I just bot 1 Jan 80 PUT on APPL, hope it goes down!
Hi, Can you explain what happens when you buy a call and sell a call for a higher price? When you sell a call(assuming that you are not buying the actual stock) do you have to have the money in your account, in case the call is exercised? Thanks
Thank you shakerspeare, this explanation is very helpful. I am also trying to learn the same thing.
$heff, will you please explain how it works, when you buy a call and sell a call for a higher price? When you sell a call(assuming that you are not buying the actual stock) do you have to have the money in your account, in case the call is exercised? Thanks
Instead of selling DVAX, you might want to buy a few puts to hedge and watch just for fun!
I am thinking of doing that.
IPRE, DVAX is up 569% today! You think this is still good to get in at this price? WOW, you are very brave!
NSPH any ideas?
i sold GGP today with a little loss.
I liked your version, very nice!
I am in LEA and GGP, check out GGP
I agree. Not much volume on trades, so we should be ok in the long run. The rest of the market is not doing well either.
Why are OTM calls more expensive than ITM calls? Any way I have no money right now to buy options. GL
Look at DXO, Chartinator play
Thank you Santa, I am in this too. Vol 10 times the avg already!
Great pick!
I see you are all making money on this board! GL I have not been watching. UIS looks like every one is accumulating. May be I will too. thanks
I am going to hold overnight, I hope your system agrees.
Great, let's see what happens. this is fun!
Should we sell some if it hits 27?
Good to know, right now hit first target of 28! hopefully continue down. falling fast.
I am still holding my short, right now there is a beautiful downward head and shoulders forming!
Yes, I am trying to learn that too, but in the mean time I feel reassured by watching what you do.
I also have a cost basis of 1.25, I will watch closely for your signal to sell. Thanks
Is it too late to get in now? Thanks
IPRE, I bought a 40 put on RIMM, can you look at the chart for me and tell me how low you think it might go?
Thanks
I talked with Aimers today too, and he said Javan left to become CEO of a company. and there was some redundancy in what he was doing becase Manu Ohiri was handling the Wallst.net side of things. I will try to add more if I have any cash available. I think it will come back.
Under that press release it says:
Disclosure: Pentony Enterprises LLC has been compensated $12,300 for profile coverage from a non-controlling third party.
So I guess they are not giving them shares.
I called the number for Javan and I got Steve's mail box and I left a message for him, he didn't call me yet. Did he say why Javan left?
Really? i didn't know Javan left the company!

I am still holding a few puts, do you still see this bouncing up today? I got nervous and got out. Will wait for alert to load up calls. Thanks
Hi Blasher, I was wondering if you can explain how you decide which strik price and month to pick, since we are playing for such short time spans why buy Dec? thanks
I sold all my puts at a 50% profit, thank you!
If these levels hold, should we hold till tomorrow?
Your are right, I bought the wrong puts!
Oh well, let's see what happens!
Now it is at 2.10! Would you buy more? Thanks
Obama is not as liberal as the media would like you to believe. He voted for the FISA bill, he refused public funds, etc. Obama is an opportunist, just like all the politicians. A lot of people voted against the Bush policies which got us in to this mess in the first place.
Well, I got some PUTS on ABK today, to make up for the loss.
Also I got a Nov 110 put on AAPL, any idea how low this might go?
Thanks
You don't think LNG will pull back?
I know, the Big board stocks are rallying, but which one should we get in? I got some LDK solar
VRNM - What a beauty! look at the chart!
IPRE, what do you think about STEM?
