That's good news. Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated.
Short answer - turning debt into shares that can be sold on open market. Check out investopedia for an in depth discussion.
There has definitely been some covering but I can't imagine too many shorts getting in at these levels. Although they know convertibles are going to hit if approved so it wouldn't surprise me of there were a few shorts in at this price level. Fine by me, will just mean they are chasing to cover once things get going.
I'm inclined to believe the chart is being setup for a double bottom. Not a bad thing for us long term.
Yeah, it's not ideal but be it certainly could happen. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see it under a $1!!
Benco Dental was the sign that adorned the Vapor Group office when I visited in March last year. I thought it was odd, but I was told it was not removed for security purposes. Just curious to know if it's still up or did we get a new sign. This post shouldn't be deleted mods. Thanks.
Just noticed several of my last posts were deleted. Mods, stop deleting perfectly salient posts!! Let people see the truth about how great a company VPOR really is!!!! Penny land cometh!!!
All of the vales from VPOR are OEM from china. Ordered off of alibaba. This is why we are the best!!!! Dror knows how to get the best deals from the Chinese so our margins are the best. I'm thinking we get back to $.40 in no time. That'll give us a fair market cap of a little over half a billion. Sounds about right. Sweet!!!
Can't wait to see .40 again. Dror is the best CEO in the OTC!!! Go VPOR!! Weeeeee!!!
Wait, what were those revs quarter? Oh yeah, $0, unless you consider share selling revs.
Just voted "For" everything but the delay. Don't necessarily like the convertibles, but it's a means to and end to me and the end is $5-$7 a share once this ship starts to sail.
The more I looked into VAP$, the more I think this merger is going to greatly benefit both companies. VPCO gets the benefit of deep pockets and a management team that has a solid track record. VAP$ shareholders reap the benefits of being traded on the big boards without the extraordinary costs of filing for an IPO. IMO this was Frost's objective from the beginning and VPCO has been chosen as the vehicle to achieve that objective. I couldn't be happier about it. For what it's worth, my DCA per share is $1.31, but I plan to accumulate more shares if this goes under $1. With the convertibles, it just might and I'm perfectly fine with that knowing what potential lies ahead. GLTA, especially those who bought in way back when, hope you get your $$ back sooner rather than later.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a glut of Form 4 insider buys filed over the next few weeks. Based on former filed 4s, hard to not think someone knew the Swiss debacle was in the works. Panic selling = cheap shares = big controlling interest. IMHO of course. God I love the market. To think I wasted ten years practicing law when I could have been a part of this excitement every day!
Isn't it amazing? All these shorts claiming 20% loan terms when 8k clearly outlines what you just referenced. It's clear the loan terms were written in such a fashion to allow FXCM to collect from clients within a reasonable amount of time. The loan would have never been provided if the likelihood of paying it off wasn't significantly higher than default.
Huge News! Anyone trading using margin no longer has to pay back losses, but only if they are FXCM clients! I expect business to double in six months for sure.
Got my special meeting notice from Fidelity this morning. Will be voting For the merger and all other proposals. Frost wants his stake trading on the big boards. Expect Form 4s once merger is confirmed. IMHO
SEED and CYRN charts are primed and ready to go!
10 billion dollar industry by 2017 with expected triple digit growth over the next few years (current market at around 2 billion). With that rate of growth, as I said in my last post, eventually vapes and e-cigs will overtake the tobacco industry (currently a 100 billion dollar market).
Once this merger is approved, this company will be headed north quickly. You don't have a billionaire like Dr. Phillip Frost investing in an OTCBB company to make peanuts. When sales hit $100 million, expect big tobacco to target it as a takeover. This is a two year hold at a minimum for me, trading accordingly around a core position. GLTA.
What do you think of the $CYRN chart Osprey?
Massive compared to the buying. It's a relative term. Sorry, keep forgetting I'm dealing with most high school grads on ihub.
It's a relatively new industry. Pretty sure no one, including the big tobacco companies, are killing it yet. Once this industry overtakes cig sales there's going to be a whole lot of people scrambling to get in. Bank on that.
SEED chart I setting up for a run. Huge bid support.
IR and CFO won't respond to any of my emails. Hate to say it but thinking this might be going sub-40. It's got to be dilution and massive short selling. Must be nice to sell on the bid and ask.
The merger isn't dead, lol. The board approved it and no one would vote against the merger. Merging these two companies will make it a major player in the vapor industry. One I'm hoping will eventually become a buyout target.
They just keep bid whacking this thing down. If we had some kind of bid support this wouldn't be happening.
Defamation comes in two forms - libel (written) and slander (spoken). If your state recognizes common law defamation per se (specifically imputation of loathe some disease) you might have a claim!! Good luck!
Doesn't surprise me. I've had bids in a number of times and haven't been filled even though shares were traded on a lower bid. The trading doesn't make any sense lately.
Wanted to find out how many shares from the shelf registration have been issued, if any. Would help explain the price being driven down.
Emailed IR and the CFO, Mr. Giannone , as directed by Marlene Cunningham at Continental Stock Transfer and the response was not what I was looking for unfortunately. IR would not provide current share structure, merely referred to 10-Q from November. FYI, anyone who wants to email CFO can reach him at mgiannone@ibioinc.com, although he has not responded to my email.
VPCO was mentioned in an article on Yahoo Finance the other day. Could be a great year for us after merger. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/5-people-getting-rich-off-132349630.html
Please tell me you didn't buy more at .0007 Jerr! Long ways away from your $.22 valuation of SEC-halted SKT$. Thanks for the warning though!
Says the guy still holding (and apparently pumping) SKT$ after being halted by the SEC. Lol, only in pinkie land...
You should just cover already.
Got a premarket order in just to see what the mms would do and they won't fill it. Definitely manipulation. Sad but true that they might just take this thing down under .40.
Current ownership makeup of Hulu:
NBCUniversal Television Group (32%)
Fox Broadcasting Company (36%)
Disney–ABC Television Group (32%)
Interestingly enough I won a one-month subscription of Hulu Plus during the McDonald's Monopoly game this year (love my hashbrowns). It's actually a pretty cool service. Certainly didn't expect this to be the news...
No worries at all. I wanted to make sure people knew I wasn't pumping so it gave me a chance to clarify. It's truly unfortunate the company has failed to execute yet again, but not surprising. I truly hope everyone here that recently bought in will be smart(er) moving forward.
Thanks, as clearly stated the "potential" was qualified by me stating it was questionable. GLTY
Everyone should realize potential is the only thing REDG has at the moment and even that is questionable. As with anything in life, without proper execution potential means nothing. I've traded this around a core position understanding that although I like the business model and potential, it means nothing to the success of the company (and consequently the PPS) until Benny and the boys actually deliver on the idea. If you don't trade for a living, then buying into any of these stocks should be considered gambling and nothing more.
There are many on this board I believe to be genuine and you should be able to readily identify them if you look. Happy Thanksgiving and GLTA.
Found this little blurb regarding shelf registrations and biotech companies...
"Another advantage of a shelf registration is that it allows the company more flexibility about the timing of a stock issue. This could allow it to take advantage of changes in attitudes among potential investors. For example, medical company stocks may find few buyers in the wake of a widespread scandal over medicine. That could change at a later date if researchers make a breakthrough in treating a major disease. Being able to issue stock without delay could capitalize on this change in the industry which may well make investors temporarily more interested in buying medical stocks."
Anyone follow L2 today? Seemed like a crazy amount of short covering action later in the day.
Not a real great quote from Dror, I'd buy a lottery ticket before i "invested" in VPOR as odds of success are about the same. You should really take a trip to Florida and research all the preferred shareholders before "investing" more money. Trade it sure, but invest, not so much. GLTA, hope those that bought at the mid/top levels and are still holding get a chance to make some of that money back soon.
