I'm very sorry, that is always tough.
Im going w/ whatever buyins OR ooag says, most definitely not with what anyone else around here says so if that means there are two outstanding share counts where i believe both are true so be it, and when the audit comes out, i will believe only the audit (but not necessarily...), so untill then its pretty clear that the share count is a matter of faith mixed with calculation which for me puts it relatively fixed and much lower than it was ever than before semantically with the short position, if you believe in ghost shares, you have to make adjustments again that is a matter of opinon
the stock chart, which i believe in more than anything else is whispering to me that nothing nefarious is going on, but as anyone that trades well knows you can't always trust a chart, you cant always trust a guestimation, and you cant always trust an audit, and you cant always trust yourself and ihub says you most definitely should not trust anyone that posts here--though you may be able to i might add,
so as far as some are concerned its open to interpertation, so maybe for you that means whatever you say it is frankly i dont realy care

flipping imho is what its all about even if you are a buy and hold person, dilution on the other hand, well thank goodness we have some assurances here w/ ooag as compared to all the other stocks that collectively we have grips with.
i'll just about bet that everyone here has more than one stock they are keeping an eye on that in all reason will wind up w/ a reverse split, what is nice is if we also have stocks where that is not an issue and it seems for nearly all of us ooag is one of those stocks
Ibox Update & Welcome to the OOAG message board,
If you are new to ihub or haven't checked the Ibox recently its worth a look. The Ibox Navigation Outline sends you to some nice features from essentials such as current share structure and press releases, to a world wide user map, Charts, and a short interest study based on finra FTD data for one of the bigger squeezes in the recent history of the stock (an excel chart imho is worth taking a look at which also appears at the end of my post as a signature)
If you are unfamiliar with the "ibox" concept this screen-shot will help find it (arrow points to the link that opens up the ibox):
please scroll down
For me the single most interesting thing in the ibox is the clustrmap of the world which is also a link, if you compare the embeded clustrmap below with the one in the ibox you will notice that things have progressed:
Once you are at the ibox notice you hardly need to scroll because of the hypertext links throughout (probably overkill at this point but I expect the ibox to grow in terms of content), one thing that is very useful is that you can hyperjump from the bottom to the top and then to the charts (etc.), when done with charts you can then go to the message list to do as you wish, if you hit refresh the browser will remember your relative position so give it an extra millisecond--unfortunately you cannot hyperlink to the ibox unless its already open else I would have provided a link here for it
finally, ihub does have an extensive list of rules, that probably for most people most of the time are just common sense. Since I try to maintain the ibox, for how much longer I do not know, I really dont have time to delete posts, anyway here are the rules.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/complex_terms.asp
FWIW, this ibox is worth the price of admission, so enjoy and as always
HAPPY TRADING!
thanks for reminding me
John, lets try to remember the good times on the board, the days when dragon man got to chime out his thoughts in an unpretentious manner
he didn't get the credit he should have, zeev's turnip patch (sorry about the spelling) was well honored by ihub when he passed we can at least think the same for dragon man and hope his wife is doing well in florida.
he had an honest opinion that some didn't agree with, but he was not an abrasive man and thats why everyone here misses him--better to feel bad about him than the stock,
everyone misses you dragon man
very much so,
God Bless
i think us longs are right, and everyone that disagrees with us on ooag is just sucking sour grapes
BUYINS.NET is not a registered investment advisor and nothing contained in any materials should be construed as a recommendation to buy or sell any securities. OOAG has paid $995 per month to purchase data to be provided in six monthly reports. OOAG has not approved the statements made in this release. Please read our report and visit our web site, http://www.buyins.net, for complete risks and disclosures.
these are legetimate reports, barnett is not dictating to buyins in their content especially the reported numbers, and buyins has to buy the information to calculate the proprietary squeeze trigger--that is not just the finra data imho,
It is highly computerized so there is a good profit margin for buyins, my guess is after taxes etc. they at least make 500 bucks on it, note at the bottom of my post my "signature", that took from conception, to making choices, to finally gathering the data at least 3 hours (including cutting and pasting into the net--granted im a little rusty on charting w/ excel. Buyins made three graphs and annotated them, and they are nice, given that I consider my time to be worth a heck of alot, i'd say the reports are fairly reasonably priced considering the network of outreach and branding that I would never be able to obtain since i'm not in the business.

I agree, i have not seen such a nice island in a stock in such a long time, it really seems like we are building toward a upward breakout in the not to distance future
"Regulation SHO requires bona-fide market-making activities to include making purchases and sales in roughly comparable amounts. The Commission has stated that bona-fide market-making DOES NOT include activity that is related to speculative selling strategies or investment purposes of the broker-dealer and is disproportionate to the usual market making patterns or practices of the broker-dealer in that security. Likewise, where a market-maker posts continually at or near the best offer, but does not also post at or near the best bid, the market-maker's activities would not generally qualify as bona-fide market-making. Moreover, a market-maker that continually executes short sales away from its posted quotes would generally not be considered to be engaging in bona-fide market-making"
(from today's report) http://finance.yahoo.com/news/BUYINSNET-Updates-OMDA-Oil-pz-2491899187.html?x=0&.v=1
so, the market makers are not bona-fide, meaning they are not real market makers? so the disagreement about market makers shorting the sock has boiled down to the posers shorting the stock, must not exist because no one can short the stock except a market maker?
it truely is hillarious what some people that don't like the company have chosen to argue about!
go ooag

we will see, and yes im here too eom
sorry my bad, that is not japan, ty for pointing that out, i need glasses
dont you look at the ibox?,
1.) look at my welcome sticky post it will guide you,
2.) then at the bottom of the ibox you will see a map of the world
that map my friend is a map localizing ip addresses that frequent this url
check it out!
we have now added thailand and japan to the growing list of nations that are following the stock
and it also looks like finland as well!
it may be worth considering all this foreign interest
not only that but imho, most flippers made money at expense of the shorts so they will keep an eye on ooag and jump back in once it looks like the stock is momoing upward
holding price at low volume is considred a harbinger for an upside island reversal in this kind of chart.
this is a pink so, sometimes the rules dont apply, we can only hope!

I am incountering some limitations
It will not work unless the ibox is open?
go to it, i have feedback from some posters and do have to do a better job on guiding and instructing posters re the ip-map, other than that i can see little else to improve the ibox other than posting videos, so hopefully the next pr will include videos from corcord dome!, if thats the case I probably have it in the bag, otherwise who knows and who cares, right!
i take it this way, all the people that show up to tout a press release but dont bother to do a survey, especially a vote, ought not to be listened to
so I am giving the rush a chance to define themselves, of course if there is no PR next week I will have to postpone it untill there is one
-real
That is a very interesting assertion, what I will do next week if there is a press release I will put a new survey up relating to your issue, and will resign if the outcome favors your position, It will be a simple vote and i will remove the ibox upon resignation which will take place approximately 24 hours after the vote is tallied and I will give the vote a 24 hour window.
I am sure you don't recall, but i didn't nominate myself to be an assistant moderator, cjstocksup put me there without my asking to be appointed i merely suggested that i was thinking about it, and did not indicate that I was really pleased with the appointment, go back and read the posts, i was not really keen on doing this because of there are so many posters that suffer from irrational behavior.
know this, that ooag is watching, and may question the integrety of the vote, its unfortunate that people from other boards with no interest in the stock can come and vote me out based on reasons that have no substance.
nevertheless i am so sick of dealing with the whole mess, that i would rather not continue, but will do so if there is a 'majority' behind me, I will have to ask readers to honestly compare the previous ibox with the one which i have designed that is they will have to also state true or false whether the ibox was an imporvement over the old one, no offense to frankiefillet, my intension was only to improve the ibox, i have deleted very few posts since ive been here, far fewer than anyone can imagine, it was never my intension to hastle with angry posters.
I beleive there is a roll back feature in the ibox and i will take advantage of that if its both necessary and possible.
ty, much appreciated, now we just need some videos from the company to embed into the ibox, hopefully coming soon.
folks, this is a weak response on the survey, have to tell you pretty embarasing for a stock that traded 30,000,000 shares above 3 cents in a single day,
I really have no incentive to moderate the board other than the fact that is just a hobby of mine, its good to know that none of my immediately family knows that i have been operating this message board as id be getting a lot of criticism for it.
it appears that for the time being the powers that be, ihub admin, donleopoldo, and the 5 people that completed the survey believe that there is some value in this board so hopefully i will be able to stay at least untill the uplist to the otc.bb

templars, please take the time to do the survey, I would like to hear from everybody and will ask people periodically, so far we have 2 responses I would like to get 20, regardless of what the posters position, this gives everyone a chance to put forth their oppinion on the recent buyins data especially wrt a global perspective

(finding hypertext can be a dragk, again ty)
well then i guess u have a beef w/ buyins, i suggest you take it to them
btw my trigger from the charts is 3.5 cents for a technical break out that is self sustaining in the abscence of any buyins data
the bottom line is this, if buyins in correct we need to get to the otc.bb asap, before any further covering takes place and to inforce compliance with regulations per reg show, the company w/ a flixed share structure will still not merit oversight protections until they are on the otc.bb imho
the regulators position is that unless the numbers are reliable per uplisting whey should they bother to police anything to the company's benefit including monotoring ftds
no one's going to do it
hence though you have a point with some of your distinctions, it hardly matters because no one knows becsuse the people that count dont dare because we havent had an audit, only an audit and the share price response per short covering will prove out to some extent any of our positions on this issue
good day
breakout coming? island reversal? would not be suprised if we get some chart men in here soon blogging some analysis...
watch the videos in the ibox
everyone that cares about their stock should take the survey
did anyone ever say what the new share count was after the r/s and what the current share count is?
corneilus and nelson imho had nothing to do w/ this dilution and are probably upset
do you think they will make the cut? the only chance they have is to get all the bad news out of the way first.
good luck
Interesting reading though, ty4tpost
Please take survey on clustrmap and short-sales data
the survey is just above the post new message, also please some longs think of a honest "pitch" for the stock--lil help please

also, re the buyins report, it clearly indicates that about 100,000,000 shares were shorted after the reverse split at very low prices driving the stock down, this indicates to me that they drove barnett to dilution unwillingly so, I also think that its possible that the majority of shares issued by barnett still exist as certs and have not been registered for sale unless it was after the 100,000,000 share dilution by the shorts, dang, i cant imagine what it was like for barnett to see the stock tumble like that knowing that there were tons more shares on the market than had been issued. that had to totally suck,
I think that its very possible that the float counts certs but should not relative to the closeness with which many of those shares may be held. If thats the case odds are maybe even better than 50-50 that half or more of anyones current holdings are shares that shorts probably will have to buy back from us.
LOL, thats not a bad position to be in
-real
yes, but the best optimizer of those efforts will be to be a threshold security, that is to be listed on the otc.bb
UPDATED SRO = self regulatory organization, for a pinksheet stock, especially one like ooag, does not have to enforce the threshold security rule (though take your pick of those that driven by self preservation who ultamately will-head of trading desk for example), hence its a relatively safe bet that a large number of shares may be not reported to the bimonthly totals listed on the pink sheets for example. These shares, the unreported ones + the reported ones on pink sheets constitute not the total number of shares that have been shorted but rather the number of shares still short! big difference. buyins is not clear about the current level but it may not be a streach to consider that they are suggesting that the total position is the total shorted, for a threshold security that would never be the case unless there was criminal activity. but for a stock like ooag, its possible, It depends on how big the "entites" that are shorting the stock are, if they are cappuccino sipping turtleneck sporting weenies then more positions have been covered, if a multibillion dollar firm is shorting then little or no short positions have been covered.
thats about all anyone can say about what the report means, my graph is somewhat more insightful in that you can see the 3 main peaks that the FTD volume under each peak was successively less and that in the middle peak on 5/26/2010, what buyins called a 'normal' trading day was anything but normal, stock went up with minimal FTD's this is key, you look at the curves for FTDs on my chart and you see the FTD pressure got weaker, then the Third and final peak the shorts hit it harder but the shorting about that day decreased
the upshot is that the shorts came out strong for the first peak and weakened there after, when they didnt succede during the second peak, they hit harder on the 3d, but not as hard out of the gates weeks earlier.
it was to the shorts good fortune that the markets weakend but imho they did do a lot of covering during a several week period in the early part of the run up. But only again to take on an even more lucrative short position from whence the stock was higher. based on my charts (below) I think its more reasonable to assume that the stock as a short position of more like 50,000,000 shares tops rather 150,000,000, but this is assuming that there is some kind of internal regulation such as margin control, fear, etc. or whatever you want to call it that could compel a naked short seller to cover their position
Additional Note: because ooag does not have a "traditional SRO" we need to get to the otc.bb asap so that the stock obtains one, once we do, FTD's Thresholds, etc will all have to be (ultamately) adhered to (though some shortsellers undoubtedly will drag their feet!).
I think its safe to assume that if we work with the SHO once we get on on the otc.bb, the stock will rally hugely within the first 3 weeks simply based on compliance requirements of finally being a threshold security!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV. Threshold Securities
A. The Basics
1. What is a Threshold Security?
Threshold securities are equity securities that have an aggregate fail to deliver position for:
•five consecutive settlement days at a registered clearing agency (e.g., National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC));15
•totaling 10,000 shares or more; and
•equal to at least 0.5% of the issuer's total shares outstanding.16
Threshold securities only include issuers registered or required to file reports with the Commission ("reporting companies").17 Therefore, securities of issuers that are not registered or required to file reports with the Commission, which includes the majority of issuers on the Pink Sheets,18 cannot be threshold securities. This is because the SROs need to look to the total outstanding shares of the issuer in order to calculate whether or not the securities meet the definition of a "threshold security." For non-reporting companies, reliable information on total outstanding shares is difficult to determine.
