That's not NEWS.
What's a BM?
That's a short-term thing (for now), the only way I think the resulting oil increase impacts us is at the gas pump, sadly.
I'd love that, but they're actively acquiring as much land, leases, and wells they can. I don't think they have the capital for a buyback at this point.
Down the line, we might see that as they push to sell their own gas.... It could be a good way to improve the interest rates banks would be willing to give them.
You and me both.
How do you AVERAGE 100% anything?
Seriously.
I'm confused as well, but I'm trying to keep in mind that they haven't actually made any revenue, yet. They have orders, but that's all.
Also, I will say that I was disappointed by how slowly their getting into production. WIth 23 million potential U.S. customrer and a product that lasts around 10 days, 100+ thousand is a fraction of what they should be producing.
They've also got a bad habit about releasing news after markets close rather than in the morning.
I've resigned myself that this stock probably won't appreciate for a month or so.
It could be worse, though. It could PMII. If you can figure out why that one is stuck in the mud, I'd love to hear any theories.
Okay, okay, okay, let's stop making gut predictions on what the share price will be after we finally get the production news. We know it's going to go up, we don't know how much.
Let's just all wait and see together unless you've got some math or empirical data to back up your quote.
Well, the wording in the bill is key because I believe the bill that was passed last week regulates tobacco and tobacco products. If that's the case, then they can't touch Smokefree b/c there's no tobacco in it according to their Annual Report.
I know that e-cigarettes were supposedly a "target" of the legislation, but as I was discussing earlier this week, if they made the mistake of not giving themselves the ability to regulate nicotine SPECIFICALLY, then no restrictions will ever hold up in court in this country. Plus, Smokefree could play the moral high ground angle by saying that the government is trying to prevent a less harmful alternative to smoking tobacco out of the market b/c RJ Reynolds bought the legislation... which isn't exactly false. This bill was primarily about Big Tobacco protecting its market share.
We'll see, though. If I were smoke free, I'd have lawyers all over this as soon as it became law. It may slow their revenue growth, but I don't see how the government can keep them out unless they can prove that Smokefree makes a tobacco product.
It still does fit.
Buzz is dying down. It's been a while since they released news, and the volume is wilting a bit.
It will probably be this way for the next few weeks.
(9) .0004 X (2) .0005
I'm new to this, and I'll be the first to admit that I haven't delved into the numbers enough to have a ballpark figure for this company's value.
I'd love for you to be right, but I'm still a little skeptical at this point as to what the terms of the deal are going to be.
I was honestly expecting something in the .0015-.002 range when I first stumbled onto this board. Who knows, though?
How much debt do they have. Last night that was the only thing I could think of that could keep them here. Their asset value alone is worth a lot more than this stock price, and as any Accounting 101 student knows.
E= A - L
Come on, people. Let this jungle cat run.
I'll massage their neck and whisper in their ear while you're doing that.
Yeah, but
(1) .0019 X (4) .0020
Not a good distribution for holding the gap.
I think the "longs" were committed at least through production number publication before this.
If anything the news yesterday, puts the shorts back into the buy and hold for a couple of days mode.
Which probably means that we'll have another steep run if production numbers hit today or Monday followed by another pullback... maybe midweek.
Damn, I'm ready for this to just blow the top off and go up to at least .01.
People only use so much gas, though.
The extra wells add to their reserves, sure, but they still have to find new customers to buy it.
Yeah, I hate waiting. ALthough, I'd kind of rather the news hit Monday, so we'd have extra time for a long run without the weekend to cool everything out.
L2 (as of 8:15 EST)
(2) .0018 X (1) .0019
One of the 18s is our buddy, NITE. However, he has raised his sell price to .0020.
Wouldn't there be some caniballism from the new wells?
This is a consumer product. They can't just add more wells and sell an equal amount of gas per well. People would have to consume more, right? I wonder how much more gas are they really going to be selling. I'm not bagging on this acquisition. It certainly makes them a stronger company, but I don't think this is as cut and dried as some people have implied.
Now, someone mentioned that reserves were more important to the stock price than the production so that brings up an interesting idea.
As for the production, has anyone looked to see if they can find a graph on gas consumption by month within the U.S?
It's going to vary month-to-month, but predictably so. I think we could get a more accurate valuation if we take that into account... once we get the production estimates.
Waitaminute, I don't see any gas in these pipes!
They could've found a quarter in the gutter. Then they'd be up to $139.25!
Dude, don't lower yourself to his level. All it's going to accomplish is getting yourself in trouble with the mods.
They have some revenue, now. It's just a fraction of what they have to pay their CEO each month.
At this point, I think the heat that would be created from burning a billion or so of these shares would be worth more to Seemless than the stock itself.
3X.0014 vs 4x .0015
S.O.S.
Have they set any kind of timeframe on when they were going to start extracting ore? The only thing I've read is late summer.
I take issue with people who throw out misinformation and disinformation to try to take advantage of others.
AAAARGH! NEED PRODUCTION NEWS.
This is killing me.
Okay, I just dipped my foot into the water. What do you guys feel the prospects for today and upcoming days are?
Good morning fellow owners of this craptastic stock. Anyone hoping will see 3 or 4 before the end of the week?
When do you guys think SPNG is going to drift back into the green consistently?
Good. It could've been a nice return all in all, but I've got my mind set on >.009 at this point. Trying to accept .004 or .006 was disappointing.
Come on production news. Give it to us this morning, and let this horse run until closing on Friday.
Um... yay?
I've considered this, but what I do is going to depend on where the run stops. I will probably ride with it, I think that if the PR is good tomorrow, and they release something saying that they're not selling, then it's very possible they could get a loan, and that increase in operating capital could generate another run based on the fact that it will allow them to explore more and put more wells into production sooner rather than later.
It sounds good, but until we get that production report.... it's meaningless.
You do realize that people outside the U.S. consume around 1.4 trillion cigarettes per year, don't you?
I mean amongst all the crap you've been flinging on this board, the thought has crossed your mind that perhaps Smokefree won't need the U.S. to be very profitable. According to their time-table, the product wasn't going to be released in the U.S. until early 2010, anyway. They've got plenty of time to work on this situation.
That would suck. I think we're all looking for more out of this company than that. Not like we have enough of a stake to make a difference, though.
That is assuming that any of this garbage is true and not just some message board concoction.
Looking at L2, that doesn't make sense. 6 buyers for every seller. Everyone wants in. If the sellers were smart, they'd bump their prices up one or two points.
6 buyers for every seller, and the price still isn't going up.
Adjust your sell price idiots, you can get more.
Why do you think it's at 2:00?
