THAT'S ALL FOLKS !
Famous last words: I'm holding all new positions in AMZN, TQQQ, AAPL, WKHS, SHLL, NEE, COST etc. ect. , et al.
We'll see Rabbit, we'll see...
You're always ahead of the game and patient. I may be ahead sometimes but cannot be patient. At this point momentum stocks are still alluring. Spin the wheel and lay down your bets. Hey, at least I'm picking up some stocks with market cred.
My sentiments exactly. The piggie greed factor comes in to play and a longer term view does also with such notables as AMZN, AAPL, and cost. So theres that dilemma. Whoa is me, whoa is me. I guess the markets will decide for me. They usually do at times.
Be afraid, be very afraid...
Though fairly well positioned in some stocks, I'm so inclined to take profits in aapl, amzn, tqqq, cost , nee, pins, wkhs, shell and dkng before they falter again.
Somebody stop me !
Trimmed COST at 340.75 from a "COST" average of 337.94, based on FIFO.
Stock is way too volatile to trade.
Talking about doom and gloom, SF.
Opened Cost at 340.50
Added at 338.80
Added at 337.77

It could have started everywhere and anywhere, Nick. If the markets were half their price in March, steadily going up or down the results were the same. A crash. Difference being that there is "irrational exuberance" in the housing market right now as there has been during any other bubble pre crash.
Nick,
Couldn't help respond in an open and honest way. I know I know. My bad.
Court,
I wouldn't get too ebullient yet Court. You said it, housing market couldn't be better. Guess what, on every housing market high there's a crash. Uh oh.
It works- for me. When the point of production does not require transmission energy efficiency goes way up.
Your concern for industrial waste is addressable. Think about nuclear waste and automobile combustion energy waste adding incredible amounts of toxins into the environment. Compare this to solar panels where the useful materials are recyclable. Prior to their recycling panels create energy flawlessly from sunlight. There you have your answer.
He is a tyrant that has to be stopped
Back in the fray. among others reopened AAPL at 107.25
WKHS at 22.52
SHLL actually higher than the last sale, but a much smaller position at 39.25.
Elroy:
Last time- supplying energy to batteries for autos from photovoltaic cells will provide clean energy. I could do that right now from excess production I have available from my roof. Period.
Court- Buy Buy Buy ! Not yet though. I have a bit of interest in GDRX. We'll see...
Added to NEE at 273.31. That's it for me. I'll be waiting for the carnage to recede.
Forced out of the remaining shares of SHLL. Pre market blew past stop loss at 42.60. Got out with 38.40, from a cost of 22.60. No atta boys required.
Added to TQQQ at 109.
Bringing down cost basis.
REMEMBER- "YOU CAN'T FIGHT THE FED"
PROBLEM IS THE FED GAVE UP THE FIGHT. SO WATCH OUT BELOW !
Court, that's funny !

Reopened AMZN at 2974 after yesterdays sale at 3110
Little did I realize how not funny The Spanish Inquisition is. Though I still think Monty Python is hilarious.
Trimmed 1/2 position at cost in LVGO, 138.59 before the bloodbath.
Added a ton of other stuff, intc, pdco, rkt, etc. Too many to mention. Famous last words- opened RTX at 58.50 while swimming also and I really wish I hadn't. Closed AAPL on a stop at 108, 107 was cost.
As Red-publicans have said time and again: "states rights". The other point being on top of that fact is that car makers dont want to retool plants providing vehicles to California already. That's to say that they'll be kicking screaming about being told what to do with heir fuhrers demands. California clean air standards produced vehicles have been around for decades. Now mr coal fired is all upset. Boo hoo. It's just too bad that one state takes initiative to clean up its air. Mr coal fired automobiles making America great by dirtying the environment is the crazy in this. And the ones that aren't in California that are so vexed by this are the absolutley stupid ones, that don't get it.
Problem is 1/2 of recipients will get placebo. I wouldn't do it unless I received the drug and there were empirically verified results and evidence post inoculation.
Thank You SF, I had such a huge bunch of laughs. Hadn't remembered how funny this actually was. Made my day.
Personally I'd like to be out of the markets in time for the upcoming election debacle. Doesn't seem to be practical at this point though. trump has to stop looking in the corners for fraud and conspiracies' that don't exist. The republicans are doing everything they can to change the face of this nation. Inexorably, they will fail. The numbers are not in their favor.
Added to ETSY at 117.50- Just an itty bitty amount.
Trimmed LVGO at 139.50 from a cost basis of 130.33
So far this year in the trading portfolio, the proceeds are these-
Totals:
Adj cost 423,740.18
Adj proceeds 492,370.00
Adj gain ($) 68,629.82
Adj gain (%) 16.20
Actually, not that bad....till I have to pay taxes...
Added to PDCO at 22.80
Added to RKT at 21.88
Thanks Court. added to DNB at 24.44
Closed AMZN from a cost of 3010 to 3110. Was looking for more, but, well you know- "Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition".
I have to say this regarding the whole 600 mile or 200 mile thing. The typical auto driver in the US on average drives about 40 miles a day. That means that for most drivers a battery capacity of 40+ miles before recharge is quite practical.
I know everything has to be bigger and better, but there really simply is not that need overall. There are of course many exceptions.
Added to ETSY at 18.53
Oh and not that I love NKLA though it has made me quite a sum in the past and I'm out of it, but I think this whole lithium thing and raw materials aspect is an important concern. I'm beginning to believe that Hydrogen is a viable alternative within that context.
Court, first off thanks for the atta boy.
The adage I use is "go where the money is" in response to your comment referring to the stock market as the casino of choice.
Just remember what's been said and highlighted in the movie "Wall Street"-
"Greed is good".
And don't forget that famous phrase by Monty Pythons Flying Circus-
(While everyone is throwing money at a wall to see what sticks) "Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition". So there's that.
Thank you Court. I'm out of PIC minus a few cents. It's trading higher but lower than my buy. I'll wait and see...
SHLL doesn't seem to be under the same pressure that WKHS and GP has been under. So, given that PIC is a spac merging with a going company much like SHLL is merging with Hylion that's actually making money, I'm more partial to PIC than WKHS right now.
I'm going to take a closer look at BYDDF, but do not like Chinese companies purely because of the shenanigan's that trump has been pulling with butting in to the private sector.
Do me a favor, if you guys are going to refer to company stock, kindly refer to the proper stock symbol.
BYD is not the stock symbol,
Trimmed wkhs at 26.05, from 16.22
Under continued pressure today.
Just closed position from remaining cost basis of 15.77 at 25.80
Oh well...
Took a reduced position in pic at 13.55
I'm certainly right in the sweet spot then with woof woofs like abbv, swt (which I added again recently at 97) nee at 276.23, T the most major disappointment with a nice dividend, csco the black sheep of the dividend paying world of let downs and of course king of the horrible INTC. Need I say more. Want more? I got a million of 'em, hot cha cha cha.
Oh, incidentally, from adds in one account I still have some PINS left at a cost basis of $33.75.
Yay.
SF,
I'll take that as an atta boy, thanks.
I guess its relative. Since it spent most of its stay with me under water. You know how much I dont like the color red...
Way too much ! You need to get out more. Lol.
Listen to you Court. A scientist !
Out of another doggie. Pins at 39 from 36 and change. Bye bye !
Reopened amzn pre market at 3010. Looking for a quick bounce and out.
So bought tqqq at 110. It closed at 119. Unfortunately after the position started taking on water to 108, closed at cost. That and closing upside down forever fsly at cost $4 per below it's close and I'd say this was a particularly shitty day.
I'm sure the tqqqs will now run to 140 again.
Should have gone swimming. Pool closing soon. Last day this Sunday. Oh no.
Opened AAPL at 107
Ooh an atta boy. Thanks Nick. Like I said, seems I can always pick the bottom. Done well again at 50 from a cost of 39 for DKNG. That said, understanding my unique ability, I trimmed instead of closed. Hey at least there's that.
Another winning questionable decision was getting out from TQQQ at 110 cost when I plotted the opportunity weeks in advance to reopen. Double duh!
Tell me about your 9 pointers Nick. HD and ABBV just really aren't' doing that well. I could go with the ABBV dividend, but it's not a priority. HD, I have at considerably less cost, so holding from the most recent purchase is a drag on the account, which I have more than enough with other stock doggies already. Jeez.
Court I looked at the video around 28 and I have one question- why is a blade battery better than any other lithium battery ?
I'd say politics and stupidity go hand in hand. And guess what ! We're the recipients !
Out of TQQQ at cost of 110. The market is too erratic to take a firm position.
