made the final selection for the award.
I asked Mr. Weber if there was any monetary consideration between PWTC and his company. He clearly saw where the conversation was headed and stated that their company does not dip their hand into a hat and come up with a company name with money attached in order to find themselves in the running for the award. When I asked how it is they make money on the situation, he allowed as how they sell the study to interested parties within the industry (or from outside the industry).
Mr. Weber impressed upon me that they are more interested in THE COMPANY -- not necessarily the people within the company. They (as do all of us) clearly see the potential impact of the PWTC battery should anyone within the company ever manage to bring it to market. Mr. Weber was very familiar with Alvin Snaper and likes him immensely. I get the drift that Snaper has been interviewed on a regular basis, not only regarding PWTC, but other companies as well. Mr. Weber was NOT aware that Snaper had quit PWTC nor his problems with Elbee.
The long and the short of the conversation is that here is yet another company/individual who can see the potential of PWTC and the value of our product. So, gentle readers, where does the real problem lie?
rooster: If it's incivility you're attempting to inflict, I would respectfully recommend you sharpen your knife. At some point in time, you might, just might find yourself in the catbird seat. Until that time, if you are not enamoured with my posts, please ignore them or, better yet, have logman delete them.
That PR certainly didn't get very wide distribution. Can't find it on AOL, Yahoo or Schwab. The first I saw of it was pmento's post. (I might also add that his post snipped the bottom which had the Frost information -- logman).
Anyway, I emailed Mr. Frizzell to query him as to how PWTC was chosen for the award.
Will report when (and if) he responds.
rooster: IT IS EARNED THROUGH ACHIEVEMENT. Pray tell, what achievement might that be? And how can you tell that there is no exchanging of revenue or shares? Where in the PR or on the website does it say that the award is entirely unsolicited? If Alvin Snaper was still involved I might see the excitement factor. He isn't. Now we're left with the barstool promoter. You and your son have your opinion -- the majority of the balance of the longs have a differing opinion. Who is right? Time should tell.
dfh: I certainly agree that there are a heap of deserving outfits associated with this Frost outfit. The question remains, however, what is the criteria for this award? How is it they heard of a company with a lot of hot air and no product? What is it about this product that doesn't exist that piqued their interest? When is the awards banquet? Who's in charge of the prom committee? Oh, I digress. If this turns out to be real -- and Elbee FINALLY performs an act that results in revenue, it will still take another 5 years for the hardened coating of cynicism to leave a lot of us -- myself especially! -- or should I say ESPECIALLY!!!!!!!
The cynic in me -- distilled and brought to a boil by over 5 years of Elbee bullcrap -- wonders what was the criteria for such a prestigious award. Is this a genuine award or something purchased with treasury shares? There is usually a disclaimer somewhere which indicates if shares exchanged hands as a result of a PR or, in this case, an "award". I saw no name or phone number from Frost to whom those questions might be directed. Hmmmm. Wonder if Elbee can collect his GED there also???
gamood: I can't blame you for purchasing at these levels. You either believe something is going to take place or you don't. I've been fooled by this charlatan so many times that placing more dough in harm's way is a bleak prospect. On the positive, the downside is very limited and the potential is huge. On the negative, Elbee is still "in charge" and that does nothing to instill confidence. Good luck to you and all others who intend to roll the dice.
Also FWIW -- PWTC hit a new 52 week low of $0.05 today. Gooooooooooo Elbee!
Huge anticipation building!!! 66k shares and up 1/2 of a cent!!! Elbee's excellent adventure continues!
4800 -- Try this -- 702-870-8227. Found it on Google. Have no idea how old it is.
4800: I would if I had it, sir. I'm not sure it's available any more since he broke it off with Elbee.
Anyone have the man's number?
Tex: That Swartz thing would have been BAD news. I have heard that they are referred to as the "angels of death" with their dealings. Their money would have been MUCH too expensive and, quite frankly, the product was nowhere near the stage where that kind of alliance was apropos. NOW, however, is a different story. I wonder why Elbee negated the Swiss deal. Those people were ready to pony up some dough for the plates to get the ball rolling over there. Know why I think he pooned that deal? Cuz if Wolf had anything to do with it, Elbee would be against it. Cutting off your nose to spite your face, I call it.
The beat goes on. Think I'll mosey on over to Schwab and see how many shares have been dumped today. Gas for the Elbeemobile is expensive, you know.
Oh yeah, I can't let this pass -- to those who say "give it a rest" -- that's precisely what I've been doing for 5 freaking years with my money -- giving it a rest. Pretty soon it'll be R.I.P. Money.
Good for YOU!
I think the actual rumor is that the battery will be SHELVED by summer.
Primo volume! Too bad it was mostly selling. The Elbee Dumparama continues.
By a show of hands, is there anyone here who can state that they have profited by owning this stock? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? Beuller? Elbee, put your hand down.
Invent: FWIW, it was not I who "offed" your last post.
teemer: Elbee IS a real CEO -- if you don't believe it, just ask him. Just don't ask him to SPELL it.
Invent: How predictable was THAT? LOL. Sometimes I think I might be physic. My wife assures me there's no doubt about it! lol again.
Seems to me that the Elbee "dumparama" should re-commence any day now. With all the volume there a week or so back, there was a lot of double-prints. I'm betting he's got another 4 to 5 mil he wants to unload. I wonder if there was the proper amount of signatures on that intent to dump 6 million shares filing a month back. Seems to me it would be rough getting those signatures. Hmmmmm. It also seems to me sometimes that the "company treasury" is Elbee's private piggy bank.
Harry Kolo -- ROFLMAO -- whhhoooaaa! eom
Harry: Very good questions. He could probably continue on a "business as usual" basis, unfortunately for us. I would gues that his shares are his shares, but an interim CEO/Pres. could probably be voted on by the directors, yes?
Any way you look at it, though, we wouldn't lose a helluva lot -- and it might be entertaining as hell to watch.
Best regards to you,
dfh: Integrity? Half a business brain? Obviously lacking on both counts. Damn, but I wish he'd make a trip to Las Vegas and have him put so far in the slammer that you'd have to feed him with a slingshot!
One would think that being President and CEO of such a dynamic force in the energy arena as PWTC would be enough for one man. Not so Elbee -- check it out:
http://gasplay.talltech.com/investor.htm
OT Logman, no complaints so far -- lol
preamp: Wish I could answer that one for you. Will run another Google and see if there's any reference to his other "companies". I'm sure they'll be "blue chip" organizations.
dfh & hotdog: Thanks guys! Your day will come and believe me, it will be worth the wait. Grandkids certaily can take your mind off of our problems here for a while, I'll tell you.
All the best.
Invent -- IMO, not only is it possible, it has been his MO for many years now! Unfortunately!
Invent: Elbee filed last month to have 6,000,000 shares available for sale from the treasury beginning this month. That, I would think, is where the selling is coming from. The fluffy PR's taking place at just the time that the selling is happening is, IMO, no coincidence. Six years of holding, watching and waiting can make anyone jaundiced as to what is REALLY happening here.
I hope there's a watchdog who follows what happens to the $120k we're supposed to receive. Wouldn't want it to suffer the same mysterious fate that the $50k did once upon a time ago.
PS -- Thanks to you well-wishers.
