Murkowski...
Interesting good, or interesting bad?
The plot thickens...
How much does Alaska make from mining? This will shed some light. https://www.adn.com/economy/article/alaska-getting-its-fair-share-mining/2013/06/17/

What Alaska’s Senator has to say about Pebble. An excerpt from an article in the Anchroage Daily News
this morning.
ADN: Is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' 90-day public comment period enough time for people to review and comment on the 1,400-page environmental draft review of the Pebble mine project in Southwest Alaska?
Murkowski: I am looking at (the report) and saying, I think, given the size and scope, and again the Alaskan interest, the public interest in this, it's probably not going to be sufficient.
So I think we just need to be prepared that we'll probably be joining in (formally) asking for a longer comment period.

You may want to rethink that. “Norwegian Salmon” aka Atlantic Salmon aka Farmed salmon is inferior to the wild fish caught in Alaska. Diet makes the wild fish’s flesh red, supplements make Norwegian salmon’s flash pinkish...supplements.
The wild stuff stands up to the grill way better too.
Just my opinion, give it a try.
I vote for 100%
Sentiment Stockscore 65 ...curious
The road is 500 miles north of Pebble, it will have absolutely no effect on mining in the Lake and Peninsula Borough. None. Albeit a positive for the mining industry in Alaska.
No it will not. It will be a spur off the Dalton highway, 500 miles north of Iliamna (Pebble)

At least the price is going up.
Donlin Gold mine moving forward. How it plays out may be an indicator of Pebbles future,

Mean while in Alaska, the former public face of the Pebble mine project is advancing closer to a confirmation vote as head of the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.

Context is everything.
Despite the federal shutdown, work is continuing on the Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Pebble Mine.
The Army Corps of Engineers is the lead agency in charge of preparing the document.
Corps spokesperson John Budnik said, “The development of the EIS is not affected by the federal shutdown at this time.”
However, Budnik also confirmed that the Corps now expects to release the draft EIS about a month later than earlier announced. Previously estimated for release in January 2019, the draft EIS is now expected in mid-February with publication in the Federal Register around March 1. There will be a 90-day comment period after the draft EIS is released.
During that period of public review of the document, the Corps says that it plans to hold public meetings.
The EIS will analyze potential detrimental and beneficial effects of the Pebble Project and develop alternatives to the proposed mine plan. The finalized EIS will serve as a tool for federal agencies as they decide whether or not to permit the copper, gold and molybdenum mine in Bristol Bay.
The Corps is under the Department of Defense, which is funded through Sept. 30 when the federal government’s fiscal year ends.

I commend the efforts of our staff to make this possible,” Brett I. Gross, President & CEO, Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp.
Are you Roundup then?
Dunleavy
Interpretation is what makes NAK a speculative play.
Present your evidence they support it,,,dude.
Do not assume Alaskans voted for Pebble, they did not. What Alaskans said is that they believe current regulations serve Alaska well in protecting our environment while allowing for responsible development. Its helpful in getting Pebble up and running, but in no way was this an endorsement of Pebble.
It should be noted that the land in question is within the Custer Gallatin National Forest.
and the Dodd-Frank act pays a handsome REWARD.
Oh, the Humanity!
I suppose it’s your responsibility to report him then.
https://www.sec.gov/reportspubs/investor-publications/complaintshtml.html
Who should replace him, and why?
This should shed some light on Mr Brune, https://www.miningnewsnorth.com/story/2018/12/01/opinion-and-guest-columns/a-taurus-role-in-the-age-of-aquarius/5522.html
On that note
"Dunleavy announced Jason Brune as his environmental conservation commissioner. Brune is a former executive director of Resource Development Council. Brune also worked in public affairs for a former Pebble Mine partner (Anglo American)"
I understand your enthusiasm, however, the ballot would only amend Alaska’s fish habitat permitting law.
The election results have nothing to do with liking or disliking Pebble.
Pebble is on state land, it will be a futile effort on the councils part.
Ahh, no we don’t.
