68% of Americans supported the legalization of marijuana, according to a new Gallup poll
It's a record-breaking number after 66% supported new measures in 2019 and just 12% did in 1969
Approval over legal marijuana was split by certain demographics, including Democrats and liberals who overwhelmingly gave support
While Republicans and churchgoers pushed back against legalization

Why can’t Trump go to the White House any more?
Because it’s FOR BIDEN
And the senate is in play...
with Biden’s victory, control of the Senate remains up for grabs. If Democrats can win both of the Georgia runoff races in January, they will flip control of the chamber.
However, the most likely situation is that Biden will begin his presidency with a Republican-controlled Senate.
the market didn't seem too fond of APHA's venture into the brewing world, while elsewhere:
Aurora Cannabis led the way with a furious climb of more than 56% on Friday, bringing the stock’s gain since Election Day to nearly 100%. Tilray and Canopy Growth surged by roughly 23% and 11%, respectively, on Friday.

wtf happened here ... I was off drinking wine after listening all week to builders asking me questions... and I made a wee fortune on the canna markets... but not here... what happened to Aphria... the workhorse ploughing the field for everybody else... wtf happened...?
the Biden bounce.... sweet day for all us longs...
bounce day...
we got 10% ... if Biden wins Pennsylvania tonight then we might get another 10% tomorrow... and depending on Canopy posting financials next Monday we might rise, or fall, with them... I am long in this company because I, and you, know Aphria is a big winner going forward.
There is a possibility that the senate could fall too the Dems, and cannabis companies could benefit.
Republican incumbent David Perdue is currently at 49.95% in the Georgia Senate race, which would force a January runoff if the numbers hold.
Perdue needed to capture 50% of the vote to win the race outright, but it is seeming more likely that he will fall below that, forcing a January runoff against Democrat Jon Ossoff.
The other Senate race in Georgia is already headed to a January runoff between Republican Kelly Loeffler and Democrat Raphael Warnock.
If both races advance to runoffs, Democrats could capture the Senate majority by flipping both seats and winning the White House.
that senate race could be on...

That could mean that pro-cannabis VP KH will have the casting vote...
expect big returns for so many canna companies...
that sounds reasonable... mind you, imho, I think the pps goes higher...
Fab day here at last....
my wife and I have been fighting this war for decades, and in the last few years it really has turned into fun, and abundance, and there is even a brighter panorama ahead of us...
maybe not have to deal with him.... Georgia might have two run off elections to senate in Jan... one never knows how those ballots go... could be a hung senate; 50-50, with KH the decider... if so, if such an outside election won to Ds senators, then full legalisation maybe much nearer than all of us hope for... meaning Canopy, and Ap, become major US players ... maybe it's all won in twenty-one...
agree a thousand per cent with you...

The march to decriminalize drugs moved further across the nation on Tuesday despite continued federal prohibition.
Oregon became the first state to decriminalize small amounts of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and other drugs. And in New Jersey, South Dakota, Montana and Arizona, voters decisively passed laws legalizing recreational marijuana. Cannabis is now legal across a large bloc of states in the West — from Washington down to the Mexican border — and well beyond.

looking like an excellent day... and a quiet board... so quiet one can hear the money grow...
Is Aphria going to buy a US non-cannabis company, and if so, will this new PR outfit launch that news into the market...?
will this PR firm make the American 'buy' announcement...?
