This will be interesting. I actually verified that CBAI did a little over $1.2M in cord blood revenue in 3Q07 as CBAIInvestor stated yesterday. Really surprised me. Also confirmed that with Matt. So now the question is did they actually record the best ever cord blood revenue this quarter as Matt said they would or not? We'll find out soon.
If you're so smart (NOT), show us where Matt said he was going to do more than $1.2M. With facts.
I think back then the revenue included more than just cord blood revenue but haven't checked. I expect this quarters number to be around $1.2M. We did $839K of cord blood revenue in the first quarter.
Ditto. I think some of what Mr Long says is true. I see the potential for stem cells to change medicine and that kind of correlates to much of what he posts. Clearly there is a government grant out there for the taking and Nevada does have a pretty well connected Senator in a tight race. And I have a different view I think from you and that is I'm OK with us having 7B shares outstanding if it takes us from 8th in the world to 5th or under. It's kind of like buying a home back in 2000 thinking by 2005 it would more than triple. How many would you buy? That's what I'm thinking about stems. I think being big now is best and we will grow into huge profits if stems are gold down the road which they may be. If I didn't believe that why would I be here big. Rain is history so why even talk about it now? You have to love the China deal and what that could mean in years to come. We're now in Europe, South America, and China besides the US. Who would have predicted that when I bought last June. And look for another big deal before the end of the year IMO. The share price today means nothing. Like Ivy we sleep, we creep, and then we LEAP. That's what I believe. As for my target, who knows. Once we get to profitabilty lookout.
I'm not going to give you a long answer since you didn't ask me but for one I'm a semi post dilution shareholder since I bought last June. Obviously you invested predilution from your attitude. All I can say is why would you have bought millions predilution knowing how much debt they had? They filed back then so it wasn't a mystery.
Actually, I think they are getting to the point they need to hire a CFO. It's starting to get more complicated quickly. And remember Matt was pretty much in NY all this past week. A lot going on. I can wait.
With the rapid International expansion comes reporting growing pains. I was kind of surprised but not real surprised. Last quarter it was delayed just a day or two I think so hopefully we won't have to wait long.
I expect it tonight.
I will be shocked if the numbers aren't a lot better than last quarter. But I'm very interested in what if any guidance going forward they provide.
Yeah, but they also never had numbers to get excited about. If the numbers are really good quarter to quarter they may surprise us with the timing of the release. I'm also hoping for some guidance.
If we can break resistance at .0054 we might be off to the races. Here are two of my 2Q 10Q targets. I'm looking for $1.2M of revenue. If we beat that by much it would be great. And on gross profit I'm looking for 60%. We did about 50% in 1Q but we had to pay rent in Vegas plus pay PGT to store the first month and a half. So it should be up significantly.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if the new company does a share sell to raise capital. Might be another great investment.
Good old CSTI still sitting on the Bid. I can't imagine it will be long for before they have to file and we find out who our new partner is. Can't wait.
You should. We own a piece of what will eventually be a rocketship IMO. For years to come. Matt is in full acquisition mode today. Once we're at the size Matt is mostly happy with the base will have been put in place for a profit explosion. Stay tuned.
IMO the deal we got was fantastic and to expect more unrealistic. Remember, all we're doing is providing the expertise (unless Mr Long is correct about some stem muliplier).
Think of the sub as a new company which it will be. It has owners like any company and in this case we own 10%. Maybe AXMP owns the rest or not. I doubt it. Surely with the connection made to this David guy, you can bet his company China Stem Cell LTD owns a good chunk of the sub and is most likely funding the deal. The China deal for us could be huge in a few years. The royalty is basically all profit.
When the China deal was announced it clearly states we own 10% of the China stem cell subsidiary. To date that sub hasn't been announced. Then we get a picture of another facility about 50 miles from the AXMP site with free rent to build (another?) a facility. No additional info on that site yet.
So we own 10% of a sub that will be announced not 10% of AXMP. And it appears we get an 8.5% royalty for all revenue of the sub as it grows. Cleary we get the royalty on the AXMP deal but probably on all revenue of the sub. We need more details to confirm that though.
It wouldn't surprise me if we got a China sub announement this week. Soon anyway IMO. I'm curious if we get the royalty on any new lab opened by the sub in China. I know we get it for the AXMP deal but not sure about others. If we get it for all then 2011 forward the royalty will be significant.
He has to file today or file an extension. Period.
First of all, I'm not sure anything other than the 2nd quarter 10Q is coming out this week. It should be out today unless they file an extension. Last month it was held up trying to get the Stellacure numbers and hopefully they have fixed any reporting issues with them. This stock is building a foundation right now trying to grow revenue and get to cash flow positive and profitability. Until that happens or an announcement that makes it clear that will happen soon the stock is stagnant. I'm sure some dilution is still taking place to pay the negative cash flow but my expectation is we get to a point that is not necessary soon (by year-ed). Then we're off to the races. And I see little chance of a downside risk.
The Q comes out today or they have to file an extension today. One or the other.
A Director only has four windows a year where they can sell shares legally. I had the periods but can't find them. Around the quarterly is a closed period I know.
Interesting. Every time Matt says a hiring number it goes up. I like.
I think by the end of this year you will have your answer. There are only four and a half months left in the year so not that long. Time will tell. Stay tuned.
Unless he gives some forward looking guidance and then we could get a pop.
I saw that too. Could be a potty break. LOL
I don't know what you expect but even though I expect the financials to be better, I'm not sure they are going to be good enough to cause much of a run.
Morning all, morning Scott. Matt is in NY right now. Don't know why.
I think the main argument for not genetic testing is the fear of the affect on getting insurance in the future. I know there are many laws about the privacy of medical records but who knows. I also noticed they didn't list ALS which can be identified by a genetic test.
Morning all. Matt's not going to tell me that. But unless he runs into a problem again this month with closing out the Stellacure financials they should release the Q by Monday. But I do have a bet with him if he makes my targets I gave him for the 2Q numbers. His revenue target I gave him is $1.2M. LOL. Lets see if he he meets or beats that. Actually, I gave him a GP% and Profit/Loss target too but I'll keep those to myself.
Matt is totally focused on being cash flow positive and turning a profit as he knows our PPS is going to be devalued until then. I'm still hoping we can achieve that by the end of this year which isn't that far away. But it will take something bold to do it I think. And Matt has no trouble being bold. Stay tuned.
Good to hear from you Longshot. I agree with Booger. Good things are coming here in the next several months. And I also agree there is very little if any risk. Good luck to you.
Interesting. Isn't minorities what this new government grant is all about? Hmmm.
He said it for a reason. I agree.
Great picture Booger. LOL. All I know for sure is Matt has BIG expectations. And he obviously has made a lot of influential friends along the way which is he is now hugging up too. I'd love to know who #1 thru #7 in the world are since we're #8 according to Matt. I kind of think CBR is #1 but not positive. They claim to have 300,000 stems stored but since they are private we may never know for sure.
Just guessing but I think more like October/November. Matt stated in his last video that we were now #8 in the World. First time ever he mentioned that fact. Lets see where we end this year.
I was a CFO for IBM.
I don't think shorting is the problem anymore. Nite is selling for someone.
I'm not going to argue with people about the impact of dilution. I think I have a pretty solid understanding from my financial career. The fact is if dilution is the means to get us to control the inventory and add value to the market share greater than the number of shares used, and, the value of ownership of a much higher market share as the market explodes, then we win. Simple as that. If you want to stay with a small stable company you picked the wrong CEO. If you're shooting for the stars, you picked the right one.
Too many people are fixated on a buyback. I'm more interested in exploding growth of revenue and profit.
My view of CBAI is like Ivy. First it sleeps, then it creeps, and then it leaps. If you believe the need for stem cell storage is going to explode as certainly Mr Long does, then the focus now should be on getting as much of the pie as possible and then let the organic growth explode. I believe that is Matt's vision and is certainly mine.
Well if we want to move up the food chain even more it's going to cost us something. Now is the time IMO. I won't the same thing as Matt. Being the largest storage company in the world. Time will tell.
