BSM -- Thanks to bbotc and swb for responses. We were very similar, c1001, I'm down to 25% of original holding. I think there will be buying opps lower also. With what I did the last three days, I'm taking baby's shoes back, gonna get her a little car.
I agree, C, it's a dilemma alright. I wish all my problems were of this variety.
BSM -- I'm not an expert on it's heat treatment, not can I see the future, I just happened to buy a bunch of shares a few years back. I've been shedding as we ascend but still holding half. It HAS ben a monster, but personally I can't help but believe when the excitment settles down, so will the price. They still have to make some sales. I'm watching in awe like everyone else, wondering when or if I should sell all, but I'm doing so while baby's walking around in a new pair of shoes.
OT: But Rogue . . . who do you think really killed them?
Thanks for noticing, Bigpike, and don't forget pdge. Also holding zncm, been doing well too.
Everyone else who is doing well, let's not forget our compatriots in need down South.

DFNS -- Yes, they make vests, and from what I read on Raging Bull, they have had a buy rec reiterated by an upper end newsletter as reult of problems at DHB, and due to other new products they will be announcing.
DFNS, fast buying this am on no news, yet.
BSM: I mentioned it a few months ago when it was one of my Pick 6 picks, Len. I've been holding this for years, with some sub 1 shares. I would have mentioned it yeasterday had I somehow known about the news today, just like I would be mentioning today all the companies that are going to have good news tomorrow if I knew which ones they were.
It's just another you-know-what kind of stock that has paid off well for me.

BSM up on good news:
Report in CANCER Shows 90% Complete Remission with Advanced BSD Medical System
Tuesday August 30, 8:05 am ET
SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BSD Medical Corp. (Amex: BSM - News) today announced that the current issue of CANCER (104:763-770, 2005), the official Journal of the American Cancer Society, has published the results of an important clinical study that further validates the progress of what the company has dubbed a tri-modality "super therapy" for treating cancer using BSD advanced technology for treatments. Using a triple combination of radiation, chemotherapy and treatments with BSD systems that are designed to increase the effectiveness of both radiation and chemotherapy in addition to killing cancer directly, an international team of researchers at Duke University Medical Center, Norway and the Netherlands gave a powerful punch to the treatment of 68 patients who suffered from advanced cervical cancer. Ninety percent of them experienced a complete remission.
BSD Medical's cancer treatment systems break down tumor resistance to both radiation and chemotherapy by exposing cancer to precision-focused RF/microwave energy, raising the temperature of cancerous tissue to precise levels and creating "hyperthermia" in the tumor. The body responds by rushing blood to the tumor, allowing greater chemotherapy drug uptake in the tumor and oxygenating tumor cells. Radiation requires a strong oxygen presence in cancer cells so that the particle beam can produce the needed oxygen radicals required to attack cancer cell DNA. BSD's systems therefore amplify the effectiveness of both radiation and chemotherapy, while they add additional cancer cell kill based on their exposure to hyperthermia.
BSD Medical's cancer treatment systems have already shown the ability to greatly increase the responsiveness of advanced cervical cancer to radiation therapy through the results of a Phase III clinical trial published earlier in the LANCET (Vol. 355, pp. 1119-1125). In this trial both the remission and survival rate were almost doubled when treatments with BSD's systems were added to radiation therapy.
BSD Medical produces systems that deliver focused RF/microwave energy to raise temperatures within diseased sites in the body as required by a variety of medical therapies. BSD pioneered the use of microwave thermal therapy for the treatment of enlarged-prostate symptoms (BPH), and is responsible for much of the technology that has created a substantial medical industry based on that therapy. BSD's primary thrust is in the commercialization of systems used for the treatment of cancer, and in developments to treat other diseases and medical conditions. BSD was the recipient of the 2005 Frost and Sullivan "Technology of the Year Award" for cancer-therapy devices. For further information visit the BSD website at www.bsdmedical.com.

DNDT -- I like that that the placement is at 96% of 5 day average. They're not giving the stock away, but it's a lot of shares.
Since two of my picks (API & AMLJ.ob) from a few weeks ago have made nice moves since then, I am compelled to change my picks after all. I resisted PDGE earlier because it was so popular, but since it's hanging around SUCH a low right now, I will exchange API with PDGE.ob. Just to give everyone else a chance, I'll stick with AMLJ at whatever it closes at today, however, and I will keep to my MKRS.ob pick despite it being less than .25. Count my MKRS at .25, Len, and keep the change.
ksuave's final picks:
AMLJ.ob, BSM, DFNS.ob, EZEN.ob, MKRS.ob, PDGE.ob
Sorry about that, SSKILLZ1. How about replacing it with API, and thanks . . .

I could have picked pdge.ob in place of a couple of these, but just to be different . . .

I've been playing the otcbb for over ten years now, and I have come to expect that every spring is a tough time for these stocks. I try to always lighten up in March and this year was no exception, though I'm still holding the bag on some of those stocks on your list. Some are not down as badly as it appears, as pointed out by rrrufff. (Was rrrufff named by the Tony the Tiger guy who just died; he's grrreat). I rarely send anything via the PO either, but, as I try to look at the world from a larger perspective than just my own immediate needs, I don't mind the idea of government providing basic services that the private sector won't provide because it isn't profitable. Indeed, that's almost the definition of government. I don't see you carping about large subsidies to the coal industry. That, Sir, is governmental abuse of its powers.

Shell profit at £1.6m an hour
Apr 29 2005
Daily Post
SHELL yesterday reported an "excellent" first quarter with a strong financial performance across its businesses.
The oil giant, which reported the biggest annual profits in UK corporate history in February, said its income had risen by 42% to $6.7bn (£3.5bn) in the period.
Production for the quarter was at the higher end of expectations and exploration drilling results had been encouraging.
The company, which operates a giant refinery at Ellesmere Port, said its plans to merge its Dutch and UK parent companies into one after nearly 100 years of separate operations remained on schedule.
Chief executive Jeroen van der Veer said: "The first quarter was an excellent start of the year for Shell."
The income figure meant Shell made profits of about £1.6m an hour during the quarter.
On Tuesday, BP said it made record first quarter profits equating to £1.3m an hour.
Shell said earnings in its upstream division, which covers exploration and production before refining, increased despite lower production due to soaring oil prices.
The group produced 3.8bn barrels of oil equivalent per day in the quarter, compared with 4.1bn at the same time a year ago.

W. Windsor firm will put radar testing device to test
Tuesday, April 12, 2005
By TRACEY L. REGAN
Staff Writer
WEST WINDSOR - Mikros Systems Corp., a wireless technology company, said it will soon test its credit-card-size device for testing and maintaining radar and sonar systems on U.S. Navy ships.
"We are building about five systems to place on ships," said Thomas Meaney, president and CEO of the Alexander Road company, noting that the first ships to use them will be the Navy's Aegis cruisers.
The equipment will be tested on land this spring and, about a year from now, at sea. It will perform such diagnostic tests as determining whether radar systems are out of alignment.
The company was awarded a small business research grant last September from the Naval Weapons Center in Dahlgren, Va. - valued at approximately $2.4 million - to complete the development and begin initial production of the testing system.
Meaney described the equipment, which is a small printed circuit card just slightly larger than a credit card, as "a compact way to lug around a lot of testing equipment."
People testing equipment now have to carry "a lot of paper documentation and we're building it all into the computer," he said. "It will prompt the operator."
Mikros Systems has subcontracted the manufacturing of its equipment, to be marketed under the name ADEPT (Adaptive Diagnostic Electronic Portable Testset), to DRS Laurel Technologies in Johnstown, Pa.
Ships will use anywhere from one to three of the devices, Meaney said, adding, "We haven't figured out what they will cost yet."
He added that there are 80 ships equipped with Aegis systems, which are built by Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, and another 60 to 70 amphibious carriers that could potentially use the equipment.
Meaney said the device has commercial applications as well, and could be used to test commercial radars and other complex electronic equipment such as radio and TV stations, cell phone stations and airline maintenance equipment.
"We are hoping to get the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), radio stations and TV to use them as testing devices," he said.
Last year, the company teamed with DRS Technologies of Parsippany to win a $100,000 contract from the U.S. Navy to develop a technology that would allow military radar systems to coexist with commercial wireless communications systems.
Current radar systems create interference with commercial TV signals when they come into port, requiring navy vessels to turn them off at times.
The company reported revenues for the year ended Dec. 31 of approximately $1 million with net income of approximately $92,000, compared to $231,000 in revenues in 2003 with a net loss of approximately $114,000.
Mikros currently has about $2 million in back orders.

PRINCETON, N.J., April 5, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Mikros
Systems Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MKRS) is pleased to report the results
for the year ended December 31, 2004. The Company's revenues were approximately
$1,044,000 with net income of approximately $92,000 compared to $231,000 in
revenues in 2003 with a net loss of approximately $114,000. The Company's
current backlog is approximately $2,000,000.
In June 2004, the Company was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research
(SBIR) Phase I contract from the Office of Naval Research. Valued at
approximately $100,000, the contract is for researching and evaluating
techniques to minimize interference between U.S. Navy radars and commercial
wireless communication systems. A final report and proposal for a Phase II
program was submitted in January 2005. The Company is anticipating a Navy
invitation for a Phase II proposal.
In September 2004, the Company was awarded an SBIR Phase III contract from the
Naval Weapons Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA, valued at approximately
$2,400,000. The contract is to complete the development and to begin initial
production of an intelligent test tool for naval radars. The Multi-Function
Distributed Analysis Tool (MFDAT) has been designed by the Company under a
$1,000,000 SBIR Phase II contract, which began in August 2003. This Phase II
contract will be complete in 2005 with all of the follow-on development and
production being contained on the Phase III contract. Under the SBIR
regulations, Mikros will retain exclusive intellectual property rights to the
new design for five years after the completion of the Phase III contract.
We believe this product has wide applications to other Naval and Department of
Defense radars as well as commercial radars (FAA) and other complex electronic
equipment such as radio and TV stations, cell phone stations, and airline
maintenance equipment.
Under this MFDAT Phase III program, the Company has subcontracted the
manufacturing to DRS Laurel Technologies in Johnstown, PA. A contract for
$876,000 has been awarded by Mikros to DRS Laurel Technologies. This new
equipment is to be marketed under the ADEPT(TM) (Adaptive Diagnostic Electronic
Portable Testset) product name, and is planned for installation in the U.S.
Navy's Aegis Cruisers.
Mikros has also teamed with In-Phase Technologies, Inc. in Clarksburg, NJ, for
software support under the program.
Mikros signed a lease for 4,000 sq. ft. of R&D Research Center in Conshohocken,
PA. The Company's technical team currently consists of four engineers. The
Company intends to increase technical staffing over the next several months in
order to execute the new backlog.
