Well, I have to be honest...I had to test TOP SECRET Harley parts. To see if they were viable, for mass production.NOT!!!!
I worked 26 years making Harley parts. I also helped with the AMF to HD turn around. I first had to clean parts, than I had to spray them w/lacquer. Then I decided to polish. If you own a Harley,up until the year 2000, I can say we shipped it to you.
Jim Vowler! Did you assume that people might cut you down on some blog site? Don't worry about it! Let your truth be known. Would you try to at least try to post on this web-site, just to defend yourself? Send us a clue, please. Or explain why not. Thank You
However, Skunks, I feel like a real heal, since I didn't get a chance to read your last post. (before my religious point)
No way could you have gone through the WHOLE video, Mr. attention deficit syndrom, I'll just leave it at that. BEEMER, I'm sorry for my previous statements! I was, as a newbie, being real non-DD.Now I feel closer to God , as I will never try to hurt any one who uses God's WORD in vain, but however, using God's WORD in vain will lend that person to tell the truth. Hence I sought out the Garland/Safia connection, and found the repentance.
you are right, and I apoligise, however...I looked up to YOU to find out facts, and when I saw this stock fall soo hard, I knew you have been too lazy to do the DD
Ever hear of REVERSE MORTGAGE ? The elderly like it if they have no income...ahem..
Maybe those people were the holders of the land contract, minding their own business....hence no disclosure...
Where have you been? I mentioned this a long time ago. (albeit no link, sry) I am like Beemer, looong on upzs. What is cool is Jim's initial paranoia to any link to Garland's kids website, since it was made public that Garland was 'under' some investigation. Ha! And now it looks like that Safia will earn her keep to save Jim from him having to turn the Ellisons' "IN"!?!?..just kidding....I just want to know the TRUTH!
Numb-(alternate word for lejumes), he mentions in one of the videos that the downstairs people pay rent. (The hdqrts)
The earlier ones were 12-06, and if you venture further on...you will hear Safia (voice) mention 6-07.
One cool thing about one of the videos was this...JV admits to paying SEC fines. I guess you gotta give Jim some slack. He can't advertise, (in Jim's mind) about any wrongdoing on the Corporate web-site. It's all about the product... NOT about every mistake learned from...so if Jim could only have the faith in his vision enough to admit to it more publicly...this board would be more forgiving. IMHO
I meant earlier to say 'Lakeway', not Lakeview. But, however, I reviewed the promotional video produced on site in Austin by Garland Harris, via a totally different venue. It shows JV and Garland. I'll have to say, it was a pretty good show. It was taped by Safia, I imagine, with softball questions thrown at Jim V by Garland and his wife, with a few by Mark Ellison. It shows them entering a bare-bones building, with a phone# on a door. The # was 512-263-7101, FOR LEASE. So I googled it, and I was expecting some realtor, but instead came up with some electrical contractor. Did some electrical dude wire the property for some customer? And then acquired the property for payment rendered?
I doubt any 'executive' left, being owed money. In our society, money is paid to those who earn it. And from how I see it, what 'work' has been done for this company? A sub-standard web site? Crashing computers? Really poor audio quality on the recorded conference calls? I suppose the guy who got on a ladder to hang, temporarily, the Unique Pizza logo at the Lakeview, Texas location for the benefit of the viewing audience, did the most work. (and even then, the guy probably didn't bother climbing back up to retrieve it, as the true owners were calling the police to report trespassers!]
Safia's Disclaimor:...1. All aspects of the retail food industry are highly competitive, but the competition in the pizza industry is particularly intense. The Company will be competing with a large number of other pizza and sub establishments such as Mr. Gatti’s, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, Austin’s Pizza, Subway, Thundercloud Subs, and a number of small “mom and pop” establishments. Some of the competitors have greater financial resources and more established reputations than this company.
2. Higher than anticipated costs in items including, but not limited to, equipment, supplies, and leases, may result in an earnings shortfall.
3. The advertising and marketing strategies and resources may not be as effective as anticipated resulting in a revenue shortfall.
4. Oil price increases may result in higher than anticipated operating expenditures.
5. Further acts of war or terrorism, severe weather conditions, health epidemics or pandemics, or the prospect of these events can have an adverse affect on consumer spending and confidence levels which may hamper the growth of the business.
6. Legal problems, including but not limited to lawsuits over issues such as food borne illness may result in a detrimental financial impact and/or negative publicity.
7. Employee pilferage may occur resulting in financial hardship.
8. The Company has no production facilities for food and equipment and is dependent upon obtaining the services of outside manufacturers. Shortage on the part of food suppliers and/or manufacturers would cause harm to business operations.
9. Delay in hiring and/or training of new employees may cause growth to slow.
10. The success of the Company will depend on the ability of management to operate daily. The Company plans upon growing its base of management as needed and when it becomes financially feasible. There is no assurance that management can do this in a timely or profitable manner.
11. Even though supported by the franchisor some of the management has limited experience in the operation of a pizza restaurant.
12. Our ability to anticipate and respond to trends or other factors that affect the informal eating out market and our competitive position in the diverse markets we serve, such as spending patterns, demographic changes, consumer food preferences, publicity about our products or operations that can drive consumer perceptions, as well as our success in planning and executing initiatives to address these trends and factors or other competitive pressures may affect the success of the business.
13. Our results of operations are substantially affected not only by global economic conditions, but also by local operating and economic conditions, which can vary substantially by market. Unfavorable conditions can depress sales in a given market and may prompt promotional or other actions that adversely affect our margins or constrain our operating flexibility.
14. Each of the Company’s restaurants is subject to licensing and regulation by alcoholic beverage control, health, sanitation, safety and fire agencies in the state, county and/or municipality in which the restaurant is located. The Company generally has not encountered any material difficulties or failures in obtaining the required licenses or approvals that could delay or prevent the opening of a new restaurant and although the Company does not, at this time, anticipate any occurring in the future, there can be no assurance that the Company will not experience material difficulties or failures that could delay the opening of restaurants in the future.
15. The Company’s ability to meet its growth plan is dependent upon, among other things, its ability to identify available, suitable and economically viable locations for new restaurants, obtain all required governmental permits (including zoning approvals and liquor licenses) on a timely basis, hire all necessary contractors and subcontractors, and meet construction schedules. The costs related to restaurant and concept development include purchases and leases of land, buildings and equipment and facility and equipment maintenance, repair and replacement. The labor and materials costs involved vary geographically and are subject to general price increases. As a result, future capital expenditure costs of restaurant development may increase, reducing profitability. There can be no assurance that the Company will be able to expand its capacity in accordance with its growth objectives or that the new restaurants and concepts opened or acquired will be profitable.

NEWS FLASH....Safia Ellison is Garland Harris's DAUGHTER!http://www.myspace.com/SafiaHarr
Did ANYONE see "The Sting"? You go to a realtor in Austin, bring in Jim Vowler as a concerned CEO of a 'company', have actor Mark Ellison show what he 'plans' to do with the 2000 Guadelupe vacant storefront....the rest is history...and I mean, gone, man, it's gone...Safia was Garland's top seller...too bad. Don't ANYONE of you franchise owners send in a single dime!!The con keeps going and going...
(Liquid Dreams Custom Pools, 4500 Steiner Ranch Blvd., Austin, Texas 78732)
..it is a place the Ellisons and the Harris clan scouted out..a Pool Company!
I agree with you, Charlatan. Garland E Harris has learned to create a cash flow for himself, and like many other BOILER ROOM operators...moved on. Now it's called "The Dream Makers, Inc". (And one of his listed clients is his own creation...GTP123, surprise,surprise)4500 Steiner Ranch Blvd., Austin, Texas 78732
I gotta say that I am sorry for my previous attitude. I think a call center WOULD be an asset to the franchise. Obviously, although I thought my previous post was funny...I did observe that it was an INSIDE job...who the hell robs a pizza guy and NOT take the $$$. JV has much more experience than I could ever want to have. Chuck
Oh, William Vowler has unclaimed property coming to him, according to this web-site :http://www.ost.state.wi.us/home/UCPWeb/ucpsearch.aspx
Johnzee, SLOW your horses, a little, pal. JV only said that an un-named THIRD PARTY was coming coming to bat for the Call-Center,and we all know the HQ building is on a land-contract. That may be part of some grand plan, whereby the HQ could someday re-locate on perhaps Wall Street, Las Vegas or even Joliet, Ill., someday...lol
I recall that McDonald's was tinkering with that concept, whereby a customer would be talking to a person in India, at the drive-thru...I don't know how that experiment fared, but I don't think it did well. Orders were taken fairly well, but McDonalds found it was on the serving-end where the mistakes were being made...i.e...wrong sized fries, no ketchup, etc.
Well, Skunks, I did look at Carol Harris's Web Site, and they offer to not charge a fee if an Employee of theirs works 520 hrs.
Let me get this straight, 1(one) Billion shares are offered up for sale...5 cents apiece. JV controls 70% of those shares. So 300 million shares are negotiated for trade. Garland Harris, as owner of Fountain Capital, has claimed to have boughten 'substantial shares', per conference call admittance. JV says he can't sell his shares for a year, per law. And franchise owners, per by-laws, can exorcise the stock option of purchasing more shares for a year as a franchisee. So Garland Harris "claims all of Texas", in the form of ONE-HUNDRED and FIFTEEN franchises. .05 times 115 equals more money than you can shake a stick at!!(when taken into the context of the substantial AMOUNT of shares Garland already accumulated.) My bet is What? What do YOU THINK? I'm listening....
Did he say there was a fire there? Some equipment was put in storage in the meantime, during re-building? It was very hard to follow the Con. Call. It was really grainy, between the underwater-sounding pipe banging and other annoyances. Can I get the transcript? I'll pay troptions for it!!!
Seriously, folks, if they got rid of the call center, that is good news. JV bashing 16 year old kids was bad. I was 16 once, and I gave it my honest best. How can you teach trust to kids if you don't allow them to be trusted? It sounded bad from the onset. I still own this stock cause I'm stuck with it. I'll cut them down, yea,(Management) but I sure want them to succeed. Vince Lombardi,... did he bitch???Heck yea!
Don't panic, it's just Garland Harris making his payments...duh
I can see it now: Prime News Wire...."If you want to participate in the next UPZS con call, please dial 1-900-456-up(your)zs" lol..."charges may apply"...securities act 1934, etc, etc, etc...blah blah blah
ANY WAY...Gluten Free wheat could be an answer...A pizza shop in New York offered it, and CNBC jumped ALL over it...showing a gal who had waited years for it to come around...to finally taste a Pizza! Talk about unique! Hint Hint to fat f--kin Jim and Bill...HELLO!..Get off the phone w/Garland and look!!! You Can Be Unique, somehow...Celiac people might just love you.
Plus a friend of mine's best friend used to make @ $2000 a month for a web site called RUDE HUMOR.COM, and all he did was steal crap off the web, and post it on his site. One day he was offered 10,000 for the site, and the dude said no...why should I? Anyway, his site bombed a couple of months later and he eventually sold it for $3000.( that was in the year 2001)all ads paid his income...
Well, after I found the history of GTP123,which became a company instituted by a search, by 'Harris and Co', of a defunct registered company called Nova Phamaceuticals...I see a loophole, and common theme here. WEB hits. Period. All advertising on any of the sites created by Garland Harris PAY. THE ONLY income I SEE might be the supplier FLASH on Unique Pizza and Subs inferior web site. Alexa.com might give you a run down of the # of 'hits', so to speak. IMHO..(suppliers made a deal for exposure on the website)
By the way, a company called Red Prairie, based in Wisconsin, sounds soo much like Revention. I would think Billy Blackwell works for them. Any MORE name drops, Jim?
http://realityceo.com/video.asp.... I wish the videos were dated, cause I am sooooooo laughing. What a fricken con. As in Boca Raton, San Diego, Hawaii, LaCrosse,Wi. Michigan,Texas. On one of the videos he (elder Vowler), is dropping the name of Jack Welch, former head of GE. WTF (Sorry if I brought this up if one of you had already posted this site) I am new and stupid, and you can take THAT to the bank! darn it! all!
Cramer taught me to diversify. Thank God UPZS represents only a small portion of my portfolio. And Cramer was saying "to buy a small cap-stock with room to expand". (He didn't mean THEIR expanded pockets) Sorry for my pessimistic point of view, but we ALL gotta do our 'homework" on this one. And here is one more tool to do that...http://wcca.wicourts.gov ...good hunting! (sorry Grace, your OWI might be found, but you are just a cog in the gears) and the dude from Oconomowoc, your felony was just probably from accepting food stamps from your earlier stores in the hood. And the rest?....find it your self!
But seriously guys, I spent a good portion of today doing research on ANY validity of the Austin market, concerning the Ellisons. I did find a website, provided by the Austin, Texas city government, with regards to building permits, etc. I'll have to admit that my software was unable to de-cypher the download of ALL building permits, since I don't have Microsoft Office. But it IS there, can anybody else help? Thanks..(they DO include Lakeview in the database,BTW)
OK, TOTO, I missed todays cc, but I'm not worried, I can always catch it again on VH1's one hit wonders,.... starring that Star Trek guy...whats his name? ...oh yea...Dr., Rev.,Prof.,...GARLAND E HARRIS, Esquire Inc. ... (Don't look behind the curtain!) ...Leavenworth IS in Kansas... lol
Ricky-Bobby, if you read #6374, than went to the link, and do the relevant searching...you can come to certain conclusions. Just type in certain UPZS relevant names into it. Be sure to take notes, and jot down dates when certain mortgages were executed and satisfied. Then compare THAT calender with a chart of UPZS stock sales. One could say that the "satisfaction of mortgage" may also mean the property was sold at Sheriffs' auction...but I doubt it.
